EVIDENCE OF DIVINE VISITATION

Jesus Evangelical Assembly51:53

Transcription

We share this morning on evidence of divine visitation. Evidence of divine visitation.

And we take our text from Genesis 21, verse 1-2. Genesis 21:1-2 Amplified Bible, it says, "The Lord graciously remembered and visited Sarah as he had said, and the Lord did for her as he had promised." And there was evidence. Verse two says, "So Sarah conceived and gave birth to a son for Abraham in his old age at the appointed time of which God had spoken to him."

Divine visitation is an encounter with the Lord's powerful presence. And when the Lord visits, he can manifest his presence in different ways. The Lord can come as God the Father. The Lord can also come through representatives of heavenly beings. The Lord can also visit by sending his angels. The Lord can visit even by sending human instruments. It happens through divine, through physical manifestation of the Ancient of Days in Genesis 18, verse 1-4. Genesis 18:1-4 New Living Translation. It says, "The Lord appeared again to Abraham near the oak grove belonging to Mamre. One day Abraham was sitting at the entrance to his tent during the hottest part of the day. He looked up and noticed three men standing nearby. When he saw them, he ran to meet them and welcome them, bowing low to the ground. 'My Lord,' he said, 'if it pleases you, stop here for a while. Rest in the shade of this tree while water is brought to wash your feet.'"

Divine visitation can also happen through angelic messengers. Through angelic messengers in John chapter 5, verse 1-4. James chapter 5, verse 1-4 Amplified Bible Classic Edition, he said, "Later on, there was a Jewish festival, a feast for which Jesus went up to Jerusalem. There is in Jerusalem a pool, a pool near the sheep gate. This pool in the Hebrew is called Bethesda, having five porches. In this lay a great number of sick folk, some blind, some crippled, and some paralyzed, waiting for the bubbling up of the water." In verse four, it said, "For an angel," divine visitation, he said, "for an angel of the Lord went down at appointed season into the pool and moved and stirred up the water. Whoever then first after the stirring up of the water stepped in was cured of whatever disease with which he was afflicted."

Whatever is not of God around your life, the power and presence of God today will take it away. Whatever is flowing from your paternal family line that is not of God, the power and presence of the Lord, break that yoke in the name of Jesus.

Whatever is not of God flowing from your maternal family line, the power and presence of God today, break that yoke in the name of Jesus. [Applause] Whatever God has not planted in your life is removed today. Is removed today. Is removed today. Is removed today. Is removed today. It's removed today. In the name of Jesus. [Applause]

Acts 12. Acts 12 from verse 5, New Living Translation, it says, "But while Peter was in prison, the church prayed very earnestly for him." As I read this last night, it was impressed on my heart that I should tell someone that we listening to this message that it should not be late for you. It will not be too late for you. Don't be worried about how far things have gone and how seemingly discouraging it seems. The moment God shows up, everything will be completely settled. And the Lord Almighty is showing up on your behalf today. He said, "The night before Peter was to be placed on trial, he was asleep, fasting with two chains between two soldiers. All that stood guard at the prison gate suddenly." Take note of this. Something is going to happen suddenly in Nigeria. Did you hear that? Something is going to happen suddenly in Nigeria. It's going to happen suddenly and it's going to be in answer to the prayers of the church on behalf of this nation. And the moment God's answer is set to manifest, something will happen suddenly. Says, "Suddenly there was a bright light in the cell. And an angel of the Lord stood before Peter. The angel struck him on the side to awaken him and said, 'Quick, get up.' And the chains fell off his wrists. Then the angel told him, 'Get dressed and put on your sandals.' And he did. He said, 'Now put on your coat and follow me,' the angel ordered. So Peter left the cell, following the angel. But all the time he thought it was a vision. He didn't realize it was actually happening. They passed the first and second guard post and came to the iron gate leading to the city. And this opened for them all by itself."

Where you did not even knock, a door will open there. God will make up for everything you have lost. In the name of Jesus Christ. He said, "And this opened for them all by itself." So they passed through and started walking down the street. And then the angel suddenly left him. Peter finally came to his senses. "It's really true," he said. "The Lord has sent his angel and saved me."

God is going to use people to settle that prayer point. God is going to use his instrument to answer that special request. "The Lord has sent his angel and saved me from Herod and from what the Jewish leaders had planned to do to me."

Divine visitation can also happen through human instruments. God can also visit by sending his servants in first Kings chapter 17. First Kings chapter 17, verse 8-16. See God now instructing Elijah, moving him from where he was. And God obviously allowed circumstances to prepare the ground for him to be moved from Brook Cherith. All in view of a woman somewhere that God wanted to visit. By the time the Lord is done with what he's starting today in your life, even you will be shocked as to how far God went just for your sake. Just for your sake. Listen to me, someone here. There is going to be surplus support and assistance. Mark that word, surplus. There is going to be surplus support and assistance. More than enough. More than enough. God will give you harvest that will last for many more years. Today is the beginning of the last quarter of this year. Today is the beginning of the last quarter. And if God has ordained that something will must happen in a particular year, it either happens in the first quarter, second quarter, third quarter, and if it hasn't happened then certainly in the last quarter. In the last quarter, October 1st down to December 1st, we align with heaven for your sake. [Music] There will be an emergency meeting to approve something in your favor. [Music] Because of you, some other persons will also benefit from that favor in the name of Jesus. Somebody say 90 days. 90 days. Say it one more time. 90 days. Say it very loud. 90 days. Within 90 days from this service, you will see fulfillment of prophecy in your life. You will see fulfillment of prophecy in your life in the name of Jesus.

Now, this is what happens when someone is truly sent by God. Remember, he was in obedience in Cherith, and the voice of the Lord came and gave him an instruction. He obeyed that instruction. It is obedience to a divine instruction that is the reason for this service right now. As you go out of the auditorium, you look at the notice board and you see our programs for the year. There is nothing on October 1. This meeting is purely by the leading and timing of the Holy Spirit. Something is starting today. [Music] Something big is starting today. And the showers you have seen physically this morning are symbolic of a season of great overflow. [Applause] [Music] Your life will no longer be dry. Your life will no longer be barren. There will be showers of blessing upon every area of your life in the name of Jesus. I hear the spirit of the Lord say to someone here, get ready, get ready, get ready, get ready. Abuja is waiting for someone here. You will be summoned to Abuja and it is purely for something by divine favor. [Applause] In the name of Jesus Christ.

At this time, there was serious famine in the land, no rain, and it was affecting everyone. Everybody was crying, "Things are dry, things are rough." But it was at that same time God decided to single out the home of this woman. Relocated a man of God because of her. Relocated a man of God because of her. And the moment he came, all he needed to do was to just speak. Just speak because he was sent by God. Now, in verse 15, he said, in verse 16, he said, "Now there was always enough flour and olive oil left in the containers, just as the Lord had promised through Elijah." Exactly what you hear today is what you will experience as a testimony in the name of Jesus. A door has been opened for someone here. And I hear heaven say, no one can shut this door. It's your time. Please shake hands with five people and tell them, "It's your time for open doors." Hallelujah. Please be seated in the presence of the Lord.

Luke chapter 4, Luke 4:24-26. Luke 4:24-26 New Living Translation. He said, "But I tell you the truth." Jesus now was the one speaking there. "No prophet is accepted in his own hometown. Certainly, there were many needy widows in Israel in Elijah's time when the heavens were closed for three and a half years and a severe famine devastated the land." Then in verse 26, he said, "Yet Elijah was not sent to any of them. He was sent instead to a foreigner, a widow of Zarephath in the land of Sidon."

Divine visitation can also happen through signs and wonders. So be very sensitive between now and December. Be very sensitive between now and December. In Exodus chapter 3, verse 1 to 10, verse one said, "Moses was doing what? He was tending the flock of his father-in-law. It was from tending the flock that God called him into that assignment. David was also tending the flock of his father. It was while doing that assignment that God called him also into that assignment of national leadership." And take note of the two realms of their calling. For Moses, it was a call into national leadership. For David, it was a call into national leadership. But by providence, God allowed them to have some experience through caring for the flock. So there are certain things they were going to learn while caring for the flock that will become useful in the days ahead when they enter into their realm of God's calling in national leadership.

This meeting was never planned. Everything just happened and here we are. Part of what is happening today has to do with you. Two, your family. Three, the nation of Nigeria. Can I tell you what is going on now? People have almost given up hope on Nigeria. When I say people, I'm talking of even God's people have almost given up hope on this nation. That's the same state that Sarah was when God showed up in Genesis 18. So even when she heard, "Where's your wife Sarah? According to the time of life, by this time next year, she'll be carrying a baby boy." But she laughed at herself. 89 years old, 89. Her husband 99. She laughed at herself. Long before this time, she had already given up hope. 13, 12 years earlier. That was when she pushed Abraham into that option arrangement of having a baby through her. At that time, she had already given up hope. 12 years after. So when she heard, and this time they were given a deadline, so definite, so sure, so certain with finality, and she looked, I said, "How?" and she laughed at herself. Divine visitation. How? How did the angel appear? We're looking now at the ways God manifests himself in times of divine, divine visitation. He said, "He appeared to him in a blazing fire." A few minutes ago, I was sharing and I had to tell someone listening that you should be sensitive between now and December. You are going to observe something. You are going to see something. God is going to show up to you. God is going to show up to you. Amen. Be careful when you sing certain soul-rendering worship songs because one day, very soon, God is going to come down and honor the words of that song. You are going to have a personal divine encounter. I'm letting you know ahead of time so you can make the best of that day. Are you a blessed person? If you are a blessed person, wave your hands.

Now listen to what I'm about to tell you by the spirit of God. From today, from today, don't join people to run down a true man of God. Don't join the crowd. Don't join. You will, it's going to happen many times, just like the past. You may be in a sitting room, you may be in an event, and the people on your table, after talking about so many things, then they will shift, and before you know it, it may even be your own pastor. It may even be your own pastor. And the spirit of the Lord says I should tell you, don't lose the blessings of today in the days ahead of you. There are people that don't have any future, and one of the ways you know them is that they talk so loud and anyhow, so loud and anyhow. When you see someone just running down true ministers of God, a true man of God, a true vessel of God, without restraint, and he does it over and over and over publicly, you know that that person is empty. No matter what the person has, no matter the position, the person is empty. The Lord is saying, don't let anyone steal your blessing by engaging with such persons at such times. There are times to be mute, and if it persists, there are times when God expects you to kill that conversation and tell the person, "Please, let's talk about something else." People that God would draw closer to him are those who truly reverence him. And there are two ways you know somebody that has a fear of God. Two ways. Two ways. One, how does the person treat the word of God? That's the first way. You know, a man that has the fear of God. Anyone that forgets Bible, forgets Bible. And if God says so and so what, then the person has no fear of God. Number two, the second way you know someone that has a fear of God is how the person relates with true vessels of God. The spirit of the fear of God in the life of anyone will make you reverence the word and also reverence true servants of God. Those are the two ways. And if you are talking of someone that had rare encounters to date that many servants of God anywhere in the world have not had to date, that man was Moses. And why did God continue to give him more encounters and privileged close encounters? It says Moses was afraid to look at God. The Lord rescue you and your siblings from the power of the idols of your family house. The Egyptians, for someone listening to me, is the marine kingdom. The Lord deliver you and all that are connected to you from every power and influence of the marine kingdom in the name of Jesus. And whatever belongs to you that has been locked up in the vaults, in the banks of the water kingdom, today, October 1st, 2025, the Ancient of Days commands a complete release. [Applause] In the name of Jesus. The fullness of your glory is released. A fresh. The fullness of your star and destiny is released. A fresh. You will no longer be suppressed. You will no longer be limited. You will no longer be localized. You will arise and shine. You will make impact globally. Amen. In the name of Jesus Christ.

Divine visitation can also happen through dreams and visions. Can happen through dreams and visions. First Kings chapter 3, verse 5 to 15. You see King Solomon have a lifetime experience that changed everything to date. And interestingly, it happened in a dream. In first Kings 3:5 Living Bible, verse 5, it said, "The Lord appeared to him in a dream." So divine visitation can happen in a dream. That's why I warned you, be sensitive between now and December. For someone listening, I perceive that person is here physically, could be alone in the room, it could be alone somewhere, and there will be a divine encounter. "The Lord appeared to him in a dream that night and told him to ask for anything he wanted, and it will be given to him."

Now, talking about the purpose of divine visitation. In moments of divine visitation, the Lord steps into the lives of people, the circumstances of people. And often, you will see people going through unpleasant situations. And when the Lord steps in, the Lord will effect a change from negative experience to a very positive experience. The Lord will bring a supernatural solution to cases that have defied solution. And this could happen in different realms of life. And God, divine visitation can happen at the individual level. It can happen for a couple. It can happen for a family. Can happen for a team or group of people. And it can also happen for a nation. It can happen for a ministry, for different denominations and churches and groups and fellowships of people serving and worshiping the Lord.

Now, take note of this aspect of it. The timing of divine visitation. The timing of divine visitation. Persistent prayer can sometimes bring about divine visitation. But when that visitation will finally happen is at the discretion of God. In Acts chapter 12, 5 through 11 and 12, James had already been killed. And when Herod saw that it pleased the people that he killed James, ah, they were inspired now to also try and kill Peter. So they locked him up. But the church woke up from their slumber and prayed fervently and ceaselessly for divine intervention on behalf of Peter. And you see that just on the eve of the day they would have brought him out for trial, the same way they brought James out for trial and killed him, on the eve of the day it was to happen for Peter, that was the day that the Lord decided to send an angel. The timing of divine visitation is often at God's discretion. It's at God's, it's often at God's discretion. Divine visitations will usually happen at a time determined by God. So you can't give God a deadline. You can give God a deadline for an intervention, but you can't give God a deadline for a visitation. They are slightly different, the dynamics are slightly different, even though they have so much similarities in operations and manifestation.

In Psalm 102:13, Psalm 102:13 Amplified Bible, it says, "You will arise and have compassion." Can I hear that man's name here? That woman's name? "You will arise and have compassion on Zion, for it is time to be gracious and show favor to..." Can I hear that name again? Yes. "The appointed time, the moment designated has come." Who does that? Who designates the time? It is God. May God remember you. May God remember you. May the Almighty God remember you. May the Almighty God remember you today in this very service. May the Lord remember you in the name of Jesus. That song you sang, that hymn you sang, "Pass me not, O gentle Savior," God will answer that song. Amen. He will answer that prayer in the name of Jesus Christ. October 1st visitation was decided by God. Flow with it.

And when is God's appointed time? It could be described as the set time for God to do a particular thing. So help me turn to your neighbor by your left or right and say, "My dear neighbor, your set time has come." Also, when is the appointed time? It could also mean the right time, the right time. So turn to the neighbor on the other side and say, "My dear neighbor, this is the right time for God to do it for you." When is the appointed time? Also, it could also mean the best time, the best time for God to do a particular thing, the best time. And so for you, not your neighbor now, not the one on the left now, for you, this is the best time for a particular thing to finally happen. I hope you are ready for it. And the appointed time also can also mean the deadline for God to do a particular thing. The deadline. Like Genesis 18, God fixed a deadline after 24 years. After 24 years, promised Sarah and Abraham they will have a son. Confirmed it years after. Confirmed it again. But in Genesis 18, the Lord now gave a deadline. He said, "According to the time of life, by this same date next year, you would already be carrying a son." That was a deadline, and everything had to align to match that deadline. You will be shocked how things will begin to align in agreement with the prophecies of this service.

So Luke chapter 1, 5-20, it was at the discretion of God. That was the visitation of Zacharias by an angel. It was God that decided. The angel told him, "God has heard your prayer." That prayer had been going on for a long time. But the day God decided to make happen the answer to their prayer, it was God that decided. Judges 13:2-5. In Exodus 3, verse 1-10, there was a divine visitation to Moses. But it was God that chose that date. It was God that chose that date. In first Kings 17:8-16, God also decided to visit the widow of Zarephath. She was not the one that chose the date. It was God that spoke to the man of God, Elijah, "Go to Zarephath." God chose that date. In first Kings chapter 3, verse 5-15, God visited King Solomon, and the blessings he received from that, from that visitation changed everything for the rest of his life. He wasn't the one that fixed that visitation. It was determined by God.

And also take note of this. Apart from fixing when it will happen, there are certain dimensions of God's visitation that last for a season. It is God that will determine when it will start. It is also God that will determine how long it will last. How long? What was happening at the pool of Bethesda, it didn't last forever. Somehow the thing started mysteriously, and then somehow it never happened again. It lasted for a long time. It wasn't there from the beginning, and it also had an end. It is also determined by God.

Now, divine visitations sometimes will sometimes be a process. It will take a process, and this process will begin with a turning point. Can somebody say turning point? Like today now is a turning point onto the victory point. That turning point onto victory point can happen in 24 hours in certain instances. Turning point onto victory point can happen in two days. Turning point onto victory point can happen in a week, in weeks, in a month. There is usually a turning point at the beginning, and then it will finally end at the victory point. What is the victory point? That is the point where God's promise of prophecy is finally fulfilled. That is where you are marching forward now. You are entering into that realm in the name of Jesus Christ. For instance, Genesis 21, verse 1-2. That was the victory point. That was a victory point for Sarah. The prophecy was fulfilled. The promise was finally fulfilled. When what God had earlier spoken is finally fulfilled. When what God had earlier promised is physically established. In Exodus chapter 14, it was no longer "I have come down to bring them out of Egypt." Now they were now out of Egypt. You will cross over. You will cross over in the name of Jesus Christ.

What is the victory point? The victory point is that divinely appointed due season. Due season. And in your due season, you will finally receive something. In your due season, you will finally possess something. For some, it could be a reward. For some, it could be an impartation. For some, it could be a promotion. It could be a harvest. It could be a mark of honor, an act of divine honor. Numerous things could happen. It's usually a time for harvest. It's your harvest time. It's your payday. Your payday. Your payday is your time of favor. That's the victory point. And lastly, the victory point is the final stage of God's move. The final stage of God's move towards achieving a specific goal. I give you two good examples. God decided to work miracles before Pharaoh and Egypt in order to bring his people out of Egypt. But God from the beginning wasn't going to use just the first miracle to achieve it. It was a buildup. And so one after the other, but when he got to the 10th miracle, God spoke. He made it clear that this one now will be the final miracle. He said, "Now Pharaoh will let you go." So the 10th miracle of the Exodus was the victory point. The 10th. Some of you, you have already seen God in action. You have already seen God take that thing to a particular level. But everything is still not yet completely done. God is bringing you now to the victory point. For a man called Naaman, the man of God said to him, "Go to River Jordan and dip yourself seven times." That seventh time will be his own victory point. The moment the man of God spoke, that was the turning point. It was a process. And that process will finally end with a victory point that will mark the fulfillment of what was being envisaged.

Now, in closing, so we pray and receive from the Lord. Even in moments of divine visitations, take note of this. Even in moments of divine visitations, it is possible for some people to miss out. It is possible. John chapter 5, 5-7. The voice in the crowd. Jesus noticed one particular man who had been living with his disability for 38 years. He knew this man had been waiting a long time. Waiting where? Now, the pool was the place where the divine visitation was happening. The man was there. He witnessed it over and over. He saw people that were deformed suddenly receive their miracles every time an angel came in and stirred the water. But unfortunately, he could not benefit from it. So Jesus said to him, "Are you here in this place hoping to be healed?" Verse seven, he said, "Kind sir, I wait like all of these people for the waters to stir. But I cannot walk. If I'm to be healed in the waters, someone must carry me into the pool. Without a helping hand, someone else beats me to the water's edge each time it is stirred." So you can be in the midst of divine visitation and sometimes miss out. But by the mercy and favor of God, from today, you will never miss your divine opportunities. From today and for the rest of your life, you will never miss any divine opportunity. You will never miss any divine opportunity in the name of Jesus.

So, what do you need? Please see it as we're closing it up. What do you need? You need God's mercy to ensure that you benefit in the moments of divine visitation. It took the mercy of God from Jesus towards this man for him to receive his miracle. As I speak right now, some of you, you know, you have already had similar experiences. Some of you, you were even the one that introduced other people to that opportunity. At the end of it all, some got the breakthrough, and even you that brought it to their knowledge, some somehow you ended up not getting anything. And to show you that it wasn't just by chance, this pattern had played out more than two, three times for someone listening to me, I want to announce to you that today it has pleased God to reverse that negative trend in the name of Jesus Christ. So this man will always be there, but Jesus decided to show him mercy. It is one thing for a door of opportunity to be open. It is another thing to be able to personally benefit from that opportunity. Somebody shout mercy. 2025, we mark the last year you will suffer that kind of negative sequence. Receive grace to catch up and overtake. Receive grace to catch up and overtake. Receive grace to catch up and overtake in the name of Jesus Christ. You will indeed catch up and overtake in the name of Jesus Christ. Praise ye the Lord. Please sit. We're closing it off. We are going to pray and call upon the Lord to show mercy. When the Lord decides to show mercy, then it is guaranteed that that which is already before you will also benefit you.

And the last thing the Lord will have me tell everyone here today, he says, I shall announce to you that he has the power to accelerate things. He has the power to make things happen with incredible speed. He's the God that can make all things happen instantly. Instantly. It took you 9 months. 9 months before you were born. Even in some instances, eight months, seven months, but it took months. How many months did it take for Adam to appear? How many months did it take God to put Adam on the ground? There is what is called divine acceleration. And can I shock you? God can accelerate things even at the level of an entire nation. At the level of an entire nation, not just an individual's life. That the same country you saw the last time you visited, just a short while again, you are back there, and you'll be shocked at what you will see there. There is someone listening to me right now. Some people saw you this year when they traveled down and they came visiting. Hear this, by the next time they are coming, they are going to see a completely different environment around their life in the name of Jesus. Everything will be changed by God for good. There is a dimension of glory that will unfold now that will shock those who saw you before. The challenges they saw the last time they came, they will see no challenges no more in the name of Jesus Christ.

Sit down, please. Sit, please. Sit in the presence of the Lord. It says I should announce to everyone here, and this started, uh, it started, uh, December last year, that this God started speaking strongly from this dimension, emphasizing that he's the God that has the power to accelerate things. Some of you have been, you have experienced the wrong side of life. Some of you have attested wasted years, not because of your personal error, but circumstances beyond your control. And the Lord is telling you that he, do you know he can restore everything, and you will catch up and overtake those who seem to have passed you over 20 years now. And this can happen in every area of life. God will bring you into a blessing that you will need extra hands. [Applause] You will need extra hands. You will need extra hands. Are you picking it? The spirit of the Lord just reminded me to tell someone here. He said, "Remember Luke chapter 5." Peter said, "We have toiled all night and we caught nothing. But nevertheless, at your word." And when he went in, there was an unprecedented catch that his own ship was almost going down. The harvest was so much, they had to spread it into another boat. God bring you into that realm of an overwhelming overflow in the name of Jesus Christ. So I announce to you that God is the God of speed. What would have taken so long to make happen, God can do it in an incredible space of time. And the spirit of God is giving me that consolation that we should hold on to what God has promised concerning Nigeria. That God can heal this nation so fast, so fast, so fast that it will even shock every one of us. That the Nigeria now transforming to be what we have dreamt it should be is not going to take another 10 years, uh, 15 years, 20 years. It had happened in Dubai, and it can happen on a bigger scale here in Nigeria.

Stand on your feet in God's presence. Stand on your feet. Stand on your feet. Stand on your feet. Have you heard from the Lord this morning? Lift up your voice and just begin to appreciate the Lord for his word. Appreciate the Lord for his word. [Music]
