As everybody knows, Melania Trump came out on Thursday totally unprovoked and decided to hold a press conference with nobody else from the administration, nobody from her office, nobody standing anywhere around her. It's just Melania, a lectern, a microphone, and a hell of a lot of cameras.
And during this truly truly bizarre press conference, she said that she absolutely was never friends with Jeffrey Epstein and Just Lane Maxwell. Uh, so how dare you defame her reputation, which is not how you would say that, but that's what she said, which immediately, according to reports, caused a little bit of panic inside the White House because they totally were not expecting this to be a thing that even happened. So, they were reportedly blindsided by the whole thing.
But most importantly, the entire American public was blindsided by it because we don't know why the hell you randomly decided to hold this press conference to be like, "I was never friends with Jeffrey Epstein." That might be the worst Melania impression anybody's ever done. But why? Why now? What what what prompted her to come out on a random Thursday afternoon and be like, "Okay, everybody, listen up. I just want you all to know I was not friends with Jeffrey Epstein and I was not friends with Gain Maxwell. Thank you."
Okay, we're we're you like when people think of the Epstein Files, when they talk about the Epstein Files, nobody's on the out there immediately saying like, "Oh, yeah, Melania. Melania." And I know there have been reports, right? Obviously, she's in photographs with them. There have been stories months ago about Melania's association with Epstein. Okay? So, I'm not saying it hasn't happened, but I am saying it doesn't happen right now. As far as I've seen, as a person who combs through the news all day, every day, nobody was out there pushing a narrative that Melania Trump was best friends with Jeffrey Epstein. I haven't seen that this week. So, the timing was unusually suspicious.
Now, there's a lot of theories out there as to why she did this. First one of course is that Donald Trump's disappearance last week and then of course that mysterious motorcade going to Walter Reed Memorial. I've seen doctors post that maybe she did this because Donald Trump got news that he's not going to be around long and so she is trying to come out distance herself from her husband on this issue because she knows he's not long for the world. That's a very weird theory, but I'm throwing it out there because that is something that is being talked about. I don't know about that one at all.
The second theory, more plausible one, is that a bomb's about to drop. And I'm not talking about a distraction from Iran, which of course is the third theory. But the second one is that there's about to be really, really, really horrible Melania Epstein news becoming public. That that seems very not just plausible, I would say likely at this point. Uh, and so they're calling this Melania's prebuttle, right? Instead of going out there after the fact, she's trying to get ahead of the issue because a big shoe was about to drop.
Then, of course, as I said, the third uh theory, which again, super plausible, is that this is supposed to be a distraction from Iran, and Iran was already supposed to be a distraction from the Epstein files. So, we've got a distraction on top of a distraction. It's distraction, I guess. Right.
But then there's the fourth theory, my theory, because the timing was also very coincidental. Because do you know what happened just a couple hours prior to Melania Trump coming out and doing this very weird press conference? Polls came out showing that Melania Trump is officially the most despised first lady in the history of the United States. So on the same day that we get these new polls saying Melania, no first lady has ever been hated the way you are hated, she came out and said, "Ah, I was never friends with the Epstein men." H that's a little suspicious.
In fact, here is the thing. Uh, here's the thing about these polls. Melania Trump's approval rating is 12 points underwater. That's how disliked she is by the entire American public. 12 points underwater for a person we never see. We never hear from up until, you know, a couple hours after that poll came out. But they hate her. And to put that in perspective here, a year ago, she was three points above water. But Michelle Obama during this point in Barack Obama's presidency was 42 points above water. Laura Bush was 46 points above water. Hillary Clinton, who was not liked in the 90s at all, was 25 points above water. And of course, Nancy Reagan 50 points above water. I imagine Nancy Reagan's uh approval rating is probably even higher today given given the news that you know came out a couple years ago about her talents. But nevertheless, I can't believe I said that. Nevertheless, Melania Trump is despised, but I don't really care. Do you?
