Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds, abundant, good, and blessed praise, as our Lord, Blessed and Exalted be He, loves and is pleased with. O God, to You is praise; we cannot count Your praises. You are as You have praised Yourself. O God, bless and grant peace and blessings upon Your servant and Messenger Muhammad.

Welcome, young people. May God keep you company. This meeting and this lesson are among the most important lessons that can be... You take it, and this topic is related to the path of worship of man throughout his life. Therefore, I mean, give me your focus to the furthest extent, and let us all improve our intentions in receiving this speech. Perhaps God Almighty will benefit us from it.

We have agreed, okay? Or have you come across the hadith of Jundub, may God Almighty be pleased with him, when he said, “We were…” Our boys were asking the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, if anyone knew the hadith. Yes, we learned what? We learned faith before we learned the Qur’an. Then we learned the Qur’an. So what increased our faith with it?

Notice now that this is one of the companions talking about what the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to do with the rising generation because… He said we were young boys who had almost reached puberty, meaning the rising generation. In today’s terminology, what did they learn from the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace? He said, “We learned faith.”

Well, has it not occurred to any of you to ask, “What is the faith that is learned?” I mean, the Qur’an is known, the religious sciences are known, but what is the faith that is learned? What is the faith that is learned? He says to you, “So we learned faith,” meaning from… The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. Today, the title of the meeting or the title of our meeting for today is “We learned faith” or “We learned.”

Except today, I will talk to you about this faith that the young man should be raised on so that he receives the Qur’an with a believing heart because not everyone benefits from this Qur’an. Not everyone benefits from the Qur’an. Whoever has a heart ready to benefit from the Qur’an will benefit from it.

Whoever brings me evidence from the Qur’an that not everyone benefits from the Qur’an, that there are some characteristics that whoever has them will benefit from the Qur’an. Whoever reads to us the beginning of Surat Al-Baqarah, that is the Book about which there is no doubt. Guidance for those who fear Allah. Did you notice? Who are the righteous who believe in the unseen and establish prayer?

It means that the Qur’an guides people with a specific characteristic who benefit from the Qur’an. Okay, you only warn those who fear their Lord in secret. True, he will remind those who fear, and so on. One of the verses that indicate that the Qur’an only benefits people with specific characteristics. And none remembers except those who turn back.

So today we will learn a group of characteristics. And among the deeds, God willing, are those that are under the name of faith, and whoever embodies them and is characterized by them will continue and benefit from the Sunnah and benefit from prayer and benefit from the types of worship. God Almighty willing, he will have taken a path that will lead him to Paradise.

That is, whoever wants a path that will lead him to Paradise, let him adhere to these truths of faith that I will discuss today because it is the foundation of the religion completely. There is a big difference between someone who reads the Qur’an and memorizes it and his heart has absorbed these religious meanings of faith and someone who reads the Qur’an and his heart has not absorbed these meanings of faith.

The matters are clear and completely understood. Okay, I will talk to you about four meanings only, four of them, each meaning is from the foundations of faith. I will tell you about four meanings, each meaning is one of the foundations of faith. Learning these four meanings, I hope, is included in the saying of Jundub, may God be pleased with him, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace: “We learned faith, we learned faith.”

This faith that the Companions learned in the school of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, means part of… The most important thing that goes into it, otherwise faith has a wide branch. Okay, the first matter of faith that should be learned and that means that it should be established in the souls, and that you should be careful, you are a young man now from the generation, be careful that these four truths are established in you.

The first matter of them is that you get to know God and learn who your Creator is. You get to know this Creator who created you. You are now present in this life, present in this world. Your existence in this worldly life is something that is seen and felt. You see and know that you exist, then you know that God Almighty is the One who created you because your father did not create you, did not create you, did not create you, and your mother did not bring you into existence.

The doctor is not the one who created you, and there is no one in this world who created you, and no one can create a fly, let alone create a human being, no matter how small. In his mother’s womb, then he began to grow little by little until he became, God willing, a moustache and a beard. And, God willing, he became a big man. And the same is true for women. After a while, you become a mother.

Okay, this great Creator who created you, you must get to know Him. Who is this Creator? You must get to know His names, His attributes, His majesty, and His greatness. This recognition and knowledge of God is the most honorable knowledge that you can learn. Have you seen engineering, medicine, technology, and even the specialized Islamic sciences, for example, the terminology of hadith, or even the Arabic language?

There is no knowledge more honorable than knowledge of God Almighty. The most honorable knowledge is to get to know God Almighty, and the evidence for that is that... This is the most honorable of sciences and the most sublime of meanings. The evidence for this is that we answer the following question: What is the greatest surah in the Qur’an? What is the greatest verse in the Qur’an? Ayat al-Kursi is correct.

Okay, what is Ayat al-Kursi? What is its subject? Talking about God. Okay, you ask the following question: Why was Ayat al-Kursi the greatest verse in the Book? God, because it contains talk about God. The result is that talking about God is the most honorable thing that can be talked about and the most honorable of truths.

The second question that confirms this truth for you. What is the surah that is equal to a third of the Qur’an? Say, “He is God, the One.” Say, “He is God, the One.” What is in it that talks about God? Say, “He is God, the One.” God, the Eternal Refuge. He neither begets nor is born, nor is there to Him any equivalent.

Maybe if someone asked you before, you would not know this information, and it is true from the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him, if he asked you what is the surah that is equal to a third of the Qur’an, try to think like that. You don’t have the information. You could say Al-Baqarah because it is a long surah and it contains many topics. Right?

You could think, by Allah, of something else. Imagine. By the way, the authentic hadith is that the Prophet, may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him, said to his companions, “Gather, gather, gather.” He said, “Gather.” I want to recite to you a third of the Qur’an. The companions gathered and loved the Qur’an. That is, the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, was going to recite to them how many parts? Ten parts.

The companions gathered. With this meaning, the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, went out and recited: “Say, He is God, the One. God, the Eternal Refuge. He neither begets nor is born, nor does He have any partner.” They stopped someone and then entered his house. When he entered his house, the companions thought that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, had remembered something or was busy with something, so he entered the house.

That is, they... Now they are ready. He still wants to hear what a third of the Qur’an is. The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, told them that this surah is equal to a third of the Qur’an. Amazing. So what is in this surah that talks about God? From these two proofs, you must realize the honor of talking about God and that the greatest of knowledge is knowledge of God, glory be to Him.

And come on, when we say knowledge of God, the first thing to remember is that He is your Lord and Creator. That is, you are not now getting to know something distant. You are getting to know the One who created you, the One who formed you, the One who gave you life, then caused you to die, then will give life.

So speaking about God, glory be to Him, the Most High, is the basis of the sciences, the basis of the truths, and the most honorable meanings that should be... That a person should base it on good. If someone were to say, how, how do we attain this knowledge? How do we know the attributes of God Almighty? How do we get to know God?

This is beautiful from the Qur’an. The Qur’an, where do we find in it talk about God? Every verse on every page of the Qur’an is like talk about God. So if you read the Qur’an... Read the Qur’an and concentrate. You want to know your God and Creator, glory be to Him.

Okay, please, young men. The rising generation, even those who will see us after that, whether male or female, from the rising generation, focus while you recite Surat Al-Fatihah every day in every rak’ah. Focus when you say, “Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.” Do not recite it like this. Recite it as a servant speaks with his master, with his Lord, getting to know Him.

The Owner of the Day of Judgment acknowledges Him, and after you speak about God, you acknowledge and say, “You alone do we worship and You alone do we ask for help,” and you say it in prayer. Do not say it as a recitation. Whoever wants to finish the obligatory duty should do what is required of him. Do not recite it as a recitation of someone who is addressing God Almighty because it has been proven from the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace.

In the authentic hadith, it is stated that God Almighty responds to the servant if he recites Al-Fatihah. If you want God Almighty to respond to your supplication and confession, then let your presence and heart be the basis while you recite, isn’t that right? Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds. What does God say? Praise be to My servant, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. My servant, Malik, has praised Me on the Day of… Religion glorified me, my servant.

Okay, so how do we get to know God? The most important way to get to know God is to get to know God through His book, but through His book, which is reading. Whoever contemplates it will know who God Almighty is. Excellent, completely clear.

Okay, the second way to know God Almighty is to contemplate, to contemplate the greatness of God. By way of or by way of His creatures, you agree within yourself first. Think of yourself first, guys. Now, now, if a new device came to us, invented by one of the greatest technical companies in the world, that talks, jumps, flies, does and produces food, produces I don’t know what it does, and it does things that are destructive.

We all gather around it, contemplate, and open up to see what the idea is. Who made it, when did they make it, and so on, and we wonder. Then, if the company itself came, it would praise itself endlessly for being able to invent this device. It is true that there is no device in the world that is more amazing and great than the creation of man.

But the problem is that man often neglects to think. In this sense, in the heavens, there are youths among you who have not looked for a long time. To the sky at night and contemplate the stars like this without lights without anything. Is there any one of you who hasn’t looked for a long time? Right? Is there any one of you who has tried to go out for a trip, for example, or when he was in a place far from the lights, he saw the sky at night and this sky was great?

What are the stars that… In it and so on, this, this affects the soul a lot when you think about what this greatness and majesty is, this, and also in animals, in creatures, and you think about you now, every day you eat eggs in the morning, perfect, and then you might eat chicken or meat, this, this, how it became, how it became suitable for us and for our obesity, whether in terms of benefit or taste or how did it become like this?

Who created it? We came to earth by chance. Glory be to God. There were eggs that are beneficial to the body, chicken that is beneficial, meat that is important, and these vegetables and all of these. Where did this come from? God Almighty is the one who created it. He is the one who subjected it. It must be understood this meaning, this is all the reason, what is the second reason, what is in what, yes, in getting to know God Almighty.

God Almighty and the Most High condemns those who see these signs and then do not think about them or believe. So the Most High said, and focus with me well on this evidence. What does “there” mean? What does this mean? Yes, and how much? What does it mean? Increase. And what is in the heavens and the earth that they pass over? And what is it that they are far from? They are turning away from what is in the heavens and the earth. They pass by it, but they are turning away from it.

So do not be like them. God Almighty said, “And We have made the sky a protected ceiling.” He said, “And they are turning away from its signs.” The sky contains signs, and God describes to us people who turn away from these signs. So we get to know God by contemplating His creations, whether… In the soul or in the horizons.

We will show them Our signs in the horizons and within themselves until it becomes clear to them that it is the truth. Until it becomes clear to them that it is the truth. Okay, this great truth of the truths of faith, which is knowledge of God, affects the rest of the truths that I will mention to you. I told you how many truths of faith there are. I will mention four truths or four facts of faith, a major belief.

This first truth is the influence or foundation upon which other truths are built. Upon which other truths are built. Okay, are we ready to move on to the second truth? The first is clear now. Okay, the second truth that we must believe in and be raised on and remember and develop. Remember and teach us faith. Here it is faith in the Prophet. May God bless him and grant him peace.

Always remember that this noble Prophet is the Messenger of God and he was sent to us and to all people, and that what he brought of religion and guidance, whether the work he did or what he conveyed, is the most perfect guidance, the most perfect guidance. This means that there is no method, path, or means. It is better and more perfect than the guidance of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and what he brought is the belief that he is the role model that must be followed, the belief that he is the Messenger of God and the Seal of the Prophets.

This belief in the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, is one of the greatest truths of faith that we must remind ourselves of, and this is, of course, what will lead us towards the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, to love, and love will lead us to what? Following is faith, then love, then following.

So the belief that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, is the one who brought the most perfect guidance, and that the true inheritance that should be taken care of is his inheritance, may God bless him and grant him peace. Okay, as we talked about in the first means, how do we achieve the first means? We said by reading the Qur’an and contemplating the texts of the names and the attributes, and talking about God, and also thinking about the creatures.

Now the question is, this second faith-based truth, how do we achieve it? Yes, the first thing is to look at the biography of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and pay attention to it. And when you read the biography of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, remember several matters. The first matter is that you read the best biography. The second matter is that the guidance mentioned in this biography is the most perfect guidance.

This is the most perfect guidance. The third matter is that you read the biography of your role model, the biography of the one you follow, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him. Okay, this is the first matter. The second matter is yes, knowledge of his Sunnah through the hadiths. The scholars used to take care of the scholars taking care of the upbringing.

This rising generation is long gone by memorizing the prophetic hadiths, not all hadiths, but there are specific hadiths that the rising generation should be raised on well. Praise be to God, there is more than one book that a person can learn about these hadiths, including, for example, the book of the Forty Nawawis, which is one of the famous books that students should take care of.

I have collected a book. Its name is Al-Minhaj min Mi’rat Al-Nubuwwah, and I compiled it. I took into consideration the youth of the rising generation in the context of developing their faith. I chose 170 hadiths from the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. I invite you to pay attention to these hadiths, as they are among those that achieve this second faith-based truth.

Excellent, now we will come to the third point, which is more comprehensive in terms of details. Focus with me on the third faith-based truth that we must take care of, that we must take care of, be raised on, and establish in our souls, which is servitude to God Almighty. Servitude to God Almighty.

Servitude comes after what? After what exactly? That means after nothing. There is a point that we mentioned. No, after knowing God, after knowing God, servitude comes after knowing God Almighty. Okay now, what is the key by which a person enters Islam and enters Paradise? There is no god but God. Correct. There is no god but God. I bear witness that there is no god but God and I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of God.

Okay, if you noticed. The truth is that the two previous truths are related to “There is no god but God” and related to “Muhammad is the Messenger of God,” but “There is no god but God” is not completed by the first truth alone, which is “knowledge of God,” but rather is completed by the truth together, which is “knowledge of God” and “number three,” which is servitude to Him, glory be to Him.

Do you understand or not? Okay, what is it? Slavery to God Almighty is doing what He has commanded and doing well what He has commanded and leaving what He has forbidden. What is this? This is great. This is very beautiful. This is the basis of servitude. Sincerity is important. Setting oneself up and acknowledging what He has described Himself with is beautiful. Fasting is beautiful from servitude. Correct the connection with the connection with God Almighty.

Okay, the basis of slavery, young men. The basis of slavery is surrender, obedience, and submission to God. Glory be to Him, submission and obedience. Obedience means that you see submission is now when it is on a specific path that God mentions to us and specific truths that God commands us with when your heart is prepared to respond to God’s command and walk on God’s path and set out on this path.

This submission, this submission, is that a person submits to God in His commands. And in His judgment and destiny, he surrenders and submits. This is the reality of servitude to God, submission and humility. This is submission and humility with desire and love for God Almighty. These facts, taken together, constitute servitude.

Good, therefore, I will mention these matters in several points of servitude. The first point: servitude is based on knowledge of God. Its basis is knowledge of God. Good, this knowledge. By God, it leads to a person worshipping his Lord, glory be to Him, so knowledge of God leads to love. True, you do not love. You cannot love God before you get to know Him.

This love for God, you see, is one of the greatest forms of servitude to Him. Do not think, young people, that servitude is merely performing practical duties. The place for servitude is where is the basic? In the heart, then after that the heart commands the limbs to respond to the requirements of what is in the heart of the meanings of faith, meaning that you love God Almighty, then you find that God commands you to do a specific thing.

If you do not do this thing, then this means that there is a defect, and where is the defect in the love? You disobey God and you claim to love Him. This is impossible in analogy is wonderful or this Omari in analogy is wonderful. Okay, and love, excuse me, and knowledge. Look, knowledge of God, what is its result? We said one, what is the pain? And love is from servitude.

Okay, knowledge of God also leads to another result other than love, which is from servitude. What is the fear and dread of God? Knowledge of God leads to fear of Him. Fear is one of the most important meanings of servitude. What is the evidence that knowledge leads to fear? Only the scholars among God’s servants fear God. Scholars are the ones who fear God.

So knowledge leads to fear. Okay, fear is one of the most important forms of servitude. What does fear lead to? It is good to surrender, but there is something clear like this. This is humiliation and defeat. You did well. Fear leads to humiliation. And the brokenness is because you know who God is, you know who God is with His greatness, majesty, pride, and glory.

I mean, young people, now when you contemplate the creations and see that they are something amazing, the heavens, the stars, these that are in front of you, there is something amazing in the greatness and the space of this enormous universe. You know that this universe, these heavens, there will be folded in the right hand of God. Glory be to Him, the Most High, on the Day of Resurrection.

And what God has decreed is His true decree. And the entire earth will be in His grip on the Day of Resurrection. And the heavens will be folded in the right hand of the heavens. Not the earth. That means the earth was of course grasped. But what is the earth in front of the heavens? The heavens are a great thing. That is a great matter.

These heavens, with all that is in them of heaven. And you know the closest star to us outside the group. The solar system, how far is the nearest star? Let's look at the distance. The nearest star is very close, that is, in the neighborhood next to this, 2 million, what is it? Kilometers? No, the nearest, the nearest star to us is four light years, four light years, four light years.

Do you know how much? I mean, the distance that light travels in four light years, how much? It travels approximately 300,000 kilometers per second. The second one after it, how much does it cover? 300 kilometers. The second one after it, how many kilometers? 30 thousand kilometers. 300 thousand kilometers. It traveled. It traveled 60,300 thousand kilometers.

Good. This is in one minute. So, how far is the sun from us? How far is the sun from us? The sun is only eight light minutes. Eight minutes, meaning the light from here to the sun it takes exactly eight minutes, but as for the stars, the closest star to us takes four years for 300,000 then 300,000 then 300,000 600 times to make a minute and then 60 to make an hour and then 24 to make a day and then 30 to make a month and then 354 to make a year and then four times to make four years for this to reach the nearest star.

This is the closest, but the other stars are much, much, much farther away. This is all the stars in our galaxy. If you go out to the other galaxies, and the universe contains millions of other galaxies other than our galaxy, then you are talking about very enormous distances. All of this, all of this, God Almighty. And God folds it on the Day of Resurrection, by right, God is great.

When you get to know God in the way that I mentioned, you will know that God Almighty deserves to be feared. When you fear God, what does this lead to? First, we said, well done. It leads to humility and submission. This is one, this is one, and this is from what? From the basis of servitude.

Okay, also fear. It leads to a second result. What is it? It is fear. No, it is piety and fear. There is a difference between them, but we will compare them. We said that the first result is roughness and brokenness. There is a second result for humility other than closeness and love. One of the most important effects of piety is piety, which is what is abandoning sins and transgressions?

Staying away from, meaning whoever wants to abandon sins. And sins, their main path is what is fear? And whoever wants to attain fear, their main path is knowledge of God, knowledge of God. No, all of these are slavery. Fear is slavery, love is slavery, humiliation is slavery. All of these are slavery, but what is the basis of slavery?

What does knowledge lead to? The first thing we said leads to what? Love. This is the first thing. Okay, love. Did we say leads to what or did we not say? To work, to submission. Okay, record it, but excuse me. Record one of the most important acts of… Slavery that results from love, which is an honorable act of the most honorable types of slavery, is called repentance.

Repentance is one of the most important results of what is love. Okay, let’s go back again. Knowledge leads to love. Love leads to what, Maher? Love leads to what? Aren’t you focused on me? Repentance. Okay, this is one. Knowledge leads to what? Two things: Knowledge leads to fear. Fear leads to two things: humiliation and brokenness on the one hand, and on the other hand, piety, which is what are the precautions and refraining from sins and transgressions.

Well, you noticed how much knowledge of God is honorable and leads to all these actions. Okay, also, young people, knowledge of God leads to something other than love and fear. A very great matter of the great acts of worship, meaning glorification. Glorification is one of the most important things that result from fear and one of the most important things...

Knowledge also produces true, good, in another form of servitude, which is of course fear. It is originally from the core of glorification, what is certainty? Well done, then well done. What results from knowledge of God and knowledge of His religion and His law? Certainty, certainty, certainty. How many letters are in this word? How many letters? O Qaf, Ya, Nun, four.

You can say: These four letters are the greatest treasure that a person can obtain in this universe, in this world. Certainty is that a person lives with certainty in the truths of religion, with certainty that God is the Truth, his Creator, Provider, and Manager, with certainty that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, is the Truth, with certainty that the most honorable thing for which a person lives is servitude to God.

Believing in the hereafter and returning to God with certainty, then believing that God is with His friends, with those who are patient, with those who fear Him, with those who trust in Him, certainty that God is with him to carry His religion and His message. Okay, what results from certainty? We need a blackboard if you are lost or not following and focusing.

Who lost, who left? Right and left, who is fully focused and understands all the divisions? What we said is a good center. Let us say what certainty leads to. Then we will come back. Note, young men. Do not forget now the main title that we are going to talk about. Learning faith. We learn faith in these matters.

What is the goal? In the end, what is the goal? Like we said in the beginning, yes, so that we can benefit from the Qur’an and from acts of worship. Even if we open the Qur’an and recite the Qur’an, the verses of the Qur’an are revealed to the heart of a believer who worships God Almighty. Do you understand or not?

Good certainty leads to [music] What is certainty? One of the most important things that certainty leads to or produces is patience and trust. Patience and trust. You trust and rely on God when you are certain that God is true. And that God will be with you, so you become tense in the face of hardships, trials, and difficulties because you are certain that meeting God is true, that God’s reward is true, and that Paradise is true.

Isn’t that so? Look, you can be patient with small things now. One can be patient with small things now. It is easy, I mean, without great certainty. Right? But when the great hardships come… And the great trials, such as what happened to Pharaoh’s magicians, who threatened them with what he would cut off. Their hands and feet were opposite each other. What made them patient?

What is the evidence that their patience was certain? Okay, do you know what is the evidence that their patience was certain? The evidence is that they are the ones who changed. The only thing that changed is that they saw with their own eyes. The clear evidence that Moses is a messenger from God is when Moses’ staff ate their ropes and sticks, and they are the masters of magic, and they are the masters of its craft.

They knew with certainty that this is not magic, so the certainty is the rock upon which all kinds of temptations, desires, temptations, challenges, and trials are broken. And he who does not have the rock of certainty in his heart, any arrow directed at him will fall if the arrow is from a strong hand. The owner of the hand of his owner is a strong temptation that brings down a person immediately.

Therefore, we have seen young men who have committed apostasy, and we have seen young men who have not committed apostasy with their tongues, but in reality, he is living the life of someone who does not believe in the afterlife. So if you tell him to fear God, he does not care. He steals and drinks, etc., and he oppresses and transgresses and does not fulfill God’s right, neither prayer nor zakat. No fasting or anything.

If you ask him, he will say to you, “Praise be to God, I am a Muslim.” This certainty is the rock on which all kinds of challenges, trials, temptations, and desires are broken, as happened to those who were bewitched by Pharaoh. Okay, now all this talk is under the title of servitude to God, under the first point in servitude, which is what was it? No, knowledge of God.

Well done, the first point in… Slavery was what? The basis of slavery is knowledge of God. Its basis is that it leads to what comes after what comes after it. From the types of slavery, is it okay with us or unfortunately is it okay with us? Okay, the second matter, regarding the second point, regarding slavery, slavery, the second point, the place of slavery is the heart, its place is the foundation.

Not the only one, not the only one. Its basic location is what is the heart, and then the body and the tongue follow it in types, what are the types of servitude and actions that are part of servitude. Okay, if someone said, “I will destroy you,” the basis of servitude is the tongue, not the heart, as evidence that the first thing a person worships is his Lord, especially if… If he entered Islam, what is the pronunciation of the Shahada?

How can you say that it is the basis of slavery? The heart, although the first thing that enters a person into Islam is what I bear witness that there is no god but God and that Muhammad is the Messenger of God, so whoever answers this question or about this question will be among those who deserve to be hit in what? They said we believe with understanding and you did not believe.

Okay, I want evidence. Explain [music] Ha [music] Ha The Arabs said The Arabs said Our mother No, I want to clarify It doesn’t have to be half now I mean I understand the idea. Well, no, it’s not hypocrisy I’m not talking about hypocrisy I’m not talking about distance now because it is the same. I was the idea that the basis is the heart.

Then the heart is what affects the rest of the limbs, so the limbs are also affected by the actions of faith. Action is part of faith, not faith. You know, faith is saying with the tongue, believing in the heart, and doing with the limbs. The pillars are three, but the basis of these three is what is the heart?

Okay, I will tell you, what is the evidence that the basis is the heart? Even though the testimony is what brings people into Islam, do you know what the evidence is? Do you know what the evidence is? What is the name of this thing that we say brings people into Islam? What is its name? Certificate of testimony. What is a certificate?

You have never thought about the word certificate. Have you noticed? I mean, see, it is not just that, for example, I say, “I testify.” Now, when someone comes to you and says, “Come, by God, tell the truth. What did you see?” What did you witness? So you say, “I testify that such and such happened. I testify.” This is great. Right? What does it indicate? Something indicates something before the testimony.

What is certainty or what? Knowledge, knowledge, medicine. Come on, there is evidence in the Quran that links between the testimony and knowledge, which is what? Good. So know that there is no god but God. Well done. But there is also evidence: We bear witness only to what we have been taught. Only to what we have been taught.

Good. So when you say I bear witness that there is no god but God. It is not a word on the tongue. You bear witness. Do you know what it means to bear witness? By God, remember it when you say in the greetings I bear witness that there is no god but God. So, say it from the bottom of your heart. It is a testimony. You present it as a testimony and you say I bear witness that there is no god but God and I bear witness that… Muhammad is the Messenger of God.

You speak and you know what you are saying. Imagine, people, someone comes to the judge and says, “I testify that so-and-so did such-and-such.” He says it, “What is it?” So what happens? In prayer, we say, “I bear witness that there is no god but God, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and messenger. O God, bless Muhammad and Muhammad as he prayed.”

What happens? Say it calmly while you think about its meanings. “I bear witness that there is no god but God, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and messenger.” Okay, the second point? In the issue of slavery, what did we say about its primary location in the heart? Okay, that’s good, but here we are at this point that its foundation, in terms of location, is the heart.

Okay, we also write with it, and it is with the tongue and with quality. He said, “My heart is full of faith in God and with His love and with certainty. I have certainty, there is no doubt at all, but…” He doesn’t pray, he doesn’t pray. We tell him, what did you impose in one of the pillars of faith? What is the pillar of work?

Okay, the third point is in servitude to God Almighty. It seems that you have worked hard. You have worked hard, or [music] A little bit. Things are going well. Of course, this is not your first lesson. What? You haven’t… So we say in the name of God, haha, Maher Al-Awr, okay? But what did I mention to you now? I didn’t mention anything to you right now.

No, no. We haven’t finished with slavery yet. Before I leave slavery, I want to mention to you an important title that we can call the pillar of slavery. Slavery has pillars now. We said that faith is in what, what, what, in the heart, the limbs, and the tongue. Ok, we've finished it now.

Slavery to God in general has two pillars. It has two pillars. No, not fear. Hope. There are two pillars. They are summed up in a verse from Surat Al-Fatihah: You alone do we worship and You alone do we ask for help. What are the two pillars? What are the two pillars? Worship and seeking help.

Slavery to God consists of worship and seeking help. Okay, what is included in worship and what is included? In seeking help from detailed acts of worship, let us start with seeking help so that it is clearer. What is included in seeking help? Trust. Well done. Trust and supplication are correct.

When you supplicate to God, you want to ask Him for something. What is seeking help from Him? What is included in worship? Sincerity and repentance are among the most important things that fall under the title of worship. Repentance is good and love because there are verses in the Quran like the saying of God, You alone do we worship and You alone do we ask for help, but without this wording, like this meaning by mentioning worship that indicates worship, the beginning indicates seeking help.

What is the evidence? What is in it? Ha, and seek help through patience and prayer. Nice, ha, but it is not accurate, ha, no. Say, “He is my Lord. There is no god but He. Upon Him I have relied, and to Him I turn. I have relied.” This is what. You alone we ask for help. I turn to You alone we worship.

Good, so worship Him and put your trust in Him. So worship Him. This is You alone we worship and put your trust in Him. This is You alone we ask for help. Repentance is the constant return to God Almighty and turning to Him. I have a complete lecture on repentance called “The Heart.” Al-Muneeb, record it, Nour. He asked about repentance. I told him, “I have a full lecture about repentance called the repentant heart.

It is important that you watch it after this lecture. That is, after today’s subject, you must watch the repentant heart. It is a concept that is available on YouTube. It is available on my channel and is related to the meanings that I am talking about today, but I focused on…” Specifically, repentance, repentance, guys, is a secret of the great secrets of servitude, so you must pay attention to it.

Review this episode, guys. Ask them in the next meeting about the mandatory lecture, so that you can see who cared and who did not. Okay, the rest of the last topic, or the last truth of the four truths of faith that I will talk about today, I talked about First, what is the knowledge of God, then faith in His Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, then servitude?

There remains a fourth truth of the great truths of faith that the Companions learned in the school of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and which had an effect on their reception of the Qur’an and their understanding of it. This great truth is faith in the Last Day, faith in Heaven and Hell, faith in the meeting... God Almighty, the belief that we will be resurrected again, the belief in accountability, the belief in reward.

This belief is an important and solid foundation. You will not benefit greatly from the facts of religion and the Qur’an if you do not always recall this belief, and to the extent that the heart is empty of belief in the Last Day. As much as what, as much as a person distances himself from applying what God has commanded, have you seen the one who denies the religion?

So what is that one who drives away the orphan? Because he denies the religion. The religion, what is the punishment? Okay, young men, from the first time it was revealed, from the first time it was revealed to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, from The Meccan Surahs focused in these Meccan Surahs on belief in the Last Day, Heaven, Hell, torment, and reward, because these topics, which are true in themselves, are what make a person realize that he is not living in eternity now, he is living in a temporary life.

This life did not last for those before us and will not last for us. This age in which you are living now will not last for those who come after us. Those who came before you lived from the generation of your fathers. They were like you at this age, and the generation of your grandfathers were at a similar age to this one before, and their grandfathers, and their grandfathers’ grandfathers, and their grandfathers’ grandfathers’ grandfathers.

Now, go wherever you want on earth and you will see graves. Is it true that these graves have not begun? Thus, these graves are the end of a journey for people who lived, grew up, learned, and wanted to live a happy and contented life. They lived in different conditions, and in the end, what did they die of? Our certainty in God Almighty and in what He brought is that this death is not the end of the road, but death is the beginning of the afterlife journey, meaning a very short period that is not worth mentioning compared to what will come in the end.

For the youth who do not believe with a firm, certain faith and always remember the meeting with God in the Hereafter, and that God will ask about what he did in this worldly life, so he will be happy when he comes. Therefore, one of the greatest things that develops faith and benefits the heart in receiving the truths of the Qur’an is the belief that God will hold man accountable and that the servant will be resurrected again and will stand before God, and that the day on which we will be resurrected is a great day, the Day of…

A severe Day in which there is a great earthquake. The Day you will see it, every nursing mother will forget what she was nursing, and every pregnant woman will abort her pregnancy, and you will see the people as if they were drunk, but they are not drunk. Rather, the punishment of Allah is severe. And do not think that Allah is unaware of what the wrongdoers do. He only defers them until a Day on which eyes will stare [in horror], [while] they are rushing [in horror], with heads bowed down. Their glance will not return to them, and their hearts will be empty.

God Almighty and the Most High, from the greatness of that day, called it by many names. What are the names that God called it by in the Quran? For example, for that day, the Day of Loss. And warn them of the Day of Regret. And warn them of the Day of Affliction, when the hearts will be at the throats choking. And then to warn of the Day of Meeting. So when the Great Calamity comes, and when the Deafening Blast comes.

Okay, this is it. Names or titles, then contemplate how many scenes God mentioned of what will happen: “When the heaven is split open and obeys its Lord, and it is true. And when the earth is extended and casts out what is in it and becomes empty and obeys its Lord, and it is true.” And when the heaven is split open and when the stars are scattered and when the seas are blown forth and when the graves are scattered, a soul will know what it has put forward and what it has left behind.

And when the sun is rolled up and when… When the stars fall, when the mountains are set in motion, when the tithes are neglected, when the wild beasts are herded together, when the seas are set on fire, when the souls are paired, when the buried alive girl is asked for what sin she was killed, when the records are spread out, when the sky is scraped open, when Hell is set ablaze, when Paradise is brought near, every soul will know what [music] it has brought.

And God Almighty repeated. And He is exalted above that Day. Woe, that Day, to the deniers. Woe, that Day, to the deniers. Woe, that Day, to the deniers. This is the Day of Judgment. We will gather together the former peoples. So if you have a plan, then plan. Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

And before that, this is a Day when they will not speak, nor will permission be given to them to make excuses. Many verses in the Qur’an speak about the Last Day. From the scenes in Surat Al-Fajr: Nay, when the earth is pounded to powder, and your Lord comes with the angels, rank upon rank, and that Day Hell will be brought forth. These are all true matters and will happen.

And that Day Hell will be brought forth. Hell will come dragging from the angels something great and terrifying. On that Day, man will regret his negligence towards God. A soul will say, “O Regret for what was imposed on the side of God, and on that day he who followed what God commanded will be happy and pleased.

Youth, you see this religion that God wants us to follow in order to be saved by it, it is not a difficult religion in terms of the many details. The religion is basically these meanings that I am talking to you about today: servitude to God. Submission, humiliation, obedience, fear, piety, following, supplication, trust, and prayer, this is the basis of religion.

Then after that, you commit to these duties that God has commanded, and you perform them properly. If you pray, pray the prayer of one who loves his Lord, fears Him, and wants Him to guide him and make him steadfast. Do you understand, young people? One of the most important truths of faith that a person needs in order to benefit from the Book of God and religion, what is it? Or is it belief in the Last Day?

Well, the result of all this talk is the result of these four truths: knowledge of God and His religion, servitude, and the Last Day. The result of all this is that we come out with fruits, we come out with fruits. The first fruit, the first fruit is that the most important thing for which a person lives is to live to achieve servitude to God and to Him.

From his torment in the afterlife and to receive his reward in Paradise. This is the most important thing you live for. The second matter is that the greatest request or request that a person asks of his Lord is guidance to Him, that God guides you to Him, that He guides you to what He loves.

Therefore, what is the supplication that is obligatory upon us in every prayer? Guide us to the straight path. This is the most honorable. The most important supplication you can make in your life, when the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, recommended a supplication to Ali bin Abi Talib, he said to him, “Say what?” Say, “O God, guide me,” or say, “O God, guide me and make me steadfast.” This is in Sahih Muslim.

This is the second fruit. The third fruit that we get from all of this is the fruit of contemplation and reflection on the Book of God by bringing to mind… These facts of faith and this third fruit are the foundation with which I began this lesson, which is the words of Jundub, may God be pleased with him, when he said: We were young boys who taught stories before we learned the Qur’an.

Then we learned the Qur’an, so what increased our faith through it? The third fruit from this session, from this lesson, from this topic is: To change your view of the Qur’an, to benefit from the Qur’an as one learns from what God Almighty has revealed, to learn what God wants and be guided by this Qur’an.

The greatest achievement you can make towards the Qur’an, or your benefit from the Qur’an, the greatest achievement is not memorization or recitations. These are good and excellent things. The greatest fruit you can achieve from the Qur’an, if you are guided by it, if you are guided by it. Good because God sent down the Qur’an for us to be guided by it.

Alif, Lam, Meem. This is the Book about which there is no doubt. A guidance for the righteous. We will return again. A guidance for the righteous. When you remember, when you hear, the righteous, what do you remember? The servitude that we have taken and the basis of knowledge and what is correct?

Those who believe in the unseen, when you hear, believe in the unseen, what do you remember? Belief in the Last Day and establish Prayer, what do you remember? Practical servitude, right? And from what We have provided them, they spend. And those who believe in what has been revealed to you, this is belief in the unseen, and in what was revealed before you.

What do you remember? Also, belief in the Messenger, the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and in what was revealed to him, and in the Hereafter, they are certain. Those are upon guidance from their Lord. Look, those are upon guidance from their Lord. And those are the successful ones. Indeed, this Qur’an guides to that which is right.

So one of the greatest fruits that we gain from these great truths of faith is that we read the Qur’an as someone who wants to be guided by it, not as someone who… His greatest wish is to get a license in the Qur’an and not reading. One of my greatest wishes is for him to graduate as a memorizer only.

These are honorable goals, but they are not the most honorable and highest. This is not the case. I mean, if we were to consider two cases now, one completed memorizing the Qur’an and took readings and has a license, it is good, but what he achieved is that he became a skilled reader with a beautiful voice.

In the other Qur’an, he did not memorize the entire Qur’an until he died. He only memorized ten parts, but if he read the Qur’an, he read it. Whoever wants to be guided by this Qur’an, which is better? Second, notice that we first did not say a hypocrite or anything, he is an ordinary person, but his focus was always on how to recite the Qur’an.

How to read it correctly, how so and so on, okay? If the greatest fruit is guidance by the Qur’an, how many fruits are there for you, so let’s suffice with this now, young men. Let’s consider that we have taken the subject from its edges to some extent by mentioning the great truths of faith and the details related to them and by mentioning the fruits resulting from them, no.

There is still a lot of talk on the subject. At least because the subject is big and it is the basis of the religion on which the young Muslim person is raised. There is still more to be said, but I ask God to bless us in this little that we have taken and to benefit us from it.

I advise you, young people, to raise your spirits and look to the higher horizons, and you, young people... The youth of the rising generation, that means you are afflicted in this period of time in which you live, you are afflicted with the abundance of trivialities around you, the abundance of sins and transgressions, and the abundance of temptations.

And the one who adheres to his religion and adheres to the command of God Almighty and worships God Almighty and humbles himself before Him and thanks Him for His blessings, the blessing of guidance is the greatest thing, then the other blessings. You must have good thoughts about God, that whoever does that, God will thank him for his efforts.

God will thank him for his efforts. My effort, people. You must see that the result of knowledge of God. We said first of all knowledge of God. Right? You see, the result of knowledge of God is that you know that God is Merciful and that God is Appreciative and that God... Generous and God is the best of God Almighty and the Most High means that when we get to know God, the result is not only that fear, fear is one of the greatest results of knowing God, but one of the results of knowing God is what love, love, and having good thoughts about God Almighty.

Therefore, young people, you need to be patient in the face of these trials, and whoever is patient and upright and is sincere to God, then there is no good news. You have to be happy, meaning you don’t feel deprived. On the contrary, be happy and be the happiest, meaning you should be the happiest person in life because God has enabled you to worship Him and to glorify His command.

At the same time, you should not look down on people, meaning when you are upright, you should not feel like you are the hero who has achieved everything and that all of these people do not understand and are stupid anyway. Despicable, no, no, on the contrary, you look at them with an eye of mercy and wish them the best that God Almighty has provided you with, even when you come, for example, to teach, call to, or denounce an evil, the intention is not only to establish an argument against others so that they enter Hell, no, but rather the intention of the person is to have mercy on them.

We have not sent you, but as a mercy to the worlds. One of the greatest Surahs of mercy indicating the path to Paradise and a warning against the path to Hell. Therefore, when the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, went to his Jewish neighbor who was on the verge of death, and this is an authentic hadith, immediately before he was keen to know whether there was a cure or whether there was something more important now if he was going to die in order to escape Hell, he called him to Islam, so he converted to Islam, and the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: May God’s prayers and peace be upon him.

Praise be to God who saved him from the Fire through me. He saved him from the Fire through me. This is mercy for the worlds. May God open up for us and for you and accept from us and from you and forgive us and you and reform us and you and benefit us and you with what we heard. May God’s prayers and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and companions all together. May God reward you with good.
