Can I show you underrated AI side hustle ideas that everyone is ignoring, even though they are super profitable right now?

Seriously, everyone is so focused right now on super trendy AI tools like Open Claw and other AI agents that these opportunities are just completely slipping under the radar. So, let's get started with the first underrated AI side hustle right now, which is motivational kids books. Yep.

As I'll explain shortly, kids motivational books like this one here have exploded in popularity recently. And if we take a look at the public preview, you'll see that these books, they're quite simple. They are just short stories, most likely AI generated with images that are also most likely AI generated. And check this out. If we take the daily bestsellers rank for it and pop it into a book sales estimator tool, you'll see it estimates it's selling 2580 to over 3,700 books per month. Wow.

And that's just one of many books that this no-name author has self-published following the same formula of short stories aimed at boys and girls of different ages. So, I'll tell you what, I got curious. I popped each of these books daily bestseller ranks into an estimator and combined it estimated that this creator is selling 16,700 to over 21,000 copies per month. Kind of crazy, right?

And we can work out the estimated profit margin, too, because these books are being self-published through Amazon service KDP. You just upload a PDF of the book that you want to sell and Amazon will turn it into a listing. And then each time a customer buys a book, their print on demand service will print your book and ship it out while you get to keep the difference as profit. So using Amazon's profit calculator, we can estimate each book is earning roughly on average $6.62 per sale after Amazon's fees, which if you do the math comes to a nice estimated monthly royalty check for this creator. And this isn't even accounting for royalties for Kindle ebook sales, too.

And what's even crazier is that this is just one of many no-name authors having success with this format. But you think about it, right? It's actually not so crazy because, as I said, this niche has been exploding in popularity this year. Because you see, these books are social and emotional learning products which help kids gain confidence and resilience. And the market for this product niche has rapidly grown this year in 2026 and it is set to quadruple within the next nine years too. So the people who are hopping on this trend now and creating books in it are taking advantage of being able to ride this trend's massive upward swing in demand.

But yes, let me now show you how I made my own book in this niche using this AI tool workflow. And the first tool in our workflow is Claude for market research. Because you see, let me show you this book. It's another motivational kids book that was successfully launched 2 months ago. And as you can see, it's quite specific. It's aimed at black youth. Well, this is a niche demographic that often gets overlooked, which means that there was at the time of this book's creation a gap in the market. There was demand for motivational books aimed at this specific niche, but not many books to fill it. So, I asked Claude to do research and to look for other low competition, but high demand niches like this. And out of the demographics and niche gaps that it spotted, this one here interested me the most since, fun fact, ADHD does run in my family. So, I did a quick search and unsurprisingly, while lots of generic motivational stories existed for kids, when I looked for ADHD themed books specifically, there were only two. And both had positive reviews and sales, which makes sense. People wanted these books, right? And so, they bought whatever books were available. So, you know what? Since there are so few competitors in this specific niche, if we were to make a book in it, it should in theory rise to the top of Amazon search results for related keywords really quickly, which in theory would get us free traffic, free marketing, and free sales for our book. No paid advertising required if we didn't want to run ads.

Then next up in our workflow, I once again used Claude, but this time to help me generate the short stories. And I asked it to make the story fairly short, around 1,200 to 1,400 words long, since kids books use bigger fonts and have fewer words per page. And here's a quick tip. When drafting stories with Claude, I like to use the cheaper model, Sonnet, which uses less tokens and is cheaper. And then I come back and upload my draft story back into Claude, but switch to the more advanced model, Opus, to polish and edit it. The Opus model uses the most tokens and eats your usage faster, but I think it's worth it for that extra polish.

Then next up in my workflow, I'll be using Google's tool, Flow. Anyone with a Google AI subscription can use this. Flow is Google's all-in-one image and video generation tool. This lets you access their image and video models. So, I use their image model, Nano Banana, to make a bunch of square shaped images for me. And out of all of these, this one was my favorite. Then, because I wanted more images for my story, I re-uploaded this image as a reference and got it to generate another image for me, reusing the same character as a style reference. And it made several great images like this one here, while also keeping the character design consistent.

Then, once I had my images, I moved on to the next tool in my workflow, Canva, an AI powered graphics editor to create and design my final PDF book file. And to do that, I just started a new book size blank project. And then in the settings menu, I turned on the book page margins option. Then I just used canvas drag and drop elements to design my book. For my first page, I came to the text tool and added in the title of my story and I picked a fun font for it. Then I came to the elements option and came to Canvas image frames option and here I picked a fun shaped frame. Then I uploaded my AA image that I made with Google Flow and I dragged and dropped it into the frame and as you can see by doing that it turns it into that fun shape. Then I came back to the text settings and added in a text box. And here I pasted in the first section of my story and I picked an easyto- read font. And then well that was pretty much it. Once I'd finished designing it, I clicked to duplicate the page. And then I went through editing this page and adding in the next page of my book. And I just repeated this process until I had my book finished, ready to export as a PDF to then list and sell on Amazon along with this cover image that I also made using Nano Banana and Google Flow as well.

Oh, and by the way, for this video, I don't have time to go into specific technical details such as downloading this book as a PDF file, uploading it to Amazon Optimize for free search engine traffic and things like that. But if you would like a full step-by-step tutorial along with all of those technical details for any of the side hustles that I'm going to talk about in this video, please just let me know in the comments because if I get enough comments and enough demand for a tutorial, then I can go ahead and make it. But either way, back to the video.

And let's now move on to the next underrated AI side hustle, woven blankets. Yes, this is a super cool side hustle which, as I'll explain, has only recently become accessible to most people because of advanced AI tools that have been released. Plus, they're super trendy. If you head on over to Etsy, you'll see that right now, woven blankets are a very popular product with customers. For example, you take this woven blanket here. It's been designed to be a graduation themed gift. And look, five people have bought it today. And take a look at this one. This blanket is very cool. It is dragon themed. And well, take a look. The Etsy research app Allura estimates it's made over $64,000. And check out this one. It's a fun, spooky, witchy book themed blanket. And if we also check it out on Allora, you'll see that it estimates that it has made even more, over $64,000.

And this, by the way, is just one of many different woven blankets that this Etsy store is selling. This is a pretty new store, and woven blankets are their main specialty. And as you can see, the store has just been open for 1.5 years. And the store has also had over 8,000 sales. Wow. Plus, these are also selling well over on eBay. Take this store here. It specializes in print on demand blankets with many of their most popular being woven blankets. And look, this store has had over 115,000 sales. Crazy.

So, of course, the next question is this. How are people using AI tools to make and sell these blankets? And it's a good question, and it's by using this website here, Printify. Printify is, as my longtime subscribers know, the most popular print on demand website and app with integrations that let you list the products you create and sell onto the most popular online marketplaces, including Amazon, eBay, and Etsy. They have a huge list of blank products that you can customize and sell, such as, surprise, surprise, woven blankets. All you do is upload a picture or design you create onto it. Then you list it for sale online, such as on Etsy, eBay, or Amazon. And each time a customer buys a blanket, your design will get printed onto the blanket, packaged up, and shipped out to the customer. And you get to keep the difference as profit. And right now, stores are selling these at a huge markup. Like a huge markup. You can see Printify sells these for $21 to $45 depending on the size with Printify Premium. And that on Etsy, these same size blankets are selling for between $80 to even over $140. As I said, it's kind of crazy.

So, first up, to make and sell a blanket, you'll need a cool niche picture to print onto them. And again, I came back to Google Flow, which is Google's all-in-one image and video generation tool, and I used their image model, Nano Banana, to make a bunch of rectangle images for me. And out of these, this one was my favorite. So, I downloaded it at max resolution. Then, next, I needed to use AI to upscale this image to be big. And I mean big. Because you see, a 60in x 80in blanket is a massive printing area. To print an image in high definition, 300 dpi onto it, it would need to be 18,000x 24,000 pixels. And I'll be frank, it used to be impossible to get images that big. You would have had to have paid an artist between $200 to $500 per image just to redraw a picture that you wanted at this much larger size. But now, advanced AI upscaling tools like A1D make it easy. You just upload your AI image into it and then click to upscale it to either eight times or 16 times and then that's it. It's pretty cool. The AI effectively redraws your image from scratch again, but it does so at this much larger image size, drastically increasing the image resolution. And so now we can come and upload this picture into Printify. And you'll see that it's been uploaded at 300 dpi in high resolution. Nice. Now you can list it for sale in an Etsy and eBay store.

And onto the next AI side hustle that everyone is ignoring, which is this. Starting an AI book agency. Yes. So, here's the thing, right? Learning how to use AI to create content for books isn't just useful if you plan to make and sell your own books on Amazon. Nope. It's also useful if you like to start a service agency. For example, this here is an AI book service agency here on Fiverr that is growing very fast. It offers multiple services including book formatting, image generation, and coloring page generation. This service is their most popular. As you can see, they currently have two orders in the queue. And yes, before anyone asks, they have confirmed themselves in their service description that they are AI generated. They are not hiding this. But you know what? People don't care. They are still spending $200 to $400 per order buying these coloring pages and leaving glowing five-star reviews. A lot of people will probably be surprised because they'll think, "Oh, why don't these people just generate their own images?" And it's because of this time. It takes time to both generate them and to also get good at learning how to prompt an AI to generate the exact sorts of images that you like. For many people who are busy and have a dream book that they want to create, they are happy to pay someone who will bring their exact vision to life. Whether they use AI to do that or not.

And actually, all of this talk of coloring books reminds me of the next AI side hustle, which is this starting a cozy coloring channel. You see, here's the thing, right? Across all of the major short form video platforms, Instagram reels, YouTube shorts, and Tik Tok, you'll find a niche which is thriving right now is people who are posting cozy coloring videos where they color in coloring pages. These videos are getting tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands to millions of views. And the way that these videos have made money historically is pretty simple. Inside of the channel bio, they will post a link to a beacon style page where they will place affiliate links to Amazon linking directly to the markers and the books that they are coloring in. And each time someone buys a book, they get a small commission, usually about 30 to 50 cents per sale, which obviously is not much at all. The commissions for coloring books are small because it's a lowric product. Now, usually these channels don't mind. They have such a wide reach. All of the sales do add up quickly. But still, they'd make even more if they could earn more money per sale per book, which is exactly why I think this new product that Printify has released, a print on demand coloring book, is a really interesting opportunity. Because you think about it, right? As we just established, AI image generators such as Google's Nano Banana are fantastic at generating coloring pages. So, what you can do is you can use AI to help you create your own pages, which you then upload into Printify and turn into your own coloring book. Then, using Printify Shopify integration, you could set up a simple Shopify store, which currently costs just $1 to set up and open, where you list your own coloring book for sale. And then you could start your own Instagram, YouTube shorts, or Tik Tok coloring channel where you film yourself coloring in your pages and then link directly to your coloring book in your store and earn much more money per purchase.

Although in saying this, I've personally made a lot of money from affiliate commissions. And I can tell you affiliate marketing gets much more lucrative once you start promoting higher ticket products. Which brings me on to the next AI side hustle on my list, which is this affiliate review websites. So, let me show you an example. If we come to Google and do a search for the best carry-on luggage review comparisons, we'll get several affiliate review websites recommended, such as luggage council, a website dedicated to reviews and comparisons of luggage and luggage accessories. And if you scroll through the page that Google showed us, you'll see that it just contains an outline of the most popular bags along with links to where you can click to buy each bag directly over on Amazon. And if you click these links and buy something, the website owner earns a commission through Amazon's affiliate program. And affiliate commissions can add up. I know this because, as I said, I am an affiliate marketer, too. Inside of my YouTube videos, I include affiliate links to any tools or apps I use in my tutorials, and every day I earn affiliate commissions passively. However, in my experience, the content that converts the best isn't actually tutorials. It's reviews. But you don't just want to review any type of product. You want to ideally be reviewing a product which has high demand yet low competition on Google.

So, here's an example. Take kneeling chairs. Some people like me actually prefer to kneel instead of sitting when working. We are a niche but growing target market of customers. And well, check this out. If we come to Google and do a search for kneeling chair product reviews, guess what? There are no websites dedicated to kneeling chairs and accessories. So instead, Google was showing us the next best thing, which was general ergonomics or chair websites that discuss kneeling chairs. So you can see the potential here, right? There is an opportunity for someone to come in and create this website and to then jump to the top of the search results for related keywords as competition for keywords related to this niche are easy since as we've established there are no real dedicated competitors. Essentially, you could say that we have uncovered a gap in the market. We've come up with a website idea that people in this niche would like to have, but that doesn't yet exist. meaning there is an opportunity for us to come in and use AI vibe coding tools to make it.

But low competition is not the only reason why I think that this is such an interesting opportunity. Nope. It's because good kneeling chairs often aren't cheap. They're priced mid to high tier. So, for example, this is the kneeling chair that I showed off earlier. It's one of the most popular kneeling chairs and it's currently selling for $435. And the affiliate commissions for the store are very nice, too. They have their own dedicated affiliate program paying up to 22% commission per sale. So, you think about it, right? With a 22% commission rate, that means you're earning around $95 commission per sale. And that can add up fast.

However, before AI tools made it easy to create websites like this, the biggest barrier to turning a good idea for a website into reality would have been time. Even if you had paid for an expensive website template, putting it together would have been very timeconuming. But now, of course, all-in-one vibe coding tools like Lovable and Base 44 make this much easier. These tools combine AI coding LLMs like Claude Code with image generators like GPT2 into a single beginnerfriendly rapper. Base 44 is my personal favorite vibe coder. So, of course, I'll include my affiliate link to it in the video description below if you want to support the channel by using it to try out their free plan to vibe code a website. But yes, I basically just explained to it that I wanted to create a review comparison website for kneeling cheers and related accessories. And after following up with some extra questions to ensure it understood my request, it made a plan for me. And once I approved the plan, the AI went to work designing and coding together a website optimized for Google search engine. It took a few minutes and then boom, it was done. As you can see, it made the website layout for me. And to help me visualize what it created, it filled the website in with some filler text and filler images. And so now all I had to do was go through each page and then come to the AI and tell it what swaps that I wanted it to make. So for example, you can see here that I got it to switch out the filler image with an image of a kneeling chair. And you can see here that I got it to switch out the filler text for me with new text that I had created. of course with the help of Claude and it made the swap no problem. And so by doing this I was able to go through each page it made for me like this one and add in my new content ready for launch. And launching this website was also really simple since I'm on the builder plan which includes web hosting for all of my websites. All I had to do was go in and purchase a domain name which right now costs just $1 if you buy it through base 44. And then I just had to switch it from private mode to public mode. And my new affiliate website was live, ready to be indexed by Google. Yay.
