Week five is officially here, and now it is time to make our waiver claims for fantasy football. Today, I will be going through everything waivers, talking about the players that should be rostered, my top 10 running back and wide receiver adds of the week, and my three favorite quarterback and tight end streams going into week five.
Week five, the first week of by-weeks in fantasy football, making this week's waiver wire the most important of the year. So don't miss out, and let's waste no more time and go to the players that should be rostered. Starting with Wan'Dale Robinson of the New York Giants. And again, the elephant in the room here, Malik Neighbors, bad ACL tear, out for the season. And Wan'Dale Robinson is the next man up for this Giants offense. We saw last year 140-plus targets, and he has a real shot at a 25-plus% target share for this Giants offense moving forward. In my opinion, with Wan'Dale, he should be viewed as a top 50 wide receiver with top 36 wide receiver upside. We'll see how Jalen Daniels looks. Good signs in his first start. We will be trusting Wan'Dale Robinson. Again, he's rostered in 64% of leagues, but if he is available in yours, go and pick him up.
Elijah Moore, same thing. Rostered in 57% of the leagues, not quite making the cut, but we love what we have seen from Elijah Moore right now. Straight up, he looks better than Calvin Ridley, and he has 25 targets in his first four games. And it looks like that rapport he's building with Cam Ward is on the right track. Now, Cam Ward right now, a little bit more of a volatile quarterback, but we know the upside. First overall pick, very talented player. If Cam Ward can start playing better, and Elijah can have the opportunity to be the one here, there is a ton of ceiling in fantasy football. I like the prospect. He was a top eight wide receiver for me, and I think he is a perfect fit with this Titans offense moving forward, assuming that after they fire Callahan, we start to see some positive signs.
And moving on to a quarterback, again, this guy should be rostered. He is in 68% of the leagues, but in the 32% of leagues that he is not rostered, Justin Fields needs to be picked up immediately. He came back against Miami and he looked awesome, man. 20-plus points per game in three games he's played this year. And his rushing lines in those games: 48 yards, 49 yards, and 81 yards in those three starts. To me, he's a top 12 option and a must-roster quarterback moving forward. And the same thing can be said at tight end. Hunter Henry is the next name here. Rostered in 69% of leagues, but still available in 31%. And if Hunter Henry is available in your league, he's currently a top three tight end in fantasy. He's shown spike week upside with Drake May and he has touchdown equity in two games in his last four of eight targets and 11 targets. With the Patriots wide receiver core a big question mark right now, Hunter Henry is a must-start option at tight end. Like I said, currently a top three tight end on the year.
But let's go on to the official list. Starting off with the number one waiver wire pickup of the week, and this should be unanimous. If there is a single fantasy football channel not touting Woody Marks as the clear number one pickup, they sadly do not know ball. Because with Woody Marks, he saw his breakout week in week four: 27.9 PPR points, 22 backfield touches, and two touchdowns from scrimmage in week four. And now we get this quote from head coach DeMeco Ryans saying that the team is excited to see how much more Woody Marks can handle moving forward. Again, for a running back that just handled 22 touches in this game, it's clear as day they're done with the Nick Chubb experiment. They don't know what the current return timeline is for Joe Mixon. And it's kind of fitting, you know, Giovanni Bernard ended up being replaced by Joe Mixon. It would be fitting if the Giovanni Bernard reincarnate was the one that ends up taking over for Joe Mixon. But all jokes aside, man, with Woody Marks, he looks elusive as a runner. He clearly has a role in the receiving game. And if his snaps are going to continue to uptick, we are talking about a potential league winner. He's a top 30 running back for me rest of the season. And if he is available on your wire, yes, number one priority, yes, 50-plus% of the FAB. I would be willing to bid whatever FAB you have left. If you have 100% of your FAB budget, I'd be willing to put it on Woody Marks. If you think you can get it done for 52%, put 52%. We talk all year about trying to find, you know, this year's Bucky Irving, and to me, Woody Marks is the best bet at that.
Speaking of Bucky Irving, we talk about his backup with Rachaad White of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as the number two waiver claim of the week. And the reason being, Bucky Irving actually did get banged up in week four. He suffered an ankle injury and he is currently getting an MRI on that injury. And it's very unfortunate, man. Bucky Irving, you know, second-round pick, very, very talented. Hopefully, for his sake, the ankle sprain isn't too bad. However, if Rachaad White is available in your league, he is a must-start option if Bucky Irving is not in the lineup. Because we've seen Rachaad White look a lot more efficient this year compared to years past. We now have Tristan Wirfs coming back to the fold on offense, and this is a Bucs offensive situation that we want to be targeting the running back of. We literally have a sample of Rachaad White being a top 10 running back in fantasy just two years ago. So realistically, with Rachaad White, we know as a pure handcuff when Bucky Irving is out, Rachaad White can be trusted as a top 24 running back in our rankings, and we might have an opportunity to do so. The current rumors that Bucky Irving could miss anywhere between two to five weeks. Heck, even if you said, "I got one week of Rachaad White starting," I'd be willing to spend 30 to 40% of my FAB budget because, like I said, having a reliable, you know, RB2 that you can plug in is so valuable in the current running back climate. And Rachaad White, if Bucky Irving is out, is exactly that type of running back. To me, if Bucky Irving is ruled out tomorrow, Rachaad White would be a top 15 to 20 running back in my rankings for week five. So the fact of the matter is, if he is available in your league and he has an option that you can plug into your lineup right away, Rachaad White is that guy. Like I said, 30 to 40% wouldn't spend as much on Rachaad White as I would Woody Marks based on the longevity factor. But if you need wins, man, Rachaad White can get you them.
And coming in as my number three pickup and a tier drop, I would say Woody Marks tier one. We had Rachaad White kind of in tier two, like I mentioned with Woody Marks 100% of the FAB. Uh, with Rachaad White, I mentioned 30 to 40%. We hit on to number three with Romeo Doubs of the Green Bay Packers. A guy that I have listed at 10 to 15% of the FAB on. And we see the big game obviously Sunday Night Football. Explosive performance, three touchdowns against the Cowboys, and he has played 94% and 87% of the Packers' routes in back-to-back games following that Jayden Reed injury. It is clear he is the ex-wide receiver for Jordan Love. And to me, he has weekly flex appeal given the touchdown equity he has in this offense. You won't be able to play him in week five. The Green Bay Packers are on bye-week in week five, but moving forward, I view Doubs as a high-end depth piece that can help you get through by-week season. You know, come week five, week six, week seven, week eight, we are in the prime of by-week season. And to me, Romeo Doubs in a PPR league is someone you can plug into your flex in any given point.
But moving on to my number four waiver pickup of the week, we have Malik Washington of the Miami Dolphins. And just going to get the elephant out of the room, man. Unfortunate news with Tyreek Hill. Does look like he dislocated his knee and suffered a multi-ligament knee tear. I hope for his sake that he's able to come back and look like the old Tyreek Hill in the NFL, but at this point, that seems very unlikely. Hopefully for his sake, it's not a career-threatening injury, but we had to address it. We'll move on to the waiver because with Malik Washington, obviously, he's the next beneficiary to the Tyreek Hill news. With Malik Washington, he can show that he is the next man up in this Miami offense, and he's technically only been used in three-wide receiver sets like with Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. Obviously, he was the number three. And even last night, we saw Nick Westbrook-Ikhine work more on the outside. But to me, with Hill out of the lineup, we see Malik Washington's role expand. With Malik Washington, I thought he was a good prospect coming out of college. And there is plenty of volume available for Miami. Darren Waller, he's not going to catch two touchdowns every week. And Malik Washington can kind of mimic, you know, some of those designed plays that we saw from Tyreek Hill. You know, the little bubble screens, the end-arounds. Malik Washington is capable of taking that type of role. And if he's able to get that along with maybe a 20-plus% target share, we are talking about a legitimate weekly option.
And waiver pickup number five. And to me, I would have this guy higher if I needed to. And I think he is the best value on this list. So if you guys are value hunting, maybe you spent a lot of your fabs, I think Jaylen Coker is the single best value on this list because he's kind of the forgotten man right now. And you only should be able to have to spend, you know, 5 to 10% of your fab. The reason that we love Jaylen Coker, we love Jaylen Coker coming into the season. He was one of my favorite sleepers coming in, and now he is healthy. He is coming back from IR, potentially able to play in week five, and that is massive news, man, because like I said, I was high on Coker coming into the year, and the Panthers need ready-made targets on the outside. We know what DJ Chark can do. Bryce Young needs a steady wide receiver two added to the fold, and I think that's exactly what Jaylen Coker provides. We already heard confirmation in the preseason that Jaylen Coker was expected to take that slot wide receiver role. Now, unfortunately, he suffers that preseason hamstring strain that sidelined him, but my thoughts on Jaylen Coker remain. And if he could be the number two wide receiver on a passing offense that's thrown the ball 33 times per game with Bryce Young, I think Coker has top 40 upside. Like I said, do not miss out on Jaylen Coker. If you spent up on some of the waiver wire darlings of the last few weeks, maybe you spent up majority of your fab on Quentin Johnston in week one, I think Jaylen Coker is the best bang for your buck, 5 to 10%. And like I said, my expectation is a wide receiver four with wide receiver three-plus upside in PPR.
Number six, we got Kendre Miller of the New Orleans Saints. And it's pretty simple here. He had 11 carries next to Alvin Kamara on week four. And the Saints are an 0-and-4 football team. Like sooner rather than later, we're hearing so many rumors Kamara's going to get traded here, Kamara's going to get traded there. The minute that Alvin Kamara gets traded, Kendre Miller is a starting running back for this team. And sure, New Orleans not the most attractive situation out there, but Kendre Miller's looked good so far. And he is the clear number two right now behind Alvin Kamara. He clearly beat out Jamaal Williams. And like I said, if Kamara were to get moved tomorrow, we're talking about a legitimate top 30 rest of the season running back. There should not be any question marks where the workload would go to considering he's already beaten out Jamaal Williams.
All my number seven pickup of the week is Bashaud Breeland of the Kansas City Chiefs. And we saw in week four, eight touches, four targets out of the backfield, and 26% of the snaps for Bashaud Breeland. We saw his role expanded dramatically. And with how Isiah Pacheco and Jerick McKinnon have played ahead of him, who's to say that Bashaud Breeland can't end up being this team's starting running back? And he hasn't really popped in the box score just yet. Like, I don't think you have to spend a huge amount to get Bashaud Breeland. But to me, he's tailor-made for that Jerick McKinnon receiving back role for a Chiefs team that needs to throw the football. They haven't had success running the football. They have clearly shown both in the red zone and overall that they want to throw the football across the yard. And to me, Bashaud Breeland is by far their best receiving back on the roster. And now we see this quote from Andy Reid that Matt Nagy is trying to increase Bashaud Breeland's snaps every week and put him in a position where he can do some things. And again, this isn't going to be a short process. We're not going to see suddenly in week five Bashaud Breeland starting running back for the Chiefs. Maybe it takes till week eight, maybe it takes till week nine, maybe it takes till week 11. Who's to say when Bashaud Breeland ends up being the starter, but for now, he's a high-upside handcuff with the opportunity to be in that Woody Marks blow-all-your-fab-on-him level area. So to me, number seven pickup, you get the value now. I actually said this about Woody Marks in week two, so maybe I'm a profit two times in a row.
Next up at number eight, we have Isaiah Bond of the Cleveland Browns. And his usage has gone up in the last two weeks. And now Cedric Tillman leaves the game with a hamstring injury with Isaiah Bond 10 targets in these last two games, and he was a top 100 level NFL prospect before off-field concerns pushed him towards being undrafted. The talent is clearly there, and if the opportunity is there with Cedric Tillman out of the lineup, Isaiah Bond to me could be a solid flex option in PPR leagues. This is a high-volume passing offense with Flacco. And like I said, through by-weeks, you can do a lot worse than Isaiah Bond given the flashes we saw this week.
At number nine, we got Jalen Tolbert of the Dallas Cowboys. And this is only for an intermediate play. Like maybe you are the CeeDee Lamb team. Maybe you're one and three, you're two and two, you're zero and four. You need wins right away. And maybe you're fighting some by-weeks. I think Jalen Tolbert, given the role he has in this Cowboys vertical passing attack, is a must-pickup option in that type of scenario. Because with Jalen Tolbert getting 80-plus% of the snaps on this Cowboys offense, and Dak Prescott is simply playing insane right now, over 42 pass attempts per game. And while Jake Ferguson and Michael Gallup are clearly the number one and two targets right now, it's clear to me that with Jalen Tolbert, you're getting six-plus target weekly upside with the opportunity to score a touchdown. In by-weeks, maybe you're without Drake London, maybe you're without Romeo Doubs, maybe you're without a big-time option in your lineup. I think you can throw Jalen Tolbert into a pinch, and he can get you 10 to 12 points easily.
But moving on to pick up number 10, we got Darius Slayton of the New York Giants. And obviously, like I said with Wan'Dale Robinson, elephant in the room. Malik Neighbors is going to be out for the season. I do prefer Wan'Dale Robinson straight up because I do view the target upside for Wan'Dale being higher. But Darius Slayton is this vertical ex-wide receiver for a quarterback that looked really good this past week. Like Jalen Daniels stepped into his first start, looked good, upset the Chargers, and that wasn't a bad matchup. I think moving forward if Daniels can feel comfortable in the pocket, deliver some more deep shots down the field. I mean, the targets are wide open. Like Malik Neighbors was out there averaging, you know, 10, 12, 13 targets per game. That should be dispersed more evenly along Darius Slayton and Wan'Dale Robinson. I do prefer Wan'Dale, like I said, but if you are in a deep league and need someone to plug in, Darius Slayton is not the worst option.
But moving on to my top three tight end streams for week five, Mason Taylor comes in at one, 11% rostered here. And with Mason Taylor, you have gotten 70-plus% of the team routes in the last four weeks as a rookie tight end. On top of that, you have the big performance, big-time game against Miami. And I think with Mason Taylor, we have to be viewing him as an every-week, you know, top 15 to 18 tight end with legitimate tight end one upside.
But moving on to my second stream at tight end, we have Luke Musgrave of the Jacksonville Jaguars. Like Mason Taylor, he's played in 70-plus% of the routes in each game this year. And we have seen in the last two weeks 14 combined targets for Luke Musgrave. Cole Kmet still out of the lineup. Cole Kmet still not a full-time player. And it is clear across the middle of the field that Justin Fields trusts Luke Musgrave.
And Darren Waller comes in next. He was sparingly used, only 36% of the routes in week four, but he did catch two touchdowns. He did command four targets. And obviously, like I mentioned with Malik Washington, the elephant in the room of the Tyreek Hill injury. We see maybe second week with Darren Waller active, his snap share goes up. And sure, he's not going to score two touchdowns every week, but with Carolina representing a difficult matchup for the receivers of Miami, I do think we could see the passing game funnel through Waller.
But moving on to the top three quarterback streams of the week, we got Jalen Daniels of the New York Giants. And it wasn't a crazy passing game, like 20 attempts, 111 passing yards. I do think that will go up moving forward. But we did see a massive rushing ceiling for Daniels: 10 carries, 54 rushing yards, and a rushing touchdown in that game against the Chargers. And now gets a game against New Orleans. So if you have some by-weeks at quarterback, I think Jalen Daniels is a fringe top 15 level quarterback option for me this week.
And Bryce Young is a little bit more risky. He's a little bit more of a desperation play. But if Jaylen Coker is active, I think that's the caveat I will add. If Jaylen Coker's out, you don't play Bryce Young. But if Jaylen Coker is back for week five, we get a very good matchup going up against the Miami Dolphins. Their secondary has been horrendous all year. And Bryce Young has quietly thrown a ton of volume. Like I said, 33 attempts per game when I was talking through Coker. And with Bryce Young, if he's able to get his number two wide receiver back for this game in this crazy good matchup against Miami, I do trust him as a fringe top 20, top 22 level option this week.
And finally, at number three here, we have Sam Darnold of the Seattle Seahawks. Again, he's quietly been, you know, solid this year. He hasn't had a crazy big blow-up performance, but we have an extremely pass-funnel Tampa Bay defense coming up next. Tampa Bay Seahawks at home, big-time game in the NFC. And while we haven't seen the volume be there for Darnold, like I said, no team is really able to run on Tampa Bay, and the Seahawks should have a hard time doing so. So, with that being said, I'm expecting more volume this week. Darnold's been efficient, and I think JSN might very well fry the Tampa Bay secondary.
And finally, I'll ring off some guys that you can drop if you currently roster them. Taekwon Thorne with Xavier Worthy back, not really going to be a good value moving forward. We had a couple spike weeks, but I don't think many of those are going to be coming with Xavier Worthy and then in a couple weeks, Rashee Rice entering back into the fold. Dylan Samson pushed Henderson forward. You can drop him. This is Quentin Judkins' backfield. Tank Bigsby. AJ Dillon was working ahead of him. And Saquon Barkley is one of the biggest workhorses in the NFL. You can safely drop Tank Bigsby. Evan Engram, you just should have a better tight end option. Like if, like a Hunter Henry, I doubt is available, you obviously pick him up. Heck, even all three options I mentioned in the tight ends to stream list, they are better options than Evan Engram moving forward. If you still roster Evan Engram, get rid of him. Hollywood Brown, very similar to Taekwon Thorne, Xavier Worthy and Rashee Rice, they're going to be back in the fold within the next few weeks. Caleb Johnson, I mean, it's very clear that Jaylen Moore is a starter and Kenny Gainwell is the handcuff on this team. So, if you're rostering Caleb Johnson, don't.
Breece Hall ends up getting injured in that game against Monday Night. But even prior to that, man, like these first few games didn't really look that good. Wasn't really getting a huge workload. And this is still a bad Jets team. And then of course, Malik Neighbors and Tyreek Hill, both having their significant knee injuries. But again, appreciate you guys for making it through this video. If you guys enjoyed, make sure you leave a like down below. If you want access to all of our rankings moving forward, check out flockfantasy.com, promo code FSE to get started. But with that being said, peace out. Good luck on your waiver wires. Go secure your targets.
