And right after this, I will talk about another content that I really like, which is the Personality Triangle. This is our core personality based on three factors, my friends: ethics, intelligence, and reason. A person who wants to be successful and happy needs all three of these elements. If one of the three is missing, we cannot succeed.
The first is morality. Here we are talking about love, gratitude, forgiveness, tolerance, and concern for others. The second is intelligence. Intelligence here means we are talking about the desire to learn, to cultivate knowledge, to be curious. Every day, what is the willpower here? It is discipline, the strength, and determination to overcome difficulties.
So let's see what you are lacking in these three factors. Students, I see that they go to school very well and they are very good. However, they are people who do not like to study and do not improve their knowledge, and gradually, oh, your intelligence is getting worse and worse, and your willpower is also low. So in life, you will see that there are good people, but they are not successful and still struggle with life, right?
There are many. And there are also people who, what you will see in life, they also have very good intelligence and very strong will to create very developed businesses, but their ethics reach a certain stage. The company does illegal business, evades taxes, or makes poor quality products. Then after a while, their business will also be ruined. And there are even people who still have to go to jail.
So here, you guys remember that we have to develop ourselves in all three areas of ethics, intelligence, and willpower so that our happiness and success will be sustainable.
On the screen, I am seeing extremely meaningful sayings in life that somewhere I have seen, and I also really, really appreciate the teachings of the ancients before. The saying I like the most is, what is the most admirable thing in life? It is the will to rise up. We are talking about the willpower box, right? I love our willpower.
Do you dare to do things that I never dared to do before, right? I overcame my comfort zone, I rose up, and overcame difficulties. Willpower here is nothing big for students. Do you dare to give up cigarettes? Don't dare to give up useless pleasures like playing games all night long or ice cream? Dare to be anything. Sit in class from start to finish and not miss a single class. That's what people call determination.
It's determination that means you have to do things outside of your comfort zone. It will feel uncomfortable; it will feel a bit difficult for yourself in the beginning, but it creates wonderful habits for children. So the will to rise up is extremely important to each of us.
A second sentence that I also really care about is, what is that? The greatest sin in life is unfilial piety. After hearing this sentence, we must all think about it, right? When we were young, we may have poor perception. We can still make our parents sad; we can make our parents disappointed about our lives. We say things that are not good, but at this point, we are adults.
So remember that if we make our parents sad, we will commit the crime of being unfilial. And there is a rule of life like this: children who are often filial to their parents usually have a very successful and happy life. But children who do nothing to make their parents sad and are unfilial to them often have a very miserable and unhappy life.
There is no one who is indifferent to parents who are honored and praised by society. I also often read books about successful people, and I found something very interesting. When reading the biography of successful people, billionaires in Vietnam or the world, I see that they have one thing in common that is worth learning, which is that they are all extremely filial children to their parents.
Do you know? Family is the truest test to know how moral a person is because out there, you can be very good to your friends, colleagues, and other people around, but with family, how you treat them is the place where we show our truest nature.
Because that is the safest place and where you show your true self the most. Family is the place that loves us unconditionally. There is a saying that we have thousands of places to go, but we only have one place to return to, that is home. Home is the place where we can be ourselves and love us unconditionally.
The next content that I see on the screen is the wheel of life. In class, you will practice this exercise, and it is very interesting. I will just give a brief introduction to the wheel of life. It shows our life at this moment in eight areas of life. How is it? We will give it a score from 0 to 10 to express what is my current result. If it is good, then it is a high score, but if it is not good, then it is a low score.
So what is the wheel of my life like? What shape is it? Distorted or is it round and beautiful? The question for you guys is, what are we getting at this moment in this wheel? Is life fair to us or not? In my class, some people say it is fair, some people say it is unfair.
The answer is, what is life fair to us? Praise you. What we are getting is fair to us. To say more harshly, what you are getting today is because you deserve it. You deserve it because who created this wheel? Who is the owner of this wheel? That is, we ourselves created that wheel.
Today, I will share with you a mindset that only with this mindset can you upgrade your wheel. Because if not with this mindset, your wheel will remain the same; it won't change at all. What is that mindset? We call it the outstanding mindset of successful and happy people, and that mindset is: I am completely and absolutely 100% responsible for what has happened and will happen in my life.
Look at this sentence in black. It's very simple, but it's very meaningful. I take responsibility 100%. So when I take 100% responsibility, what will I be? Seeing that all problems come from me, I am the center of all problems. And I am the one who created everything.
So when we take responsibility, what behavior will we have? Learn lessons and change. That's what's important. How the past may have turned out, but I also take responsibility. I am responsible for learning my lesson, and I change for the better of my present, and that means I have grown up.
Because when you are responsible, you will learn your lesson. When you learn your lesson, then you grow up. And when you don't learn the lesson, what happens? Because when you don't take responsibility, you don't learn the lesson. The problem is still there, and you don't learn the lesson means you haven't graduated from the world school.
You are no good. Career, you learn again. The problem comes to you in a way that is even harder to solve than the previous problems. And that is the mindset of successful people: take responsibility to learn the lesson.
Then the opposite of the mindset of a successful person is the mindset of a loser. What is the mindset of a loser? They blame circumstances, make excuses, and always criticize, judge, and complain. So they refuse to change and do not learn the lesson of being afraid of change, and they always see themselves as the victim of every problem.
Meaning that every problem comes from the outside; it is not me. I am not responsible for anything. And when you think you are a victim, then you have lost. You have not learned your lesson. You are a person who cannot overcome the challenges of life.
All the problems of life still come to us. Everyone will have problems. You have to solve your life problem. You have to take responsibility and solve it. Then you can graduate.
Today, I have shared with you a lot of content about self-awareness. Before ending today's lesson, I would like to give you a quote: we do not choose where we are born, but we can choose how we will live.
Let's do it so that we can become the best version of our lives and upgrade ourselves every day. Wish you success. Thank you for listening to today's lesson. See you again in the next lessons.
