If that sounds like you, stop for a moment. I want to encourage you with this powerful truth from Psalm 121, verse 1 and 2:
"I lift up my eyes to the hills; from where does my help come? My help comes from the Lord, who made Heaven and Earth."
Now pause and think about that. The one who made Heaven and Earth, the creator of galaxies, mountains, and oceans, is the same God who promises to help you. This isn't just a poetic idea; it's a Divine reality.
When life overwhelms you and all you see are towering hills of problems, this verse invites you to look up. Don't stay fixated on the obstacles in front of you. Lift your eyes higher to the one who has already conquered every battle you'll ever face. The Lord Yahweh himself is your helper. He is strong when you're weak, faithful when others fail, and limitless in power when your resources run dry.
You're not alone, and you're not forgotten. The same God who shaped the universe is intimately involved in your story. Whatever you're facing—a financial challenge, a broken relationship, a delayed breakthrough—God is right there, ready to guide you, strengthen you, and deliver you.
So the next time you feel overwhelmed, remind yourself: your help doesn't come from people, luck, or circumstances. Your help comes from the creator of everything. And if He can make the heavens and the Earth, there's nothing too hard for Him to handle in your life. Trust Him. Lift your eyes; help is on the way.
