Hey everyone! Welcome back to my channel. I am super happy to have you here with me for another video.

This week, I'm prepping some smoothie freezer packs that are going to be super easy to grab and go out of the freezer and blend up into a smoothie. Rather than grabbing stuff from the pantry, freezer, and fridge, everything is just going to be conveniently all together in one little pouch. [Music]

I like to make my smoothies super nutrient-dense and packed with antioxidants and lots of veggies. I like to put a lot of leafy greens in my smoothies, so I'm just picking some fresh kale from the garden. I like to use frozen fruit and frozen berries in my smoothies that I usually buy from Trader Joe's because it's the best price. I figured this was just a great chance to show you some of my favorite smoothie recipes.

So if you're new here, make sure you subscribe to my channel, turn on the notification bell so you don't miss any of my videos, and make sure you give this video a big thumbs up to help support my videos. Let's just hop right into the video!

For these recipes, I found these silicone reusable bags on Amazon, and these were super affordable. I got six of them for like thirty dollars, and for silicone reusable bags, that's like an amazing price. So I'll link these in the description box. This is what I'm going to be making my smoothies in.

Okay, so let's just get started. This first recipe is one of my favorites; I've shown this a couple times before on my vlog channel. It has a ton of veggies in it, so it's more like a blended salad, but I feel so amazing when I drink this.

First concoction, I'm gonna start out with some fresh kale, and let's put in a few collard green leaves as well. I absolutely love this frozen very cherry berry blend because it has every type of berry plus cherries, which are also super rich in antioxidants. Um, and there goes a banana! The tartness from the berries really helps mask the green flavor.

I add some of these; honestly, I don't eyeball it; I just kind of... let's call it like a cup, stuff that on in there. Then, I like to use mango in this recipe; mango, when it's blended up, gets really thick, so let's do like a little bit.

Okay, this might sound a little weird, but I like to throw a carrot in this recipe to get that beta-carotene. So, I like to put one carrot in there. My other favorite thing I like to put in smoothies is hemp seeds. Having some fat along with the veggies helps absorb some of the fat-soluble nutrients. They're also higher in protein than other nuts and seeds; I think they're like 20% protein.

Okay, when I make my smoothies, I only like to put flax seeds in them because it just makes it too thick. The last thing I add is a few pieces of broccoli in there. Cruciferous veggies are really good to blend up because the beneficial isothiocyanates in cruciferous vegetables activate when they're blended, crushed, or chewed. So that's why I like to add kale, broccoli, and collard greens; it'll give you those good isothiocyanates which help protect you from cancer.

Here's smoothie number one! It looks adorable. Good! [Music] I wanted to show you how easy it is to grab one of these pouches out of the freezer and blend it up with some water. I used about a cup and a half of water.

This next recipe is what I like to call a blueberry muffin smoothie. So first, I'm using one banana; chop that up along with some more kale. You could really use any leafy greens. Next, I'm adding these frozen wild blueberries, one tablespoon of hemp seeds. I'm trying out this new protein powder today. I really loved this one when I saw it because it only has five ingredients and it doesn't have any fillers in it or gums. So, I add one scoop of that.

I'm also going to add some of my favorite adaptogens to this recipe: this is ashwagandha powder, and this is a mushroom blend. I'm gonna add like a teaspoon of each, and I'm going to add a little bit more vanilla. This is ground vanilla bean powder. This is turning into a very expensive smoothie!

A little dash of cinnamon—this is what makes it taste like a blueberry muffin! [Music] And here's how the blueberry muffin smoothie looks all blended up. It turns this beautiful purple color, and you can really taste the vanilla and the cinnamon. It really tastes like a blueberry muffin—it's so delicious!

Next up, I'm making a tropical green smoothie. So once again, I'm using lots of leafy greens: my kale and some collard greens that I got from the farmer's market. I stopped using spinach in my smoothies because spinach is higher in oxalates, so I like to use lower oxalate leafy greens.

You can really pack the greens in this recipe because the fruit really hides the green flavor. Next, you need about one cup of pineapple; I always use frozen pineapple. And one cup of mango, along with one banana. Add in my banana, then I decided just to throw another carrot in this recipe.

You don't have to do this, but I'm going to add some vanilla protein powder. You could also do unsweetened protein powder if you don't want the vanilla flavor in there. Add another tablespoon of hemp seeds; I pretty much add hemp seeds to all my smoothies—I really like it! [Music] Being Omega-3s.

This one is smoothie number three, and here's how the tropical green smoothie comes out. It's this beautiful green color. The vanilla protein powder adds a nice flavor, but if you want it to be more tart and tangy, you can totally leave that out. But I've been making this recipe for years; actually, it's one of my go-tos.

The last one I'm gonna make is going to be a chocolate peanut butter protein smoothie. This is what I love to have as a dessert or as a post-workout shake. For my chocolate peanut butter smoothie, I'm starting out with some leafy greens. I pretty much add leafy greens to all these recipes because the flavor doesn't really bother me, and you get the extra nutrients from them.

Then, I'm adding in one banana, one tablespoon of hemp seeds, one scoop of peanut butter, one tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa powder, and one scoop of protein powder. You can also add one to two dates, depending on how sweet you want it. If your protein powder is really sweet, you don't really need to add it, and a handful of ice. You could also add any kind of berries to this—cherries or strawberries would be really good.

This is what I make at night when I really want something chocolatey. It gives you your chocolate fix while still being super healthy. And I have one bag left, so I'm gonna make my first smoothie recipe again because that's my favorite one. It just has a lot of veggies in it, and I feel so good after I drink it.

So [Music] let's add that in here. I have this other kale from the farmer's market that I want to use. Get that in there, some mango... [Applause] some frozen berries, pop up this carrot, and I think that's it.

Okay, those are all my smoothies!

Okay, well, here's all of our smoothie packs. I am so excited I did this! This is gonna make mornings so much easier. Instead of pulling a bunch of stuff out of the fridge and the pantry, I can just put this in the blender with some water, and it's gonna be super easy.

Thank you! [Music]
