About my uncle. My uncle had a red pickup truck. It was a raggedy truck. You could hear the truck coming a mile away. And my uncle would pick us up from school in that old red truck. And every time he would pick us up, I would get mad at my mama, cuz I was ashamed of my uncle's truck.
One day we got home from school, and my auntie told us, she said, "Guess what, y'all?" I said, "What, Auntie?" She said, "Your uncle got in a car accident." I said, "Oh, God, is he all right?" She said, "Yeah, he's all right." My second question was, "What vehicle was he in?" She said, "He was in the red pickup truck." I said, "Yes," because I'm hoping that the truck got totaled in the car accident.
What about an hour later, we could hear that old red pickup truck chuckling down the street. When it got down the street, I said, "Uncle, I thought the truck was in a car accident." He said, "It was." I said, "Well, why is your truck still here?" He said, "Well, nephew, the car I hit is not totaled." He said, "But my truck is quite all right." He said, "The bumper is hanging off." He said, "The rearview mirrors, they hang off." He said, "I got a dent over there, and I got a dent over here, but the truck is still running." I said, "Tell me, Uncle, how is the truck still running?" He said, "Because the car accident, it messed up the body, but it didn't hit the engine."
Come here, perfected. You might be going through your own trial, and the trial may mess up your body, but the engine is still rolling. I don't know the name of who I'm preaching to, but please look at your neighbor and say, "Hey, neighbor, you might be going through, you might be sick here and there, you may have your own trauma, but tell them, 'Hold on just a little while longer, cuz the Holy Ghost is still moving, the Holy Ghost is still working, the Holy Ghost is still pushing.'"
