Claude has become a popular AI model due to being exceptionally good at deep, complex, and creative work. Alongside Claude, we have Canva, an all-in-one design platform that has made creating and designing anything possible for everyone. This leads us on to the Canva connector for Claude. You can, with natural language, describe your designs to Claude, then with Claude's industry-leading, highly creative output, you'll have stunning designs that can then be modified directly inside of Canva. The results are much better than if you were just using Canva AI to generate these customizable designs.

All right, so with that covered, let's go ahead and dive in and show you how to create stunning designs using Canva and Claude. Let's get into it.

Okay, so to start creating stunning pieces of content for your business, like social media posts, you already need to have a Claude and Canva account. You can get started with Claude for free by jumping over to claude.ai and then signing up, and you'll be taken here. Then navigate over to the left-hand side and click on customize. Locate connectors, and let's create a new connection. Browse connectors, search for Canva in the search bar, or locate Canva down here, and click on connect. Choose the Canva account you want to connect and click on allow. And as you can see, authorization successful. For now, let's keep these settings as default.

Navigate back over to Claude and open up a new chat. As I mentioned earlier, all we need to do is add a prompt describing what it is that we want to create. The more detail about the social media posts or other business content that we want to create, the better the output.

Okay, so here's an example. Now, what you want to do is prompt Canva by adding Canva up here, and then describing the social media post that you want to create, or the specific design you're looking to generate. I've added create seven stunning square social media posts for the pizza company called Chill Nights Pizza. The message we want to convey is pizza is a good idea every night of the week. Be creative and humorous with each post for each day of the week. Add our logo to the top left of each image. I'm going to navigate down here and add my logo. Here's the logo I want to use. And I'm actually going to add to be more clear, see attached image to use. Now, we also want to navigate over here and make sure that the Canva connector is turned on. As you can see, this is enabled, and then we can simply click on submit.

Now, it's important to note that the Canva connector is completely free to use. This means on a free Claude account as well as by connecting a free Canva account. Okay, so I want to allow access. This will give Claude Canva access, and now we just need to give this a moment. As you can see, the Canva connector is being used.

Okay, so as you can see, Claude has generated our seven social media posts as well as multiple concepts for each day. And soon, what we'll do is further customize these inside of Canva. Here we have concept posts for Monday. Beat Monday blues, case of Mondays, pizza fixes everything. Okay, so we can customize these further if we like. I like what Claude has created for my Monday post. Let's navigate down further. Here we have posts for Tuesdays. And what we can do is click on each post and have a more clear look into each post. I like how Claude has generated content and listened to my prompt. I asked Claude to be creative with these posts as well as humorous, which they've done so here. Taco Tuesday, we don't know her, it's pizza Tuesday. Now, you can see the logo needs some work. Claude hasn't actually pulled in my logo. However, we can add that inside of Canva.

Okay, before you open in Canva, let's close this and navigate down to Wednesday's posts, and I like the look of all of these. We have Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday posts. We can see a description of the output. Case of Mondays, here we have the days of the week as well as the concept for each day. Each set gives you four design options to choose from.

Okay, so what we can do is navigate through each of these posts. So, for example, we can navigate across and choose a post we want to customize. Click on open in Canva, and that's going to open up an external link to Canva. Then, we can simply customize this post further using the Canva editor. We can add elements from the left-hand side as well as text elements, images, videos, and more. Now, what I'm going to do is delete this, and you can see there's multiple elements here, then upload, and upload my logo. And I'm going to make that smaller and add that up here. I'm happy with that. I can then go ahead, share, and download that post, and share this post on social media.

Okay, let's jump back over to our Claude designs. Hey guys, just quickly, did you know that over 90% of you that enjoy our free educational content have not yet subscribed? It would mean a lot to me if you drop a comment or hit subscribe if you love what I'm creating. This helps us grow the channel and motivates me to create bigger and more impactful tutorials for you to consume for free.

Okay, so that happy note, thank you in advance, and let's get back to the video. And navigate down, and again, we can choose a post and open in Canva. Create link, and then make changes to all this content. For example, I'm going to change the font by navigating down here and selecting the font that I want to use. Again, all of these elements are customizable from inside Canva. Simply click on the element and make your changes. I'm going to click on these two elements, change the alignment, and then click on uploads, and add my logo. Okay, let's make this smaller, and let's place that over here.

As you can see, this is incredibly powerful. Anyone can now design anything from inside Claude and then easily customize those designs inside of Canva. This is with the free connect between Claude and Canva. Now, if you're interested in learning more about everything that you can do with Canva AI, I will add a relevant tutorial down below in the description for you to check out.
