Now we are focusing on three out of these 12 universal laws. First, we will look at the law of cause and effect. Then, we'll take a look at the law of compensation, and finally, we look at the law of action.
So, what is the law of cause and effect all about? According to the law of cause and effect, nothing is by chance or coincidence. I want you to have a clear understanding that this is in the in the light of something always influencing whatever happens to happen. There is always a force, there is always an influence. Sometimes it could even be the forces of nature. Sometimes it could be human instruments. Sometimes it could be divine influence, and which could be by the power of the spirit. Sometimes it could be angelic, angelic interventions and operations. And then from the dark kingdom, sometimes it could be demonic forces demanding different dimensions of demonic powers and forces. So, it could be some spiritual force, some spiritual influence that made that thing to happen. Sometimes it could be a human vessel that may never be even discovered that has secretly done that thing or made that thing to happen. And then sometimes it could just be the forces of nature at work making that thing to happen. It's Matthew 7 verse 1 to 2. Matthew 7 verse 1 to 2. And in the New Living Translation, it says, "Do not judge others, and you will not be judged, for you will be treated as you treat others."
The law of cause and effect is what is it's what equals what is generally known as a law of karma. It is also a classic example of the saying that what goes around comes around. What goes around comes around, or you reap what you sow. You reap what you sow. All of these are related to the law of cause and effect. You can, for instance, plant a mango tree and expect to reap apples. You reap exactly what you sow.
And then Matthew 5 verse Matthew 5:7 Contemporary English Version, it says, "God blesses those people who are merciful. They will be treated with mercy. They will be treated with mercy." This law, in summary, relates to us taking full responsibility and accountability for our lives, understanding that every action has an equal consequence. Every action has an equal consequence. Understanding that what we sow is what we will eventually reap, is what will eventually reap. Therefore, we are responsible for everything that happens in our lives energetically, subconsciously, and intentionally through our actions, through our words, through our words.
In Proverbs 18:21, Proverbs 18:21 Good News Translation, Good News Translation, he says, "What you say, what you say can preserve life. Death and life are in the power of your words." Then the power of your tongue, what you say can preserve life or destroy it. So, you must accept the consequences of your words.
In Proverbs 12:14, Proverbs 12:14 Contemporary English Version, it says, "We are rewarded or punished for what we say and do. We are rewarded or punished for what we see or what we do." So, this law can work for you simply if you study. Very important, if you study the actions of those who have achieved what you want to achieve. For instance, if you want to become a successful entrepreneur, you can study a very successful entrepreneur as well.
And number two is the law of compensation. The law of compensation. The law of compensation is an extension of the law of cause and effect. The law of compensation explains that what you give is what you get back. What you give is what you get back. The law states that one shall always be compensated. Another word for that is what rewarded. Another word for that is paid back. One shall always be compensated for the efforts and for the contribution, whatever it may be, however much or however little, you will always receive some compensation for your efforts, whether good or bad. So, for example, if you are kind, you will receive kindness or better things in return. That exact time of your compensation, your reward will differ with different people, but it will surely come. So, if you are kind, you will receive kindness. You will receive better things in return. It may not come from the people you showed kindness to. This is what makes it mysterious and supernatural. It may not, it's not even you should not even expect that that it will come. It must come from the people you showed kindness to.
Proverbs 11:17, Proverbs 11:17 Amplified Bible Classic Edition, it says, "The merciful, kind, and generous man, are you that kind of person? The merciful, kind, and generous man or woman benefits himself, for his deeds return to bless him." These things are in scriptures. His deeds return to blessing. When it begins to happen later, people will say, people who have always known you, who say, "You see the good things he had done, she had done." So many people in the past, it's what is happening to him now. And the next new year, one common expression, people will now say, "God is faithful. God is faithful." Because they have seen, you know, someone being properly rewarded for the good seeds that were sown in the past. He says, "The merciful, kind, and generous man benefits himself, for his deeds return to blessing. But he who is cruel and callous to the ones of others brings on himself retribution." You can now understand why those who give and know me mostly still reap the reward. You can now understand why people who do good secretly still reap the reward. So, anything you are doing secretly, anything you are doing secretly that is good, please keep it up because it's God that is going to influence, you know, circumstances to ensure that that good thing you have been doing secretly is rewarded positively in the process of time. It's God that has the responsibility.
It's Matthew 7:2. "The standard you use in judging is the standard by which you will be judged." The law of compensation, the law of compensation now will determine the quality, the quantity of the consequences, the reward, all the repercussions that will come.
Proverbs 11:31, Proverbs 11:31, it says, Good News Translation, it says, "Those who are good are rewarded here on earth." It's in the Bible. It's not only when we get to heaven. It's not only from the judgment seat of Christ after the rapture. That is a moment of reward, but the Bible tells us that there is a dimension of reward that comes here on earth. So, you can be sure that wicked and sinful people will be punished. Wicked and sinful people will be punished.
Second Corinthians chapter 9 verse 6, Second Corinthians 9:6 Amplified Bible Classic Edition, he said, "Remember this: He who sows sparingly and grudgingly will also reap sparingly and grudgingly. He's a spiritual law. And he also generously, that blessings may come to someone, will also reap generously." Weak and with blessings. So, what is your job? Your job is to start acting in ways that are likely to bring the results you desire. Start taking intentional actions that are likely to bring the results you desire. When you do this, you will subsequently attract the rewards for your work.
And so, the third and the last one is the law of action. The law of action. It takes that you have to take action towards your desires if you want to see their physical manifestation. This law helps you to realize that if you are to succeed, you will need to take action. The law of action is what is required to transform your thoughts and desires into physical reality. The law states that you must do some effective things, not just doing, taking action, but effective and strategic methods and approach to different things we desire to achieve. The law states that you must take certain necessary actions in order to achieve whatever you want to achieve. And unless you take effective and necessary actions that are in harmony with your dreams and desires, you will not, you may not see results as time passes.
Proverbs 22:3, it says, Good News Translation, "He says, sensible people will see trouble coming." The law of action. Sensible people will see trouble coming and avoid it. But an unthinking person will walk right into it and regret it later.
The law of action. Proverbs 20 verse 4, Proverbs 20 verse 4 Easy to Read Version, he said, "Some people are too lazy to plant seeds, too lazy." So, at harvest time, subsequently, now what will happen? They look for food and find nothing. They love action. They love action. Just thinking about something and talking about it is different from actually following through with it. So, what must you do going forward? You have to take inspired, actionable steps towards what you want. Even when the step is small, it still has, it still has a positive effect and it's better than doing nothing. And take note of this, if you have already done a very sound appraisal, brainstorming, research, consultation, and then you have found out what is best to do. Now, if you take steps, you take action, and you fail, the fact that that the action you took was based on a well-researched and thought out, you know, consideration, you didn't just act anyhow, but you took the most informed decision. Now, if you take the best and the most informed decision and you fail, you're on the right path. You're on the right path. And if you are persistent, your success will eventually show up.
And I see there's an advantage that comes with these laws. Let me tell you this now as we are closing. There is, there is a reward for hard work. It's in the scriptures, all over the scriptures, there is a reward for hard work. When you put in serious efforts and then wisely, you ensure that you are acting intelligently, not just putting in effort, but you are taking the most intelligent, you know, step to achieve that thing. There is a reward, a grace that will come from God to honor the intelligent and determined efforts you have made.
