Our story today is going to be completely different from my streamlined story, and after knowing this, your way of thinking about Pablo Escobar, which you have known until today, will properly shift. You will find out in a very simplified way what the actual reality was. And believe me, the story of the world's richest criminal, the richest smuggler, is truly heartbreaking. Why? Because at its peak, it took the lives of approximately 4000 people, and how it did so. Why it did so, you will learn all of this within this story. But before that, you too can do a small smuggling job. You can become a small smuggler. Smuggle your thumb onto this like button. You will have a lot of fun. It will also praise you profusely while intoxicated and will definitely buy some goods from you daily. So, quickly do the smuggling work and offer the remaining goods to the subscribe button as well, so that it too gets intoxicated. Write "Let's Die Win" in the comments. To understand this incredibly unbelievable and very long story, we will have to go to El Dorado International Airport, Colombia. And the day was November 27, 1989, that is, the 27th of November, 1989. It was around 7:00 AM, and Avianca Flight 203 was ready to take off from here for Cali International Airport. This Boeing 727 aircraft was carrying 101 passengers and six crew members, including the flight pilots, meaning a total of 107 people. This flight was going to take these 107 people from here to Cali. The flight was to be primarily handled by Captain Jose, and he was to be assisted by First Officer Fernando. Both had considerable experience flying this flight. Meanwhile, among the 101 passengers seated behind, all sorts of passengers were on board. This included many foreigners, and many people from Colombia were also flying locally, catching a domestic flight. But there was going to be a very special guest among them, whose name was Cesar Gaviria Trujillo. He was not only a presidential candidate of Colombia at that time but also became the President of Colombia in the future. Cesar, along with his bodyguards and the entire security team, had reached the airport. They were just about to board the flight when his security team advised him not to board this flight, saying that there might be some security issues. So, please do not board this flight. Following his team's advice, Cesar abandoned this flight and left the airport. It was 7:11 AM, and Flight 203 had reached the runway and began to accelerate. And approximately one minute later, at 7:12 AM, the flight was airborne. Now, among the 101 passengers seated in this flight. Within these 101 passengers, there was another passenger named Alberto Prieto. And this passenger was not ordinary at all. He was actually a member of the most infamous cartel of Medellín, the city in Colombia at that time, which Pablo Escobar was running. Alberto Prieto was a member of that cartel, the most infamous cartel in the world at that time. And the hand luggage he brought with him, which included a suitcase, was placed in the overhead bin above him. Actually, Alberto Prieto had been instructed that he had to carry this suitcase, and it had a recording device inside. And as soon as you place the recording device inside, as soon as you place the suitcase in the overhead bin, you have to activate this recording device so that all conversations can be captured on the plane. Because all the cartel members knew that the upcoming presidential candidate was going to travel on this flight. So, he had to record all their conversations and whatever was discussed throughout the flight. So, he was ready with his recording device. He placed the recording device inside the suitcase in his overhead bin and sat down. Now, as soon as this flight took off, Alberto Prieto was instructed that as soon as the flight reached a certain altitude, he had to activate this recording device. He was given a wireless button for this. And as soon as this button was pressed, the recording device would start. Here, Alberto Prieto had not come to this airport alone. But along with him, Santo, another associate of his, another member of the same cartel, both of them had arrived at the airport with this suitcase. But Santo had a different plan. He had been told that as soon as you board the flight with Alberto Prieto, but after leaving Alberto there, you have to get off the flight. Now, Alberto Prieto did not know this. So, as soon as Santo and Alberto both went and sat in their respective seats, seats 15E and 15F, these were specifically middle seats where the wings of the aircraft are located, and fuel is also stored in these wings. These seats were specifically booked for Santo and Prieto, 15E and 15F. But as soon as both of them sat in their respective seats, Santo told Prieto that he had some urgent work and had to leave immediately. Now, as soon as Prieto heard this, he said, "No problem, it's okay, you go." I will activate this recording device after we go up. Santo had disembarked from the flight. Meanwhile, the flight was in the air. And as soon as this flight reached an altitude of approximately 13,000 feet, Alberto Prieto, holding the button for the recording device in his hand, took out the button from his pocket and secretly, without anyone seeing, pressed the button he was holding. But he had no idea that the recording device he was carrying was not a recording device but a bomb made of 1 kilogram of dynamite, which was strategically planted on this entire flight, using Alberto Prieto himself. Yes, Alberto Prieto had no idea that the recording device he was carrying was not a recording device but a bomb, and the button he would press to activate the recording device would not start any recording but would detonate a bomb, a 1 kilogram dynamite bomb. Now, as soon as he pressed that button at 7:16 AM, at an altitude of 13,000 feet, as soon as the button was pressed, a very, very big explosion occurred inside the flight. With this explosion, the upper roof of the plane was completely blown off, and the right wing also sustained significant damage. Fuel also started leaking very quickly, and with this fuel leak, the entire plane caught fire. As soon as the explosion occurred, the aircraft began to descend uncontrollably. A huge fireball was seen in the sky over the city of Soacha, and a trail of smoke followed this plane. People standing below saw a plane falling very rapidly and finally, after crossing the city of Soacha, the plane crashed in its fields, and as soon as this plane crashed, another very big explosion occurred. Meaning, the entire plane had turned into wreckage, into ashes, and the 107 people inside it had also lost their lives. This entire incident was considered an act of terrorism. But it was the first such incident to occur in all of Colombia. No one understood what to do. How did the explosion happen inside? Because until then, no one had any idea that there was a bomb inside and it had detonated. No one knew anything. Now, because it was a Boeing aircraft, the Boeing company itself became involved in this investigation. In fact, the US FBI agency was also going to be involved in this investigation. The black box and CVR, etc., recovered from the wreckage of this plane, made it clear. It was from there that it was revealed for the first time. The investigation continued for approximately one year. It was revealed that the aircraft reached a safe altitude of 13,000 feet, and a very intense sound was recorded in the CVR. In fact, for a few seconds, for a few moments, the CVR itself stopped working. Now you can imagine how powerful this explosion was, and finally, after this investigation lasted for a year, and when the report came out, the Medellín Cartel came to light. It took responsibility and explained how they had targeted this entire aircraft to blow it up in the air. And their main objective was the presidential candidate Cesar Gaviria Trujillo, who was to board this aircraft. That was their main objective. They wanted to take his life. Now you might ask, what was the motive behind all this? What was the meaning of the incident I have just told you? Actually, Pablo Escobar and his entire cartel had requested the Colombian government many times to end the extradition treaty they had made with the US, with America. Actually, an extradition treaty between two countries is like this: suppose I am here in India and I have committed a crime in another country abroad while sitting here, then people in that other country, the government there, or their investigative agencies can request the Indian government to apprehend me from here, arrest me, and take me to their country, and my further remand and investigation will continue there. I will be punished there. Now, because this treaty had been made between Colombia and the US, and Pablo Escobar, who was supplying and smuggling a very large quantity of drugs worldwide at that time, and the US, especially the US, had a very large fan base, and its biggest market for smuggling drugs was in the US, and the US was very troubled by this at that time. Now, because the extradition treaty had been made between Colombia and the US, it meant that the US could, at any time, apprehend Pablo Escobar while he was in Colombia, and arrest him. Pablo Escobar and his entire cartel were very angry about this. They started requesting the entire government to cancel this extradition treaty immediately. Nothing like this should happen. But this extradition treaty was not canceled, and to get their way, Pablo Escobar orchestrated such a massive incident that 107 people who were on the plane, and three people who were working in the fields at that time, a total of 110 people, died in this incident, in this terrorist attack, just to get the extradition treaty canceled. Although Pablo Escobar's main objective was to kill the presidential candidate Cesar Gaviria, who was supposed to board this plane, but at the last moment, they had even taken their boarding passes. They were just about to board the plane when his security team advised him not to board this plane due to some security issues. So, at their insistence, Cesar Gaviria did not board the plane and survived the incident that was about to explode in the air. The question for the whole world was, how was the bomb taken onto the plane? This was in 1989. At that time, not only in Colombia but all over the world, there were not many special security measures. People could carry whatever they wanted with them at any airport. At that time, smoking was even allowed on planes. But later, as incidents occurred, security measures increased, and security grew. So, today, it is not possible for anyone to carry a bomb or anything like that onto a plane. But after this plane explosion, it was a clear warning to the entire world, not just Colombia, but the entire world, from Pablo Escobar, that no one should come in his way. If anyone comes in his way, he will eliminate them. Now, just think about it. A man who can blow up a plane in mid-air can do anything. He has money. Why? Because he supplied drugs in such a massive quantity worldwide. Especially cocaine. He was also called the King of Cocaine, Pablo Escobar. And because of this, the US, especially the US, was very, very troubled. And he actually did everything to eliminate anyone who came in his way. Would you believe that in his entire career, he brutally murdered 4000, 4000 people? Of which I have told you one incident, and because of this, not only Colombia but people all over the world were troubled by him. But the problem here was that while living in Colombia, he had built such a massive empire that no one could touch him. No one could make an enemy of him. In fact, even the political government of Colombia was not capable of confronting him. Because any minister who spoke against him would either die within a day or two or be shot. Now you can imagine the level of reach Pablo Escobar had and how much money he possessed. You can estimate this from the fact that there are many famous incidents associated with him where he squandered money like water. A very famous incident is that he felt cold, so to escape the cold, he set fire to approximately 13 crore rupees at that time, about 13 crore rupees, so that he could warm his hands by that fire and get some heat from it. He had that level of money. Now, because he was doing illegal work, he couldn't keep money in banks. He always had to keep cash with him, and he hadn't built any lockers to keep that cash. There was a lot of money. He had built large warehouses, big godowns, and in those godowns, he had stacked that money. And every month, every month, crores of rupees were simply eaten by rats. Crores of rupees at that time, you can imagine how much value that would be today. Crores of rupees were eaten by rats, and those notes. In fact, a very famous incident is associated with it: every month, he needed at least 3 to 4 kilograms of rubber bands to tie bundles of notes, the rubber bands we put on stacks of notes, 3 to 4 kilograms of rubber bands were needed so that he could tie those notes. Besides this, you can estimate his wealth from the fact that he owned seven planes, seven aircraft, in which he used to load cocaine and supply it to different countries. Besides this, he owned islands on which he had set up cocaine factories, where a very large quantity of drugs called cocaine was produced, and he used to supply it from there. It was a very, very big empire. Measuring it today is almost impossible. In fact, the situation is still such that drums where he hid money are still being found. In some places, he had dug holes in the ground and buried drums filled with money. Even today, if someone's land is there, they dig and see those drums filled with money, filled with dollars. But along with political pressure, there was pressure from the entire world on him to stop all these activities and surrender himself to the system. But instead of surrendering himself to the system, in the 1990s, he built a jail for himself. Yes. Just imagine his status. Instead of going to any other jail or surrendering himself to the law, he built a jail for himself and went into that jail and said, "Here, now I am in jail. Now I will punish myself. Whatever the punishment, you will have to accept it." Now, what was that punishment? It was a five-star hotel-like jail he built for himself. Inside, there were swimming pools, playgrounds, discotheques, clubs, everything was inside that jail. And while living in that jail, Pablo Escobar was serving his sentence. In this jail called La Catedral, Pablo Escobar had even built many casinos for himself, where people would go and play casino. Now, just imagine, not only was this man serving his sentence in that jail, but he had also made that jail a considerable tourist spot. People would come there, people would gamble and bet there. Pablo Escobar was earning a lot of money from this. It was July 1992, and while living in this jail called La Catedral, he murdered two of his own men. And when he dumped their bodies on the road outside, at that time, the government of Gaviria was in Colombia. Yes, the same Gaviria who was not on the plane at that time. By 1992, he had become the President of Colombia. So, it was his government. Now, as soon as these two bodies, the bodies of his own two men, who had tried to betray Pablo Escobar, were found, he shot them both in his jail and dumped their bodies openly on the road outside. Now, as soon as both bodies were found, by this time, President Gaviria had had enough. Now, there were final orders for all the country's agencies: capture Pablo Escobar at all costs. So, finally, it was July 22, 1992, the day when 400 of the most expert fighters, their soldiers, from all of Colombia's security agencies, fortified the entire jail and surrounded it, and they were ready to enter this jail. Not only those 400 soldiers but also many helicopters overhead and very large tanks were brought here so that this time Pablo could not escape anywhere. But as soon as the 400 people entered this jail to capture Pablo and shift him to an actual jail. But Pablo had already escaped from there by then. He had fled. As soon as the government learned that Pablo had escaped once again, the government specifically ordered the creation of a team called Search Block, which consisted of 600 of the most expert soldiers of their entire army, their entire military.
And those 600 soldiers, their only job was to capture Pablo at any cost, wherever he was, bring him back, dead or alive. Now, all 600 of these fighters had spread throughout Colombia, and their job was to immediately shoot on sight anyone who looked like Pablo or anyone connected to him. And as soon as Pablo started realizing that his own government was openly killing his fighters or those working with him in the cartel, the Medellin Cartel, these smugglers, Pablo started making car bombs to retaliate. Now, these car bombs were moving, suicidal bombs. As soon as Pablo fixed a target, that he had an enmity with this politician or this policeman, Pablo would prepare a car bomb, put a man inside it, and that car would directly explode either at the politician's or the policeman's house, causing the death of that policeman or that politician, or while they were traveling, they would be blown up with their families. Imagine, they started blowing up politicians with their families, policemen with their families. Now, this had become a personal enmity for the policemen, the politicians, and facing them was Pablo Escobar and his entire smuggling cartel. You can gauge the level of enmity from this fact alone: Pablo had even put a bounty on heads. If any of his men killed a normal policeman, he would give $1000 in return. If he killed a high-ranking police officer, he would give $2000 in return. But at this moment, Pablo Escobar had no idea that new technologies had arrived in the world, had arrived in the market. But they were very, very expensive. But Colombia, by spending millions of dollars, bought that technology which could intercept any call, and track the location of the caller. Anyway, for a full 16 months, that man who had built his own jail, a jail better than a five-star hotel, after escaping from that jail, for a full 16 months, Pablo Escobar, who had his own seven ships, who had his own grand palaces, who had his own grand islands, who had immense wealth, that man was living in a storeroom for 16 months, hiding, sometimes in a basement, sometimes renting a room, sometimes living like beggars on the streets. In these 16 months, he only had his two bodyguards with him, who were always with him, guarding him 24 hours a day. But the surprising thing was, sometimes during these 16 months, as soon as Pablo Escobar turned on the TV, news headlines about his death would appear. People had even performed his funeral. His enemies had spread false news, saying Pablo Escobar was dead, drowned, or murdered. Hearing such reports on the news media, even Pablo Escobar himself would be surprised. He would also be very angry with himself that despite having so much, he was unable to do anything. On the other hand, his family, his wife Maria Victoria, his son Juan Pablo, and his daughter Manuela, all of them were living in a villa under police protection, somehow managing their lives. At this moment, Pablo had two options. Either he would surrender to the police and give up his life, because obviously the police knew, and Pablo also knew that if he fell into the hands of the police, they would surely take his life, as he had killed many policemen, many politicians. He would have to give his life. Or the second option was that he would keep running like this, and the police would continue to torture his family.
The day of December 2, 1993, had arrived, and the place was the Los Olivos area, a small, very posh locality within the city of Medellin. And within this area, the houses were all two-story buildings. In one of these two-story buildings, on the upper floor, in a room, Pablo Escobar woke up early in the morning. This man had employed thousands of people at one time. This man had a business worth billions of rupees at one time. This man was capable of taking anyone's life anywhere in the world at any time. But now he had rented two rooms upstairs, and he himself lived in one of them, while his two bodyguards lived with him in the other room. One of his bodyguards was named Limon, and the other was named El Errate. As he did every morning, Pablo Escobar ordered the newspaper from Limon. Limon ran downstairs, brought the newspaper, and handed it directly to Pablo. While warming his tea, sipping his tea, Pablo opened the newspaper, and as usual, there was something written about him. But this time, there was a very special news item, which stated that Pablo's family had received asylum in Germany and would be shifted there. As soon as Pablo read this news that his family, meaning his wife and two children, were being shifted from here to Germany, it meant they were completely safe, they would leave from here, and he would have no tension that anyone could harm them. They could live their lives comfortably in Germany. And for the last 16 months, to be exact, 499 days, since Pablo had been running and changing his location after escaping from his jail, he had set three rules for himself. If he called his wife or any of his family members, he would never talk for more than 3 minutes. Second rule: he would always change his phone location. And quite a few months had passed since he had spoken to his wife or children, but their number was in his mind. He had memorized the landline number. And Pablo's third rule: he had to strictly follow his other two rules. And it was these rules that had kept Pablo safe until now, that the police could not trace him. Pablo knew that if he spoke for more than 3 minutes, his location could be traced, or if he made repeated calls from the same place, his location could also be traced. Therefore, he had not even made many calls to his family in these 16 months, and not a single call in the last few months. But today was different. As soon as Pablo read that news, he became so emotional from within. Perhaps he became very emotional, or he missed his wife or his children a lot. Whatever it was, at 10:27, Pablo finally picked up his landline and dialed the number of his family that was in his mind. This number rang directly in a house in Bogota, and the phone was immediately picked up by Pablo's son, Juan Pablo. As soon as the conversation began, Pablo said hello, his son said hello. Both had become very emotional at that time. His son was 16 years old at that time. They were talking to each other, but no one had any idea that this conversation they were having was being intercepted by a very large secret bunker built right in the middle of Medellin, where machines worth crores of rupees had been brought and installed. And these machines were intercepting this call. The call went on, 1 minute passed, 2 minutes passed, 3 minutes passed. Pablo's usual limit had been crossed. 4 minutes passed, 5 minutes also passed. At 5 minutes and 47 seconds, Pablo finally cut the call. After ending the call, Pablo sat back comfortably and slowly started smiling because he felt very good at that moment, finally talking to his children after such a long time. He heard his daughter's voice, he heard his son's voice, who had been absent from his life for many months. But at this time, Pablo had no idea that this call, which lasted 5 minutes and 47 seconds, was being heard in the bunkers built right in the middle of Medellin. And now, a lot was about to happen. Yes, in those bunkers, where those big computers and that location-tracking technology were installed, those computers finally pinpointed Pablo's location within 100 meters. Meaning, in that area within Los Olivos, within a 100-meter radius, it was indicated that the call was made from here. So, as soon as the police found out that it was within 100 meters, there were only two intersections in that area. Within a 100-meter radius, there were two intersections and a total of three houses. The police understood that their target was in one of these three houses. As soon as this information was received, the search block team gathered, and their head clearly gave all instructions: "Quickly surround this area. Do whatever is possible. But this time, this time Pablo must not escape. If possible, capture him alive, but do not let him escape." The police's preparation was now a personal vendetta that was about to be fulfilled. Immediately, several trucks, carrying highly skilled fighters with their weapons, left from this bunker and headed towards Los Olivos. Meanwhile, in that house, Pablo was still finishing his tea and reading the newspaper again. And then, after finishing the newspaper, he went to the window of his room, where he could hear the sounds of children playing outside. In reality, many children were playing football on the road in front. Seeing them, Pablo might have been reminded that there was a time when he had built many playgrounds for these children, and children used to play football there too. So, seeing them, he might have been reminiscing about his past memories. Meanwhile, it was completely peaceful all around. The local people were going about their daily routines. The laundryman had come to collect clothes from everyone's homes. Children were playing. Those who were going to their duties were starting their vehicles and leaving slowly. And Pablo, standing upstairs at that time, was not Pablo Escobar. He was a completely ordinary person, missing his family, and hoping that he would escape from here safely, sooner or later.
Around 1:47 PM, the trucks that had left from the center of Medellin, now fully loaded, the first truck reached the area called Los Olivos at 1:47 PM and quietly parked to the side. The fighters who got out of it climbed onto the surrounding buildings and took their positions. In fact, it was a truck full of snipers. It contained very sharp shooters, and all those sharp shooters spread out on different rooftops, establishing their positions all around that 100-meter perimeter, and they had targets on all three possible houses, wondering which one Pablo Escobar might be in. And then the second truck, carrying the ground team, also arrived. Fighters from it also got out and took their positions around these three houses, because no one knew which house Pablo was in. All three houses were thoroughly surrounded, a complete net had been cast. It was 2:04 PM. And then Pablo again came to the window and looked outside. He saw a car parked in front of his house. Normally, it was his neighbor's car. But behind this car, he saw something very strange. Yes, a man wearing tactical gear from head to toe, wearing military-grade gear, and he was trying to hide behind that car. And as soon as Pablo saw him from that window, he must have found it strange at that moment. He must have felt scared too, wondering why this man, fully dressed in tactical gear, wearing his protective vest, and possibly with a weapon in his hand, because he might not have seen the weapon at that time. Pablo Escobar scanned his eyes across the entire road. Then he understood that it wasn't just one man here, but many people from the intelligence agency had surrounded this house, and they were preparing to attack. Pablo turned and gestured to his bodyguard Limon standing in front, "Yes, bring back your rifle." Limon ran inside, brought his AK-47 from his room, while El Errate was also ready for a shootout. On the other side, Pablo picked up his favorite 9mm pistol, checked its magazine to see if it was fully loaded, and locked it back. Finally, these three people were ready to open fire on these agency people, these fighters in front. None of these three, meaning Pablo and his two bodyguards, had fired a single shot yet. But one of the fighters from the search block, the ground staff, came out from behind the car where he was hiding, raised his rifle upwards, and fired a warning shot. This warning shot was just to indicate their presence, that yes, we have arrived here and have surrounded Pablo from all sides. But in response, Pablo did not fire in the air. Instead, the three of them together, Pablo and his two bodyguards, Limon and El Errate, took out their weapons from the window and started firing at the search block fighters they could see in front. Would you believe that in the next 6 minutes, more than 200 rounds were fired at this house, and in return, Pablo and his two companions had also run out of bullets. They were also preparing to reload their bullets, and in the next 6 minutes, it was truly a battle, which we now know as the Battle of Los Olivos. Yes, El Errate, who had his own AK-47, attached an extended magazine to it and, completely openly, without any fear, started firing his AK-47 indiscriminately down from the roof of this room. He emptied the entire magazine at the fighters in front. A house that was completely quiet just a few minutes ago, a neighborhood that was completely quiet, that posh area had now become a battlefield. The sound of bullets all around, and this house was literally riddled with holes by the search block fighters in front. And seeing such a fierce attack on themselves, Pablo Escobar understood that he could not win, because this time the search block people had come fully prepared, and this time their numbers were also very high. And at this moment, finally, Pablo Escobar looked at his other bodyguard, Limon, standing beside him, and said, "No, we cannot win against them. We have to do what we have done dozens of times before." Yes, we have to escape from here. But how? He used to escape before. Whenever Pablo clashed with the police, he had an exceptional ability to escape. He didn't know where he learned this art from. But every time he managed to escape from the police. But how this time? This time he is already surrounded from all sides. But still, Limon said, "Yes, let's escape from here." And Pablo and Limon both went to the roof of their house first, where El Errate was fighting and had now died. His body was lying in front. His dead body was lying there. But ignoring El Errate, both of them jumped from their roof to the roof of the adjacent house. Actually, let me tell you, these were not normal roofs. Not like the roofs of our houses. Here, these were clay tile roofs. You must have seen huts, how they are shaped, and the thatch placed on them is made of clay tiles. Thin tiles, curved, and placed one on top of another, a roof is made. Pablo Escobar had mastered running on these roofs. Literally, he had become a pro at these things. Anyway, Pablo and Limon, jumping to the side roof, started running forward, and finally, three bullets hit Limon directly, who was running behind Pablo, guarding him. These three bullets hit Limon from behind, and Limon collapsed right there. But at this moment, Pablo did not look back even once to see how Limon was, how he was shot, whether he was okay or not. Pablo continued to run forward. After Limon was gone, a bullet grazed Pablo's leg and went forward. It hit somewhere ahead. But it caused a wound in Pablo's leg, and blood was flowing. But Pablo still did not stop. Imagine, a 51-year-old man, who had also become a bit fatty, had also gained weight, but still, at the age of 51, he was running so fast, at such speed, on the roofs of houses. And then came a moment when Pablo also felt that yes, he had escaped. He had finally broken through the cordon of these search blocks and escaped from here. But no, this was just a few seconds of happiness that was fading in front of Pablo. And after this, a very famous photo. This photo that is now appearing on your screen, this photo was captured, which made headlines all over the world. How Pablo was jumping from the roof of one house to the roof of this house, trying to escape from here. But by then, the search block fighters had also reached here, running, and at this moment, they were about to capture Pablo Escobar for the first time. Just 10 seconds after this photo was clicked, Pablo Escobar was lying on the roof of this house, and search block fighters were all around him, pointing their rifles at him. The people standing around Pablo Escobar were the ones who had been searching for this man for the last 499 days, and not only were they searching, but the governments of many countries were after him, and finally, he was lying in front of them on the roof of a house. Blood was flowing from his head and also from his leg. But still, there was no fear in Pablo Escobar's eyes. He was still alive. He could see all the people standing in front of him. Still no fear. Only what must have been coming to his mind at that time was how his entire empire would now end, how his story would end, how he would die. Now, what happened after this, there are two versions. Now, what you believe is up to you. The government, in its official statement, said that the first final fatal shot was fired by a sniper from a distant rooftop with his assault rifle, which directly hit Pablo Escobar, who was lying on the roof at that time, in his chest. But a second version was told by the fighters who were standing around him at that time, that one last time, Pablo took out his 9mm pistol from his belt and first pointed it towards the four fighters standing in front of him, but instead of firing, he turned the pistol towards himself and finished the job. And finally, at 3:15 PM on December 2, 1993, in the Los Olivos area of Medellin, Pablo Escobar lay dead on the roof of a house. His life had ended there. The richest smuggler in the entire world, who had wealth worth trillions of rupees, or a father who just wanted to hear his children's voices, who just wanted to talk to his wife, and that became a death sentence for his life. The happiness he desired, the 5 minutes and 47 seconds of happiness he received, he had to pay for with his life. This news spread like wildfire all over the world. Heavy crowds had gathered on the streets of Medellin. Many people were celebrating, while another large section was crying for him, because for many people, he was a monster with whom they had enmity. He was a demon. But there were also many people whose livelihoods depended on Pablo Escobar. Who considered him their guru, their hero, their god. Undoubtedly, at this moment, Pablo Escobar was gone, but the empire he had built still exists in Colombia exactly as it was. As soon as Pablo Escobar died, many other cartels came and filled that void. Cocaine still leaves Colombia in the same way, spreads all over the world. People still consume it today. So, this was the end of Pablo Escobar. I am sure you have seen many documentaries, many videos, heard many stories related to Pablo Escobar. But no one has ever told you in such a simplified way. People tell it in a very roundabout way. But this is what actually happened, this is the official version. Everything else is fabricated. So, tell me, what do you have to say about Pablo Escobar? How do you see him? Please share your thoughts in the comments below. And there are many documentaries, videos, photos related to him. There is nothing special that I have that is unique. Nothing. But what I have, I will put it in the Instagram broadcast channel. This is my Instagram ID. You will also find its link in the description. Please follow me there. You can also talk to me there. And tell me, what should the next video be about? Should I cover more cartels, or should I move on to wars? Suggest topics below. By the way, shoutout to the previous video goes to Nargis Bano, and comment "Pick me to get a shoutout in the next video." See you in the next video. Thank you for watching this video.
