So, in this video, I'm going to be calling three-month-old leads. These three-month-old leads are the ones that are going to yell at you, they're going to cuss at you, and they're going to scream at you. I'm going to teach you how you can literally sell life insurance to anybody if you got a phone number, a name, and a beneficiary, and you're looking for life insurance. I'm going to teach you how you how you can close anyone in this video.
You can see it is currently 6:58 in the morning on a Saturday, and I'm going to jump on the dialer. I'm going to hand-dial people, call them up on my cell phone—boom, boom, boom—and I'm going to get them on the phone. They're going to yell at me, but I'm going to still sell some final expense life insurance on the phone. So, if you guys want an OG video of how to close a three-month-old lead, this video is going to do it. We're going to go ahead and record and document, so stay throughout the whole video. I'm sure I'm going to get yelled at; I'm sure I'm going to get hung up on; I'm sure I'm going to have to overcome a ton of objections; I'm sure I'm going to have to bring people's guard down. But I'm going to teach you guys how you can literally close anyone and make money selling life insurance. So let's go ahead and let's do it.
Just to be transparent, we're going to set our leads. You can see here from December 1st—double click on December 1st—to January, February, March 1st. Okay, let's do this, and we'll hit confirm. All right, so we have a ton of leads—nearly 5,000. Can't get through them all today, but basically, we have their first name, their last name, and their beneficiary. These are some old leads, and we're going to call them and we're going to try to close them and sell them some life insurance. So let's go ahead and jump on the dialer and let's get started.
Good morning, Miss Pauline. It's Peter. Okay. Yeah, the reason I was calling is that… um… I'm sorry, I've just been so busy I haven't had time to get back with you at all. It was about the request that you sent in the other day. Um, it shows here that you just want to make sure this is right. You listed your son and your daughter as your beneficiary. Remember filling that out? I had surgery… too hard… I go… what happened? They have surgery on your ankle? No, baby on my leg. Oh my gosh, how are you recovering? So… frost… look that again. Yeah, is anybody there to kind of help you at all, or you kind of just… um… doing all on your own? Doing it all on my own. Wow. Oh my gosh. And are you making some progress though? You're doing good? Um, well, it hasn't been that long, so… okay. I'm so… yeah, I'm so glad that you're that you're getting better though. Yeah, it was about the request you filled it out on… on the internet. You put down that your kids—son and daughter—are going to be your beneficiary for life insurance. Does that ring a bell? Yeah, it does. And you put down that you… uh… you do have some coverage. Were you just looking to like add on, Miss Pauline, or you just trying to find something more affordable? Would you let it go? Okay, I can't talk about that right… you're in pain? Oh, you're in pain. Okay. Well, hey, Miss Pauline, I'll let you go because it sounds like you're… you're in pain. I'll let you go. Okay. Bye-bye. Okay. Bye.
First pick-up of the day. Bine. Not in the place to buy. You could tell she was maybe on like a pain medication or something, but we're going to move on. Um, like five dials, one pick-up. Let's go. Let's do it. So with the… with the lead desra dialing, it's… it's tough to break the Bears at this… so long ago. Um, so I use a lot of like playful tone to try to like get their guard down, and a smile in the beginning, so important. So we'll D our next lead. See what we got here. Mr. Michel. Yeah, this is Peter. Is Irene there? Uh, Peter from where? Yeah, Peter with Legacy Family Life. Um, I was calling for Irene. She sent in a request or… uh… she put down Lisa Marie Gonzalez as the beneficiary. Is she all right? Um, hold on, Mom. Legacy Life. Yes. Tell her… she told me to call her, but she was busy the other day, I think. Okay. Um, she said if she could give her a call back later, ‘cause she’s taking care of her… um… one of my nephews. Oh my gosh, is she okay? Yeah, she’s okay. Okay. Well, can you just give her the phone so I can set an appointment with her, ‘cause I got to go. I got to leave later. And she told me that she was… Legacy… Legacy Life, Mom. She put down Lisa Marie as the beneficiary. You put Lisa down as a beneficiary? He doesn’t know what that is. It’s for affordable life insurance. She sent it in the other day. Affordable life insurance for seniors on a fixed income. She told me… I pass it to my dad. Oh, okay. I’m confused. I’m just trying to help you guys. I’m really confused. Do you need my help? Me? Can I help you, Mr. Gonzalez? Yes, I was… yeah, I was calling to try to help you guys. Um, Miss Irene sent this in the other day, and she needed my help. Uh, she put Lisa as the beneficiary for the life insurance. Do you remember? Did she ever talk to you about that? No, she hasn’t talked to me about that. Okay. Well, let me explain what’s happening here. She sent in a form looking for insurance. Are you guys looking for life insurance? And she told me to call her. I already got life insurance. Oh, maybe that’s why… How much do you have? 20,000. Okay. Maybe… maybe she was telling me… she was trying to… ‘cause she was busy. And how much are they making you pay for the 20,000? 57 bucks. Okay. Let me see what’s going on here, ‘cause I’m kind of confused now. And what company are you with, because I’m confused with the company. Okay. Well, when you guys filled this out, were you looking to find something more affordable, or you just trying to add on? Um, no, I don’t know what she’s doing. Okay, ‘cause I’m really… Does she have life insurance? No, she doesn’t. That’s why she filled this out. And this is important. Were you guys… so you have life insurance, but she doesn’t? Yeah, but she’s not old enough to have a life insurance. What do you mean? Yeah, she’s… she’s young. How old is she? She’s 56. Oh, we help people in their 40s to 85. She’s in between that age. Yeah, so… oh, so what does that mean? I’m just confused. I’m the one that’s going to [ __ ] die first, bro. Oh, you think you are? I’m 64. Oh, you’re still a spring chicken, my friend. You’re doing all right. Yeah, I wish I was a spring chicken. How’s your health? Uh, not that good. Yeah. You… you hanging in there though? Yeah, good, good. Lisa is… Lisa there to be there for you? Yeah, good, good. Well, Mr. Gonzalez, do you guys want me to try to help Lisa out? I’m just really confused. All right. Well, give… call later. Discuss it with her. Okay. She told me to call her. Yeser. Okay. I’m just so… Should I put down “call later”? Yeah, call during the week. Tuesday. Is there any way you can just give her the phone because this… the third time I’ve called, and she said the same thing. Well, she’s right now… changing the baby… baby and stuff. Okay. I’m just trying to help you guys. Um, last time I called her, she said she couldn’t talk. This time she said, “Call me then.” I mean, I’m just getting a little frustrated, you know, ‘cause I’m just trying to help. All right. I’ll let her know, so you… to call her. All right. Tell her to call me back. It’s important. All right. All right. Bye. All right. That was kind of a situation. I’ll keep this in the video… um… where someone is… they’re not like… you know… you can hear the person I was calling for us in the background, and the son picked up, and like… she’s not here. And you got to have a lot of authority here. A lot of times like… oh, if you’re like very passive, like, “Oh, no worries. Well, I’ll call you guys back.” You’re never going to hear from them. But you got to take charge. And then I got the husband on the phone, and I try to figure out… was there any angle of value? I didn’t have any angle of value, and then he was pretty uptight, so didn’t feel like I wanted to spend a lot of time trying to chase them down. We’re going to move on to the next lead. But I’m just treating the leads like… like they filled it out yesterday. Like they filled out life insurance, they solve the problem. If not, I’m going to help you. Let’s go to the next lead. Who is this? It’s Peter. Miss Lana, can you hear me? I was calling… it’s for Lisha. Do… do you remember… you remember who I am? No. It’s Peter. You told me to give you a call the other day. I was busy. You put down your beneficiary… She’s not being funny. No worries. I called you, and we were kind of busy. Um… you put down… I just want to make sure I got the right person. You put down that you’re in Michigan, and I’m also seeing you at 66. You filled out that request. Does that ring a bell? No, I don’t… I honestly don’t. And it… what was for? Yeah, it was for the affordable whole life insurance programs for seniors on like a fixed income. You put down that you don’t have any coverage in place. Were you just looking to leave something for like the family, or you just trying to cover like the burial expenses? Wow, that must have been something a long while back. Yeah, it was about… let me see… what makes you say that? Because it’s been a while back since I ever did something like that online. Huh? Let me see… it just came… when you first filled it out. Yeah, I’m seeing you filled it out. Were you looking to cover like the burial expenses or… huh… something like that? But it was… I think I told you it was… they had something online for… um… senior citizen, and it was covering… uh… the barrial. Yeah, yeah. It’s for like seniors who like are on like a… Are you on a fixed income? Yeah. [Music] Yeah, yeah. So what we do is we help seniors on like a fixed income find like the… like most affordable whole life insurance programs that will help them pay for like their burial expenses. Um… the CI can help you, Miss Lana. Are you a smoker or anything? No, I don’t smoke. I don’t drink really. Okay. I’m not boring, but I don’t do anything. You just be chilling? Huh? Yeah, I enjoy my friends, but I don’t have to do everything that you know… Yeah, it’s sad. It’s like you got to have a drink in your hand to think people are having fun. I hear you. Um… you know what… and the bartender that knows me always puts water right in my face. I be like, “Girl, yes! Some juice or something!” I mean, I will get me a drink or something like that… like juice or a pop or something. But if I don’t care for anything, I don’t care if I do look like the eyeball. I don’t need the water. Yeah, I love it. Cool. Um… then… no heart attack, stroke, or cancer or anything like that? Okay, good. How about diabetes or any elevated sugars? Are you on mform or you on insulin? Any neuropathy or complications at all? You usually got a long list of medical conditions. Are you in any like medication? All like… linl and lopine. Oh, okay. Let me… let me just cut to the chase here. So you’re 60… 66, correct? Correct. Okay. And got you here in the east coast. And how much coverage do you have now? I can just help you see if I can save you money. Well, I have about 12… like… well, I would say 12,000. It was like… um… we just say 12,000. Okay, you have 12,000. And how much… what company is that with? No, you tell me what you got going on. Oh, oh. Okay. Um… because some companies won’t let you like replace or find like a cheaper plan if you’re already with them. So… so… um… 12,000. Okay. Did it lapse on you? Huh? Is it… are you still… no? Oh, no, no, no, no. It’s… no. It hasn’t lapsed. No. Okay. And the last thing for you… I give you some options… was it one of those term policies or a whole life? Those whole life. Okay. Whole life. And this is the big thing that I always like to ask too… is there any like waiting period? You know what? I didn’t look into that. I don’t believe so. That’s why… the name of the… and how long have you had that? Because I can kind of see if there’s a way… be or not… I had it… over 10 years. Oh, wow. Wow. And there… you’re still… okay. Wow. You had a good policy. Okay. Um… well, before we jump into it, I mean, I do want to give you some of my personal information. Do you have like a pen or paper on you? No, but you can… um… tell me. I can put it in my notes. But… um… hold… [Applause] Put your… speak… so I get your information. That’s… that’s fine. Okay. Just let me know when you’re ready. I’ll give it to you. Oh, I’m ready. Oh, sorry, dear. So my first and last name is Peter Roberts. Peter Roberts. Peter Cottontail, whatever is easier for you. Um… second… second thing I want to give you is like my direct number. You just know that you can call me, you can text me, reach out to me. Just know that I’m here for you. It’s the number that you see on your screen there, so you can save me in your phone there. And then the most important thing is my license number that I have to give you. This is how it’s going to share with you that I’m licensed with the state, that I’ve been through all the background checks, and most importantly, just have the credentials to even be talking to you about life insurance today. That number is this… 195… that’s my license number… 1975. And feel free to look us… feel free to look up… if you want to put up Legacy Family Life, our company. We got like over 1600 five-star reviews for helping our seniors. So just take… just take a lot of pride in actually helping people, you know what I mean? Um… but enough about me here. Kind of like… f me in… what even had you like… huh… what even had you motivated to start even looking around for some life insurance? Just… just… just… just thinking, you know… everybody have a thought… get old… you see… yeah, yeah. So you just been thinking about it? And… and… and what do you… I guess what is the goal of this policy? What would you want to make sure it gets taken care of? No, it’s just extra. You know how like… even though you have money to bury you, it’s just extra… just something… just say, “Hey, yeah, I’m leaving you with something.” It’s nothing. Oh, okay. So you already have the 12,000, you just want to add on? I’m assuming… MH… ah… okay. And I guess what do you feel like you would use the extra for? Would that go to like a kid, child, loved ones? What are you thinking? Yeah, my kids… one… same thing, you know… you know what I’m saying? It’s just like… I said… just get older and just keep living this life and get good and it don’t… years… just what they say… and you still here… that’s the golden part. Yes. Yeah. And… and… and how… how have you been feeling kind of as you… as you’re going through all that? I’m okay. Good, good, good, good. So basically you just want to know… I feel like as you’ve gotten older, you just want to make sure you have coverage to make sure your kids are taken care of. Yes, they already took care… they’re very smart… just that… you know… you just always… just say… this… just say, “I love you,” you know. Oh, God. This would be like… that… “I love you” gift for them. Yeah. Wow. Okay. Goa. And did they… did… did you tell them that you’re going to try to do something like this, or is it more of like… just something that you’re going to… No, no, no. I didn’t say anything about that. Wow. Wow. Okay. So more of just trying to like give them this gift without them knowing? Mhm. Wow. Okay. And have you been looking into something like this for like a while now or something? Or… you know… like I said… it’s just a thought… this pops in your head… get older… yeah. Okay. I’m just trying to put all the pieces together. Forgive me. I just… sounds like you’re in a good… you’re in a good spot. I mean… just want to… just as you’re getting older… just making sure they’re good. And are you planning for like a formal burial or are you going like… the cremation? Or what have you kind of decided on? I don’t care what they do with me. It’s all temporary. I get you. So you just want to make sure that you’ll have extra on top of what you already have. Okay, cool. And… um… is there any other bills or debts you worry about leaving behind to them? No. Good. I think… anything else? You’re all squared away? Huh? Good. All right. Well, I’ll kind of jump into it. I mean… um… it shows here that… you know… what we’re going to be looking at is like whole life insurance. And you let me know if this… what you want… it’s something where like the monthly payment’s never going to go up, the coverage amount will never go down, and it’s something that will like never expire on you. It’s going to be there for you like your whole life, so that you can go to bed at night knowing that your kids are… you know… taken care of, and that gift will always be there for them. Is that kind of what you’re looking for? M… and when it comes to peace of mind, knowing that you can leave this extra gift… like how much extra additional coverage would kind of give you that peace of mind? I do not know. That’s why… that’s why I’m talking to you. Oh, okay. Cool. Just want to see… now I plugged in all your information, since you’re so healthy… um… there are… there are some options here for you. I don’t know if you’re already with this or not, but the most affordable option for you… um… that would give you the… the best plan for you, Miss Lana, is going to be with a company called… um… Savings Bank Life Insurance. Have you heard of those guys before? No. Oh, really? Um… okay. They… they’ve been in business, you know, for a while now. They’ve actually been on TV; probably seen them on an ad or something. But they’ve been in business since 1907. Uh, they’re A-rated with the state, which means that they… you know… are backed by the Better Business… greater than A rating… just really well-known and established company for you. Okay. Okay. Okay. Uh… the big thing here… and the most important thing with your diabetes is that they’re not a company that will make you wait two years, which is like an absolute blessing. Okay. What that means is… if like something actually happened to you tomorrow or something… God forbid… like the policy would get paid out. You don’t have to wait that two-year waiting period. Do you see like how important that is? Yeah. And also with your policy too… a lot of companies don’t have this, so I just always like to throw it in there. They have what’s called like a… it’s called the Sequoia Funeral Coners program. I don’t know if this is important to you, but basically, if you… when that time does come… um… they’ll have a service and a team that will help plan your arrangements. They’ll even help shop discounts on caskets and… you know… and urns, if that’s the route. And they’ll help your… your… your children save money on the arrangements. It’s just a service that they have… okay… for free. But they have a few options here for you. And now… we… we’ll kind of start at the lower option. This is like the… the starter option is the $10,000 option. Uh, this is for individuals who just want to, you know, have something small in place to cover like a basic cremation and then possibly a little bit of a funeral. But… um… this is just a small option for everyone on a fixed income, just to make sure that they have a little something in place. Now, this is a tax-free check that your kids would receive… uh… after you’re passing, and just make sure that you can give that little gift that you’ve been looking for. It’s a little over a dollar a day. The $10,000 plan for you, if you could even get qualified—crossing my fingers—it would be… uh… $45.99 per… per month. Okay. Do you want me to go up or go down a little bit? Yeah, you go up. But I have… seen… go ahead. I’m listening. Oh, sorry. Uh, the next option is the 12,000. Uh, this is just something like that… I guess… currently have… um… the 12,000… if you can even get approved would be $543 per month. And then the maximum that you can get is up to 30,000. This would cover everything, start to finish, cover… you know… adjust for inflation, make sure your family is completely taken care of. I don’t know if I’d recommend this for you, but it’s more than you need. The 30,000 would be $129.60 a month. So I need to ask you… what do that come in for people who’s on… um… um… on a fixed income, because way things are running right now, they can just push you in the dirt. Say, “We fine.” Not the kids, but I’m just saying… “We fine.” Yeah. What do you… yeah… what do you mean by… what do you mean by that? What I mean by that… they had put an option in there… they say now that… um… you know… at my age… okay… at my age… they’re taking care of your funeral arrangements that you can get it at a very cheaper price. Oh, yeah. Um… um… yeah, it’s just… if you look on the internet, it’s all over the internet… just telling you that the government is helping you out. That’s… don’t help out, because it’s been me like that for years. Yeah. Um… and Miss Lana, is it okay if I’m… if I be honest with you… any of those ads that you see where like… you know… Donald Trump or Joe Biden’s giving away free life insurance… that’s a complete lie. There’s no such thing as… no… no… no… no… it went free? Oh… oh… he wasn’t… he wasn’t a president then? Oh, good, good, good. Yeah. So these are reduced rates. For example, there’s other companies for the same… like… for example, I’ll give you the quotes for them… like for the $12,000… if you go to a different company that’s like on the free market… the same 12,000 that you would pay… that you would pay $54 for… certain companies would be $715. Lincoln and Heritage is $74… $76. So it just depends. These would be the… the lowest rates for whole life insurance. Is that kind of what you’re looking for? Or… yeah… I wasn’t looking for on term, because at a certain age… term… say if I make it to 85 or maybe… mhm… yeah… was at 8… 85… yeah… that’s the kick out… some is earlier than 85. Yeah, exactly. They expire on you. Um… and this is what you’re probably looking for… like the whole life insurance. Yes. Gotcha. Now, out of those options, do you feel like the 10,000 or the 12,000… what would even make most sense or give you the most peace of mind? Well, probably be the 12,000, but I’m GNA wait for a minute, and I’m gonna make sure that… that my fine ass is going to fit that fine ass. Oh, okay. It’s… how much is… 7… something dolls? Oh, no. For the 12,000… 12… no, no, no. It’s 54 bucks. 54. Yeah, but we can always go a little bit lower, because what… with life insurance, it does… you know… typically you can always increase it. You know… what can I share with you? What most people typically do? Can you do… what can I share with you like most of my… my… what I see most common… what most people typically do? What that… like a lot of people that I help that want to have something in place will typically get like a small starter option, like the 45… $45 option… that’s going to be the 10,000. And then once it gets comfortable in their budget, they can say… you know… there’s typically every three to six months… we’ll check up on you… we can always increase it for you. Um… so… start… yeah… so my question is… that’s not much of money… really… not much of money. Okay. I guess… about question is that… that the… the… um… the 54, right? Is this only like 2,000 more? Correct. Correct. Mhm. Yeah. And it’s… it’s always important… I always tell everyone… like… you always want to make sure you find something that fits in the budget. There’s no sense of getting anything if you… you know… can’t keep it. But this would be the best rate for you statewide. Do you feel like we should just start with the 10,000 or the 12,000? Do you think? And it’s… it’s retroactive… um… like… like today immediately. So you’d have to schedule your first payment whenever you like. Once you make your first payment… absolutely… means if something happens… I’m going to have to schedule that… I’m glad you said that. Yeah, I have to be in… inlign… it… that’s what I’m trying to say. Yeah. It works with Social Security, so like… depending on your birthday… it’s either the 1st, the 3rd, the 2nd… Wednesday… when do you typically get your… your paycheck? Back on the 3rd? Yeah, that’s what everyone does. They schedule it for the 1st or the 3rd, and they just have it kind of come out on the Social Security. But when it comes out on your 3rd… so what we could do is set it up on the 3rd. When you make your first payment… if you were to pass on that day or the next day… there’s no waiting period. It would pay out full amount. Does that make sense for you? It makes a lot of sense. Okay. And just thinking of like your budget and just your… you know… what would give you the most peace of mind… would you rather start with a 10… something smaller… just start with a 12,000? What gives you the most… I guess… peace of mind? You know what… my… my mind… my mind probably saying the 12, because actually… even when you create it… doesn’t… you know what I’m saying? Yeah, yeah. It does go up. Um… but the big thing is… like I said… you can always start low. But you think that $54… would that be comfortable and affordable for you like every single month? You know what I’m… do… I guess I’ll do the 45. It won’t be for this month. It could be scheduled for next month. And then I’m going to talk to my… to my… MH… I guess… my daughter. Yeah. Just… just asking a question. You mean like… ask her like she can help you pay for it? No, no. Oh… I’m ask her… pay for it. I was going to ask her different questions about… we know… looking to… to… um… like… um… how I can look… my own… I’m very good at that. Yeah… like… but when… you know… when… when I can always call a funeral home too… like… like a burial, you know… or maybe the cremation, you know… like… how far long is that? Because actually… sometime you get an amount of money like that… sometime kids… they have a little funeral… whatever… then burn you right on up. Yeah, yeah. I totally understand. I just try to make you laugh. Yeah. And have a party or something. Absolutely. Yeah. Put you in the… inator. Yeah… they… I know them… they will just want to bury me. And it doesn’t matter… for… as… like I said… as for me… but my… my… I guess my point is… would like to fish around and find out what’s the market rate going… everybody’s getting cremated. That’s not funny. But everybody… yeah… yes… getting cremated. And… and… and their children are keeping their ashes. So… me… go figure that. I mean, I wouldn’t want to do my mom like that. I just like to just bury her. Yeah… I’m some years old. She’s 87. Yeah. Oh my goodness. Wow. She’s… she’s… she’s doing great. Wow. Wow. And think… I mean… if you live to 87… I mean, I can’t imagine what they’re going to be price-wise… funeral wise. Oh my gosh. Yeah. Wow. So… yeah… so like the average… the average funeral costs in… in Michigan for you… the traditional funeral service… um… start to finish… if you do like a basic… is on the higher end… is $89536. Would still solve that problem for now. Would it be best to probably start with the 10,000 for now and then increase it later down the road? Does that sound like best for you? Yeah… with the whole life assurance… yes… I guess so. Um… but like I said… it would have to be for like next month, so… oh… I mean… yeah… no worries… you… first… you have to see if you can get like qualified… okay. Yeah. Because here’s how the process works. So it’s not like I can lock this in. I got to make sure that you can get approved. But basically, our biggest challenge is… basically, you have to fill out an application that I would take you through. It’s really quick and easy. I put your… put your information over the phone. They do like a… a prescription check, and then they ask a few health questions. And then you put down your beneficiaries. Who you going to put down? I’ll put down my daughter. Okay. Your daughter. And then what you do… then… is that if they get you approved, then you can pick the date that you want your first payment to come out of your account. And what date were you thinking? Remember… 3rd? Okay. The 3rd. Now, what we can do for you too is then you can always kind of push out to the 3rd… no problems there. Um… but just to make sure… ‘cause that’s what I… I never want to be taking any food off anybody’s table… is that $45… is that going to be taking any food off your table?
