Even though it's not highly edited, people seem to enjoy watching these kinds of videos. Now, let's explore more popular videos from this channel. Wow. This channel has videos with millions of views, and most of them have over half a million views.
The best part is they not only earn from affiliate marketing but also make a lot of money through YouTube. In the past month alone, their channel has received over 1,000,000 views, which could translate to earnings ranging from $278 to $4,000. Based on my experience, travel related content tends to earn more money on YouTube with an estimated earning of 8 to $10 per thousand views. So they could be making anywhere from $8,000 to $10,000 from YouTube alone. Now, let's talk about affiliate earnings.
If only 1% of their 1,000,000 viewers click on an affiliate link, that's 10,000 clicks. If just a small percentage of those people book something worth $10 through the link, they could potentially make $100,000 from just 1% of their audience using the link. In this step, I'm going to show you how to easily create professional quality videos using a new AI tool. I've tried many text to video tools, but this one stands out from the rest. It's like ChatGPT, but specifically designed for video creation.
It's amazing how it can turn a simple text prompt into a fully edited high quality video complete with footage, realistic voiceovers, captions, and smooth transitions. Just copy the prompt, paste it into the prompt area, and add your video title. Let's create a video like the ones I showed you earlier. Once you've got everything set up, just click generate. Now the AI works its magic, and the video generation process will take three to four minutes. When you find it, click replace, and it will update instantly. When you're done, click apply to save your changes. You can also change the script. Click edit again and then edit script at the top. You can change or remove any part of the script.

After uploading the video, you need to add a title. For the title, copy the exact title of a popular YouTube video that gets a ton of views. The logic is, if that title worked for them, it might work for you too. For example, I'll use the title, top 10 places to visit in the world in 2024. Next, let's work on the video description.
I've provided a prompt for you to generate an SEO optimized description for your video. Copy the prompt, head over to chat GPT, paste it in the prompt area, include your video title, and click generate. This will give you a well crafted description that can help your video rank higher. Alright. Now, copy the generated description and paste it into your video's description box on YouTube, but we're not done yet.
The next big thing is adding an affiliate link to the description. I've included 20 different call to action phrases you can use. Copy one that resonates with you and paste it into the description of this area. Then, head over to your Expedia affiliate account and click on create a toolbox. Next, click the button that says open create a toolbox.
In the top right, click the copy link button. This is your affiliate link. By the way, you can customize this link with your business name or personal name if you'd like. Once you've copied your affiliate link, go back to your YouTube video description and paste the link right after your call to action phrase. The last step is adding tags, which are keyword labels that tell YouTube what your video is about.
Having the right tags can really boost your video's visibility in YouTube search results and recommendations. To get the best tags, visit the website rapidtags.io. This handy tool analyzes YouTube data to suggest popular and trending tags related to your video topic. Here, simply paste the title of your video into the search bar and click search. It will then generate a list of relevant tag suggestions.
Copy the generated keywords and paste them in the keyword section on YouTube to optimize your video's visibility. Alright. Now, one thing left, which is the thumbnail. So adding custom thumbnails are crucial for grabbing viewers' attention. They are the first thing people see before deciding to watch a video.
In fact, 90% of the best performing YouTube videos have custom thumbnails. As you can see, these travel videos often use really pretty pictures of places like beaches or beautiful nature scenes for their thumbnails. They do that to make you really want to click and watch the video. Now, I will show you how you can create a better thumbnail like those used in popular YouTube channels. First, head over to pexels.com.
In the search tab, look for images related to nature, such as island or other natural scenery that aligns with your video content. For example, I found this beautiful picture. Once you've found the perfect image, download it. Next, go to canva.com. Click on Custom size.
Enter the dimensions nineteen twenty by ten eighty pixels and click Create new design. Now, grab the picture you downloaded from Pexels and release it onto the whiteboard, then resize it to fit the page. After that, click on the image, go to the top, and select Edit image. Here, choose a bright filter to enhance the picture's appeal. For this demonstration, I've selected the lunar filter.
Now, for an impressive trick to boost your thumbnail's clickability, head to Google and search for Adobe Background Remover. Click on the first website, upload the picture you downloaded and remove the background. Once it's done, download the edited picture and drag it into Canva. Align it with the previous picture and apply the same lunar filter to seamlessly blend the images. Now, as you can see, it's really perfect.
Here's the trick to make it professional. First, let's add some text. Click on the text icon in the Canva toolbar, then select add a heading. Change the text to twenty twenty four, adjust the size to large for better visibility, and change the color to white to make it stand out against the background. Drag and position the text over the mountain area to create a focal point.
Next, let's work on layering the elements. Click on the background removed picture of the mountain, right click on the image, and select layers. Choose bring to forward to ensure the mountain image is in front of the twenty twenty four text. This will create a nice depth effect, making your text pop against the background. Remember, less is more.
Avoid adding different texts or images. This ensures that your thumbnail is clean and viewers immediately understand that the video is about the 2024 travel list. Once you're finished, click share, then click download, select jpg, and download the picture. As you can see, this is the thumbnail. It looks cool, right?
Alright. Now, head over to your YouTube, click on upload thumbnail, and choose the image you just created. And that's it. Your new customized thumbnail is now live on your video. Now, here's one more crucial step, publishing the video.
But hold on, don't hit that publish button just yet. Timing is key when it comes to getting your video noticed. The sweet spot for posting on YouTube is between 2PM and 4PM. For this example, let's set the publication time to 2PM. This timing can really boost your video's visibility and engagement.
Once you've set the time, simply click Schedule and your video will be all set to go publish at the chosen time.
