The old "I" that's looking at you, the Reed-Sternberg cell, is the topic of today's video. So let's get started.

The Reed-Sternberg cell is a large cell with two nuclei. Each nucleus has a prominent eosinophilic nucleolus. Around the nuclei is a halo of clear cytoplasm, just like the hole directly looking at you.
There is a Reed-Sternberg cell is a neoplastic cell derived from the B cell. Where is the B cell? In the germinal center of the lymph node. As you know, these cells that didn't undergo hypermutation to express their antibodies are the R-S cells. Multinucleated or could be bi-lobed nucleus. Our cells are CD15 positive and CD30 positive. When you see the R-S cell on a background of B cells, it gives you the moth-eaten appearance. Creative pathologist, whoo-hoo!
