I am going to spend the entire day going through drive-thrus. Is it good for my diet? Absolutely not. But I hope by the end of watching this video, you are much more comfortable and confident going through a drive-thru in the US. So, wish my stomach luck.

Good morning. Will you be using your mobile app? No, I will not be. Yeah, you're ready. Okay, I'll do a sausage, egg, McMuffin meal with orange juice, please. And sausage, egg, and cheese Mc Griddle meal also with orange juice, please. And can I just ask, how long do you serve breakfast? So, for Monday to Friday, the weekday, it's going to be 10:30 stops. And then for the weekends, it's 11:00. Okay. Wow. So, we made it just in time, huh? Yeah. Okay, perfect. I think that'll be it for us today. We almost didn't make it in time. People love a Mickeyade's breakfast.

Sometimes in the drive-thru lane, if there's cars backed up behind me, I feel like I need to hurry. It's a very high pressure situation. Sometimes I don't catch what they say, and I just ask them to repeat themselves when that happens. Usually, I'll say, "I'm sorry, I didn't catch that." Or, "I'm sorry, what was that?" And they're usually very friendly and have no problem repeating themselves. So don't be shy to ask somebody to repeat themselves if you didn't understand.

Hi, good morning. Good. How are you? Good. 1704 for you. There you go. Have a good day. Thanks so much. You too. You had such a lovely smile. Hello. Good morning. Thank you. Have a great day. All right. Thanks. You too. Impeccable service. Fast with a smile. Well done, McDonald's. I hope they threw some ketchup in the bag. Excuse me. I just ordered through a drive-thru. Uh, can I get some ketchup? Ketchup to go. Thank you. Have a good one. You too. Good job. Woo. Pro tip, always ask for sauces. You can't assume they're going to put them in your bag.

If you get McDonald's breakfast, this is the only order you need to know. Sausage, egg, McMuffin. Mhm. Nice and salty. You got the double protein with the egg and sausage. I love it. Mukbang. Mukbang. Breakfast hit the spot and it was actually pretty filling, but I need a boost of energy. So, we're heading to Starbucks to get our caffeine fixed. I have kind of a lovehate relationship with Starbucks because I love that there are so many options and it's very customizable, but it also makes ordering a little bit trickier. Even I get flustered sometimes when ordering in Starbucks. Wow. No line at Starbucks. This is a miracle.

Hello. What sounds good for us? Um, could I please get a minute? All right. Thank you. Okay, I think we're ready. What can I get for you today? Can I please get one iced vanilla latte? One iced vanilla latte. Most certainly. What size is it? Paul, please. Okay. Is it possible to get whipped cream on that as well? Whipped cream. Sure. And I'll do an order of the egg white bites. Order of the egg white bites. Yep. And I will also do an iced matcha latte. Sauce is this. I'm sorry. Sauce. Oh. Um, I'll do a tall for that as well. Do you have sugar-free vanilla syrup? Yes, I do. I'll do one pump of that, please. Are we keeping the classic? Um, sorry. You like the classic search to stay in here or No, sir. It's classic. That's normally in the ice match as well. Would you like to keep the classic or no? No, I'll get rid of the classic and just put in the vanilla. All right. Anything else? Nope. I think that should be it. 1659. Oh, I'm so sorry. Is it too late to switch something? What are we switching? Can I do almond milk in the matcha latte? Almond milk in the matcha latte. Okay. 1650. Thank you so much. No problem. Ordering at Starbucks is not for the week. Hi. Thank you so much. Can I get a straw for this as well? Thank you. Appreciate it. Let's see. H maybe I should have kept the classic syrup. It's a little bit bitter. A little bit. Tastes healthy. All right, let me try your whipped cream latte here. M I ordered this one, right? I think yours was the matcha latte. I'm pretty sure you wanted the matcha. Dang, I got good taste. Wow. Korea Starbucks has better coffee. I don't know what it is, but the coffee seems much stronger in Korea. I thought that at a franchise like Starbucks, it would be the same, but the coffee in America is very weak. It's very watered down. I miss a nice strong Korean iced Americano. I know I just had breakfast, but one of the most popular food items at Starbucks in the US are these egg white bites. They say that they're a little bit healthier since it's full of protein and low fat since they don't use the yolk, but this is what they look like. Try a bite. M. This is a solid breakfast choice at Starbucks. It's so soft and fluffy. Really delicious.

It is already lunchtime, so we are pulling up to Taco Bell, one of my personal favorite fast food restaurants. Haven't been here for a hot minute, though, so I'm going to need a minute to look over the menu. Hello. How can I help you today? Hi. Um, can I have a minute, please? Let me know when you're ready. Okay, thank you. Can I have one chicken quesadilla? Oh, okay. Do you still have the cheesy gordita crunch on the menu? Yes, we do. Okay, I'll have one of those and I'll do a Baja Blast. Just a small one, please. The soda or the freeze? I'll do the soda, please. Okay. You know, our mediums are a dollar right now. Oh, are they? They are for happy hour. Oh, okay. We'll do a medium then, please. All righty. Thanks for letting me know that. Not a problem. Everyday from 2 to 5. Oh, nice. And one crunch wrapped supreme, please. And one nachos and cheese as well. Gotcha. And can I get an assortment of your hot sauces? Maybe just like one of each. Sure can. And I think that'll be it for today. Does everything look correct on your screen? Yep. That looks good. It's going to be 2095. Second window. Okay. Thank you. You're welcome. Are we hungry? Nope. Oh, 2095. Thank you so much. You're welcome. Appreciate it.

When I was in college, Taco Bell was our favorite late night drunk food. After a night at the club, we would hit up Taco Bell. We ordered a lot. I don't even know where to start. Crunch wrap supreme quesadilla. They use Did you see that? I squirted that all over. See, Taco Bell is delicious, but not good for when you're actually driving. I'm making a mess. Taco Bell rocks. My husband and I went on a road trip across the US years ago, and we were extremely broke at the time. So, we were eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for every meal. But if we were feeling like splurging a little bit, we would go to Taco Bell. That should tell you how broke we were. We thought we were being fancy when we bought a $1 taco. Rough times.

Got to prepare for dinner. One lap around the car. Cold. Get back in. I feel sick. No one should eat this much fast food in a day. I think I need to sleep this off. A few moments later, I took a nap. I'm on my way to get dinner. Some people run marathons, set big goals for themselves. I set my goals really high here with um trying to get fast food every meal. Anyways, we are on our way to Panda Express for dinner. I've had enough Western food for the day. So, Asian food for dinner it is. Well, technically I guess this is still American Chinese food. Oh I was gonna go in the out. Did you catch that on camera? Pro tip number one of going through a drive-thru. Go the right way. Don't enter through the exit. Okay, that was a close call.

Hello. Welcome to Panda Express. Would you like to try your orange again today? Um, yes, actually. I will get some orange chicken in a bowl. Fried rice or chowine? Chowine, please. Yeah. Anything else? Appetizers or drinks? I'm sorry. What was that? Anything else? Appetizers or drinks? Sure. I will get some cream cheese raons, please. You want to order cream cheese? Yep. And I think that should be it. Oh, I'm sorry. And a Coke Zero. Medium or large? Medium, please. Anything else? Nope. That'll be it. Would you like to donate a dollar to your hospital? Sure. Go ahead. Thank you so much. Please. Thank you. You're welcome. You donated a dollar for something. It's an easy decision when it's my husband's card. So, do you have hand rewards? No, I don't. 1489, please. Thank you. Is this a medium? Dang. American medium. I almost want to get a large just to see how big it is. Thank you. Thanks so much, YouTube. Pro tip, always check your bag before driving off because the last time I came to Panda Express, they gave me egg rolls instead of crab raccoons, which is not a huge deal, but it's not what I ordered. So, always double check what you're getting.

Hello, Miss Wendy. We are at our final stop of the day, Wendy's. We came here to pick up dessert. Their dessert is so good here that before I left the house, even my dad and stepmom requested that we get them something as well. Their popular dessert here is a frosty, which is basically a milkshake. Thank you for choosing Wendy. How can we help you today? Can I do two of your chocolate frosties? And do you also have a strawberry frosty? No, we just got chocolate and vanilla. Okay, I'll do two chocolate and one vanilla, please. Two chocolate, one vanilla. Yes, please. What's high? I'll do a medium, please. Anything else? Nope, that's it. 8:55. Thank you. Thank you. It'll be 855. Do we want a drink carrier? Actually, I'll take one, please. Thank you. Have a good night. I'm so excited to eat my Frosty. I loved Frosties as a kid. They're the perfect summer treat. And a pro tip is to dip your fries in the Frosty. Sounds really odd. It's just a really great combination. Also, another tip while ordering, you can say the number of the menu item. So, on the menu, there's usually a number one or a number five. And you can just say, "I'll take a number five." and they know what that is. That's kind of an easier way than having to say the name of every single food item that you want. Also, if you order something and you want fries in a Coke, you can say that you want it as a meal. For example, you could say, "I want a cheeseburger meal." That means I want a cheeseburger with fries and a drink.

I come bearing gifts. No strawberry. Don't drop it. So, I got vanilla. Or you can take the chocolate one, too. It was too cold to eat in the car at night, so I brought it inside. But it's never too cold for ice cream. I'm going to start with dessert first this time. This is all I need. They used to be a lot more generous with their portions. Now, they're a little bit more stingy. Still the same great taste, though. I must have eaten at least 5,000 calories today. So, it wasn't the healthiest day for me. I don't recommend it. But if you visit the US, I do recommend going to at least a drive-thru or two because I think it's a great way to practice your English speaking and listening comprehension. You guys got this. Let's see what my fortune is. you will hit 2 million subscribers on YouTube this year. I'm just kidding.

Good morning everybody. I am in full tourist mode today in New York City. So, I'm going to take you to all the biggest sites and attractions that the city has to offer. I am starting my day off at Liberty Bagels because bagels are a staple in New York City. Liberty Bagels is a machep or a very popular spot for bagels here in the city and the line already looks like it's around the block. I've spent so much time in this city waiting in lines, but I'm willing to do it again here in the morning for one of the best bagels in the city. Should we just go somewhere around the corner?

Hi. These two and then um one rainbow bagel with the birthday cake frosting, please. Toasted? Yes, toasted. That's it. What's your name? Callie. Callie. Yeah. Can I pay cash? Thank you so much. Callie right here. Kelly. A right. Thank you. You too. I got carry out and came to Central Park. Central Park is so iconic that they even filmed the intro to Friends here. New York is such a high energy city, so the park is a great place for locals and tourists to come and get some peace and quiet. They have a lot of seasonal activities and events here. In the summer, they have concerts, and in winter, you can go ice skating here, which I did years ago, and it was lots of fun. Personally, I recommend grabbing a bite to eat and having a picnic at the park or just going for a nice stroll or jog in the park because there is so much to see and explore here.

Now, I'm going to dig into my bagel. It's kind of funny watching all of the joggers go past me while I eat my huge bagel. The big reveal. Usually my go-to bagel is in everything bagel because I tend to like salty and savory food, but this looks extremely sweet. I think kids will love this bagel. I don't think the bagel is flavored at all. I'm pretty sure it's a plain bagel, but the cream cheese kind of tastes like cheesecake filling. M. If you go to Liberty Bagels, I do recommend this because it's the most popular menu item and it's very good. Keep up, boy. I'm walking faster than a New Yorker trying to make this reservation. You're slowing me down. Come on. Don't ask questions. No talking. Just running. I do not feel good. A sugary bagel and a jog.

We made it on the dot for our 11:30 reservation. Hello. We got an online ticket. How many? You have your wristband? Not yet. Thank you. Yeah, you can go in if you have your wristband. We reserved online, which was super convenient, and they gave us our wristbands. Now we're just waiting in line. Welcome. I'm your impressive. You have a lot of Korean visitors here. Well, a lot of my friends are from all around the world. Okay. So, that's how I pick it up and use it here. Okay. That's so cool. Very diverse group of friends. That's cool. Originally Korea? Yeah, I am. He's originally Korean. I'm originally Michigan. Okay. Well, that's a big difference. You could go to one. Thank you. Thank you so much.

There are many observation decks in New York City, but we chose Summit One because it's a little bit newer and one of the more popular ones on social media. Based on the photos I saw on Instagram, it looks like the views are unbeatable. But today we've got fog. Today it is very foggy, so we can't see anything. Actually, the New York skyline is behind me right now. I'm kind of bummed because normally when the weather is nice, you can see all of the famous landmarks like the Empire State Building, but today we don't see any of the famous landmarks. Wow. New York is beautiful. It is. Wow. Look at that skyline. Unbeatable views. Unbeatable. The best in the world. How much we pay? So, getting attacked by children. Get the hell out of here.

I worked up an appetite. So, we're heading to another famous restaurant, Cat's Delhi. We need to hop on the subway to get there. The subway is definitely the easiest and most convenient way to get around the city. New York subways aren't as clean or as organized as the subways in Solo. There's rats here, too. I've seen one before, so watch out. It's seting right now. So, it's like half rain and half snow.

Hi. Can I do half of the pastrami with moatza ball soup and then half of a ruben with chicken noodle soup, please? Uh, corn beef, please. Does that come with the pickles as well? Okay, perfect. Let me get a sample. M. This is the pastrami he just cut. Really good. Super juicy. Thank you. You, too. Have a good one. Let's see if I can carry. I use my muscles. He should be the one carrying this, huh? Tell him. Wow. This is a massive amount of food. We got moatza ball soup, chicken noodle soup, and look at these sandwiches. This is the most famous sandwich here. It's pastrami. But we also got a Reuben. These plates are so heavy. They really load up these sandwiches. I love pickles. So, weirdly enough, I was most excited for the pickles. It is a complete mad house in here. I'm not usually a huge meat eater, so this should be interesting. The sandwich is pretty simple with just bread, meat, and mustard on it. How do you bite this? M. Really nice. The meat is super tender, and with the spicy mustard, it's perfect. Reuben's are one of my favorite sandwiches. This one looks insane. The amount of cheese and meat on here should be criminal. All right. Delicious, but so hard to eat. Make sure you have lots of napkins with you when you eat this. I think it's definitely worth the wait when you're in New York City because it's such an iconic spot. You need to come here at least once in your life. Put it on the bucket list. Appreciate you. Thank you, ladies. Have a good day. All right. Enjoy your weekend. Appreciate you, my guy.

Welcome to Brooklyn. Brooklyn has a very industrial feel to it. It's a bit edgy and I feel like it's the most hipster burrow of all the burrows. I would compare it to Sunsu in Seoul because it looks a little rough on the outside, but it's got very trendy cafes and restaurants and lots of cool events going on. Now, we are in Dumbo, which is located in Brooklyn. Behind me is one of the most popular photo spots in the city. As you can see, you get a nice view of the Manhattan Bridge in between these buildings. So, it really makes for a nice photo. And the best part is it's free and there really aren't any lines. I'm going to take a quick photo and then walk over the Brooklyn Bridge to go back to Manhattan. I need a good walk because I still feel like I'm going to explode after that huge lunch.

Let's cross the bridge. If you want to walk across the Brooklyn Bridge, I really recommend starting in Brooklyn and walking towards Manhattan. That way, you get a view of the Manhattan skyline. Right now it's dusk, which I think is the perfect time to visit because you still get good quality photos, but you can also watch the city as it starts to light up at night. You can see the Statue of Liberty from here. I know you can book a tour and go to the actual Statue of Liberty, but I've never done that before. In the past, I took a ferry that goes close to the Statue of Liberty, and it's free, so I always enjoyed that. But I also think walking the Brooklyn Bridge and seeing it from the bridge is another great option. We missed out on the view of the Empire State Building at the summit, but I can see it from here. Finally, the fog has gone away. It's been a long day of walking out in the cold, so it's time for some sugar and coffee.

I am at Magnolia Bakery, which is well known for its banana pudding. Even though I lived in New York before, I've actually never tried this banana pudding, which is unbelievable. So, I'm very excited to try it tonight. This looks like it's going to be the shortest line that we've had to stand in for food so far, but looks can be deceiving. I'll just do a small almond milk latte, please. Hi. I got um almond milk latte and then can I do a small banana pudding as well? A small banana pudding? Yes, please. Thank you so much. Yeah, we got one. You too. The line got a lot longer. We got lucky. We beat the crowd. I've found since coming back to America that the coffee in the US and the coffee in Korea is very different. And I think Korean coffee has grown on me a lot. American coffee is weaker. It's like water. I guess Koreans must like very strong coffee. I can tell they drink it for survival in Korea. I went for the classic banana pudding, but they also had a limited edition red velvet banana pudding on the menu. That just seemed a little too over the top for me. Plus, I think when it's your first time trying something, you always should go for the classic. I see a lot of whipped cream and some vanilla wafers in there. Wow. The banana flavor is actually very strong. I love banana, but this is extremely rich and almost sickly sweet. I think it's delicious, but if I ate too much of it, I think I would definitely get a stomach ache. So, I'm glad I got the small size.

I'm on my way to Time Square, but I'm passing by a lot of the Broadway theaters. Going to a Broadway show is hands down my favorite thing to do in New York City. In my opinion, if you only have time to do one thing while you're here, you must go see a Broadway show. Tomorrow, I'm going to see Wicked. It's one of the most popular Broadway shows in the city, but we managed to score some tickets, so I feel very lucky and I can't wait.

Finally, I made it to Time Square. This is the heart of New York City. You can feel the energy when you come here. But I will say you need to be a little bit careful in Time Square. Always be aware of your surroundings because there are people who will try to rip you off here sometimes. Mr. Grinch, can I take a photo with you? Can we take it over here? Just the Grinch. Sorry. Just the Grinch. Okay. Oh, no. No. No. No. Sorry. Sorry. No, no, no, no. Just the Grinch. But it's lots of fun and a great place to come experience New York City. You can see all of the billboards here. Maybe one day you'll see Calli Sam's photo on one of these billboards. I'll manifest that. Callie Sam on a billboard in Time Square. Goals.

Hi. Good. How are you? One pepperoni, one Sicilian pepperoni, and one of the vodka pestos. Can I get two bottles of water? Do you have Coke? Zero. A diet Coke. Okay. One Diet Coke and one ginger ale, please. Everything in a box. Uh, yes, please. Thank you. Appreciate it. I picked up some pizza on our way back to the hotel because you always got to end your night with a New York slice. I originally wanted to go to Joe's Pizza because it is very popular, but I took one look at the line and dipped. So, we dropped by Scars, which is tried and true because we had it during our last trip to New York. Ta. It's bigger than my head. New York style pizza has a very thin crust and New Yorkers usually fold it in half when they eat it. M. This is a solid New York slice. I can tell it's very authentic. The pepperoni has a little kick to it. So, it's perfect. Perfect way to end the night. I'd say today was a big success. I ate the most delicious food and I walked almost 22,000 steps today and I also dodged getting scammed in Time Square. So, I'm proud of myself. What did you guys think of today? Let me know in the comments what you would like to do most in New York City. I'm going to eat the rest of this pizza now. So, good night everybody. See you next time.

Korean food is taking over America and this restaurant Kisa Shitang specifically has gone completely viral. Personally, I love Giza shitang and go often in Seoul because the meals are very affordable and delicious. I think here the food will be amazing but probably a bit more pricey than it is in Seoul. Let's go check it out. here.

Hi. You too? Yes. Um, I do have space for two. Just as a heads up, it's just by the door. Is that going to be okay? That's totally fine. Yep. Thank you. Bug and one, too. Okay. Do you have any allergies? No. Anything to drink? No, I think I think we're all set. Yes, please. Thank you. They've got bora barley tea. I love it. It's perfect cuz it's so cold outside and this is nice and warm. Even the cups are like in Korea. Wow. Thank you so much. We just got our food and they put it on this massive platter. We've got rice, soup, our main dish, and 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 seven different side dishes. And looking at the side dishes, they give you really good stuff. We've got fresh salmon. We've got some chun like they have at Solar or Chusok in Korea. It all looks really delicious. And actually, I really love the interior of the restaurant. It reminds me of retro soul. So, I feel like I'm in Chongo or right now.

All right, let's dig in. Got to start with the bonchan first, of course. M. I think it's peril seed radish. Tastes like something I've had in Seoul for sure. What is this? Squid, maybe? I'm not huge on squid. Not bad kimchi. I know I love always love kimchi. That's some good kimchi. Very tangy. Actually, I haven't had Korean food for quite some time. So, it's really nice getting to have Korean food again. I ordered chuk for my main. I heard it's a popular dish here. This is actually so good. Very authentic. Kangjang chicken. It's amazing that they give this as a side dish. This is like a so kangjang level. Soft, tender, warm marinade. Well, finally get to try the real Korean fried chicken again. The thing I like about the side dishes in Solo is that the refills are unlimited here. I don't think it's the same. This is my favorite kind of burger. It tastes really good. Smoky flavor. I think best option would be two people come and then one tail and one bugi but I think I would choose bugi over tail. It's a toss up. I like the bugi and the j. Got to get them both. Thank you so much. Mhm. Amazing. Very happy. Cleared it. It was so good. I noticed a lot of Koreans coming here actually. That's how you know it's a good spot. Also, I had to laugh. It was kind of funny seeing Americans eating Korean food and packing up the leftovers. I love it because I hate wasting food, but living in Seoul, I never see people packing up bonchan to take home. So, it kind of made me laugh.

Can we get the bill, please? Okay, thank you. Yeah. $2 to refill your side dishes. If you refill your side dishes, it's got to be the chicken or the salmon to be worth it. That's a tip. Tip. Okay. Thank you so much. Take care of the table. Yeah, no problem. You guys get busy. Hey. Yeah. Yeah. That's good though. That's cool. After tax, it's about $70, but we haven't paid the tip yet either. So, kind of hurts my heart a little bit knowing how much I'd pay for this in Soul. It's about three times more expensive at least. But for New York City standards, I think it's pretty fair. It hurts. But I do love this restaurant. If you're in New York, I think it's worth it. Plus, they give you free coffee. Coffee is included, so that's also a plus. Even better, mixed coffee. There we go. Wow. So sweet. I love it. Perfect way to end the meal.

We came to Marin for lunch, which is a Korean fusion restaurant that specializes in hand rolls. It's a more casual sister restaurant to Mari, which is a Michelin star restaurant here in New York City. Let's check it out. You said it was for Yes. I'll just Is the rice beer mockoli? Okay, we'll get one of those, please. Thank you. We're starting the afternoon off with some mockoli. I'm really surprised to see this in New York. When I lived here before, I saw soju a lot on different menus, but not mockoli. So, maybe it's getting more popular these days in the US. Cheers. I've missed this. Moccoli is my favorite Korean alcohol.

Our first dish is shrimp tempura and it's served with wasabi aoli. I think this is going to pair perfectly with our mockoli. Wow, the shrimp is so juicy inside and I love the sauce. I thought fried shrimp was a simple dish, but the flavors are quite complex. Very good. I'll take a hundred of these. It's a little like chicken. Oh, it's very similar. You're saying it tastes like Joon chicken but in shrimp form. Yes, I can see it. That's fair. Can't go wrong with this combo. Can't go wrong. We demolished this in 2 seconds. It's so good. Maybe we're getting warm from the mockoli. I just had to take my jacket off.

I'm rolling up my sleeves for this. So, the waiter recommended just eating the fatty tuna roll as is because he said it has a very clean taste. So, I'm just going to take a bite without any soy sauce. Wow. I can see what he means. The texture is good. But it's not like super fishy or overpowering. Really nice. And I like that the seaweed is still very crispy and crunchy since it's fresh. I'm going to try it with some sauce cuz he said all the sauces are housemade. I love that they put it in squeeze bottles. It makes it much easier. M. I like it with the sauce. Very nice. Try the vegan one. Wo. Surprisingly, I like this one more than Really? You like the vegan one more than the tuna? This one. I like the tuna one more than the vegan. Who are we? Salmon. Not salmon. Salmon. Salmon. I love that they give you ginger as the palette cleanser, too. Actually, a lot better than I expected. Is this going to bother you here? It's on us. Okay. I just don't want to be in your way. You guys have a favorite? I like the last one. The spicy tuna. Oh my gosh. Yes. The I was like potato in a roll like that. I've never heard of that. But I I really thought I was super picky with fish. But I loved all of the fish ones. Yeah, they were great. So I think maybe I wasn't eating like good quality fish or something, but this was amazing. Enjoyed all of it. But the will be in just like a few minutes. Hopefully that'll be good. Okay, sounds good. Thank you very much.

We also got janchi su. Wow, I'm back in Korea now. It's transported me back to soul. Quite similar. M. It's pretty good. M in one bite. No, this is why I can't share with you. This thing can be done in one bite. Just because you can doesn't mean you should. Not you slurping the noodles. just watching.

Now we're at Dandon K Barbecue. If you ask any American about Korean food, barbecue is probably the first thing that comes to their mind. It has become so popular in the US. I'm ready to eat some sit style. Let's go. Um, I have a reservation. What's your name on it? Callie Anderson. People. Yeah. Nice place for you guys. Thank you. You're welcome. I'll give you a mirror. Right. Okay. Thank you so much. Do you have any food allergies? Nope. You guys want to start off with beer? We have gondam beer. Sure. Maybe a bottle of soju. We also have our in-house gondam beer. Oh, okay. Awesome. Thank you. Yeah. Do you have a pork on the soju? We have troll general chiser and cho. What do you like? I would say general sounds good. And for the choice of stews, we have kimchi, tenjang, and sundu. Kimchi sounds good. Yep. This is going to be our condiments. This is going to be our wasabi or sang and Thank you. Wow. I feel like I'm back in soul. Thank you. Thank you.

All right. He said this is the jowlel. I'll dip it in the salt. I like this one cuz it's not a super fatty part of meat. I like it a little bit chewier. Moa is my favorite. So, that will be the true test. So, nice. Try it with a little bit of a hint of wasabi. I can tell you're a professional at this. You're a good griller. I'm taking his recommendation and eating with the wasabi. When I'm in the US, I really miss Korean food and this is legit. Here it goes. My favorite. He knows what he's doing on the grill. I'll tell you that much. Wow. It's perfect with a little bit of wasabi, a little bit of salt. I can't tell the difference from when I was in Ju trying barbecue for the first time. This is awesome. Cheers. Let's learn some English at Korean barbecue. Ganjim is egg sule. Kum is lettuce wrap. Kimchi is kimchi. I love eating with my hand. Roll it up and stuff it in your face.

Time for a Korean drinking game. I suck at this game, though. I'm so bad at flicking my fingers. That was a good one. I'm going to use all my power here. I think my husband took it easy on me this time. I think he wanted an excuse to drink. Strawberry ice cream with strawberry pie. Awesome. Thank you so much. I don't think I've ever had ice cream at Korean barbecue in Soul. Koreans, I love your barbecue, but you you got to get on that. This is a good touch.

Good morning everybody. It is so hard to get out of bed in winter, but I have to stick to some kind of a routine. So today I'm going to show you my winter routine. The very first thing I do every single morning in winter is put on my slippers because my feet are always freezing cold in winter. First things first, I need a cup of hot coffee. We have a cure egg at my mom's house. So, I just take one pod of coffee, put it in the machine. Oh my gosh. Are you seeing this? That's crazy. We've accumulated a lot of snow overnight. Let's go take a closer look. I feel like a kid again. I'm very excited to see the snow. Wow, it's gorgeous. Usually when we get snow like this, I check the news right away to see how the road conditions are. And when I was younger, I would always check to see if there were any school closings. Come and join the fun. Hide back in bed under the covers. I guess my mom is telling me to get my butt out there in shovel.

Before I go outside, I have to bundle up. In winter, I usually dress in layers. So, I'll have two pairs of pants on, three shirts. I put on my hat. I feel like a marshmallow. I haven't seen snow like this since I was a really little kid. When you're a kid, snow is a lot of fun. When you're an adult, it's a lot of work. You're doing great. Wow, look at those muscles. Wait a second. I just realized what that sound is. I think we've got a snowblower in front. Why am I shoveling? I'm going to get the snowblower. Get some ammunition. Snowball. No, you're not. No, you're not. Are you trying to kill me? Get them off. I got a white wash. That's what we call that, a white wash. What's so funny? Huh? I'm soaking wet now. I think I have to throw my clothes in the dryer. It's so cold even Willie had to put his sweater on. You warm little guy.

Soups in the crock pot are the perfect winter meal. If you don't know what a crock pot is, it's a kitchen appliance that cooks soups and stews very slowly. So, you can make it in the morning, let it cook all day, and at night you'll have a meal ready to eat. Today, my mom and I are making white chicken chili. I haven't eaten this for a very long time. Chili is a very common winter food in Michigan, but this is kind of a different version of it. We have all of the ingredients here, and we will just throw it in the crock pot and let it cook all day. Raw meat gives me the egg. We're sprinkling spices on top of the chicken. 1 teaspoon of cumin. 34 teaspoon of oregano. Half a teaspoon of chili powder. Don't cry, Mom. Why are you crying? You just love me so much. You're overwhelmed with emotion. You can tell me. It's okay. I'm crying now, too. I just put in one teaspoon of minced garlic. Next, we're adding in green chilies, a can of corn. My mom chopped up some fresh cilantro, which is the best. I know some people hate cilantro, but I'm a big fan of it. I'm going to use a measuring cup to measure out 24 oz of chicken broth. Mom measures with her heart. I measure according to the recipe. All righty. And then I think that's it. And now I am covering it. And we will cook it on high for 3 to 4 hours. That will be perfect because when we come back in after sledding, it'll be all ready to eat. It already smells good.

I am heading back outside because there is still a little bit of work to be done. Oh my gosh, I cannot believe it's still snowing. Earlier it was a white out, but now we're just getting some light flurries, but it has been snowing nonstop since I woke up. It doesn't even look like we shoveled this morning. Usually after we shovel, we salt our driveway to make it less slippery. But I think we need to shovel again before we salt it. Look at that icicle. Come on. Come on, cameraman. Look at these icicles. These things are dangerous. Actually, when I was young, I used to suck on them like a popsicle. Now I know that it's very dirty and that's disgusting. Ward Leviosa. Have mercy. Have mercy.

We're about to go on a little adventure, but first I need to start the car. When I was young, I remember having to use an ice scraper to get all the ice off the car. But now they make remote starters. It's the best technology in the world. Luckily, the car is all nice and warm, but we still keep an ice scraper in the back just in case of an emergency. This is how you know you're from Michigan. On a day like today, most people would not leave the house because the road conditions are not the greatest. But we're going on a little bit of an adventure. Luckily, my mom is very experienced when it comes to winter driving because she was born and raised in Michigan. So, it's not her first time driving in bad weather like this. But still, you have to be very careful. Drive slow and look out for black ice. I don't know if you can see what's behind me here, but we're actually going sledding. This is definitely not part of my normal winter routine, but I do try to stay active in the winter and get some fresh air.

Wow. Well, we just arrived to the middle of nowhere. Actually, none of us know where to go. This is a real true adventure. We're just going to walk around and hopefully find this hill. Hi. Sorry. Um, is there a snow hill nearby here? Back here. So, just walk in front here. Okay. Thank you so much. I just asked inside a school, but we're in the right place. What the It's getting deeper. That looks very steep. This is a little little sketchy. I'm not going down. What? I'm not going down. You've got to go once. We've got a classic sled here, which is similar to a tobogen. And my favorite, a saucer. I like these ones because they go really fast and they spin a lot as you go down the hill. Wow, that was a good sized hill. We had to walk through some huge snow drifts to get there, though. I'm shivering and I feel like my fingers and my toes are numb. So, we're going to head home and get nice and warm so we don't catch a cold. I look like Jack Frost and I've got snow everywhere.

We made it home from sledding, but we have a few more winter activities to do. I'm going to make a snow angel and build a snowman. Do you want to build a snowman? Ooh, the snow is not great packing snow, so this might be a little bit of a struggle. This is the technique. You make a small snowball and then just roll it to make it bigger and bigger. It's kind of nice when you build a snowman with someone, not alone. I even got a real carrot for the nose. I should be wearing snow pants for this, but I'm going to make a snow angel. Whoa, the snow's heavy. I got to do more leg day. Whoa. is actually a beautiful snow angel. You can see the wings. Now I'm freezing cold and I feel like I might have frostbite. Let's go in. Hey, Mom. Look at my snowman. Where? Wow. Oh, I see it. Oh, it's cute. It's really little, but it's cute. The soup's ready inside. Just a minute. I got to stomp the snow off my feet. I don't want to track in snow. I'm checking the thermostat and cranking up the heat. When the temperatures are extremely cold, like far below zero, sometimes we have to drip our taps, which means we leave a small stream of water running so that the pipes don't freeze.

Soup looks to die for. It's been cooking for about 5 hours and I think it's finally done. I love eating warm, hearty food in the winter. This was a new recipe that my mom and I tried. Mom gets the first taste. Do you think you like white chicken chili more or traditional chili? I wouldn't say I like one better than the other cuz they are so different. It's really good though. Turned out great. You did a good job. You helped me. I helped. Success. and crush a few tortilla chips on top. This is really good. I like that it's a little bit creamy. It's not as spicy as I thought it would be, but it's got some good flavor to it. I usually end cold winter days the same way that I start them with a nice warm and cozy beverage. Normally, I make herbal tea at night, but after dinner, I was craving something a little bit sweet, so I'm making my mom and I some gourmet hot chocolate. We've got a raspberry flavored one and a salted caramel flavored one. I'm pouring the hot cocoa mix into the mugs. I need a little taste test to see if I need to add more water or not. M I like the raspberry. That's pretty good. Let's try this. I like the salted caramel more. I'm going to spike our hot chocolate tonight with some white chocolate Irish cream lour. So, we're making adult hot cocoa tonight. You can't have hot chocolate without some marshmallows. Usually I like to use mini marshmallows, but we only have big marshmallows on hand. Cheers. Cheers to a good winter routine. Mom loved sledding today. You can tell. Yours is good. Mine's better. It's better. That's how much I love you. I made the best one in the house for you. That's how much I love you. I participated in winter routine all day long today. We can do it tomorrow if you want. I can't believe it's only 700 p.m. It feels like midnight. It gets dark so early in the winter time. I'm all snuggled up with my cocoa and a new book. I just recently started this. It's called The Great Believers and it had a great rating on the Goodreads app.

Hello everybody. If you visit the US during the winter months, chances are you're going to encounter some cold weather. This year, even warm weather states like Texas, in Florida, in Georgia got some snow. So, today I am going to teach you some cold weather English. Today I am at a big festival in Northern Michigan called Tipup Town. I'm all bundled up because the weather is freezing cold, but there are a ton of people here ready to enjoy the festival. It's my first time attending. I have no idea what to expect, but I'm very excited because today is actually the 75th anniversary of this winter festival. I have my button, which grants me entry to the festival. So, let's go see what they have in store for us today.

The first event we came to see is called the Polar Plunge. Every winter, the lake freezes over and they cut a hole in the ice and people who are crazy enough to sign up for this jump in the freezing cold water. Actually, I did this years ago when I was in high school. One time is enough, though. I will never register to participate in this event again. The craziest part is that people pay to do this. I know cold plunges are a thing in the health and wellness world now, but I'm shivering just watching them. I'd have to have a lot of drinks before jumping in that water.

We're already making a pit stop back at the car because someone I don't want to mention any names. Cameraman did not dress warm enough. I can tell he's not used to Michigan winters like my mother and I. I'm from Busousan. My mom and I are dressed in layers. But

The cameraman isn't even wearing boots. I came prepared with mittens, a hat, heat tech, thick warm socks, boots, scarf. Good thing we packed some backup boots in the car. We'll take care of you, cameraman. Boots. Warm gloves. So cold. Now you look like a northern Michigan boy. We're taking a break in warming up in the car. All right, you babies. At Tip Uptown last weekend, it was -8. So today being um what? 28, it's a heat wave. Wow. Mom is throwing some shade. Mom is shaming us. Oh, Hong, how you going to ice fish and go on a snowmobile? Pitiful. Pitiful. You wore swim trunks under your heat? Yeah. I thought I was going to jump. That's not gonna happen. You had some high aspirations for today, huh? Are you warm yet? Let's hit it. Got mom's off-roading it. She's fearless. Oh, it's actually not too bad out. It's just when you get some of that wind, then it gets bitter cold. Cover your face. You look like the abominable snowman. Excuse me. Do you take card? We don't take card, but we do take Cash App, PayPal, Venmo. Okay. Okay. Thank you. I want the mushroom. Yeah. I'll just take the price tags off them and then whenever you're ready to come back, just get my attention. And if you do want to hand carry an amount, I can help you guys pay them.

[Music] We scoped out all of the food trucks here and we decided to go for a classic food option at any festival, a corn dog and an elephant ear. An elephant ear is basically a large piece of fried dough with sugar. So, it's a very sweet, fatty dessert, but they're very popular at fairs here. Callie, I'm Adrian. Oh. Oh my god. Yeah, you could. They recognize you. That's so funny. I just ran into a girl that I attended college with. That was cool. Would not expect to run into someone I know up here since this is not my hometown. Small world. Hi there. Hi. Do you take card if I do? Three corn dogs, one elephant ear, and I'll take a Pepsi. Can I have a lemonade, too? 43 in total. Okay. And there's a dollar fee on the card, so it'll be 44. Okay, no problem. Thank you so much.

[Music] I'll go for the mustard. They're so good. They're really good. We came in the warming tent and it actually feels really nice in here. Tastes very similar to hot dog. I like the lemonade, too. Perfect thing to wash it down. Wow. A cute. It's so cute. [Laughter] We went in slow motion. Oh my gosh. I can't get up though. I can't get off. As you can see, there are some fish hanging on this board behind me. And that's because they do an ice fishing contest. Actually, that's why this festival is called Tip Up Town because tip up is the name of the device that they use while ice fishing. If you hook a fish, a flag goes up. That way, you know you've caught one. This looks like the biggest one so far, but there's a few more coming to the board now. And I think they took first place.

[Music] We just came to watch the snowmobile races. I could hear them revving their engines as soon as I got out of the car. We're actually walking on the big lake right now. So, there's water underneath of us. I think the ice is pretty thick, but there are a few areas that are a bit slushy. So, it kind of scares me even though I know it's very safe. There's even cars in big trailers parked out on the ice. But if I see anywhere with some slush, I'm staying far away. I don't want to do an unintentional polar plunge today. Snowmobiling is a very popular winter sport here, and they're doing drag races on the ice. It's crazy how fast these things go. They're also a lot louder than I expected. It's really fun to watch. We had a lot of fun at Tip Uptown, but my nose started running, my hands were numb, and I feel like I got frostbite on my toes. So, we came home, I made a hot chocolate, and I'm snuggling up under a blanket. Maybe I'm not cut out for Michigan winters anymore. Can you tell me what this is trying to say? That's a take it. Kale, you can't do that. No way. I don't know how to feel right now. Merry Christmas. Whoa. Thank you, Hong. I'm spoiled rotten. I don't even know what to say. That's a strain. I'm in shock. Drinks on you guys. Thank you. Deal. Deal. Deal. Can I get you a donut or a coffee? Let's do a drink. I make a good oldfashioned cheers. Huh? Me for a m with this.

Hello everybody. It's freezing cold, but I'm at Ford Field right now to watch the Detroit Lions play a football game. It's my first ever professional football game, and we're very excited. We pregamed at a bar nearby. I wanted to tailgate, but it's a little too cold. We had some beers and we're about to get inside. Go Lions.

[Music] Wow. Usually I'm stuck up in the nose bleeds, but this time we've got perfect feet. We're right by the end zone, so I hope we see some good touchdowns. They gave us a light up bracelet that's synchronized to the music. It's happy hour. Let's go get some drinks. Hello. Do you guys do the power hour here? The drink specials and stuff. I believe power hour just ended, right? Oh my gosh. Okay. No, it's all right. What beers do you have? We just have the Bud Light Miller Light Ultra at this. You will find other things throughout the venue. Like you would find other specialty beers. Like everybody kind of has different Okay, let's do a Bud Light and I'll get a pretzel as well. Yes. Awesome. Thank you so much. Thank you. Have a great night. Can we do one big papa and one blue moon? Did you want the spicy cherry pepper relish on the big papa? No, that's all right. For the blue moon. Yep. 3263. Okay. First name, last initial for the order. Uh, Callie A. Callie. They'll call your name by the TV when your phone's ready. Okay. Thank you. We should just wait over here. Yeah, I got it. Okay, thank you. $32. Wow, I just spent like $60 on two beers, a pretzel, and a sandwich. What a ripoff. Stadium food sucks. Everything you ever wanted.

[Music] [Applause] [Music] Ah, here we go. Let's go. [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] That's [Applause] [Music] completely Let's go. What are your thoughts on tonight's game? Well, number one, we were so happy, so fortunate that you and Hong got us tickets to this game and it was exciting to watch them win this game because they clinched the playoff first time in a long time for Detroit. So, it's a huge win for the city of Detroit. Something our fans been waiting for for a long, long time. What does clenched mean? That means they are in. Yeah, we made it. Made it to the playoffs. We made it. We're going all the way. That's right. Super Bowl, here we come. What about the crowd? What' you think of the Detroit fans at this game? They were into it. 65,000 screaming maniacs. It was loud. It was a full house. And it was tied with seconds left in the game. And they kicked the field goal to win the game. We couldn't leave early on that. Something I thought was cool was seeing how many fans were interacting with each other. You'd walk down the aisle and everyone would be giving you high fives. Anytime we got a touchdown, the people in front of you, behind you, turning around and giving high fives. That was pretty cool. Everybody was happy. It's like we're all in it together. Yeah. All grit. All grit. That's what you got to have to do anything in life. Just the ability to hang in there, grind it out until you reach your goal, right? is like determination. Absolutely. Detroit's got grit. I had so much fun at the game and it was my first ever NFL game and I'm so happy we got to enjoy it together. Me, too. You You couldn't have picked a better game to go see. You guys hit it out of the ballpark. I'm glad you enjoyed it. It was so enjoyable. I thank you much. Happy parents day.

I am in Busousan to meet up with my in-laws for parents day. It's kind of a miracle that I made it here in one piece. The taxi ride from the KTX station was a bit wild. I wanted to kiss the ground when I got here. Everyone says that Busousan is so chill and laidback, but have those people ever ridden in a taxi? It felt like the Fast and the Furious. Anyways, I know that carnations are usually the traditional flower for parents day, but my mom likes the color pink. So, I got her this pink bouquet and we booked them a five-star hotel and they have no clue. So, we're going to surprise them and meet them in the lobby there. Let's go. They look so cute. You're welcome. Good to see you.

[Music] We got lucky today. Ah, wrinkle. Oh, thank you so much. Recently, I bought the car's lecturing books. I speak now one chapter daily routine. I feel uh a little bit uh dehydrated. Okay. And then uh I open the butter and take a sip. Oh, refreshing. improving. Vacation starts. 4 minutes. 1 2 3 4. The air is so fresh. The weather is very good. It's so sunny. Oh, it's so sunny. Yeah. Wow, that's so cool. I've never seen anything like that before in my life. He literally was a pigeon whisperer. He called them from the sky and they landed right on his head. It reminded me of the pigeon lady in Home Alone. If you know, you know. Wow. Monster Americano. Espresso mixed with an energy drink sounds like a heart attack waiting to happen. This is dangerous. Only in Korea. This is why Hung is invited. So cool. [Laughter] Beautiful. Oh, what happened to like father like son, you know, you can learn from your dad. Hi, where's the complimentary champagne on the eighth floor? Okay, thank you. Please enter your operator code. Hi. Is it possible to get two champagne glasses up to our room? In your room? There are cups in your mini bar, but you need more. Oh, there's some in the mini bar already. Yeah. Oh, okay. I didn't realize it. Is it like in the pull out drawer? Yeah. If you need more cup, please call back. Okay. Okay. Thank you so much. I didn't see any in here. Can you tell I'm not used to luxury? Okay. It's champagne time. Can you help me open it? I 10. I'm too scared. I can't breathe. Careful, mom. Don't get hit by the cork. Let's pop some butter. [Applause] Okay, you're a pro. Oh, I should pour for you. Congratulations, parent today. Thank you so much, Carrie. I love you. Cheers. I love you. Cheers. Love shot. I got the bottle. Happy day. Me, too. A very happy day for me, too. With my son, with my daughter-in-law, let's drink to that. Don't judge us. I know we just had a bottle of champagne in our room, but we had to take advantage of the complimentary champagne that they have here, and I'm so happy we did because they have many bottles and lots of snacks to enjoy as well. So, I'm impressed. This is a good perk. I can never go back to anything below five star.

[Music] now. We're living the good life. They serve free champagne here for 3 hours. You can definitely get lit here. We were hoping to go grab some seafood at the fish market and have a picnic in front of this beautiful view of the bridge, but unfortunately it's empty. And we saw a sign that drinking is prohibited. So, we are going somewhere else. What a shame, though. I was really excited to eat here. Look at that view. That's amazing. Kind of want a shik. I don't know why I'm in the mood for shik. Kelly beer, of course. I love the ramen machines they have. I'm pouring in the seasoning. And now I'll add the hot water. Normal ramen in Shijak. I'm cracking the egg. It's like going to the Han River, but you're in Busousan and get the view of the bridge instead. I like it. Very cool. Did the cab driver recommend this to us or you found it? Oo, good tour guide. This makes up for the other park being closed. I'll forgive you this time. The party is already started. Come on, join the party. He's going to open the bottle with the chopstick. Oh, okay. Let's see it. Impressive. Impressive. That's a good party trick. Welcome to Happy to be here with you. Cheers. So, everyone cheers. We rent this this place. Yes. Private. Oh, private. Very nice. Our unboxing experience. Unforgettable. Empty. Empty. Empty. He ate and left. No crumbs. We found the perfect spot to enjoy the view of the bridge. It's called Pyong Kong. And I highly recommend it if you come to Vusan. It was so nice because nobody was here. I couldn't believe it. We had the place all to ourselves. We ate some ramen, drank some beer, and just enjoyed the atmosphere here. A night out in Korea is not complete without taking some photos in the photo booth, so let's go take some pictures. They've already got their props picked out. Cowboy cowgirl. Oh, me too. We've got our cowboy hats and our sunglasses on. We're ready. We're choosing the color of the border now. Okay, I think it looks good. No filters needed because we're all gorge already. Just kidding. There is a filter print. This is so cute. I'm so happy we did this all together. I'll never forget tonight. We have to put it in this little envelope to protect it. This is precious. Mom hooked us up like always. Okay, thank you so much. Happy parents day. See you in the morning.

In the US, there's no such thing as parents day. Instead, we have Mother's Day in Father's Day. So, each parent gets their own special day. But since I'm in Korea and it's parents day, I still feel like I should call my parents back home and wish them a happy parents day. Unfortunately, because of the time difference, my dad is already at work, but I'm going to try calling my mom. Let's see if she picks up the phone. Hi, honey. Hi. Happy parents day. Oh, thanks. I didn't know it was parents day. It sure is. Oh, well, thank you. You're welcome. I wish you were here in Busousan. I've been thinking about you a lot. That was very sweet of you, honey. I appreciate you calling. I was shocked when I saw what time it was and you were calling. Well, tell Hong's mom and dad I said happy parents day to them. I will. Okay. And that I love and miss them, too. I will. Okay, sweetie. Love you guys. Love you. All right. Bye, Mom. It was so nice getting to spend Parents Day with my in-laws in Busousan. We had so much fun together and made a ton of memories. I know a lot of our subscribers are also parents. So, if you're a mom or a dad, I hope you have an amazing parents day because you deserve it. I know that being a parent is the hardest job in the world. So, I hope today is a great one for you and you fully enjoy it.

I am in the upper peninsula of Michigan at my family's cabin. My grandpa built this in the early 90s and they come up here to deer hunt and I've been coming here since I was a very little girl before I could even walk. We call our cabin double sea camp and it's a very special place for my family. So today I'm going to give you a tour of our cabin. As you can see, this cabin is very remote. It's literally in the middle of nowhere. We only have dirt, roads, and trails leading to this cabin. So, when the weather is not good, it's very hard getting back here. It's very peaceful because it's so quiet out here. But sometimes it can be a little bit scary because if there's ever an emergency, there's no hospital nearby. You're out of luck. This is our shed where we store our ATVs. So, my grandparents use ATVs to go to their blinds to deer hunt, and they're very fun to ride. I've ridden ATVs since I was a little girl. We also have a bonfire pit where my family and our friends all like to gather around the fire, have some drinks, and roast some marshmallows. We have trails in the front of our cabin and in the back of our cabin, so we like to take walks out in nature, but you have to be careful sometimes because there is a lot of wildlife in the area. There are deer, bears, and they've even spotted a wolf out here before. So, you just have to stay alert if you go for a walk. We love to spend time outside here because the air is very fresh and at night you get a beautiful view of the stars. They look unreal up here. But right now, it's a bit chilly. So, let's head inside.

This is the entryway of the cabin. So, we have a mudroom here where it's just a lot of storage and we keep tools in here, extra snacks, jackets, shoes, lots of storage here. Then it opens up to the living room and the kitchen. We spend a lot of time in here. My grandma cooks very delicious food, so we eat really well up here. I love it because I have a lot of memories having big meals with all of my family here. Even though we're far out in the woods, we still have all the comforts of home here. We have electricity, running water, and these days we can even watch TV here and make phone calls. When I was younger, we weren't able to do that. But now, everything is running on solar panels, propane, a generator. So, we've got all of our bases covered here. The cabin is always so cozy. The whole thing is heated by this wood stove here. We use real logs to put in the fire and it keeps the cabin so warm even in the dead of winter. You can stay very warm in this cabin.

Now I'm in the living room, which is also where we spend a lot of time while visiting the cabin. We've got um somebody sleeping here. Our cutest cabin resident. Actually, I take that back. Our cutest cabin resident is right here. the queen of the cabin, my grandma Shirley. And then this is the man, the legend who built the cabin, my grandpa. Everyone, this is my granddaughter. Woohoo. And I love her. We love spending time together up here. It's really nice unplugging for a little while and spending good quality time together. My iPad. I mentioned before that my grandma and grandpa love to hunt up here during hunting season. And you can see some of their trophy deer hanging on the wall. We've got my grandma's deer here. We've got my grandpa's deer here. If you take a look around the cabin, you'll see all kinds of deer heads and antlers. They shoot the deer and then they eat the deer meat which is called venison. That's quite a popular thing to do here in Michigan.

Off of the living room, there's a door to go outside to the deck. This is where we stack wood for the wood stove to heat the cabin. And we also have a grill here when the weather is a bit better. We have a barbecue. So, we'll grill hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken, steaks, all kinds of delicious food on the grill here. There's a clearing in the woods, and when I was growing up, my grandparents would put a salt lick out there for the deer to come eat. So sometimes standing right on the deck or looking out the cabin window, you could see deer come out into the clearing. We'd always use binoculars and get a good view of the deer here. And over here we have a small hill. When we would come in the wintertime, it would be so snowy and we would sled down this little hill. We'd ride the sled down and run back up and go again. It was a lot of fun.

We have two bedrooms downstairs. So, this is the first one. All of my luggage is in it right now, so don't judge. So, guests can sleep in this bedroom. Next to it is the bathroom. When I was very young here, we had an outhouse because they didn't have a working toilet. So, we had to go to the bathroom outside, which was not an ideal situation. So, now it's nice there's a working toilet and a working shower with hot water. We don't have to rough it as much up here anymore. Look at this. 1996. We used to measure ourselves every time we came up to the cabin. my cousins, my sister, and I would all mark our heights on this wooden post. So, here it says Cali. I was this tall in 1996. So, my last measurement was here in 2004. Have I grown? That looks taller than you. You got shorter? No, I got a little taller. Maybe one inch. They made their own pulley system to dry their clothes. They use this rope to lift their clothes up and hang them close to the ceiling because heat rises. The last room downstairs is the master bedroom. This is where my grandma and grandpa sleep. This is their hot water heater, so we can take hot showers if we want to. This is a lifesaver.

Now, I'm upstairs. The stairs are quite steep, so you have to be careful coming up. When I was a kid, upstairs was my favorite part of the cabin. My cousins and my sister and I thought of upstairs like our own fort. So you can see we even have signs here that we made when we were young. It says caution hyper children and knock hand here. Ta. Welcome to the upstairs. When I was a kid, we would have five families come up here together. So all the kids would be playing up here and would sleep up here. This one used to be my favorite because it's tucked away like a special little hiding spot. The cabin is a very special place for our family. So, I hope you enjoyed the tour of our log cabin in the woods. I will be interviewing my grandpa who built this cabin with his bare hands. So, make sure to stay tuned. I will see you next time. Goodbye. We didn't have to do that. I appreciate it so much. Don't cry. Let's go win that money back. There you go.

I am in Las Vegas to celebrate my mom's retirement. I will show you all of Vegas's most popular attractions. Let's go explore Vegas together. We are at Fremont Street, which is basically Old Vegas. It's a huge pedestrian zone, so it's walking only. No cars allowed here already. It is so lit up and there is so much to see. They have free concerts, of course, lots of bars and tons of different kinds of entertainment. So, let's walk around and see what Fremont Street has to offer.

[Music] I was ready to go to a bar, but our first stop is a gift shop. My mom is a bargain queen. She saw a sign. Three t-shirts for $10 and she bolted. How many you got? Three for 10. Good.

[Music] You got the abs. The important part.

[Music] They have some really interesting exotic street performances here. Very fun for adults, but maybe not so kid-friendly. Hi. Can I get one strawberry pineapple margarita? This is a $46 cocktail. Dang. At least it's big. And she asked me how many shots I want in it. I said three. So, I don't know if that's a lot or a little, but I hope it tastes okay.

[Music] Tastes good. That's good. Woo. Strong. She said it's strong. I guess my tolerance is higher. That's wrong.

[Music] They have a restaurant here called the Heart Attack Grill. If you weigh over 350 lbs, you can eat for free. They even have a scale outside so you can weigh yourself and see if you can eat there for free. I actually saw a video of Chuang the mukbanger um eating here at this restaurant and she killed it as always. I'm a big fan because I watch her and wonder where does she put all that food? She ate a burger here that had probably 10 to 12 patties on it. Crazy. Mom's going to win us some money back after buying that $47 cocktail. Hi. Good. How are you? You have any kind of like wheat beer? Yeah, we'll take a shock tab. Modello. I'll take Modello. Yep. That sounds good. Oh, mom said she'll get this one. Thank you, Mom. Cheers. Cheers. Winner winner chicken dinner. Winner winner chicken dinner. Woohoo. That was as American as it got. I'm picking the lucky machine. I'm on the hunt for a good one. I got to get my senses working. All right. One, right? This is it. Going to win the super grand jackpot. Dollars, $4, $5, $6, 11. Woohoo. She won $123. You picked it. Cash out. Let's go home. Yep. That was teamwork. Makes the dream work. Yeah.

Omega Mart is a very immersive art experience. I've seen videos of it on social media and it looks very interesting. So, we're going to explore Omega Mart today and see what the hype is all about.

[Music] Oh, it lit up the floor. This is a small little tunnel. If you're claustrophobic, don't come here. We're rock climbing. Just some casual rock climbing today. Yay. Cameras. CCTV. They've got their eyes on us. kind of creeped out. All my privacy rights are gone. They just scanned my face. Can I do a Monty cold snack beer? And then the source is the one with the bobble, right? I'll do one of those, too, please. You want a glass of it? Um, sure. Everybody loves bubbles. Oh my gosh. Would you like to close it out? I can close it out now. I think we all needed a drink after that experience. Very good. It's very sweet.

Eating at a buffet is a really popular thing to do while you're in Vegas. All the hotels on the strip offer a buffet, but we came to the Wind Buffet because I heard it is the best one in Las Vegas. And you can secure a spot in line because I heard the wait time can get pretty long, but we did not do that this time, unfortunately. So, we're getting in line now for a walk-in. Hopefully, it doesn't take too long. You want to have a seat? Are you okay standing? I'm okay for now. Hey, if you needed to have a seat, we'll give you a chair. Okay. Thank you very much. They brought me here for my retire. You're so lucky. I know. Having a good time so far. Oh, would you like to drink, please? I would like a Coke. I'll do an arnum. Any allergy, diet restrictions? Are you sure? Thank you. Please enjoy. Okay. On the credit card. I'm eating very strategically today. I'm not getting distracted by food I can eat on a daily basis. I'm going straight for the fancy food. The lobster and caviar bar. Look at the strategy. I know I'm not following my own rules, but fiber is going to help me out here. Just a little bit. I don't know how to pick a good crab leg. I'm just going to try.

[Music] one. I went for mostly seafood on my first round. I got some caviar, lobster. It all looks amazing. You're a pro. She's the master. How do I do this? Right in the middle here. Is this a bad crab leg? You can tell I don't eat fancy foods a lot. This is a lot of work for a very little reward. Nice crab leg. Go for it. Butter down the neck. Mom's doing pretty good. She's got the right strategy. Eating all the crab legs. That's what people come here for. The crab, the lobster, the caviar. And here I am eating a lot of potatoes and pasta. Hi. What kind of tacos do you have? Beef, chicken, pork, and birya. Um, I'll do the birya. Um, just one, please.

[Music] Yep. It's a two-handed job.

[Music] Can I have the samores with a peanut butter cup? I'm sorry. Can you say that one more time? I'm going to have milk, almond, and peanut butter. I'll do peanut butter, please. All right. Caramel on top. Maybe some caramel. It's going to be hot from this side, so grab it from here or here. Okay. Thank you. Maybe I should have started with dessert. I should have saved all the room in my stomach for dessert. Can I do a small scoop of the cookie dough and a small scoop of the coffee gelato? Yes, that's fine. I think we all ate our money's worth. I am stuffed to the max. Vegas buffets are definitely extravagant. The selection was incredible. The food was topnotch. We all were very satisfied with our meals. Now it's nap time. I guess we're walking off all of our food from the buffet because we just checked Uber and it's $40 for a 10minute drive. That's crazy. We're walking 40 minutes.

[Music] home. I'm not a big gambler, but it's not a trip to Vegas without coming to a casino. We already visited the Golden Nugget, which is probably Vegas's most iconic and historic casino, but now we are at Caesar's Palace. I'm a little bit intimidated to try playing cards at the tables, but maybe I'll try my hand at some of the slot machines. Let's win big, everybody. Hit the jackpot. $16. Nice. Well, I didn't win big, but I'm up $10, so I'm going to cash out. One bottle of bottle of water. Water's on me tonight. Not the ones. It's missing some zeros. One cool thing about the casinos here is that you can drink for free. So, you should take advantage of that. Hi. Are you guys taking walk-ins tonight? Right now, I'm on a 15 to 20 minute wait or I have bar available. Do you want to wait 15 minutes or go right to the bar? Yeah. Okay, sure. We can do the bar. We'll be able to order from the full menu. Okay. And I have another question. We've got this gift card. I just want to make sure that you guys accept it. This lettuce entertainment. Perfect. Thank you.

[Music] How are you doing? Great. Thank you for asking. We're going to be dining here at the bar. We're waiting for a date. I'll go for the short rib bolognese. That's actually my favorite one. It sounds amazing. I know it's kind of um very traditional, but spaghetti and meatballs here. It's like a very very very happy retirement. Good. Congratulations. You earned it. Thanks, Mom. That was good dinner. Thank you. We gave the rest of the gift card, like the remaining balance to the people sitting next to us. That's adding to our good karma pot. So, that means we're going to do good at the casino.

[Music] There are tons of free shows that you can enjoy in Vegas. Most bars and hotels on the strip offer free shows and entertainment. We came to Hara's for a dueling piano bar. It's so much fun. The guy is playing a lot of classic songs and wow, I'm so impressed. The most well-known free show on the Vegas strip is definitely the Bellagio Fountain Show. People gather here every night to watch the fountain show and they have it every 15 minutes or so. You can't miss out on this one. That was cool. Very nice. Very nice. I've been to Vegas once before and I've already seen this show, but it never gets old. I'll watch it every time I come to Vegas. The Sphere is one of Vegas's newest attractions. If you're on the strip, you can see it from anywhere, but if you come up close to it, it is gigantic. Going to a show in Vegas is a musto, but I think if you can make it to a show in the sphere, you'll have an extra special experience. Look at it already from the outside. Looks wild. Let's go.

[Applause] [Music] We just got back to the hotel and immediately came to the food court. The show was amazing. It was 4 hours long. So, we definitely got our money's worth with that show. We spent as much money on drinks as we did the tickets almost. It was $20 per beer, which is crazy. But since it was such a long show, we had to get some drinks. We're just going to enjoy our food and go straight to bed. Vegas 1, Cali Zero. Before we say goodbye, I'm going to leave you with one more tip for Vegas. Make sure you come ready to party because the night life in entertainment here is no joke. I definitely understand why they call it Sin City. I hope you enjoyed this video and liked some of my recommendations.

Good morning, everybody. We are in Las Vegas for my mom's retirement trip. It is like 6:30 a.m. Most people are going to sleep at this time. We woke up early because we are heading to the Grand Canyon today. We have a very thrilling day ahead of us because we are going on a helicopter ride to the bottom of the Grand Canyon. So, I'm a little bit nervous but very excited. But surprise, surprise, we are running a little bit late to catch our bus. So, let's hope we get there on time. We'll try our best. We can't miss this one this time. All the way across, you go to the lobby. Okay. Thank you so much. We were late, but somehow the bus is late, too. So, I think it's our lucky day. You excited for the Grand Canyon? Yeah. Excited for the helicopter? No. Somehow we convinced her to do this helicopter ride. But you're the most experienced one. She's been on a helicopter. and on a helicopter. And it was fun. It was fun. And you survived. And I survived. We actually chose an interesting tour because on the drive to the Grand Canyon, there's a comedian on board the bus. I guess he's telling jokes the whole time. So, we're just praying that he's funny. Oh, you guys are over at the Excalibur, though. It's fabulous, right? They told us to pick up, too. Jeez, the bus is packed. I was worried there weren't going to be any seats for us. I thought my uncle booked us a private tour, but made it. Yeah, we're heading to breakfast right now. The first stop on the tour is breakfast. We're going to a restaurant to eat something before we head to the Grand Canyon. They gave us these cards to fill out and it's just the menu. I chose some scrambled eggs and some coffee because I think I need a boost of energy since we were up so early. You got to bring those into the restaurant.

[Music] See, you should ride in the back with us. Pretty good. And you're making the comedian laugh. I'm telling you, you should get a bike. You guys could move to Vegas. They have a job. I have a new gig, both of you guys. Thank you. I got the health nut breakfast. It's scrambled eggs with veggies and cheese and some potatoes. I don't know if it's actually healthy, but sounded good. Of course, I have to put a splash of hot sauce on it. Anybody else? Well, where's my people? Who's here to celebrate the divorce? for that guy right there. We have just arrived at our first attraction of the day, the Hoover Dam. It's right behind me here. The Hoover Dam was built in the 1930s, and at the time it was the tallest dam in the world. Yes, I did some googling on the bus ride here. Hi. Now, we're on our way back to the bus and we will be heading to the Grand Canyon. I'm so excited. Although, now the helicopter ride is getting a bit more real. I'm getting more nervous as it gets closer.

[Music] Oh, kimchi in the middle of the desert. Even I'm shocked. We're at a small market in the middle of the desert and we found chin lamyan and tapagetti and kimchi and kim. The Kwave is real, you guys. It gets that far. Raise your hand. No line now. Don't be embarrassed cuz I kept calling. We got a game plan. Everybody clear? What are you waiting for? Go have fun on that helio. You go inside, go to the right, and check in there. I'll see you guys in What's your first name? Kathy. Okay, you're all set. So, honey, nice. Congratulations. Very jealous. It's time for the helicopter ride. Ready or not, here we go. Do that by bringing these straps across the top of your waist. Pretend it is a seat belt. Don't wrap this around your neck. After that, clip this little buckle into the side of this round piece tabs on the left and right side of the seat. Make sure you tighten both of them. When you're done, this round piece needs to be centered on your stomach and below your belly button. After that, grab these two shoulder straps. Click them in the top of that round piece. Good to go. Got the handles there. All right. I'm going to help you out, play, boy. So, y'all have the wrong one. Sorry, man. Sorry, brother. They're a little complicated.

[Music] We just got off the helicopter and oh my god, that was so exhilarating. The views were amazing and actually it wasn't as scary as I thought. I really enjoyed it and recommend it if you're coming to the Grand Canyon. I mean, look at this view. Breathtaking. Getting ready for takeoff again.

[Music] I could kiss the ground right now. We survived. That was wild. Thank you. Thank you for the safe ride. Thank you. You took it easy. He was a rough rougher flyer than Hawaii. It was nice to feel the helicopter. We take a penny and we press it. So you can choose what design you want and it turns your penny into that. You insert your coins and it will flatten the penny. Got to put some muscle into it. There we go. Oh, it's my penny. We just missed the bus. So probably catch up to the bus. Okay. Thank you. You're welcome. We'll catch up. Yeah, we'll be fine. Excuse me. Do you guys remember if we're meeting the bus here? The bus has just turned off. Perfect. Hello. Hi. How are you? Good. How are you? I'm good, thank you, honey. Thank you. Chicken, please. Chicken as well. How are you guys doing time up here? Oh, we're loving it. Isn't it beautiful? It's gorgeous. Your first time or second time? Um, second time, but it was a long time ago and we were at a different time. The south room. Yeah. I think I agree. Talk about lunch with a view. This is incredible. We've got some barbecue and we're going to just take it all in while we eat. I'm testing my limits here. Getting closer and closer to the edge. It's a total drop off. I need to make sure I'm very surefooted here. I don't want to trip and fall off the edge. There you go. Is that what that are gone? Oh, there. Yeah, our people left. So, we're leaving. 10 bucks. But it's heite. Oh, nice. How much? 10. Get it. Yes. Here we go. That's what you were yelling at. Cheers. Cheers. Thank you so much. Thank you. Have a good night.

We just got back from our amazing day at the Grand Canyon. We rested for a little while in our hotel and now we are having some dinner. What was the most memorable moment? Obviously would probably have to be the helicopter ride. Going down to bottom of the canyon. For me, it was a bucket list item. So getting to do that with the people I love the most was really special. Amazing. And actually, I have to say, I really liked the comedian. He reminded me of Seth Rogan. Yes. He kind of had a sarcastic, dry sense of humor, but his jokes were landing. I'm usually not huge on group tours, but I enjoyed this group tour. It was very convenient and comfortable. 10 out of 10. Check out the pinned comment below. Thank you for watching, everybody. Goodbye.
