He used MATH to create ART 😭

Do you see this picture here right now? It looks like a digital painting, but it is actually pure math. A research student at UCL went viral for creating stunning artwork using only mathematical equations. We always hear that math is the universal language. Fractals are in nature. The golden spiral is everywhere. But seeing someone render a full masterpiece with just numbers makes you question reality.

So, how does he do it? Any equation can create a shape on a graph. Like this one here literally plots a heart. But remember, a digital picture is just a rectangular grid of pixels. And every pixel is defined by an RGB color code. So, this guy wrote a massive equation that doesn't just draw lines. It calculates the exact color value for every single pixel in the grid. He isn't drawing. He's coding visual reality.

It's beautiful, but it's also kind of tripping everyone out. If art can be reduced to a formula, are we just looking at the source code of the universe?
