Mercury transits to natal Neptune

Truth In Aspect Astrology/ Jewel36:06

We know that, uh, from last week's lesson, Mercury-Saturn trines are about organization and about, um, specialization, focus, narrowing things down, and grounding our ideas into practical endeavors or, um, taking action. Practical moments in our life. Um, Neptune is a very different force from Saturn, like all of us know that. That Neptune is the everything, what is all-encompassing, and it can be ultimate clarity or confusion. And, um, many times it will be confusion that gives a rise way.

So when we're dealing with Neptune, you have the unveiling of what is bigger or more, um, more what might be more true, what, uh, is a perspective that is outside the interpretation of the personal ego. So Mercury transits to Neptune, these are not easy in the sense that Mercury and Neptune, um, they are different, uh, opposite sides of a whole. We have Mercury in the frame of Virgo, sixth house, and then Neptune ruling the twelfth, Pisces. So we have what is practical, small, on one hand, coming to some kind of either, um, you know, conflicting relationship with Neptune, which is the everything, or some kind of, uh, unifying or easy relationship. But under any circumstances, under any combination of Mercury and Neptune, we are going to see the possibility for avoidance of what is sharp or possibly revealing or humbling.

So let's look at the conjunction. We are very much stimulated to think about what is larger than the everyday when we have these two meeting up. Um, or we could communicate what normally we wouldn't be able to bring into practical life. So things that typically may be beyond us in terms of description, in terms of understanding something. This can be the week where we have been trying to get something for a period of time, and then it comes together. We're like, "Oh, oh, oh, okay. Cognitively, I thought I got it, or thought, you know, I thought I was there, but now I really get it. I, I, I more completely get it." And that can be, you know, things that are about spirituality. This could be things that are about everyday things also. Things that you would think might have seemed obvious to us. It can be things such as looking around our house and noticing that we have a more chronic state of disorganization in one or more areas of our household, and then we may make the connection that, "Oh, it's coming from a state of internal disorder."

So Mercury solving problems and coming to solutions. And we can see with the conjunction, we, we have a very broad insight into how we ourselves may be contributing to causing our own problems. Um, I think that we can get externally points across that maybe we may not be able to. It's like our language or thinking gets bigger, but also our capacity to understand what may be going on, uh, within our own thinking, how our happenings can be describing what our state of internal affairs may be. So we can have some definitive moves, um, often related to how we are creating injuries for our own selves, how we're screwing ourselves. Humility is pretty internal. Humility. We can experience a lot of confused thinking that after of this transit, leading to more clear insight. Think, except for the trine, I think that that's something that's gonna happen with all Mercury-Neptune transits is that we can have a period of porousness, you know, where we're really receptive, and then we, we need to filter out over the course of days what, um, what might really be the case.

Because you have to look at, um, transits like this, uh, like in a sci-fi movie. A sci-fi movie where they raise the shields. So they, they have this force field that they somehow enact, and there is this impenetrable energy or shield put around a crack or around a planet. If those shields are down, then there's all manner of chaos because everything can permeate, can come in all at once. And these are those moments that our shields are down, and we have a lot of information. We have a lot of what normally our ego or our normal filtration process would be filtering out. And, uh, these can be extremely intuition-sharpening transits. They can also be something that leads us to make all sorts of stupid, confused decisions. Again, we have both extreme potentials with Neptune. We can do both things in the same week. So we really do need to be aware of when we're having these transits because we do not want to act immediately, especially at the conjunction and the opposition, is where we do not want to act immediately on what it is that we're receiving.

I think that it's very wise for us to allow a process of distillation to occur. When we distill something, we really get it down to its more pure essence. We get rid of the water, the extraneous properties. So to look at it like, um, we are collecting lavender. And the conjunction and the other hard aspects, they're all very similar. Uh, this is the week that we're going through, the days we're having peak transits. We are cutting the lavender spikes, and it's a process that we're going through. We can often feel like, "Well, I've cut the lavender spikes and I've got, I've got the distillate." No, you don't. You have the lavender spikes. We have to take them in, we have to dry them, we have to put them through the process of going to the distiller or extracting the properties. In the chart, we're going to need to do that. So to give this time to percolate. And we get ahead of ourselves a lot of times. So this is something that as astrologers, we need to know. So if people are coming to us and we're talking to them about these transits, this is a period, this is some of the information that we need to be aware of. We can give to people is there's a period of rest. This is what Neptune is. There's a period of consideration. There's a period of retreat that we need to allow for to decide that something is or isn't good for us or completely true. And our intuition can sharpen as a result of going through this process of filtering, waiting, questioning, um, further consideration, distilling what it is. Um, we have a lot of feelers out into the ether, especially concerning information that we can be, um, receptive to. Our intuition can be greatly, uh, stimulated.

We have to look at Neptune like an antenna that is either, you know, clear and receiving accurate information, or is receiving a lot of static. And through that static, we can sort of interpret what we, we might see. Or, um, I think all of us, you know, have seen, we probably don't see static these days, um, on television sets, but we know what it all looks like. Um, there was a lot of static on TVs when I grew up, and you can look at it, you can see images through it, you can hear things come through. We could even see that on Zoom, uh, can pixelated things a little bit, hear little bits of conversation, and we can, off, we're looking at that, we're filling in the gaps, and we may, um, or may not be right. We are more prone to being right with the sextile, but we still need to sit on it. It's something that we still need to think our way through or consider the distillation process. But we can actually be pretty, pretty accurate overall about feeling or knowing without a rational reason why, why something might be true, what might be going on someone internally, because we're picking up on everything that's not being said. We're picking up on inflection, we're picking up on body language, we're, we're, we're picking up on the subtleties, the subtleties of nature, of life, people, of, of, of everything going on around us. Sounds like someone went to my house here. H.

So we can be very open to what others' needs are, what they're telling us. It doesn't mean that we will, but we can be, um, open to, um, added information. Um, we do not have a heightened interest in detail that we usually have. Sextiles can be very much about precision. Our attention to detail with sextiles is notoriously good. That is not enhanced. I don't see, but this is not enhanced by a Neptune transit. It is not our details about daily life. It's our details about what is unseen that are very clear. So we're not drawn on to, you know, drawing sharp squares just because it's a sextile. Um, we're not going to automatically want to finish things or, you know, call meetings where we, uh, you know, come to great effective solutions. It isn't, um, something that so much enhances that like traditional thing. Well, uh, but we can come to solve problems through allowing some information or details in that if we sit on, very much like the, the square, we have a better filtration process overall. The style, um, yeah, we sit on it and look at it, examine it. We may, it may be something that we do and end up implementing or acting on. But again, we need to be careful what we're doing at that time.

Let's look at the square. We know the nature of squares is conflict, and we have conflict between everyday clarity, sharp details, solutions, and what is big and all-encompassing and confusing, confusing. Um, we are not the best communicators with the square at all. Uh, we want to get things across, but often times we are not finding language. We are not precise enough. Our precision is way off when we have this square. We can also be very much avoiding confrontation and coming to solutions that requires us to reveal something that could be potentially humiliating or embarrassing. This can happen in us, and it can happen in others. It's more specific for us to hold things back to the square, for others to hold things back to the opposition. Both can happen, but overall, we need to be more careful about us personally being the culprit when it comes to wanting to avoid, you know, unnecessary, um, redirect or necessary painful truth or information coming to the. Do not get into signing contracts, negotiating things, entering into really consequential, long-term dealings or relationships when you have this square because we tend to want to see things as they are, and we aren't as concerned as we should be when it comes to when things are going to come due. So we can have the kind of thinking like, "Well, yeah, I'll take out this credit card because I have, you know, it's interest-free for the first six months, and I'll get all of these things that I've been wanting, and then I'll pay it off real quick before I have any interest." Um, where for really think about it, you know, over the course of time, maybe that isn't the best thing for us to do when it comes to long-term solutions. Um, when it comes to taking out added debt as a way to, uh, make up current debt or to, we're not thinking long-term, that's, that's what it is. We're not, uh, really considering consequences, uh, clearly. So we want to be careful about getting ourselves into agreements. Could be not, uh, asking others around us for as much clarity as usually we would need, not reading fine print. So we ourselves can, and others can be very complicit in, um, misrepresenting ourselves or avoiding.

Okay, so we will have the intuitive openness that we can enjoy with any of the transits of Mercury to Neptune. There is more automatic confusion that we are dealing with with this one. So we can have some real clarity come in, but once again, sit on it for a while, consider, think, what, what might be more or less true. Where we have. So that brings us to. Trine. This that let me look at that. This comet. I always think that Greek is trice with the square and dealing with G is, oh my goodness, girl, that was very, yeah. Grip has always been one of my, well, my absolute worst emotion to deal with. I do it. That's where, um, but yeah, uh, dispelling of ignorance, acceptance of the end, acceptance of the finality of things, and the non-finality of things. Brief, uh, there. Things, huge things, things that we deal with. A very good way to it. Uh, so with the trine, we are prone to considering bigger things, thinking bigger thoughts, having ourselves open to more complete information, um, looking at what we might not normally notice, the subtleties of life, the orchestration of it all, the synchronicity that really underlines everything. You can be very much prone to understanding that in a rational way, really the symphony. Um, so a week where we are not, uh, intellectually quick to discount, um, we're fascinated by what is unseen, what is missed, what's bigger than what we usually interpret as real. Um, and that's the case with all of the Mercury-Neptune transits. I think the trine, we are just more drawn to wanting to understand. It's a point of, it's how we will travel, how we will escape. So we can pick up a book, we can pick up a magazine, we can find something. Something could come to us that maybe normally we would look at and say, "Oh, that's ridiculous." It may be under the trine that it can ring true. So we are not, I guess, we're not as skeptical as we usually are, but we do need to sit on it.

Um, I don't think we were as prone to potential that we are, uh, with the conjunction, the square, with the opposition. I think we need to be careful with any aspect of to Neptune. With the trine, traditionally, it's been seen in transit as something that brings us a farther-reaching perspective. So it may not be a transit, probably won't be a transit that gives us the answers to everything. With the harder transits, there's so much coming in that when the, the, the hunger or the curiosity factor is, is much larger with the hard transits. And trine, I wonder if it's just more defined. Um, all right, so let's bring it, uh, let's talk about the opposition. We really do have to be careful about who we interpret as what. Under the opposition, we can be very avoidant to what can be humiliating or too personally revealing. So our penchant for, um, projection is is huge with this one, just huge. Um, we can want to see in others what it is that, uh, makes us feel better about ourselves. Um, this is not a good opposition to come to definitive commitments under or agreements under. We can both see people as an angel or a demon, depending on who we are and what's going on with us and what the situation or condition is. Um, we are usually making some amount of mistakes that comes to our perceptions. Um, we can feel like we don't have enough, what strength or fortitude for tasks that usually are normal for us. So, you, we can lack the strength, we can lack the precision to do things like we, we normally do. We're sloppy when we have this opposition, and we can blame things going on outside of ourselves for that. And we may have some things going on. Say, we wake up and it's a, it's, it's a rainy day, then usually like, "Huh, I know I usually brush my teeth two minutes. I'm only doing it for one. It's so rainy, just got to stand it. I don't want to do what I usually do." Um, and so if we ourselves put on a happy face, if we ourselves focus on what actually does, if we put some energy and effort into it, make us feel better, we can achieve a balance here between what's going on and how that affects us and our mood, and the people that we're dealing with, and the kind of energy and effort that if we put into it, we can regain a sense of control, equilibrium, or, um, or I want to say, you know, reasonable influence over our own life. And on, you know, what's going on with other people. If we just get into the mood or to the inertia or to the weather or to the flow of things without looking at, "Oh, wait, maybe I do have some measure of control." Even though I wake up and it is a rainy, gray day, yeah, maybe I'll put on my, I'll put on my makeup anyway, and I will put on my light, I'll put on my mood light and shine it into my face so I get some extra vitamin D that maybe I wouldn't get. Make myself feel better about. So if we take some amount of effort, um, or some amount of, uh, yeah, control in our own hands, in a realistic way, um, we can be very creative this particular week. We can be much more in touch with our artistic senses. And if we allow ourselves to linger in that, and and to also to figure in, in a realistic way, to, to, uh, what is the word, to price in, to our life, the ways in which we can escape or find something better, it can be a better week for us. So we can have that good balance there between our healthy habits and the everyday Mercury and what it is that we want to really to, to, to see in a more perfect world. That's what we're ideally going for, is the balance between these things. Opp.
