Spiritual Workout Pt 1

Mission 241:07:07

Transcription

I'm excited about 2012. I put on my Facebook already in good readings from 2011. Hello 2012. How about y'all? Amen. God, put us things in order that are out of order. And we have told you last few weeks, and I'm gonna remind you that November 12th has to do with divine government, the divine order. And we see already how God is beginning to put things in order early on in this new year for us. Uh, the Lord gave me a spiritual quickening and said that, uh, we need to work out 2012. There's physical working out, but also there is spiritual working out. And I'm going to give you some principles today with the help of the Lord. You should give a copy on several steps on how to spiritually, because I know everybody's, uh, probably worked out before. It does to prepare their bodies for different reasons, but I believe today that's going to impart some truth to you to be a blessing to you because some of you need to work out, and I need to work out so that the Lord can use us according to his good will, the pleasure of. Somebody say Amen to that. How many want to be used by God? Was the house of the Lord? Also want me to mention, we have our guest today, Tsuki Singh. Is friend of Brother John? Pardon. God bless you, soon, man. This bar has. We're gonna pray first. Father, we just thank you because you've been through an everlasting. Your mercy endures forever. We invite the Spirit of Truth to come and illuminate our minds right now. Shut off the things of this world, and we tune in to the Holy Spirit and what the Lord is saying through His word today. So the Lord Jesus Christ may give us direction, strengthen us, empower us to do Your will on the earth. Father, not only that we may be blessed, but according to the pleasure that Your will is done on the earth. And You didn't come to do Your will, You came to do the will of the Father. And I thank You right now because You've been truly everlasting. Your mercy endures forever, and great is Your kingdom, and great is Your holy name. And we praise the name of Jesus right now. Somebody say Amen. Amen. If you're a first-time visitor, if you're new to Mission 24, our model here is, don't come to men, don't come to religion. Come to Jesus. Come as you are. You have problems? That's good. Jesus has the answer. You have issues? Jesus will clarify. And, uh, maybe not like the microwave. Somebody just told me, Brother Daniel said that people want Jesus to be a microwave. Jesus doesn't have a seven or less, uh, idol or fifteen or less. But I'll tell you what, He'll transform you and change you forever. Amen. Open our Bibles in First Timothy 4, and we're going to read the whole chapter because this will be a good foundation for the sermon and the word of God today. And I want to share quite a few principles with you about a spiritual workout. But we're going to start in First Timothy chapter 4, starting at verse one. We've been talking about the end time. That just finished the series of the Seven Churches of Revelation, and we did a series about the end time. And the Bible says here in First Timothy 4:1, "Now the Spirit expressly says that in the latter times, right, some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of devils." So I have to remind you that I've been teaching you now for about three months on the end times and the, uh, the church position. And the Lord, when He prophesied in the Bible here, according to Paul, that was writing to Timothy, He said, "In the latter times." That means in our times, in the latter days, people would depart from the faith. That means people start off sometimes real good in the faith, but the devil comes to kill, someone destroy, and put the things that shouldn't be there in our lives, and we get deterred. Yes, whatever we get knocked off the road, we get, uh, deceived because deception is usually based on truth. Deception is taking the truth and bending it just enough to deceive you. That's why when the serpent told Eve in the garden, "Did God say you should not need every fruit of the victory?" And she set up the tree, uh, well, we shouldn't even look at it or touch it, lest we die. While they're changing or make the sea, the devil said, "You shall not die." He took the truth of God and bent it just enough for her to take a bite of what she shouldn't depict and being eaten of. So if you see here that the Bible says the last days, that's why I said, don't trip, potato chip, because in the last days, we're supposed to go through some dark times. This world is getting ready to meet the Antichrist. The world that's coming together and deciding that there should be one religion and only, uh, one common, uh, market. That the money system is failing, and it seems that there's many problems, and we could talk about that for a long time. But, but I want you to see that the last days, the Bible says that people will depart from the faith and giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of devils, or doctrines of demons. I don't know if you realize that the devil, he has a doctrine, and the devil has demons, and he's still alive, and he's still defeated because we proved again every week by week, Jesus is more powerful than the devil. When He's died in the crowd of rules on the third day, He described that that cross and the blood of Jesus is this is our faults. That another two years, two thousand years ago, remember, a thousand years is like one day, one day like a thousand years to God. To have been only two days since the blood was shed, and it still cleanses our sins, man. Now they're going to be speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own crutches, silver the hot iron, forbidding demand and commanding them thing from food which God created to be received for Thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth. For every creature of God, verse 4, is good, and nothing is to be refused if it is received for Thanksgiving. Somebody say Thanksgiving. For the Bible says, verse 5, "is sanctified by the word of God and prayer." How can he prayed when you eat your food? Hallelujah. How many effectively said, God, I got some food today. I got to thank You right now, and I Sanctified in Jesus. Then because if you even if he does, it won't hurt you. It ain't bad. He looks like these restaurants. He's better friend. That's right. You better. You go to Taco Bell, then you look great job. Stay out of Taco Bell. Amen. You know, God didn't make Taco Bells. Verse 6, "If you instruct the brother in these things, you will be the good minister of Jesus Christ, nurse in the words of faith and a good doctrine which you have carefully followed." Verse 7, "But reject profane and old wine stables, and Extras yourself. Exercise yourself toward godliness." Somebody say exercise. Exercise yourself. Oh, I like the way that's something again. Exercise. Exercise yourself. How many of you know that you could talk all you want, but until you exercise, you can see those people that lost all that weight on TV, and you can talk about that and sit with your government advice from you, but to you exercise, you ain't gonna if that's going to happen, right? That's right. That's right, bro. You exercise yourself important, but it says godliness. Verse 8, "For bodily exercise profits little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having the promise of life now is and that which is to come." So when we say in verse saying, "bodily exercise profits little," there is a profit to bother the exercise. God gave you this one body. You're not coming back again. You have one body, one life. The Bible teaches us, amen. So it says it does profit a little, but godliness is profitable for all things. That is, godliness has to do with God's kingdom, God's thy writing principles. When you study the word and you exercise godliness, you're going to be a fit Christian and not a flabby Christian. Come on, come on. Go ahead, brother. That's true. I got more for you guys. Hold up. Hallelujah. Okay, verse 9. "This is faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance. For to this end we both labor, suffer, and Repose because we trust for the Living God, who is the same to the wrong men, especially those who believe." These things command and teach. Verse 11, "Let no one despite your youth, but be an example and believer, that to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in Purity. Attendance through reading their education, the doctrine. Don't neglect the gift that is in you." Some return to their neighbors, said, "Don't neglect your gift." Come on. Don't turn it up and bless your gifts that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy, by the lean on of the hands of the eldership. It meditate on these things, give yourself entirely to them that you may progress being evident to all with your progress, bringing evidence. All take ease to yourself and the doctor continuing them, for doing so you were both saying yourself and those that hear you. Somebody's saying Amen. Amen for that. It's called a powerful weapons. We've got to treat yourself happiness. Let's go to our first slide. Uh, first time. Have you ever joined a health club? Have you ever bought weights or without equipment or exercise videos and never used them? Then they sit on the shelf collecting dust, or even use your treadmill as a hanger. Come on. How many people are by the treadmill and it ended up being a hanger? Oh, good sister. Okay. So strategy, Nixon, game plan. That's right. Well, we've all done it where we have had to got excited about exercising, maybe join the gym, paid a lot of money, and never showed up. Maybe we went two weeks, and then you kept our pain for for like two or three years, thirty dollars a month, and then you try to stop it, they won't stop it, and you have to about shut your account down to get rid of that thing. That's happened to us, huh? Brother James and I be going to the gym since the 80s, and, uh, boy, did get a hold of you back then. They wouldn't let you go. They calling her actually on the phone and everything. Next slide. First Timothy 4:7 through 10 is a message Bible. "Stay clear of silly stories that get dressed up as religion, like exercise, baby in God. No spiritual flappiness, please. Workshop workout in the gymnasiums are useful, but in discipline life in God is far more subtle, making a new fit both today and forever. You can count on this. Take it to heart. This is why we'll be thrown ourselves into this venture, soul." So what I want to present to you, people of God, is that, you know, bodily exercise profits a little, but we're going to work you out spiritually today. Is that all right? Because, uh, you are spirit beings experiencing a natural life. Inside of you is a spirit. Amen. God gave you a spirit, and most of you have also received the Holy Spirit. And because you are spirit beings, you have knowledge and understanding. You know the difference between right and wrong. That's what separates us from the animal kingdom in the world. The strong survive. Yes, the survival of the fitness. How many heard that before? But in God's kingdom, it's just about the opposite. It's not how strong you are. It's sometimes how weak you can and how much you can trust God in your weakness. Because God does not call the strong. He calls the weakness. God does not call the lies. He calls the foolish, the Saints. He called those that are torn up from the Florida, beat up from the, yeah, you got to remember that, okay? Wrapped up from the letter. God called everybody that we tore up people. Why? Because those that trusted Him become His strength, amen. And He is our strength, and He is our power. He is our future, and He is our hope. And the more weak you are, sometimes that's good. Sometimes people come to see me, I want to serve the Lord, but I'm, I'm too weak. Well, that's exactly the thing. You got to come to Him because your weakness. Because you come to God thinking you're all strong and perfect, everything. You got to have a rude awakening. He will humble you down to the floor and smash you in the smoother region, break you down. I tried it. It didn't work. I said, I tried it. It didn't work. Amen. That's like there's a fundamental difference in fact between spiritual growth and athletic achievement. It's easy for the committed athlete to its goal to keep his goal on the site because his goal is self-selected and some somebody said ego pyramid. He chooses his challenge, he undertakes it for his own satisfaction and personal sense of achievement. A lot of times we have athletes, and they're awesome, and we watch them, and I know I'm not against, uh, sports. I think it's a great being at, uh, play sports as younger young man for many years, and one of my most favorite thing was probably, uh, boxing. Some of you know I know I did add amateur boxing and street fighting and stuff back in the 70s when I was younger, back in the 80s. And the thing is, is that people usually pick a sport, and they spent years training and working out because they're after a certain goal. And I remember when I was growing up, it was real big. Was Muhammad Ali and George Foreman and George Frazier, who, uh, I know two friends who just died recently. And, you know, maybe some of you would like me to use some football analogies, but because I like boxing, I'm going to use boxing. Come on. When you get to preach, you can use your football about it, but because I preaching today, I lose boxing. Hallelujah. One of the most famous boxers, the greatest of all times, he float like a butterfly, sting like a boy. Your parents can't hit with your eyes can't see. Muhammad Ali, the greatest of all time. I just got to watch a video recently. I'm facing on me, and all the bricks were talking about the fight with him, and it just brought memories back to my, uh, when I was younger, man. We were in the reading and doing some, uh, training, and I knew that we spent hours and hours and days training for a three-minute fight. You spend about maybe three thousand hours training for a three-minute flight or set of three to the aperture, anyway. So by point to my people of God, is that people push themselves to reach athletic achievement, but we need to learn to push ourselves to be spiritual achievements. That's good. That's good. Because people come to me all the time, say, well, how did you get this? Or how did God use your death? Or how to stop working? How does God do this? Well, a lot of times, you have to go after yourself. So I'm going to give you some tools today on how to get some spiritual power and insight on how to get spiritually strong, but also spiritually fit. See, the rewarding, the spiritual quest, by contrast, is intangible and even elusive. If we are motivated by personal satisfaction, they're not a tangible reward enough to even measurable progress may be discouraging. That means to say that it seems that the spiritual conquest, it's harder to do spiritual war and spiritual preparedness than it is to do physical. Because a lot of times you want to get close to God, and you want to do something for God, and all of a sudden, a good movie comes on, and you forget to read your Bible. Okay, I gotta go to business. There's a party over here. I gotta go do that. I don't have no time for the Lord right now. I got busy. I got text messages. I gotta get on Facebook, and I got my friends, and, and, and, come on, you don't have that many friends. You pretty and everything, but you got that many friends. You ain't even that friend. Hallelujah. Go ahead. Oh, yeah. No, your friends, okay? So spiritual conquests are more difficult because it has to do with your heart, your mind, and your soul. Because our natural tendency is, we'd rather relax and eat and sleep and watch with this movie and eat popcorn and kick back than we would rather get up at 6 AM or maybe in the afternoon and do running and exercising because it takes effort, it takes discipline, it takes fixity of purpose. You have to be focused on a goal. And this is why the mountains of my people perish because many of them, the Bible says, lack a vision. For my people, prayers for lack of vision. So I pray today, God gives you a goal and a vision, and it made you have them. We're going to get you started. See, our ego wants to feel good, and if we don't experience immediate gratification, then once things get truly difficult, it can be all too technically tempted to simply say, well, I'm just going to give up my spiritual pursuit. Because most of us Americans want instant gratification. That's why a lot of Americans take the pills, but they want to go on a diet. They don't want to exercise. Let's take a pill, and I could have like, take a pill and lose weight, have a heart attack and die before my time. I remember there was a few years ago, they came up with a diet pill, and people started having heart attacks. Now they're assuming that company because we Americans want to Bloomfield and lose some weight, look good, and make it immediate, easy. But I'll type because life is a fight. It's difficult, and we have to pick the price. There's no easy road to this battle. We have to face what God has called us to face. Hallelujah. And I wish it would be easy for you, but I'm gonna give you 12 steps. I hope you're ready for the next life. Furthermore, the training course that we, uh, were handed by our ultimate trainer is not tailor-made for the achievement of our own self-defined goals. In other words, what God called you, He didn't call you so you could fulfill your own plan in your own life. Deny yourself and follow after me. That's right. Jesus said, pick up your cross, deny yourself, and follow after me. And it seems that a lot of Christians, a lot of people, God want more of God, but if you can't pick up your cross to follow Christ, you're not going to get too far from Him. You could lay down with your cross, you could sit on your cross, but if you don't pick up a carrier, you can lay on it, you can, uh, shellac it, you can maybe eat on it, you can paint it, it'll look like a little nice cross, but when it comes down to it, do you pick it up? Because until you feel the weight of the process, it is not a cross. Until you feel the weight again, come out. So it's not our own defined goals, but it is tailor-made for the goals that God has identified for so that the situation we encounter a day-to-day basis that tests us, that give us the opportunity to grow our spiritual muscles are very much our own, uh, our verifex about our own choosing. They may cause muscles to think that we don't even want to develop. That's why I picked this picture. I want to see it's called The Lord's Gym, and it says, uh, bench press this the sins of the world. Not actually from the 80s that that first came up, and I remember that I wanted to give to you because I want you to see that there is a spiritual strength you're going to have, and God will work you out, and you will be trying, and you will go through tests, and there will be challenges in your life, but God will be with you every step of the way and hiring or giving you strength. Because the devils when you first start are strong, and they try to get stronger and stronger, but that's all right because if you learn to walk with the Lord, you become so that the devil can have no pace in you, and you will overcome him because the Lord is wiser than the devil. People are afraid of the devil, and I'm going to tell you today, God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a solid mind. Hallelujah. Are you ready? Blessed are those which do hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled. Amen. Spiritual development and physical development share some similarities. With each growth, only comes with exertion and proper feeding. If you want more from God, you have to hunger for more from God, right? If you want God to do something in your life, and you want God to bless you, you always can't just have the minister to pray for you or have your best friend talk to you until you make me feel better. You have to stand up and say, God, I'm hungry for You, and I want You, and I want Your righteousness, and I want to be filled with God. Hallelujah. I want to be filled with the knowledge of God. But if you're never hungry for God, God's never going to give you more. Because God's funny like that. People want God, they say they want God, but when it comes down to unless you go after it, He's not going to show up just real easy. You have to look for Him. That's why when the disciples woke up in the morning, every morning, Jesus without praying or walking or doing something, they had to go look for Him every morning. He was training them that every morning they must look for their Master. But if every morning you don't look for Him, He won't show up. You have to look for Him. You have to call on Him. You have to look and see where He's at. Amen. That little preacher said, "Don't matter if you want banana cream pie or not. If you're in a second floor room and you're sitting on your bed, you said 99, and you could say, man, banana cream pie, come first. You can speak in tongues, and then definitely cream pie is not gonna move. You could be very spiritual about it. You can lay there and say, man, I said beef without a coupon. Oh, Lord, oh, do you jump off your bed, grab downstairs, open that refrigerator, pull out that pie, and get a big fat knife, forget that I can't fix that fork, and dig in. It ain't gonna happen." That's right. Because you have to hunger and thirst for it. And if you don't hunger and thirst, then you must not really want it. But God's funny like that. He wants to give us a lot of blessings, but He makes us do some work. Go ahead. That's right. He makes us have to pray. He makes us have to search out. He makes us to thirst and hunger. He said, "Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled." A lot of people hunger and thirst for drugs. Remember, they hunger and thirst for sex, or they hunger and thirst for the things of this world. But God tells us, hunger after righteousness, and righteousness is doing right things with wisdom so that God will bless you. Because it is written, "First seek the kingdom of God and His righteousness, then all things shall be added unto you." The Bible says, "First seek the kingdom of God and His righteousness," and then all things shall be added unto you. You can think of all your work, but until you seek this righteousness, I'm going to give you a key right now. If you want a true blessing of God, don't seek His hand, seek His face. And number two, go to seek His face for no reason but realize what you do must be for righteous reasons. Amen. Amen. Amen. You have to say, "I want a million dollars, and I want a brand new car, I want a brand new house, and I want to have the American dream." And because God's going to give it to you just because you look good. That's right. No, because everything you have must be used for righteousness. Yes, give more people money, but most of my Christian people, they need me. If I gave them a lot of money, man, that's true. So that's why He keeps you kind of poor. It makes you can't going through terror chapters. You say, "Mother, I need you this week." And God says, "I'm right here for years." Because they had the money, they didn't need God. Amen. It's your story. Happened to say this, but his wife, I don't have to pass away before time because he, these things in this world are never gonna satisfy you. That's right. There's nobody in this earth is going to satisfy you. There's no money that's going to satisfy you. There's no relationship that's going to satisfy you. There's no matter woman they're going to satisfy you. Don't need is going to satisfy you. Is Jesus Christ? Still this is going to fill your life, and you'll be filled with His presence is the Holy Spirit by Jesus Christ. Hallelujah. Because we have searched out and found out these things to be true. So if you don't ever for God, you're never going to have more. Exercise too. "Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers." That word, the word youth in the ancient Greek was used as a grown-up military aid, extended to the 40th year. So in Paul's writing, "Let no one despise your youth," he's talking about a military word extending to the 40th year. That is, the Bible says if you're about 40, you're still very young. You may think you're old, but the Bible says you're really young. And he was already 87 years old, and he said, "When I was a young man of 40." So I'm gonna tell you all you peoples out there, God's giving you like people to use it for His glory. He's giving you strength, use it for His glory, use it for His kingdom, and use it for His doctor. Amen. Hallelujah. Yeah. See, exercise the maturity and keeping of the doing of the word. This is how I know people are mature in the Lord. If you keep your word when you say something, if you tell somebody something and you don't keep your word, that means you're being immature. You're not being spiritual. You're being not spiritual. Because if I'm very spiritual, brother, but I do whatever I want, well, that's what the Bible says. You survive, brother. I do this, and I do that, and I'm gonna do this, I'm gonna do that. See, after a long time ago, words are just like words, they don't mean nothing. But you say you must learn to do right. Exercise being responsible with the word of God. The Bible says, "But prove yourself doers of the word, and not bring hearers or those that delude themselves." You know, you know, I know all this in the Bible. I don't know the Bible. I know all these verses. Yeah, but do you live by him? Because when you go to those gyms, they'll be push you and make you use muscles you didn't know you have, right? And you were, you're like, I got a squat down right there. Yeah. Hey, these little bones when they just get older, they ain't getting younger. Then again, you better work them, baby. You better be better in the spot. That's so true, Pastor. So don't get scared, but I'm gonna tell you, I'm gonna work tomorrow, working you out. I'm gonna put you at the best person in a few minutes. Is it going to get gooder goodness? And I noticed that proper English, so what you understand what I meant. So exercising maturity and keeping and doing with the word. If we are followers of the word, we must be doers of the word. Let's not deceive ourselves to believe we're very spiritual and we cannot say and then do. Because if you're not faithful in the little, you won't be faithful much. That's right. And I always want to use people in the ministry and open doors for people to exercise your ministry. One of the greatest blessings I have on the earth has seen people coming to Christ, be born again, but then finding out with their talent is, their gifts, and they're beginning to exercise those gifts right now. For me, as a pastor, there's nothing more exciting than seeing your spiritual children progress. Just like in the natural, you see your little babies growing up healthy, and you see how beautiful they were coming, and they start to, uh, produce or they start to live their life. It's a great blessing for parents. Well, it's the same in the spiritual world. When you see somebody that you birth to the kingdom, and they start doing things for Christ, or start manifesting their gift and exercising, there's nothing better. Amen. Because those people are going to go to heaven because of you. It's going to be about 300 pounds. You ready for me right now? I've just been doing lightweights. You ready? Smile if you're ready. Amen. Come on. You know, smile. I know you ain't ready. Come on. You ready? Then slide. Work out your own obedience. Work for what, beloved? As you have always a million dollars in my presence, but much more of my absolute. Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. Amen. One of the hardest things for a Christian is to be obedient, I think, to Christ and to God in His kingdom. We preach a lot of things, and we preach Christ. When we preach the love of Jesus for those that are newly, uh, converted, and to those that have been baptized one or two years, all I can tell you today is Jesus loves you so much. Yes, you could make a mess, and you'll just think it's cute. You know, little babies, we first get them, and they're yours, and they go number two, and you're willing to clean it up because it's your baby. If I could never figure it out because I had my own stuff that I could clean diapers and stuff and be okay because those are my bacon. Yeah, that's right. And I know it's my baby, and I'm willing to give him the bottle and carry them and say, "Oh, your soul took me, you're cute." Those are big in the first five years of Christianity. I, I pretty much know and been my experience, just like you put a seed in the ground, there's no instant fruit. That little tree will grow over a period of time, and, and little leaves will come out, and a little stock, and then after a while, it'll be growing attention. A few years for three to develop fully and produce fruit. Well, sword is in the spiritual. It takes time for people to develop, years to develop. I've been doing this 25 years. I've seen a lot of people come and go, and I'll tell you right now, nobody has overnight success or overnight. Well, I got it all figured out. No, I know how to do the devil, and I know how to have money, and I know how to do this, and I know how to do that. I know how to walk on water. I can catch up devils. I can prophesy and do all that. When you say, "I got figured out," you just realize you're gonna fall now. Because the Bible says, "No man take Heelys." She called, "Let no man think he's gonna take it easy." Fall, man. Because no matter how spiritual we get, God was always going to put you in a position where you don't know what you're doing so that you can trust in Him. Because you have to learn not to trust in yourself. You have to not learn trust in man. You cannot trust in your family. You cannot trust your neighbor. You cannot trust in nobody. You have to learn to trust in the Lord of all your heart. Believe me, not in your understanding, but in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your power. No matter how far are you coming up, if you've been there 30 or 40 years, I will guarantee you, you better learn how to trust in the Lord is in 30 or 40 years. Because to this day, I'm going to say, I need the Lord, and I need His grace, and I need His mercy, and I need Him to give me directions to Kevin the day of my life. I need His love, and I need His blood, and I need Jesus in my family, and I need Jesus in my finances, and I need Jesus in my home, and I need Jesus in my car. I need Jesus and everything I do. Amen. So the Bible says, "Work out your own salvation with fear and dribbling before the Lord." See, you can't work out for anybody else. You have to work it out for yourself. And you meet Jesus face to face. He's not going to ask you about your brother, sister, and mother. She's gonna say, "What did you do with the gifts of talents I gave you? What did I give you to do?" See, when I stand before the Lord, I know what He's calling to do, and if I don't do it, I know He's going to require it. And I don't stop before the Lord of the Lord and the King of Kings on that day of judgment. I say, "Lord, I can do Your way." Amen. Treaty. He goes, "What did I do on the cross for you? Did you get mistreated?" Yeah. "Did they beat him?" Yeah. "Did they reject him?" "Did they pull this beer?" "Did they whip him?" "Did they spit in his face?" "Did they put a bag over his head and smacked him and said, 'Tell us who's who's hitting you?'" Did he suffer for you? Did he suffer rejection? He was a Man of Sorrows, acquainted with grief. Yes, he was. He was good for our transgressions. He was bruised for our iniquities. That chastisement was upon him for our peace, and by his stripes, we are healed. Do you understand what your master has done for you? Do you understand the love that He gave when He shed His blood to you, and He was beat by men, and He was destroyed on that Prophet deflect so that you and I would not have to be judged like He was judged? You could say about people, "Stop judging me." Come on. Well, they judged Christ to death. They judged him to hell. They wanted to send him to the lower parts, and he went down there preaching. Jesus is so far from. He went down to hell and saved some people. You don't know that. You're going to read Survival by Jesus is going to play. How did he die? When he ran down to hell and told everybody that there is salvation, neither is looking at the Lord Jesus Christ. So I'm gonna tell you, work out on this, my brothers. When it comes down to it, get out of that bench press. Realize that what you do, you have to do for Christ. We can do nothing against the gospel, but for the gospel. We have to work out our own salvation. That means God's going to make you responsible. Now, if you're dealing right now here, the first few years of Christianity, the girl Jesus loves you. You coming up on your one year, and He loves you. Amen. Yes, He does. Thank you. And if you make a mistake, trial, I don't like it. We don't know that Jesus is a bodybuilder somehow. You know, Jesus paid the price in the spirit realm. As soon as He showed up on the earth, the devils began to react and said, "We know who You are." All right. No. Are you a devil's? Or is the devil chasing you? No, He's after me. When we get to heaven, and you see how great your God is, and how small the devil is, you're gonna be like, yeah, like lightning. The moment he tried to talk to himself, you out. What did I tell you last time? There was a hiding of his power. The devil tried to calculate him. Pass it. Even took off pays out the Lord. He tried to read like some, uh, you can think of the Lord, but God was hiding His power. In other words, God didn't show him all He could do. He tried to calculate to take out the Lord, but the Lord has the hiding of His power. That means no matter what God does, He always has more power. What you see, He's still hiding from you. Because it is written, "The secret of things belong to the Lord our God. The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but those things that are revealed belong to us and our children forever." When you know your God, and you know His word, you're going to be able to work out your own salvation. You don't need somebody to tell you what to do. You're going to know what to do because it's already been written. Amen. Come on. You already know what the Bible says. You already know how to hear from the Lord. You already know how to pick up in the Holy Spirit what God is saying. God will already confirmed to you. Next slide. Exercise, exercise. Number four is all right. If I do more Obama, a few words. The final thing, "I have fought a good fight. I have finished my course. I have kept the faith." Paul said, "Therefore, I run that's not one, that's certainly, that's I fight." That is what beats the error. According to First Corinthians 9:26, Paul is granting here and tell them, "I have caught a good fight. I have finished my course, and I have kept the faith." We've heard a preaching last week on now figure. Pastor Sam was preaching. I'm now faith. Have been faith. That I'm gonna tell you, this is a very important component and, and something that you must have. If you don't have faith, then what do you have? The Bible says, "If you don't believe, you won't receive. If you doubt, you go with house." That's right. The Bible says, "Now faith is a substance that we hope for." Pastors have said, "The Bible says, without faith, it's impossible to please Him. He's the coming of God must believe that He did, He and He's a reporter of those in duty." Without faith, it's impossible. You must get a hold of your faith and believe God. You must get a hold of your faith and believe God. And the devil comes up against you, you get a hold of the Lord and call upon the name of the Lord. You put up your shield of faith. You don't let nobody steal what God is giving you. You don't let nobody steal what God's purpose and prayers for your life. You don't let nobody steal other vision God gave you because you got it by prophecy, by the word. God showed you. He's he gave you a vision. You must hold to your vision. God's pain. And when the devil comes, you get him over the head and say, "No, God said, God bless. God says, if He before me, who could be a dead speed?" God said He was going to make it all right because it is written, "All things work so good for them to love the Lord and to those that are called according to this purpose." How do I know that? Because it says that in the word, and I don't know who said it. God said it, man. And because He said, I believe it. And because I believe that, I have faith that He could do it. He did only say it, but He can make it happen.

In the 70s because Bruce Lee was big, everybody was born back in the day, the ones that they use at the store, you know, the little crack, the food carts, but there was a barn, and they would cut them off, cut them in half, make a six-inch metal tube, chrome skip ordered them in the stick nails, and we would use those chrome knocks or, uh, not nachos, nunchucks. We should do the objects. One time she always for like two hours. I said, "What happened, bro? You gotta pick up things." I'll put my chocolate careful. Sometimes when you get hit like that, after we're more careful, yeah. But we used to train because, you know, coming from 67, 68, when we were coming from school, there was fights in East Side San Jose. The fifth, fourth grade, we had people marching down our streets of Chicago powers and black power. There's a Black Panthers, and we had the Hells Angels going by our streets back in East San Jose. That was normal. Seeing people get beat up, third, fourth, and fifth grade all the time. I haven't run home because people want to beat me up.

My son has to, you know, he's getting almost attacked every day. What can I do? He said, "Well, pick him up." He says, "Why?" "I'm working." That's what I wanted to do for you, sir. So I heard the technique me about my best friend, my first one of my best friends. I mean, my last name was there, but I'm gonna pray and intercede and stab in the gap so God delivers. Amen. But I'm gonna remind you, as soon as you do that, the devil's gonna attack you. So you start praying for somebody, they used to get mad at you, yeah. And then that week, they're all crazy at you. He said, "What happened?" "Well, God get into work." But I thought they're supposed to fall in love with me. No, it's a fight. You have to pray for that person and bless them, even down with their first shoot, deliver them, have mercy upon them, Lord. Bring salvation to them. God have mercy upon the father right now. I repeat the devil as advising in Jesus name. Bring illumination, bring them to standing, bring them to the feet of Jesus. God save them to right now. But as soon as you start doing that, you're hammering in the habits. God's going to send a blessing, and yes, the devil's going to come to God. Rest things up. You keep praying. Don't stop. Keep praying. Don't stop. Keep praying. Don't stop. Keep free. Keep Proclaim. Keep believing. Keep fighting. And I'll tell you that answers prayer. I said, God answers prayers. I could be here, okay, and tell you all that the time. Do you answered prayer? Sometimes it's just lower weight. But I'll tell you, when it comes to intercessory praying for somebody, you have authority, especially when it's apparently. Remember, I have fine over the years. You have a special authority as mothers. You have a special authority of the father. You have a special authority over your loved ones and your sisters and your brothers because God made me put you in that position. Maybe they're not safe, but you're safe for a reason so you can help them, right? I'll show you guys three people, okay? Now, I'm gonna put you under 500 miles away. You ready? Purity is royalty. Having therefore these purposes, dirty beloved, let us count our sauce from our filthiness of flesh and spirit, perfecting in the, uh, holiness and the fear of God. He that have clean hands and of your heart, who have not been so the value or sworn deceitfully, he shall receive a blessing from the Lord and righteousness to have been God of his salvation. When in Christianity, uh, the holiness has almost become a bad word. Because where we come from, holiness is associated with what you wear. Holiness is associated how you love. Holiness is associated as if you were a certain time. Holiness is associated if you drive the right car. Oh, holiness is associated in your status and your last name and your political maneuverings around the church and the family. Holiness is if you're in with the right crowd. But I'm gonna tell you what the Bible says, holiness is separate yourself from filthiness. Separate yourself from carpets. Uh, you know, holiness is saying no to the devil and yes to Jesus. Holiness is saying, God bless you with your blood and cleanse me and make my heart right that I can serve You. Holiness is being separate for holy purpose because purity is royalty, and royalty is purity. What I'm trying to tell you is that the person you get to God, the more holy you will become, the more green you will come, and all the garbage used to walk in will fall off of you, and you'll walk in your conscious with a pure heart, with pure intentions, and a pure, uh, motives. Because when we were on the East side, we'd always have to look over our children and see if the bubble was behind us. So now I don't have to look back no more. I am worried that the police are watching me because I have nothing to hide.

And they have to realize who they are. And I'm gonna tell you, when the people of God finally figure out who they really are, you'll love holiness and you'll say, God, keep me with a clean heart. Keep my motives pure. Because with this life, so many people are sick, brokenhearted because of relationships that haven't been bondage. Amen. And how to get out of bondage is you yourself asking God to clean up your heart. Amen. Because you could spend the rest of your life hating one another, pointing the finger at other people, and walking in sin.

Because, see, sin isn't just smoking a cigarette or smoking the drug. Sin is when you hate your neighbor, amen. Sin is when you don't forgive people. Sin is when you don't allow God to clean out your whole heart and your whole vessel. Because the Bible says all sin comes from the well of the heart, out of the buttons of the mouth of the heart that all speaks.

So holiness is not something ugly. This is, holiness is something beautiful. That means you're being willing to be separate from this world. If everybody's doing drugs and and drinking and partying and doing all kinds of crazy things, that's not what the Bible. The Bible says, "Come out and be separate." Right? And I receive you.

And if you really want to do something for God, let me give you a powerful illustration. You can't go into the higher echelons of God's kingdom with hidden sin, right? You can't break things for God and have a pet devil at home. Hey, is it getting too heavy? I got a little more. We kept walking holiness and it indulged in the things of this flesh today. So many men, governors, senators, have been taken out this last few years because while they have their wives, they also had a mistress. While they had their wives. And I'll just say one word to you: Schwarzenegger. The Terminator, the governor of California for about 14 years, was presented himself to be a well-adjusted, good family man with his children. But all the time, he had this maid on the side. They had a child, and she paid for her housework. And now one of his sons changed his name and changed it to somebody who's Schwarzenegger. And that for a man is probably one of the worst things that could happen.

Holiness, being separate from the fleshly desires, allowing Christ to come in so powerfully that by the power of the Holy Ghost, we get the power over our flesh, the power over our nature, amen. Amen. Because one thing, I pray that I've been doing this 25 years. I pray I have to have another 25 years and I finish well. Because there's too many preachers today that are multi-millionaire preachers and there's anything with other men and doing drugs and then it's coming out and destroying their lives. Because see, we got to be the real thing. Remember the Coca-Cola was the real thing or not? I don't care. You know, anyway, you put a Coca-Cola outside on something, let's say that the sun. If you are reducing with your entire Versace, I took brother down to the native nation when they look down here. What's up? I think most of the main patients wherever they're preaching to the Native Americans about two years ago, then the case of Pepsi, but that was like, um, he's working on Pepsi, man. But I'm saying, there's just like we could fill our bodies with garbage. We need to clean out and have a holy cleansing by the blood of Jesus.

I'm not perfect. Adultery has come to my house. Spirit of lust has come to my house. All kinds of battles in 25 years. And I know that I know I'll have another battle, but I'm not afraid to fight the devil. But I don't find him on his terms. I find on God's terms. Because when I'm weak, he is strong. When I'm overwhelmed, I've learned to lay down with grace. I said, God, I'm tore up in Florida. I'm a preacher, but I'm tore up. You know, I'm weak, God. I'm pulled up. One time I got so tore up and so discouraged being a preacher, my wife had to pray for me. That's rough on the whether you survived. Got to pray for the preacher. Because we must be a preacher. But when the wife to preacher, pray for the preacher, there's a problem. And she had to pray for me a while for a few days and a few months because I was so overwhelmed. And and two spirits that come to my house. And God taught me two spirits are going to come to pray. And they did. Their new Lord, I had to fight. But how I fought was I trust in the Lord. He knew I was going to be weak. He, he knew me when I, when I was out of my mama's womb. He knew me when I became a preacher. He knew me when I was a deacon. He knew me the day I got baptized. He knew me with that I was weak when I was born. I was weak on the streets. And then I was weak after I got baptized. I was weak when I was when I was on the streets and everything. But all that time, he didn't love me. And never changed his love for me was faithful and true. God is faithful and true. He never gives up on you. He's never gonna give up on love. He's never gonna change his life. But he saved you. He kept him when he calls you. He said he came in general all the way to heaven. Everybody called you and gave you the blood and forever you would be with him forever, forever. You would be delivered. Forever, he would give you the grace of the performance. That's how good my God is. That's the Jesus that I serve.

So no matter how weak I am or how what mistakes I've done, Mom, he puts a holy group of righteousness. My righteousness does not come from myself. Because the priests that they are in the old days and the monks back then, they would do self-flagellation. They would take a whip and whip themselves because they would sin and they would whip themselves in their monastery and whip them till they were bloodied. And God forgive me, they whip themselves. It's just like some of you, you guys make the mistake and you whip the heck out of yourself. That's right. And we are we're old. But he that called you and watched him with his love. He called you to be high. And I'm looking right. Go ahead. By the way, that's right. Some of you need to get high on Jesus today. Yeah. I got a revolution Christianity to go to the governor's medicine or you go to the mirrors up. I've been the mayor of San Jose. I've been in a lot of places. And I'll tell you, Jesus is cool. He's the one that invented cool. The world is not cool. They think they're cool, but they're they're following the liar. But I'm going to tell you a little bit. Follow Jesus are not quality. They're following him to the truth. He said, "I have to wait a truth in the life." To imagine, he said, "I am the spread of fight." There's a light of life. Yeah. And he is the true one. Yeah. I've been in Christianity. It's a blessing to be a Christian. Carry my cross. Oh my God, what was me? Oh, what was me? Oh, for what mercy? Come on. Come out. Whoa. Pick up your cross. Get serious, right? Get it. Get focused. Realize you're in the battle.

I was praying one time for a young man about about 10, 15 years ago, and he was just overwhelmed, beat up. That the Lord told me by revelation, gave me a vision that in the spirit world, he was getting touched out. We were fighting. And God showed me we were like fighting against the enemy. And there was, like, trees, and there was war, and people were punching it out, and people were shooting, were shooting at each other. And I saw this young man, and he was getting pumped. I don't remember seeing somebody get pummeled like when someone just get torn up. We're just getting hit, and I mean bad. And the Lord showed me in the superior brown, you're taking a beating because you don't know who you are. And the devil is taking shots at you. And you won't lift up your hands to fight back. You don't have no problems today. Your problem is you ever put your arm around me? You have an exercise your rights and exercise the government, the ability to restraint your father's giving you. You already have everything you need to beat the heck out of the devil, beat the heck out of the world, and to overcome this life. You have everything you need. You have the blood of Jesus. You have the word of God. You have the Holy Spirit. And you have the love of your father. What else do you need?

I'm gonna stop right here. I got, I'm gonna have to do partnership next Sunday. If you come back, I'm gonna do party tickets. I got about six more. So this is your first workout. You want to stand up, just take your notes. And next week, we're gonna do part two because I, I thought I'd get through more. But like this, I only got some purity because next week we're gonna have to start with, uh, putting your tongue in the house. Oh.

Foreign spiritual workouts. I want you to consider this week. I want you to start working out, looking at these notes, because Mission 24 is headed for greater heights and great inspections and many words for us.
