This is the video that you'll need to submit your starting lineup in week nine. S tier, you already know you're starting. Jonathan Taylor, McCaffrey, Bijan Gibbs, Puka, Chase, JSN, Kairen, Jacobs. Frankly, it doesn't matter where you rank them. Frankly, it doesn't matter who you have over who, what the matchup is because they're in your starting lineup.
You can probably say the same thing with the A tier guys, but we can talk about them just for craps and giggles. Um, here we have James Cook. James Cook going up against the Kansas City Chiefs. One of the very few games in which the Buffalo Bills are actually going to be underdogs in. And what we historically see is James Cook, a running back that in games in which the Bills lose, he's not scoring a lot of points. Look what happened against the Patriots in week five where he scored 4.9. Look what happened against the Atlanta Falcons in week six where he scored 8.7. But you still have him sitting here with an average of 18 carries per game, two targets a game. So you're averaging 20 opportunities a game for the Buffalo Bills and you're an incredible talent. And this game has an over-under over 50 points. So realistically, you're still starting him.
Um, CeeDee Lamb, you're still going to start as well. This game has an over-under of 54 and a half points. Should actually be the highest scoring game in the entire NFL this week. Lamb since coming back has had an average of nine targets over the past two weeks. You haven't necessarily had that 30-point performance, but it's 100% possible in this spot against the Cardinals. Amon-Ra St. Brown is also a must-start wide receiver. Every single week you're playing against the Minnesota Vikings. You're eight and a half point favorites. So realistically, it's 100% in the range of outcomes for this team to come out here and honestly just run the ball with Jahmyr Gibbs and Montgomery, but St. Brown has been incredible so far this season, averaging 21 points per game. And then we have Rashee Rice averaging 24 and a half points per game. And this is an incredible setup against the Buffalo Bills where again, this is going to be one of the very few games in which the Kansas City Chiefs could potentially lose and could potentially be trailing in. And if that's going to happen, you're going to see the Patrick Mahomes drop backs ramp up. If that's going to happen, we're going to see more and more points go in the direction of Rashee Rice. And you mix this in with the fact that you have no idea Pacheco. So honestly, maybe they run the ball even less.
Then going over to Javonte Williams. Really good matchup against the Arizona Cardinals. Again, this should be the highest scoring game of the week. Play team total 28 and a half points here for the Dallas Cowboys. And Javonte so far this season is averaging 15 and a half carries a game and 4.3 targets per game. So he's right there with about 20 opportunities a game.
Then Austin Ekeler will be our next running back. Implied team total of 21 points here for the Raiders is actually much better than what you see most weeks with Las Vegas. And Ekeler is also averaging roughly about 19 opportunities a game. And that's actually gone up over time if we exclude the blowout loss against the Kansas City Chiefs in week seven where realistically that wasn't really a football game. But this one does project out to be somewhat close where you do currently have the Jacksonville Jaguars only favored by two and a half points in this game.
And then Justin Jefferson will be the last player in this tier. With Jefferson, yes, the offense is going to be much worse with J.J. McCarthy under center. At least that's what sportsbooks are projecting out. You have the Vikings as an eight and a half point dog here against the Detroit Lions. But Jefferson over the past four weeks has had double-digit targets every single game. And Justin Jefferson is one of the most talented players in the NFL. So honestly, you start him every single week. Very similar to what we were saying with Ja'Marr Chase back when everybody was crapping on Chase for not scoring points.
Now moving over to our next name, we're going to have Romeo Doubs. So I traded for Romeo in the Flock League. Of course, I am super happy I did it, and I am really excited to start him this week. He missed practice on Wednesday, but he did practice on Thursday. And Thursday, they told us, "Hey, he's going to play. Don't worry about it." And this matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals is incredible where you have an implied team total of about 27 points here for the Chicago Bears. And Romeo Doubs is currently the wide receiver 12 in points per game so far this season. If you go ahead and look at where he's currently sitting on Underdog Fantasy, they have him higher or lower 63 and a half receiving yards. Honestly, I think you could go at the higher if you wanted.
Now, our next name is going to be Drake London. So, London gets in a limited practice on Wednesday. He gets in a limited practice on Thursday. I think the expectations now are trending towards him playing. In the same time, the expectations are probably going to be that you get Michael Penix playing as well. Right now, he is higher or lower 63 and a half receiving yards on Underdog Fantasy. If you're looking at the sportsbook projections, they currently are giving the Atlanta Falcons an implied team total of 19.5, which honestly is a lot lower than where it was earlier today. So maybe I need to double-check this status with Kirk Cousins being the starter here. But if Cousins is the starter, then realistically we probably need to move Drake London down. But of course, I will keep you posted on this. Just make sure you are subscribed to the channel.
Then our next name is going to be Jaylen Warren. Jaylen Warren is going to be just a must-start running back with no Austin Ekeler, no Najee Harris, and at the same time you're obviously not going to have Amari Hampton. So he's the last running back standing. You're playing against the Tennessee Titans where you are favored in this game by almost about two touchdowns. So you should be able to run the ball in the second half. Right now Jaylen Warren is actually higher or lower 89 and a half total yards which does give him better projections than honestly a lot of the players in the A tier.
And then Chase Brown will be our next running back. With Chase Brown, he is losing some involvement to Sam Perine as of late, but the projections here are still pretty decent with the Cincinnati Bengals where you have an over-under in this game, I want to say at about 52 and a half points and you have Cincinnati with an implied team total of 24 and a half. So, they should be able to move the ball down the field.
Um, George Pickens will be our next name. Um, we went with Pickens higher than like 10.35 fantasy points on Underdog last week and that higher did actually hit for us. Now, the higher or lower this week instead is 11.75. So, honestly, I'm going to be staying away from that. But this matchup against the Arizona Cardinals, like we discussed, does project to be one of the highest scoring games of the week and you probably should start George Pickens.

Now, let's move over to Davante Adams. Davante Adams had the massive blow-up in week seven, but realistically, it was just off of touchdowns. Right now, you do have the Rams projected out as one of the highest scoring offenses on the week. The only teams that projected to score more points than the Rams this week were the Baltimore Ravens. And I want to say not, yeah, not even the Indianapolis Colts. It's really just Baltimore and then the Los Angeles Rams. But this matchup against the New Orleans Saints has a massive, massive spread of about two touchdowns. So realistically, they probably run the ball in the second half, which is why we have Kairen ranked so high.
Then Ladd McConkey will be our next wide receiver. Ladd is the wide receiver 27 in points per game so far this year, but he's been trending in the right direction for sure. Where over the past three weeks, he's averaging about 12 targets a game. And so far this season, he's actually sitting with eight and a half targets per contest. So the issue's been the efficiency. It's come dramatically down, but the volume is there. And obviously very talented player with a very talented quarterback.
And then our last player in this tier is going to be Nico Collins. So typically you'd be very concerned about this matchup going up against the Denver Broncos, but Patrick Surtain is actually not going to be playing in this game. And if we look at what we have with Nico Collins, if you remove the week that he got injured against the Seattle Seahawks with a concussion, he had scored 5.5, 14.2, 22.4, about 12, and then 16 fantasy points. So he had been averaging roughly about 13 points per game. Is that incredible? No. But you can go back to 2024, 2023 where he's averaging about 17 and a half. And the games in which he disappointed was only a five-week sample. So in reality, I think it's way too early to write Nico Collins off.
Then our next tier is going to be led off with Jaylen Warren. I really don't like the matchup for Jaylen Warren where you're going up against the Indianapolis Colts. And this is a game in which the Colts are favored in. I honestly thought they would be heavier favorites here where it's only about three points the spread. Obviously Pittsburgh is at home. Um, but Warren, even if they are trailing, is going to get involved as a receiver. It does appear that Kenneth Gainwell is no concern whatsoever to his usage at this point.
Then Michael Pittman Jr. will be our next wide receiver. We also actually hit on the Michael Pittman Jr. pick him underdog last week where I think we went higher than 51 and a half receiving yards. Well, right now he's actually not projecting much better than that. Despite him just crushing every single week, he's still higher or lower 54 and a half receiving yards this next week. Obviously, he's running incredibly hot on touchdowns where he has six receiving touchdowns, only 43 receptions so far this season. While at the same time, he is out there at eight yards per target, which is his highest mark since 2021. But this is also the best quarterback play that he's probably had in his entire NFL career.
And then going over and looking at Chris Olave is just going to be in a garbage offense this week. Like obviously I'm not going to be able to sit here and tell you exactly what to expect with Tyler Shough. We barely seen him play in the NFL at all. But what I can do is I can look at what sportsbooks are saying and I want to remind you that sportsbooks are smarter than you are. They're smarter than I am at evaluating these players that we have yet to see. And what they currently have right now is they have the New Orleans Saints not only projected to be the worst offense in the league, but projected to be the worst offense in the league by a wide margin as well. So yeah, not super interested in going through and telling anybody to um jam in the New Orleans Saints this week. I mean, they have an implied team total of 14 and a half points.
Then DeAndre Swift will be somebody that you 100% have to monitor. DeAndre Swift missed practice on Wednesday with the groin. He missed practice on Thursday with the groin. But this is the continued trend that we've seen from DeAndre Swift where he was also missing practices last week and he still came through and he still had, I mean, 15.1 fantasy points. He's still averaging this season over 14 carries over three targets for a total of about 18 opportunities a game and this is a phenomenal matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals. Obviously, I'll keep you up to date in the live streams, but if DeAndre Swift were to be ruled out, Jaleel McLaughlin will turn into a must-start running back.
And then Travis Etienne will be our next running back. With Etienne, I am starting him on my team. Players I have in my starting lineup that we've already talked about today. I have Travis Etienne, I have Josh Jacobs, I have Nico Collins, I have Romeo Doubs. So, I am pretty high on Etienne here. I'm really relying on him this week. I like the matchup against the Raiders where you do have the Jacksonville Jaguars favored, but Etienne's usage has been trending in the wrong direction and so far this season, you actually do have him only averaging about 17 opportunities a game, which is a lot lower than the other running backs we've talked about so far.
Then moving over to Tyjae Spears. Tyjae Spears is an easy start against the Niners. You actually do have the New York Giants with an implied team total of 23 points here. Only two and a half point dogs against San Fran. Obviously, San Fran is traveling from west to east for this game, but nonetheless, Spears is going to have a very safe opportunity mark where you go back to what he had week one this season. He had 74% of the snaps, and I'd expect something similar in this matchup.
Then, our next player that will be in my own lineup is going to be DK Metcalf. Metcalf is actually the wide receiver 18 in fantasy points per game so far this season with about 14 and a half. But as somebody who has Metcalf on their own team, I'm very concerned that this isn't going to keep up because he's had five receiving touchdowns off of only 27 targets. The efficiency has been great. He has a higher yards per route run than any time in his entire NFL career. And he's has a higher yards per target than any time in his NFL career as well. Obviously, decent quarterback play here from Aaron Rodgers. Um, and you don't have much competition, but they're just giving so many different tight ends targets in this offense.
Then Marvin Harrison Jr. will be ranked much, much, much, much, much lower in the majority of our rankings going into the future. But where we are going to be giving him the benefit of the doubt is going to be in this matchup against the Dallas Cowboys where the over-under of this game's like 54 and a half points, projects to be the highest scoring game of the week. And honestly, we haven't seen an over-under this high at any point so far this season. But with that being said, Marv is currently averaging 10.8 points per game. He's averaging 3.4 receptions per game, 5.7 targets. He doesn't look good. It's just a dream matchup.
Then moving over and looking at Courtland Sutton. Sutton obviously is going to be ranked well ahead of Marvin Harrison Jr. in most of our rankings going into the future. But where the Texans have one of the toughest defenses in the league, obviously you have Dallas with one of the worst, but this is a spot that you really want to avoid both for Courtland Sutton as well as Bo Nix. Realistically, I'm sure most of us are going to have to start Courtland Sutton if you have him. But yeah, I mean, if you are looking at this Texans defense, you do have worse projections for the Denver Broncos offense than we've had at any point so far this year.
Then going over and looking at A.J. Brown. Uh, I traded away A.J. Brown in a two-for-one deal with Stefon Diggs to get to Nico Collins. Um, he had two targets this past week and what we have frankly just seen with Joe Flacco is he is over and over and over again just looking in the direction of Ja'Marr Chase. He's checking his first read and if Ja'Marr Chase is one inch of separation, he's throwing the ball in that direction. Like where Ja'Marr is averaging almost like 20 targets per game over the past two weeks. You have DeDe Westbrook sitting with 12 targets a game over the past two.
Now, our next wide receiver is going to be Deebo Samuel. Deebo Samuel could climb even higher than this once we get 100% confirmation that you are going to have Jaden Daniels as the quarterback here. But realistically, I think we should rank it under the assumption that Jaden Daniels is going to be the starter because at this point, that's what it looks like it's trending towards. While at the same time, you're not going to have Terry McLaurin in this game.
Then Brian Thomas Jr. will be our next wide receiver. It's very difficult for me to rank him as well because he's dealing with his own shoulder injury and you had Travis Hunter popping up on the injury report on Thursday with the knee injury that you're going to have to monitor. Brian Thomas Jr. obviously was a round one pick in fantasy drafts this year. He was incredible as a rookie where as a rookie he came out and averaged 16.71 points per game. Was the wide receiver 12 in points per game, the wide receiver four in total fantasy points. Well, right now he's the wide receiver 39 in total fantasy points and looks like absolute garbage and he's not 100%.
Adam Thielen is just stuck in an absolute garbage offense. Where we are talking about the New Orleans Saints projecting out to only score 14 and a half points, the Panthers are at 15 and a half. For reference, like the Giants are supposed to score eight more points than this. Like let's go through and let's look at other bad offenses. The Chicago Bears are supposed to score 12 more points in this. So, it is tough to get excited to start any Carolina Panther here. It's a brutal matchup against the Green Bay Packers where they are like 14 point dogs.
Now, our next name is going to be Keenan Allen. Um, Keenan Allen did see his usage go down this past week. I think a lot of this had to do with the fact that obviously you did have Josh Palmer coming on extremely strong against the Minnesota Vikings. But I do think you get a bump back up with the Keenan Allen usage closer to what we have seen through the entire season so far. But obviously this is going to be a trend to continue to monitor.
Now, Jaxon Smith-Njigba will be our next wide receiver. JSN currently is sitting here with 12 and a half points per game. The target volume's been consistent since you have had the Marquise Goodwin injury. Over the past month, you're actually seeing about 12 targets a game for JSN. And you do have much better projections here for this Giants offense being able to move the ball down the field against the Jets.
Then Stefon Diggs will be our next wide receiver. I traded away Stefon Diggs in that two-for-one deal to get Nico Collins as I discussed. And a big reason for that is I just don't see the usage going the right direction for him. Over the past three weeks, he's averaged five targets a game after the blow-up against the Buffalo Bills. Realistically, the snap rate isn't necessarily there either. I mean, so far this season, he's averaging 22 and a half routes run per game, which is the lowest mark that we have seen since his rookie year. He's just not getting out there enough.
And then Xavier Worthy will be our next wide receiver. Um, I could move Xavier Worthy up and down with this. I just think if we really sit here and think about it, it's tough because Xavier Worthy has yet to have a game this season with more than 17 fantasy points. Obviously, you have just a tremendous amount of opportunities going over to Rashee Rice where Rashee Rice has looked incredible, but this is a game against the Buffalo Bills in which the Kansas City Chiefs are going to have to throw the ball a bunch and it could be just an absolute shootout. It is very difficult for me to figure out how we should be ranking Xavier Worthy right now.
Now, JK Dobbins will be our next play. With Dobbins, he's a touchdown or bust running back. I mean, we've seen this already this year, right? Where if we go through and we look at what JK Dobbins has done in games where he did not score a touchdown, he has scored 11.5, 4, 9, and 14.1 fantasy points. JK Dobbins has a really tough matchup here against the Houston Texans, which is mainly why we're going to have him this low.
Same thing with Rico Dowdle. All the coach speak coming out of Carolina this week is them essentially saying, "Yeah, don't fire us. We're going to stop being stupid. We're going to stop using Chuba Hubbard so much. We know Dowdle's our best running back." At least maybe I'm paraphrasing, but that's what I'm reading out of the situation. It does seem like you're going to get a lot of Rico Dowdle in this game where realistically the only offense that projects worse than the Panthers is actually going to be the New Orleans Saints. It's just a horrible matchup against Green Bay.
Um, Kareem Hunt will be our next running back. We're going to make these rankings under the assumption that you have no Isiah Pacheco. And if y'all remember back to draft season in underdog drafts, Kareem Hunt in round 18 was one of my favorite picks. And he's one of the reasons why we are absolutely crushing on underdog right now. We actually have three eliminator teams left, which I think there are only two people in the contest with hundreds of thousands of injuries that have more than us. So, we are right there at the very top. You absolutely love to see it. And Kareem Hunt is one of those reasons. He's keeping us alive. He's given you the random games with multiple touchdowns.
Now, I will say um it would be tough to ever go out there and willingly put him in your lineup and try to predict when the big weeks are going to come because you don't have really much receiving usage while at the same time you don't have the big plays and you can't say like, "Oh, well, you have no Isiah Pacheco, so he's an absolute jam because realistically, has Isiah Pacheco scored any points this year?"
Now, Breece Hall will be our next running back. Um, it is a difficult spot to rank Breece Hall because if we are looking at Breece Hall, it's a great matchup against the Dallas Cowboys, but we don't really know the status with the committee in this backfield where Dalvin Cook may play, may take the receiving role. It's not like Breece Hall's a really good running back. We haven't seen him have much volume so far this year. Um, this will be something that we have to just get some more clarity on. The running backs, they'll actually be used this weekend and hopefully we know that by Sunday morning so we can move them up or down these ranks.
Now, Romeo Doubs will be our next wide receiver. You do have Christian Watson obviously coming on in Green Bay, which is going to be a little bit of a concern. You do see Romeo Doubs with only six targets this past week, which is actually lower than what he had in week seven, week six, and week four. In this matchup against the Carolina Panthers is one in which the Packers should be able to run the ball in the second half.
For Khalil Shakir against the Kansas City Chiefs, like they're not going to be able to run the ball in the second half. More likely than not, they are going to be throwing it. Um, I know Shakir is coming off a really strong performance, but realistically that was his, I want to say second or no, I apologize. Khalil Shakir with 20 points this past week. He's played, this is his fourth NFL season, and that's his third game ever scoring 20 fantasy points. So, we've historically seen a very capped ceiling for Shakir, but this is a good matchup for him.
Um, Jordan Addison's averaging 16 points per game. Jordan Addison has been significantly better than this so far this year. But I don't know how much we love the matchup knowing that you're going up against the Detroit Lions, eight and a half point dogs. Well, at the same time, I mean, you haven't had like Justin Jefferson look good with J.J. McCarthy. So, if Jefferson's not looking good with McCarthy, I have a hard time believing Addison will.
Then Travis Hunter is going to be our next guy. If you are looking at Travis Hunter, it's very difficult to rank him again because we don't really understand the full status that you're going to get with a player like Brian Thomas Jr.'s health. And at the same time, you have Travis Hunter popping up with the knee injury on Thursday. But Travis Hunter's usage before the bye week was incredible. So you'd assume that maybe they continue to push more in his direction.
Then going over to Woody Marks. Woody Marks is somebody that I'm not going to lie, it makes me a horrible person, but I got a little excited to see him pop up on the injury report with the calf because I have to play against him this week. So Woody Marks, if you want to take the week off, you do you, my friend. I completely understand. Um, but realistically I'm having to play against him this week. He has a receiving floor which we know about. The ceiling is going to be a little bit compromised because this game environment is not one in which you want to be targeting because you can go back and you can look at the over-unders that we have this week. And right now the Denver Broncos Houston Texans game is supposed to be dominated by defense. And this game is the lowest over-under of any game in the NFL.
Now, David Montgomery will be our next name. With Montgomery, obviously you have Jahmyr Gibbs as the RB1. So it's tough for us to come through and for us to say like, "Oh, we know what we are going to get from a week-to-week perspective." No, the usage is very up and down and Montgomery does really seem like he is a touchdown or bust running back at this point, but you are randomly getting those massive spikes in this game against the Minnesota Vikings in which you'd have really favorable projections for Detroit is one where you could see a big spike.
Um, Kenneth Walker projects to be the starting running back in Seattle. And this team as well projects to be a three-point favorite, but it is tough for me to come out here and say like, "Oh yeah, we know we want to start Kenneth Walker seeing the Zach Charbonnet usage." But between the two running backs, Walker's been the much more efficient player. So, you would think maybe they decide to lean on him a little bit more coming out of the bye.
Then Alvin Kamara, I have to play against him this week. And Jakobi Meyers as well. So, maybe I'm very biased ranking them this low. My thing with Alvin Kamara is he's straight up washed. It's over. Maybe he buries me, but he projects to be in the worst offense in the league this week. He's sitting here with 3.6 yards per carry, the lowest mark of his NFL career. 4.7 yards per target, by far and away the lowest mark of his NFL career. And at the same time, you've had a total of, I mean, a whopping 10.25 fantasy points, by far and away the lowest mark of his NFL career. So it does seem like unless something changes, Alvin Kamara is just gonna be done here.
And then with Jakobi Meyers, last week, you knew it was going to be garbage. Very similar to what we were talking about with JK Dobbins. Meyers is a touchdown or bust running back. So if you don't have Jaden Daniels, we understand. Yeah, you are ultimately going to be in a spot in which the offense is bad. There won't be many touchdown opportunities, so you don't want to play J.C.M., but this matchup is going to be better. You don't love who they're going up against, but as long as you have Daniels under center, you will have trips to the red zone and scoring opportunities.
Now, Quentin Johnston will be our next player. I would love for anything, I would love more than anything in the world for us to eventually be able to rank Quentin Johnston ahead of Ladd McConkey yet again. But it looks like it's just simply not going to happen. It looks like Josh Palmer is taking his job. It absolutely sucks. Again, my Underdog teams are crushing right now. A big reason for that is Quentin Johnston. So, if I don't want to be selfish here, but if I could just get one or two more usable weeks out of the guy, I would absolutely love life.
Now, our next name is going to be DJ Moore. Um, with DJ Moore, it's very difficult to rank him because we don't know the status of Curtis Samuel. If Curtis Samuel doesn't play, I'm more excited to put DJ Moore in my lineup. If he does play, I'm less excited. But realistically, if you're looking at Moore, he has had, I want to say one game with more than five or, I'm sorry, more than six targets this season.
Zach Charbonnet has played more than Kenneth Walker so far this year, but as Charbonnet's like higher or lower 53 and a half total yards on Underdog, you have Kenneth Walker higher or lower 61 and a half. I think the expectations are the player that continues to outproduce Zach Charbonnet from a per-touch perspective probably sees more opportunities coming out of the bye week.
Now, moving over to Aaron Jones and Jordan Mason, you can throw them back to back. I think the expectations are going to be that if you are looking at this backfield, Aaron Jones, the running back that's getting used as a receiver, Jordan Mason's the running back that's getting used as the first and second down guy. So, in this matchup against the Detroit Lions, where they are heavy dogs, I'd assume you'd prefer Aaron Jones.
Then Rhamondre Stevenson, Trevon Henderson are impossible to rank because I said a few weeks ago if I ever tell you to go ahead and put Trevon Henderson inside your starting lineup, then unsubscribe from this channel. But and I mean, there's a big but. If Rhamondre Stevenson misses this week, Trevon Henderson could be a must-start player. But you do have a lot of rumors circling around potentially a trade here where the New England Patriots go make a play for a running back.
Now, moving over to our next name, we are going to have R.J. Harvey. Um, with R.J. Harvey, he had eight touches last week. I know people are going to be really excited to go out there and start him because of what you have with the three touchdowns, but realistically um if you are looking at Harvey, like his higher or lower on Underdog Fantasy is 29 and a half total yards. This offense projects to be horrible and he's the backup running back right now. Still think you should be rostered in all four bats but not started.
I am starting Tony Pollard this week because I have everybody on bye and I'm desperate. Though, don't follow my footsteps. Pollard, Spears back to back. Spears looks like he may be taking over. Shaheed, garbage offense, but you have target volume. J.M.O., good offense, but boom or bust. Alec Pierce, good offense, but boom or bust. Keon Coleman, good offense, but a whole lot of bust. All reports are saying that Chuba Hubbard's essentially going to be phased out here. Who knows how true that is.
