Now, some of you might already be familiar with Dominic Cummings, who was the architect of the Brexit campaign in 2016. He's also done a lot of things in his life, including being an adviser in the education department and helping to create the free schools. He has been a bit of a troublemaker for the establishment because he was working closely with Boris Johnson in the early days of Johnson's government in 2019. Things were going really well, radically draining the swamp, just about, and then they got rid of Dominic Cummings. The whole thing collapsed, and Boris Johnson was in the hands of his wife, Carrie, and all the other liberal green weirdos who took over the Conservative Party.
Since then, Dominic Cummings has been completely anti-establishment. He has always been anti-establishment, but he has been exposing so many things about the Deep State. Some people say his life could be at risk because he is going to get into a lot of trouble by continuing to expose what's actually happening in the United Kingdom and who actually runs this country.
Watch this: the person in the... So, if you think of two roles, right? The Foreign Secretary in Great Britain and the Private Secretary in the PM's office responsible for foreign affairs—an official whose name has never been in the newspapers. That person was like ten times more powerful and important than the Secretary of State. I think this is something which people just don't really realize, and it's part of how the whole system has just become fake.
So, you have fake democracy, fake responsibility, and then fake Cabinet Government. They all walk up Downing Street, the cameras are there, they pose, they smile, "Haha, I'm going into the most powerful meeting, aren't I? Great!" But it's all nonsense. The Cabinet is just a kind of stage theater, and actually, officials in the Cabinet Office have already decided it all.
When you sit in Whitehall, right, in meetings, they are literally scripted. So, when the Prime Minister has a meeting with ministers, what happens is that before the Prime Minister has that meeting, officials go into the Prime Minister's study and they give him a folder. In the folder, at the front, is a thing called Chairman's notes, and that's the script. That's what the Prime Minister reads out, and the conclusions for the meeting in the Chairman's notes are drafted before the meeting happens.
So, the Minister says, "Hello, Secretary of State," blah, then all these officials sit around the sides on chairs around the edge of the room, and then the MPs, the Secretaries of State, all look down at their folders because they've all got their scripts, right? This is why I use the NPC meme, right? Because then the Prime Minister reads out, "Well, we're here to discuss blah blah blah," then he goes around the room, and then the Secretary of State for Justice or the Foreign Secretary reads out his bullet points, and then he reads out their points.
If anyone goes off script, you see the official sort of go and look over at the other official inside the room, kind of saying that means we'll come back to that after the meeting and make sure that that doesn't happen. Then at the end, a fascinating, great discussion, "Thank you so much for your wonderful, insightful, original contributions," and then he reads out the conclusion that was all drafted in advance. It sounds like a parody, but it is literally how the British State functions.
And the MPs are happy with that, right? Well, how does this work? The officials are happy because they have almost all the real power. The Cabinet Secretary is now 100 times more powerful than any Cabinet Minister, apart from the PM. The MPs are happy because this whole system pretends that they're in charge. So both sides are basically happy with the fake version of the government.
Welcome to British democracy and the British State, ladies and gentlemen. That's why he struggled. He had big plans, Dominic Cummings, when he was in Downing Street with Boris, and he was basically pushing Boris to be anti-establishment, to completely wipe out all these departments. Then somehow, all these negative stories came out from the press, a media witch hunt after witch hunt. They created him as basically the devil, the caricature of himself, and it was completely chaotic.
So they planted all these stories to make you think that he's the crazy one, that he's basically incompetent, that he's this, that he's that, that he's a clown. All the stories about him being a very tough boss and always shouting at people—basically bullying. These days, if you shout at your employee, you're bullying them. All these civil servants were crying around, and eventually, they found a way to get rid of him. They kept pushing and pushing and pushing until the liberal side, the green liberals in the Tory party, including Boris Johnson's own wife, Carrie, decided to push him out. They took full control of Downing Street, and everything went back to normal—the whole charade of fake ministers, fake MPs, fake Cabinet meetings, and the whole system.
You think the minister that you are angry at, the Prime Minister that you're angry at because they're in charge—are they actually in charge, or is it the officials and the faceless bureaucrats? [Applause]
