Time to PANIC On These Players in Fantasy Football?

Well, look, I I don't know what the record is for serious injuries to incredibly relevant fantasy players in a year. I'm not sure what that record is, like season ending injuries, IR stints, but I don't want to sound like a broken record. Another week where the fantasy gods give and they take, and another very relevant fantasy football player is not going to be available for the rest of the year. We're going to talk about all of the players who busted this week. We're going to talk about our panic level of a 1 to 10. I appreciate you guys being here.

Now, let's just say this from the get-go. This is a safe space, okay? So, you can let it out. All right? It's it's okay to be frustrated. It's okay to be extra. It's okay to be annoyed right here. This is the one time per week where you can let your frustrations out because let's be honest, fantasy is not fair. That's just the reality of fantasy football. It's not always fair and we have to navigate our way around uh the chaos that is fantasy football. I appreciate you guys big time for being here with us.

Um, hey, we do have a giveaway on today's stream. All you need to do to enter is type in Anybody know what the code word is today? We got our boy back on Sunday Night Football. That's right. All you got to do to enter is type Jaden. All right. Now, at the end of today's stream, I'm going to give away one of our 2025 team playbooks, which is a customized team review for your fantasy football team. All you need to do is like today's stream. Make sure you're subscribed and type Jaden into the chat. Anybody else got him tonight? I'm so excited to see him play.

Okay, a lot of players to talk about and unfortunately, it's not all positive, if any of it's positive at all. Let's start off with the disappointing news. Tucker Craft, I mean, my gosh, just if you drafted Tucker Craft, you hit on pure gold. All right, just absolute diamond in the rough at the tight end position. Before this week, we were looking at the tight end two in fantasy football. the tight end two just uh just just one week removed from a 33-point game against the Pittsburgh Steelers where he had almost 150 receiving yards career highs. I mean, the guy was turning into George KD, but unfortunately we have to come here today and recognize that it's most likely over. Okay, I'm sorry. The panic level is a 10 out of 10. Um, this is the play where non-cont I mean there was definitely some contact there but this is a play where everyone is suspecting that Tucker Craft has torn his ACL. So yeah, I mean I would be absolutely shocked if something comes out tomorrow where he hasn't torn his ACL. It's almost a guarantee at this point. Okay, he's going to be out for the entirety of the season. Obviously that's terrible news not only for your fancy football teams. It's terrible, terrible news for the person, right? He's going to have to take this entire year and recover and it's terrible news for the Green Bay Packers as a team. Uh Ian Rapaort came out and said the fear heading into the MRI is that he did tear his ACL, which is just brutal. I haven't heard any positive news. Almost guarantee that uh we're going to see no Tucker Craft rest of the way. Of course, if I'm wrong later on, then I am, but most likely you're not going to see him.

Now, this is probably really good news if you want to flip the coin for like a Romeo Dobs, uh, right, who in this game had 10 targets, caught seven of them for 91 yards. Pretty good news for a Christian Watson, uh, you know, who was dealing with injuries in and out of this game as well. Romeo Dobs is probably the biggest beneficiary. Unfortunately for the Packers, Matthew Golden also left the game with an injury. Um, so, uh, they're not going to be with Craft, they're not going to be with Wix, Jaden Reed, Matthew Golden. So, Romeo Dobs might be turning into a mustart each and every week. Obviously, we'll monitor that as things go forward, but unfortunately for our Tucker Craft people, as we've done many times this year, can we please offer a moment of silence, we love you, Tuck, get back and get better.

Okay, let's move on um to our next player here, which is Roma Dun. Uh yes, the guy Roma Dunce who last week had 10 targets, 114 yards, uh over 18 fantasy points. Uh he came out and let's let's talk about what did he do today against Let's remember the Bears and the Bengals both scored over 40 points. Um this is fantasy football to a te, isn't it? Well, I don't know. DJ Moore came out and had a damn good game, right? 24.98 fantasy points. Got into the end zone as well. Shout out to DJ Moore doing his thing. Hell yeah. Okay. Ola Madas Aas. Shout out to the University of Virginia. Two up, two down. Comes out here. Eight targets, six catches, and a touchdown. 17 points. Coulson Loveland. Breakout game, baby. Seven targets, 118 yards, two touchdowns, almost 30 fantasy points. Everybody in Chicago was eating. Everybody was getting a piece of the pie except for Except for Mr. Rome Adun. Except for the breakout of the year at the wide receiver position, Rome Adun just shocking performance. It's not like there wasn't much offense in this game. It's not like, you know, we we can look at this matchup and say, well, don't worry, the the Bears didn't need to throw the ball. No, I mean, both teams needed to throw the ball desperately throughout the majority of this game. I mean, they both put up 40 freaking points, but from an out from like a, you know, bird's eye view, it's not like Roma Dun's role decreased. I mean, he was still out there for 80 snaps. He played 100% of the snaps. 100% of the snaps. He was all cardio team. Led the team in routes run, but unfortunately, just three targets didn't connect. There was also a target in the end zone. He could have caught it, right? He could have caught it. He dropped it, but at the same time, it was a terrible pass from Caleb Williams. Uh, you know, honestly, Mama said there'd be days like this. My panic is like a two or three out of 10. I'm not very concerned about Roma Dunay. This is just the nature of fantasy football. No receiver, no running back, no quarterback, no player in fantasy football is immune to a goose egg. And unfortunately, Roma Dunce just gave you the first of uh of his season.

Appreciate y'all being here. Let's talk about DK Metaf. It's fun. It's fun when I'm doing this and I just get to talk about Mason Dodd's roster, by the way. Uh so, Roma, Goosek, DK Metaf, 2.6 fantasy points. Uh, we've notoriously been a very pro-s sell DK Metaf channel and it's not been because we don't love DK Metaf. We don't think he's a super talented player because we absolutely do. It's always been based in Arthur Smith spreading the ball around the involvement of the tight ends and the running backs. It's just there's never a safe game with DK Metaf. Of course, there's upside, but there's always a really concerning floor. in this game led the team in snaps. Led the team in routes run, only four targets. Now, to be fair, the game script never really called for them to pepper him with targets, but two catches, six yards, just 2.6 fantasy points. I mean, that's that's a terrible, terrible outing. Uh, and it's also concerning to see that the team also did really, really good even without him in the lineup. So, I put the panic level, it's a five out of 10. I mean, this is I'm not really gonna overreact. I'm not gonna underreact. This is the nature of being the number one wide receiver in Pittsburgh. Go ask George Pickkins how it feels to be outside of Pittsburgh now. All right, that's just the nature of being a part of this offense. That that's just unfortunately what's going to happen here and there.

All right, let's talk about Chris Lave just quickly. You know, I don't want to uh you know uh dive too much into a just want to talk like honestly we have to start to adjust expectations for him. It's my opinion that Spencer Rattler is a better quarterback right now than Tyler Shuck in the NFL. And I think a lot of you guys would agree. This was Chris Ave's worst fantasy day of the entire season. And obviously, it's also the first start for Tyler Shuck. I don't think that's a surprise. I don't think that's some coincidence. Clearly going from, you know, Rattler to Shuck is a huge downgrade for Chris Olive. He was one of the safest PPR scheme, uh, you know, scam floor type of players. And now you come into this week, Tyler Shuck, not a single game before that where Alve had under 10 PPR points. And in this game, 8.7 points, just four targets. Four targets in a game. They were down the entire time. Uh yeah, if that doesn't give you, you know, glaring red flags. I don't know what will. The bad part about this is they play Carolina next week and you typically want to attack them on the ground, although they're a very good defense. Then he has his buy. So, it's not even like you can sell him to someone and say like, look, you know, go, you know, Lav is great. We know how much he is. He had a down game, but you know, he's going into his buy. So, it's it's tough to sell him. I think there's going to be rough days with Tyler Shuck ahead. I mean, I don't know. I would love to hear what your number is on one to 10 with Chris. Tell me what your panic number is. For me, it's probably a 7.9. I'm pretty concerned because not a single moment did I watch Tyler Shuck today and think, "Yes, he's a capable, competent quarterback that can lead drives on an NFL team." There wasn't a single moment in today's game where I felt that uh where I could say that with any sort of conviction whatsoever. But of course, I'd love to hear your guys' opinions.

Okay, let's just quickly talk about Travis Hunter. Man, uh concerning, really concerning for Travis Hunter. The good news is there is no um ACL tear for him. Now, this was a non-cont injury that happened in practice this week. Really difficult because, you know, Hunter looked like he was about to break out, about to be the number one wide receiver. I guarantee you the Jags offense would have looked completely different today if he was in there. But obviously ACL's intact, which is the good news. He is going to be on IR. They already placed him on IR, so you're not going to have him for at least the next three weeks. I would suggest maybe it could be even longer than that. looked like a pretty serious injury to his knee. Uh so I would not be relying on him at any point this year moving forward. Obviously we we wish for the best and we we hope there are no injuries involved, but that's just not how fantasy football goes, is it?

All right, we're going to jump into some running backs, but again, I appreciate it appreciate everybody for being here with me um in the chat. I am going to do a giveaway today um and we're going to do it on the stream. Now, all you have to do to enter that giveaway, and by the way, we're going to give away a team playbook voucher where you can get a customized team review from us. All you have to do to enter is make sure you're subscribed, like the stream, and type Jaden into the chat. All one word, just Jaden, because tonight we get to watch the king return. Well, my king, I would say, Mr. Jaden Daniels himself gets to go out there and play some damn football in the uh throwback unis. I cannot wait to see. But if you want to enter, again, like the stream, type Jaden, and completely free to enter.

Okay, let's jump into some running backs here, uh, Jonathan Taylor, the Superman himself of the fantasy football season this year. First down game. Um, I'm not going to put too much stock into this, honestly, guys. You know, clearly the Steelers had the Colts number, not only defensively, uh, but even just like coming in, like the mentality as well. you could see that the Steelers were going to win this game. Uh but you know, if you look at this game, Jonathan Taylor came in here, still had a high percentage of the snaps. There's not a single running back that's really going to, you know, bother him from a usage perspective. Only had 14 rushing attempts, and that led to 7.7 fantasy points. I mean, 14 rushing attempts for Jonathan Taylor. Uh last week he had 12, I guess, versus Tennessee, but you're typically seeing this guy high teens, you know, early 20s. So when he has 16 combined touches, typically that's not going to lead to a great day unless they just completely blew out their opponent before they could, you know, uh, put their guys on the bench. So, uh, bad day from Jonathan Taylor, but again, just like Roma Dunes, we we talked about with this with Rome earlier. Mama said there'd be days like this, and I my panic is a zero out of 10 with Jonathan Taylor. If anything, if anyone is stupid in your league and they're panicking, then go buy Jonathan Taylor if you can.

All right, let's talk about Aaron Jones. He was looking fantastic. I I mean, I can't emphasize how good he was looking uh before this injury uh on Sunday. I mean, he looked like the guy in Minnesota. Minnesota's offense was actually looking really good. JJ McCarthy was playing really well. Unfortunately, then we saw him leave the game. He suffered an AC joint sprain. Now, they're saying the belief is minor and he believes he'll be able to play next week. So if that's true then, you know, we can say the panic is only like a two or a three. But you know, plenty of, you know, coaching staff and players, they say a lot of things and then later on the injury ends up being worse than, you know, we thought. So I would be very cautious with him moving forward if I was Minnesota. Um, and you know, when I say he was dominating, you can see how how dominant he was. The first 31 plays for the Vikings, Aaron Jones was out there 24 snaps. 24 snaps, just eight for Jordan Mason. That's what I mean when I say it was a dominant outing to start for Aaron Jones. Now, of course, we we then saw uh Jordan Mason come into the game and lead this back field. Another running back didn't even touch the ball. He ended up with 37 snaps, 11 total touches. But Jordan Mason has well and truly entered the touchdown or bust range. He just is not featured in the air. Honestly, it doesn't really make sense to feature him in the air with the amount of weapons that Minnesota has. So definitely a concern, but there's not much you can do. All you have to do is wait on the injury reports and hope that it truly isn't a significant injury. What I will say is that shoulder. Why do you think Bucky Irving's been out for so long? I mean, it's a little bit different when Xavier Worthy gets the shoulder injury, right? I mean, he can avoid contact at times. Every time a running back is touching the ball, they are leading with those shoulders, right? I mean, you're not too adula diving, but like you're leading with that shoulder. you're initiating contact. So, yes, they say he'll play next week, but I'm not 100% sold.

All right, the next one. I mean, he hasn't suffered a knee injury. He hasn't suffered any season ending incident, but I almost feel like it's time to say our goodbyes. Let me know if I'm wrong. I am Am I wrong? Am I crazy? I it I think Alvin Kamar ran into the sunset last year and I don't think we're ever going to see him again. That's not Alvin Kamar on the field. You can't convince that's not Alvin Kamar playing football for the New Orleans Saints. Just not remember how he said earlier uh you know if they trade me I'm going to go get some drinks at the local bar. I am convinced that this is the latest version of AI technology and we no longer have Alvin Kamar on the New Orleans Saints. He was actually traded, but the deal didn't go through with the other team. So, he's actually retired in Mexico right now. All right. Sipping on a margarita, sipping on a mimosa on the beach. And this is the latest version of AI because this is not the Alvin Kamar that we know. Uh there is no juice, there is no burst, but it's not all in him either. Okay, to be fair, this offense is terrible. The New Orleans Saints offense is awful. And used to be the case where if the Saints were down in games, well, don't worry. Alvin Kamar is one of the best receiving backs in the NFL in league history, clearly they're going to target him because he's so good in the air. Well, I still think that's the case. I still think he's one of the better receiving backs in the NFL. But Kell Moore has no interest featuring him that way. Kellmore would rather have Tyler Shuck drop back, you know, throw it to tight end three on the team rather than dumping it off to Alvin Chimera. Get Alvin Chimera in space. Get him in the screen game. There's just I mean, what do you guys think? To me, my panic level on Alvin Chimera is like a 10 out of 10. I don't think I can be more panicked. I'm not sure I'm not sure you can trade him for anything. I'm not sure he's worth anything. So, with all due respect to Alvin Kamara, a lot of this is not on him, truthfully. But at this point, I think it's time to push the GG's and say, "Hey, man, thanks for playing. We appreciate you, but it's time to ride off into the sunset."

All right, a really nasty tackle happened here on Sunday. That's unfortunate for CJ Strad. You never want to see, you know, a young quarterback, any quarterback really, you know, as they're diving or as they're, you know, scrambling for some extra yards and they they hit that slide and then, you know, there's always that kind of little pancake where the contact happens on their chest or their body and then, you know, it's almost like a a trampoline when their head hits the turf. That's what happened with CJ Shroud. I'd be shocked if he plays next week. That was a very serious concussion. Um, so in Superflex leagues, obviously very difficult for CJ Shroud. he's not going to be available at least next week in my opinion. So definitely concerning. Now unfortunately that also really hurt this passing attack specifically like dump offs like Woody Marks was just not involved in the air unfortunately and every time he was from Davis Mills the target was just uncatchable. Uh that really really hurts uh Woody Marks in this game and unfortunately you're probably going to be in that same situation next week. As I said CJ Strad was a very serious injury they had to stop play. they had to get him, you know, uh, into the locker room. It took some time. Uh, and, you know, this this offense in Houston is just is just awful, you know, and again, you're really counting on Woody Marks to give you value through the year, but without CJ Strad out there, it's it's more difficult to rely on that on a weekly basis. And they're just doing silly things on on the goal line. Uh, you just can't rely on this offense right now. probably the worst passing attack in the entire NFL. So definitely a a a big big concern.

All right, let's talk about Chuba Huard. Why are we talking about Chuba Hubard? Well, it's over. He lost his job. All right, your chain got snatched, Chuba. I'm sorry if you're a Chuba Hubard owner, but Rico Dado is just too damn good. All right, and I mean, we were very on board selling Rico Data uh this week. That obviously looks very silly right now. He overcame one of the best rushing attacks, defenses, sorry, in the NFL in the Green Bay Packers. He came out there and just went absolutely hamburger mode, man. Absolute sicko mode. Rico Dattle, 28 fantasy points, 130 rushing yards, a little bit involved in the air as well. You look at the usage, Chuba Hubard, 13 snaps. Rest in peace, Soldier. Thank you for where you brought us some fantasy football, but the baton's been handed. It's not your job no more. So, if you have Juba Hubard right now, he is a handcuff at best. That's what he is at best. The panic is a 10 out of 10. If you're more excited about a different player in the Waverwire, you can consider it. You can consider dropping him. I'm not telling you you need to, but you can consider it because he is just a handcuff right now in a terrible offense. All right, Rico is that dude. He is Timothy in that offense.

All right, we got a couple more names that we're going to talk about. Appreciate y'all being in the chat. I see you guys so active and lively. If you are just joining us, we are doing giveaway today. All you have to do to enter said giveaway is number one, make sure you're subscribed. Number two, uh like the stream and number three, type Jaden into the chat again because we get to see our king, Mr. Jaden Daniels, tonight. I need a big game. I need a huge game to stay alive in the flock league. All right, I need at least at least 27 points from Jaden to have a shot here. So again, type Jaden, like the stream, and make sure you're subscribed. And we're going to do that giveaway here at the very end of today's stream.

Okay, a couple more players that I want to talk about here. And I'm going to start off with Kamani Vidal. just just really a a weird game from top to bottom for the for the Chargers guys. I mean, they started this game, it was a pick six and then they had the kick return for a touchdown for the majority of the first half. I'm not going to make an excuse for Kamani. I mean, they couldn't really establish the run on the ground, but uh they were getting nothing going. And this Tennessee defense, which had been terrible against the run all year, really played for pride at that point, right? They were like, "Look, we're not going to get dogwalked every single week. We're going to make a a real point of emphasis to stop the run this week." And that's exactly what they did in this game. Vidal was still the guy, no doubt about it, right? 47 snaps, no one came close. Uh but just 12 carries, no targets. Anytime your running back doesn't get a target, that's going to limit their upside as well. 30 yards. Obviously, this is the floor of a waiverwire player that is on a good offense, you know, that is not some elite guy that you can rely on each and every week. You know, if if the game plan goes a different way, then Vidal is not someone that you have to force into your game plan. Obviously, if this was different like last week where the Chargers were up, they probably would have established the run a little bit more. But Vidal, look, it's still going to be a fine play as a flex until Hampton comes back. I would put this at like a three or four panic level, right?

Last thing I want to talk about here is Tyrone Tracy. I mean, if you watched the Cam Scaboo injury last week, and hopefully you had the reaction we all had, which is devastation, but then you thought to yourself, "Well, at least I have a starter now in Tyrone Tracy." That's wrong. Wrong answer. Try again. You don't have a starter in fantasy football. Sorry. Nothing's predictable in fantasy football anymore. Okay? None of us know what we're doing on a weekly basis. We are all making the best guesstimations that we can with the information that we have. And it was my belief that man, I think Tyrone Tracy is going to give you a reliable floor every week in fantasy football. Now, I think he's going to give you a 10point per game season rest of the year at minimum. Well, what happened this week? The veteran old dusty bags Devin Singleary ended up leading the team in snaps. Okay, 32 snaps. Uh 25 to Tyrone Tracy. Devastating stuff if you owned him. eight carries, two targets, uh 10 touches compared to nine for Tyrone Tracy. I mean, pretty much a split back field right down the middle. So, I mean, I don't think we can go into each week and say, "Oh, yeah, it's a good matchup, so Tracy's playable." No, it's it's just it's you can whatever case you're going to make for Tyrone Tracy, you can make that same exact case for Deon Singleary at this point. Uh that's just the reality. Unfortunately, Tyrone Tracy is not Cam Scataboo. He's not going to replace Cam Scataboo. He's a fine player, but sometimes if you're not him gets shown, and I think that's what happened today.

Again, I appreciate y'all being here. Is there anybody that I missed in today's video? Uh, Puka Nakua, obviously there was a little bit of a concern with him. He did come back into the game. Um, I wish him nothing but the best even though he's not on my Flock League team anymore. It was awesome to see him back in action. He's just such an exciting player. I'm just trying to think if there's anybody else. Brian Thomas Jr. we can talk about quickly. He did leave this game with a ankle injury. Unfortunately, even without um Travis Hunter, he wasn't really featured the way we wanted him to be. Five targets, three catches, 55 yards, and it's not like the Jags dominated this game. I mean, it went to overtime. You know, he was just a part of the offense. He wasn't the offense. He was a part of the offense. Meanwhile, you had Parker Washington who came out there today and with his nine targets, caught eight of them for 90 yards. So, another injury happened to this offense. Uh, Deami Brown went down. So, Brian Thomas is, you know, should be a low-end wide receiver two, high-end wide receiver three, flex option at times. And it doesn't get better next week because he faces Houston. That's one of the toughest matchups for your fancy wide receivers. Not good, man. Not good for Brian Thomas.

All right, look. I'm going to do one more thing here on the stream and then we're going to do our giveaway for the team playbook. If you want to enter said giveaway and right now I can tell you there are 109 entries. If you want to enter the giveaway, all you have to do to win a team review from us is like the stream, make sure you're subscribed and type Jaden into the chat. All one word, just Jaden. There are 109 of you guys entered right now. But what I want to quickly do is maybe you're watching this and you're upset that Tucker Craft just got injured or your fantasy team sucks. Like I get that. It's not been a great year for me either in some of my leagues. Well, I want to introduce you guys to the Fast Draft app. Now, the week 10 contest just opened. We actually won the week eight contest. We took home first place. Was really excited with the team that we built there. Uh if you've never played on Fast Draft before, I'm going to show you exactly how to play and we're going to make a lineup here together really quickly. But all you got to do if you've never played before is download the fast draft app. Use my promo code land. I'm going to match your deposit up to 50 bucks. That is 10 free regular drafts on us or five free DFS tournaments. Uh and then you're going to get my weekly rankings next week completely free. So again, if you've never downloaded Fast Draft before, make sure you use the promo code land at signup. Um and uh give it a go, man. Have some fun because I am having fun. Even though some of my fantasy leagues suck, my fantasy teams suck. so many injuries, I can still win some money on Fast Draft. Last, again, last week I I got first place.

All right, let's build a lineup together. Very simple. The way this contest works. Okay, all you have to do is choose six non-quarterbacks. Now, I would highly suggest that when you enter a contest like this, you get unique. So, we'll set a lineup here together, but don't copy the lineup because you're going to limit your chances to win a contest if you copy someone else's lineup. You want to you want to make it unique. you want to make it, you know, different than everybody else. You want to think outside the box with this because again, if you have the same lineup as somebody else, then, uh, you know, you're going to find it difficult to to stand out. So, at the running back position here, um, we're going to go and we're going to go Rico D here for sure against the Saints. He looks like that dude. I'm not going to give him two time bonus points, but I definitely want him in my lineups. You know what? Out of pure belief, we're going to put Bucky Irving into the lineup, believing that he's going to be back as well. I can change that later on. That's a great part about this contest. Um, is there another name here that we want to get unique with? Let's let's not go too unique the entire time. James Cook against Miami. He should go absolutely crazy. Let's get some wide receivers here. Puka, Nikua, Amanra versus the Commanders. He's probably going to be my my number one player there. Two-time bonus points on him. We've got Amecha Igbuka coming back from the buy. Debo Samoa versus Detroit. Honestly, I am going to put Roma Dunes in there on a bounceback. I think a lot of people are going to be concerned to put him into into the lineups this week and we're going to go ahead and put him in there with some confidence. And then why not Parker Washington after his performance today? Why not just kind of ride the wave with him? Uh that's the lineup I'm going to go ahead and submit. Again, you can create your own lineups. All you have to do is uh download the Fast Draft app, use the promo code land. That link is in the chat for you guys.

Okay, let's do this giveaway now. We have 140 entries now. 140 entries. All right. So, someone's going to win today. And let me copy these usernames over and we are going to choose one name here. I know you can't see the names, but they're there. It's just you had we had so many entries you can't even see anybody. So, here we go. The winner of today's team playbook is Can't see a damn thing. Silverbird 3443. So, Silverbird 3443. All I need you to do, my friend, is DM me on Discord. I put my username in the chat. Send me your screenshot of your YouTube account and tell me your Flock Fantasy username. Now, if you don't have a Flock Fantasy username, you can create one completely free, but just make sure you use the promo code land at signup so I can find you on our back end. Whatever you need to happen, I hope it happens for you. Enjoy the rest of your night and remember we don't always get football year round.
