Okay, we're gonna know, we're gonna get up. What does a project manager do?
Well, to start, I keep my entire team organized and on track. My day starts off pretty simply by making sure I'm answering emails, going through my incoming tasks, and looking at our calendar to make sure that nothing is off track.
Managing timelines and making sure communication is clear across our team on what is due is probably the biggest thing that I do. My biggest goal as a project manager is to make sure that we're delivering tasks either on time or ahead of time.
I not only know the workload that my team is doing, but know how much more they can take on. It's also my job to make sure to know who else on other teams needs to know what our projects are doing.
I like to maintain an 80/20 workload. What does that mean? You fill 80% of your plate with things that you know you're gonna have to do and leave the 20% for all of the things that come up because the things always come up.
I work with the director of our team to make sure that
