Hi guys, today I have a question for you. Tell me, what are the three things you prioritize your time doing during the day? What are the things you spend a lot of time doing?
Some students shared with me that their daily work includes studying, going out with friends, or some are sitting at home using their smartphones, surfing Facebook, TikTok, or playing games. Or some of you work extra jobs. So, what is your answer?
Number two, I want to ask you, if you had 1 billion dollars, what would you do? Some of you shared with me that if you had 1 billion dollars, you would take your lover on a trip, show gratitude to your parents, go to places you have never been, eat the food you really like, buy the clothes you really like, or maybe save, invest, or do anything. Van Van, right?
And for you, if you have 1 billion dollars, what will you do? Here we see the number 1 billion dollars, and the zeros behind it will symbolize the things we are thinking about. It could be traveling, showing gratitude to our parents, business, investing, buying things you like, eating great meals, or going to charity, and so on. A lot of zeros in Vietnam, right?
However, the number one here, according to you, if we lack this, we cannot do the zeros behind it. According to you, what is number one? Try it out. See what my answer is. That's health, guys. That's right, health is number one, the number one priority.
So, let's go back to the first question. The three things that you just thought of are your priorities for the day so that you can complete them. Do you have this number one priority? Because all of humanity must admit that without health, you can't do anything, let alone travel or work, right? How to be filial to parents, right? Or go out to eat a meal? If you don't have the energy to go, or hang out with friends, or do business, or whatever you do, can you do it, right?
So here, health is the number one priority. In the three things you listed, if it doesn't include health, you don't do anything related to health. How do we treat this thing that all of humanity recognizes as the number one priority?
Today's lesson that I want to send to you is the topic of understanding health, and this is a very important and interesting topic. I really hope you will listen to this whole lecture.
So, how do you define health? Some of you think that a healthy person is someone who is not sick at all, right? No need to go to the hospital, no need to worry about medicine or illness. That's the definition of health for most of us.
However, according to the World Health Organization, there is a definition of health as follows: health is a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being. So, there are three factors to define health.
We have a healthy body without illness, which is physical. That is very true. However, mental health also determines our physical condition, our quality of life, and especially social health. It's about whether we have teams, whether we have community, whether we go out into the world, do we feel happy, do we want to be an active person having relationships outside your community? That is social health.
We can help our community. Why do we need social health? What is the first thing? Successful people must have good health. We have many dreams, and what is the saying? If we have health, we have thousands of wishes, but when we don't have health, we have thousands of wishes. If we have health, we only have one wish, which is health.
And successful people want to fulfill those dreams, so we must have good health. The ancients taught us, right? People without health cannot do great things. Your limited beliefs will be confined within the limited beliefs about your health.
In our minds, we can only think about what to do, what sickness, what health, what weather, what illness, what medicine, what going to the toilet, this and that, right? Our whole world is too narrow in terms of our vision and thinking. But when you have health, your faith inside is so strong, and your vision for your future is so big, and you have the ability to do what you want.
Because people say, just give me health and time, I can do everything that I want. When I know clearly what my goal is, then surely with just health and time, you can do it.
Talking about health, we talk about factors. First of all, it is the spirit. An optimistic spirit in a healthy body is a person with good health. So the attitude throughout life that we need to aim for is to cherish, be grateful, be tolerant, and be happy.
There are many friends who tell me that their mental health has problems with overthinking or is often stressed. Some of them are often depressed, and some of them often fall into a state of negative thinking and have no direction for their life. As long as our spirit is in such a state, it means we are an unhealthy person.
So, to have health, we must always maintain a state of appreciation and gratitude. You know, appreciation and gratitude is a high and super high energy frequency. It helps us balance the state of being in that frequency, your inner vibrational frequency.
When you bring your inner vibrational frequency back to appreciating and being grateful for what you have, be present with it, and not take it for granted anymore, you appreciate everything others do for you. You will raise your frequency of tolerance.
Second, be tolerant of others. In this life, we will meet people who hurt us. We are not happy, but if we do not tolerate others, then we will make our inner state go in a negative direction and become more and more negative. Tolerance for others is also a way to save our life, my children.
Next, it is happiness and appreciation. Now, we should not live in the past, suffer from the past, or think too much about the future, but cherish our present with all our hearts.
The present and happy mind, forever 20 years old, is something that I am extremely concerned about. This year, you guys are 18, 20, there are more people, right? So let's keep for ourselves a mind that is forever 20 years old.
Twenty is enthusiasm; it is daring to challenge yourself, discovering new things, conquering goals, and burning out with age. No matter how old I am in terms of numerology, I always keep the mentality of a 20-year-old. I always believe that with a 20-year-old mentality, I accept life.
This is a very wonderful way that is enthusiasm, conquering challenges, and living with the state of youthful and fresh energy.
Now, our health will lead us to another topic, which is lifestyle. One lifestyle that I'm extremely worried about for students is the habit of sleeping late and staying up late. Vietnamese people like to live late. Is this American time, right? When everyone else is sleeping, we are awake. When everyone else is awake, we go to sleep.
Sleeping day and night, however, you are damaging your body and mind. According to scientists, we need to go to bed early and wake up early because staying up late creates very dangerous things for our brain and body.
We know that from the time 11:00 PM to 3:00 AM is called the brain's curfew. Our brain needs to regenerate energy and rest after a hard day's work. But if we continue to make the brain work after 11:00 PM, it will cause damage to your brain, leading to poor memory, decreased learning, low energy, irritability, and especially depression.
When I met some students who said they were having psychological problems and depression, I asked them if they had a habit of staying up late. Out of 100 students, they all answered that they often stay up late and sleep during the day, and that is very dangerous to our brains, guys.
Next are the diseases that we can get when we stay up late. Many students have stomach aches, thickening of the liver, looking very weak, lacking energy, and learning ability is reduced by 30%. According to experts, if I get a 10 in that subject, I only have 7 points left. If I get a B, I'm lucky, I only have 4 years left, right?
So if my learning ability is reduced, why do I have to study? What do you do at those times after 10:00 PM? People say that is the time of rejuvenation of the skin. At that time, you need to rest, or else you will get acne, dark spots, and dark circles under the eyes that greatly affect your appearance.
On the contrary, from 4:00 to 6:00 AM is the golden time for studying. Researchers say that at this time, our brain is most creative, most focused, and eight times more productive. This means that one hour of studying at this time is equal to eight hours of studying at any other time.
Because our brain works very productively and remembers very well, that is a wonderful thing. People also see that from 4:00 to 6:00 AM is when cosmic energy is highest. So why don't we spend this time to practice the habit of waking up early?
Do you know that the people who design works of art or beautiful graphic products are all created between 4:00 and 6:00 AM? Even literary works, business ideas, or programming ideas, any process, right? It all starts from the moment people begin at the dawn of a day because that is when our brain is most creative.
So instead of staying up all night, we should take time to wake up early so that our brains can enjoy the best time of the day. Many of you told me that you find working at night more effective, but you're not used to it during the day. It has created a habit, so you think like that.
But in fact, the truth is that we humans are born with the genes of an animal. Day is for work and study, night is for rest. Let's go back to the ancient times of our ancestors when we lived in caves. When the sun rose, they started to wake up and go hunting.
They brought achievements for the family, and when the sun went down, they returned to their cave to eat and sleep. Later, people started to have electricity and the internet, and then they began to have a nocturnal lifestyle. People are more damaged by the lifestyle called the city that never sleeps, right?
Or is it the experience of living at night like that, and gradually people create a new habit? As for nature, let's live only by being true to human nature so we can preserve the most creative and intelligent energy of our species.
The way to help children go to bed early is to spend time during the day to solve your homework and deadlines. When you go to bed, you should limit the use of smartphones because the phone can be a very distracting thing.
When we grow up, if we can't sleep, then read a book, and you will fall asleep immediately. We will move on to the next topic, which is about nutrition.
So, about balanced nutrition, let's talk about eating, right? Let's practice the habit of eating slowly and chewing thoroughly, which is different from eating for a long time. Eating slowly and chewing thoroughly means we will chew a lot, a little bit.
First, 20 to 30 times to let the yeast, gastric juice, and enzymes be secreted. Then our stomach will have much less digestive burden. Second, we should limit eating sweets and red meat because it can cause obesity, heart disease, and cancer.
We should prioritize eating more plant foods. There is a very famous saying that the future of meat is vegetables. It can also be seen that people must begin to look for ways to eat more plant-based foods, more vegetables, and fruits, which will ensure our health better.
On the screen, children also see the very famous billionaire, Brian Johnson, the American technology billionaire. He paid millions of dollars to hire a doctor to give him a healthy and strong body like a 50-year-old at 20.
You know that when consulting him, America's top doctors prescribed him a completely vegan, completely plant-based diet. Speaking of drinks, we should avoid drinks that are sweet and carbonated, for example, Coca-Cola.
You can see here that when we drink a lot of Coca-Cola, our teeth will turn yellow, and our skin will age very quickly. Especially in Coca-Cola, it has a lot of cleaning agents. If you can put a little Coca-Cola to clean the toilet, it will be clean, no different from the cleaning agents we use every day.
So we should use filtered water and plain water to make our body healthier. Drink enough water at the right time. According to researchers, they show that the amount of water you need to drink will be calculated as follows: 10 kg of body weight is equal to 400 ml.
So you will calculate your weight to find out the amount of water you need to drink per day. Especially in the morning when you wake up, drink a glass of water with a few grains of salt in it, and absolutely do not brush your teeth before that.
At that time, you must drink water immediately to keep your gastric juices. People compare that cup of light salt water to the ginseng cup that we are creating for our bodies.
