Ah, Subak is something my ancestors knew a lot about. Many Balinese generations now might be very far from Subak, while Subak is hundreds of years old. So, this is a culture that has existed since the pre-colonial era, since a very long time ago. There's a system of irrigating rice fields, but it's more like this. In the past, when I lived in a village, we didn't have mobile phones, we didn't have WhatsApp, but I knew when to divert the water to my land first, and then I would get my share. So, it's like a village that already has a sense of an irrigation system that doesn't need to be discussed anymore, but it's already integrated with nature. So, when we talk about Subak, we're talking about high-level technology in terms of agriculture, but it's also very spiritual, sis. It's not just technical, and it's not just about coordination with other residents, but it's actually something that has become part of like worship. And the theme of Indonesia Bertutur is the theme of Indonesia Bertutur, and it makes us discuss again how close we are to nature. And now, of course, it's very questionable. We modern humans are all very estranged from nature, very far from nature. So, many nature-related themes are discussed in Indonesia Bertutur this year. So, actually, it's a festival. In Indonesia Bertutur, what? A festival. What does the festival consist of? The festival consists of many collaborations between artists from within and outside the country who suddenly come. Like, suddenly there's a catpong fire from, like, Thai film gurus. They will showcase their work. Mas Garin will be there with a showcase of Samsara, which could only be seen recently at Esplanade in Singapore, and where else? Semario Bayu, yes, he's a producer, and Juliet. So, one of them will be showcasing here. And there will be several artists from Germany, from Belgium. Some will bring dance films, some will bring films about the environment, some will bring performances. So, it's all sorts of things, all sorts of visual art installations. So, all sorts of things that discuss, that invite us to discuss again where our connection with nature is as modern humans. It's not narrative. It's a bit surreal, actually, because it's a dance film, so it's like a performance, like a dance performance, but filmed. So, people will interpret it differently. If there's no dialogue. Yes, but fortunately, this film is quite clear. I gave my child. So, okay, it makes so much sense. But the point is, can I spoil it? Why is it called Kotak? Because, because actually, through this film, I want to discuss our closeness as modern humans to nature. I have a reflection, you know. Like, my husband and I are very different about nature. I invite my husband hiking, and when I'm hiking, I'm so happy. My husband is like, "Where's the toilet?" But judging from that, I actually saw it and came to my own conclusion. Oh, it turns out our closeness, how comfortable we are with nature, really depends on our childhood. So, I realized that maybe my husband's childhood was very different from mine. I still played with nature under a tree, while he might have been in a box. So, when we become adults, whether we are estranged from nature or not usually depends on the parenting style we experienced when we were young. That's what I'm trying to discuss in my film. There are two types of different personalities. One is very familiar with nature, and I also portray his inner child, or his childhood, which is also very familiar with nature. But on the other hand, there's a friend who is actually not very familiar with nature, so he's very estranged. He's just in nature, and I depict a box because it's a surreal representation that illustrates the limitation of his mindset, that he feels trapped and can't get out of that box. And it turns out, yes, it's because of parenting. So, I discuss his inner child because he's always been indoors since childhood, and his mother taught him to stay in the box and within those boundaries for safety, hygiene, cleanliness, or whatever. So, when he's taken to nature, he brings that mindset and those boundaries, so he can't enjoy nature. So, that's what I hope will be depicted in this film through the visuals I'm trying to present. And this will be shown at the Indonesia Bertutur festival. When? This film will be shown on August 13th. The Indonesia Bertutur festival starts from August 7th to August 18th.
