[music] oud [music] [music] [music] A pious young man lives in a palace where horror reigns. It was a palace full of temptation. Not only the minister's wife tries to tempt him, but also other women. All of them call him to sedition. He begins to call to his Lord. They threaten me with prison. Allah, look at what a high degree of chastity. Lord, let them carry out their threats. Let them put me in prison. That is, if you do not turn away their cunning thoughts from me, then I may not be able to restrain myself, I may fall before them. Look how he relies on Allah, his Lord. The news reached whom? The minister. He knew that the news had already spread everywhere and was afraid of losing what? His reputation. And this is the most important thing, the reputation of the palace. As for people, they mean nothing to them. This is despite the fact that he spoke and was one of the most decent of people. And so the minister of Egypt decides to imprison him. Oh Allah, the minister of Egypt, to shut people's mouths and for rumors to spread that Yusuf tried to tarnish the honor of his wife, ordered him to be imprisoned. Imagine, and this is after Yusuf relied on Allah and ran away from temptation. Despite all this, he was put in prison with whom? With murderers, thieves, criminals, and rapists. Most people in prison are criminals. Yusuf, peace be upon him, ends up in prison. Prisons were not like they are now. Only Allah knows what prisons were like thousands of years ago. Yusuf found himself in prison in this deaf, dark place after his young years passed when he lived in prosperity and luxury. And now he ended up in prison, and he ended up in prison innocent. Although rumors spread among people that it was he who intended to commit sedition, setting his eyes on women and the minister's wife. And so, to protect women, they imprisoned him. Do you see how they sang his reputation and imprisoned him innocent? Imagine what it was like for Yusuf in prison. So Yusuf stayed for some time until one day two men were placed with him. Yusuf saw them entering the prison, how they entered the dungeon, he looked at them and thought, what is their story? One of them was the king's cupbearer, he served drinks to the king, his name was Naboth, and the second worked for the king as a baker, his name was Muri. Naboth was the cupbearer, and Muri was the baker, and both of them served the king. They were both thrown into the dungeon, both imprisoned on charges of attempting to murder the king. Although the baker was guilty, who tried to poison the king and kill him, someone instigated the king. The cupbearer warned the king not to touch the bread, for it was soaked in poison. When the baker was brought, he confessed his guilt, but added that the cupbearer also added poison. Thus, both were imprisoned. Days passed, and if someone needed something in prison, everyone turned to Yusuf, who was kind to people. Seeing someone sad, to somehow alleviate his sorrow, seeing someone sick, he healed him, seeing someone in need, he helped him, shared his burden. Everyone knew that Yusuf provided help to prisoners. One night, the cupbearer and the baker had dreams, they turned to Yusuf, peace be upon him, with a request to interpret their dreams. We see that you are an unusual person. In prison, everyone honors and respects you, you are distinguished by kindness. We had dreams, could you interpret them for us? Yusuf, peace be upon him, then seized the opportunity, and before interpreting their dreams, he began to call them to Allah. [music] [music] Even though Yusuf, peace be upon him, was oppressed, slandered, wronged, and imprisoned, he still used the opportunity to call to Allah. Such are the prophets. They are completely different. They call to Allah in any situation. They told him what they dreamed of. He did not answer them anything until he called them to Allah. Great is He and Glorious. I can tell you in advance what food you will be served. They were surprised. Are you an oracle or a fortune teller? He answered: No, Allah taught me this. He wanted to attach their hearts to Allah, the Exalted. It's as if he is telling them that he is a prophet, and this is one of his miraculous qualities. Then he tells them: I am from the palace of the minister, where people live, the minister and his wife, who do not believe in Allah. He did not want to tell them directly, saying, you are both unbelievers. He was gentler. I came from people who do not believe in Allah and do not believe in the Day of Judgment. They asked: Where are you from yourself, Yusuf? And what is your faith? They listened to him attentively, for he promised to explain their dreams, and so they waited. They liked his words and how he openly and gently began to call them to Allah. He addressed them friendly, calling them companions. Companions in what? Companions, remember Yusuf's gentle approach. He demonstrates the best approach and treats them as companions in [music] prison. The king is a lord, the minister is also a lord, many different [music] lords, plus there are also gods. He began to call them to faith in Allah instead of him. You [music] worship only Allah. He commanded that you worship no one but Him. This is the right faith, but most people do not know. After completing the call, having conveyed his message to them, he asked them directly and openly: Many different lords, or Allah the One, the Almighty? This is the truth that no one can dispute. This is what corresponds to the uncorrupted fitra. If they asked themselves this question, they would have come to a clear answer themselves. Of course, Allah is One and the Almighty. After he conveyed the religion of Allah, the Exalted, to them, he proceeded to interpret their dreams. Now Yusuf knows that one of them will be released and the king, and the second will die. But he did not tell them, saying, you will be saved, and you will be executed, to slightly ease their burden. Because if a dream is interpreted, it is like it hangs in the claws of a bird, but after being publicized, it falls down, meaning what I told you will certainly happen. Both left after receiving the interpretation of their dreams, after which Yusuf, peace be upon him, goes to the cupbearer, Naboth. For Yusuf knows that he will be saved and return to his former job, to his lord, because he is not guilty, he even tried to save his lord. So he goes to him, he asks him that when he leaves prison, he [music] should mention that there is a man named Yusuf and that he ended up there, although he is not guilty of anything. Reliance on Allah does not mean that you cannot ask someone for help for yourself. This is precisely part of reliance on Allah. He left prison and returned to serve the king, but completely forgot about Yusuf. They say he spent another 7 years in the dungeon, no one remembers him, although he is not guilty and he is righteous. [music] [music] Many years passed, and Yusuf, peace be upon him, remained forgotten in prison, no one knew about him, but just look at the destiny decreed by Allah. To the king, the king of Egypt, the king to whom the minister obeyed. [music] The king has two different dreams. In the first dream, he saw fat cows grazing in a pasture, after which seven thin cows appeared right next to the fat ones in the pasture, and these thin cows began to eat the fat ones. Then he woke up in fear. What a terrible dream! Seven thin cows devouring seven fat cows. After that, he fell asleep again. He saw seven green ears of corn, and behind them seven dried ears of corn, after which the dried ears of corn began to absorb the green ones. He was again alarmed. In the morning, he summoned his ministers, advisors, oracles, and fortune tellers who possessed knowledge in the field of sorcery and divination. He gathered them all. Perhaps some of them knew something, but they were afraid to give an interpretation. They knew that a catastrophe was coming to Egypt. Some were afraid that the king would punish them for bad news, but most cited that they did not know. They said that such dreams do not carry any meaning and that the king should not take them seriously. These are incoherent dreams that carry no meaning. The king could not find peace. Next to him was his cupbearer. The cupbearer suddenly remembered after many years. There was a man in the dungeon with me who interpreted my dream along with the dream of that very baker, and everything happened exactly as he did. After years, he suddenly remembered. Oh, King, Your Highness, I can give you an interpretation of your dream. How? From where do you know? He replies: I know one man in prison who can interpret this. [laughter] Into the dungeon to find this man. And so, after many years, he enters the dungeon and searches for [music] Yusuf. Only now have I become truthful to you. So many years have passed since you imprisoned me, betrayed me, slandered me. [music] [music] Yusuf immediately answered him: You will diligently sow for 7 years in a row, and they will yield a harvest, and what you will bring. He not only interpreted the dream but also advised what they should do. And what you will reap. [music] Besides, not much of what you will eat. Reduce consumption during these 7 years. Do not be wasteful and do not throw away food. Store grain in granaries without removing it from the ears. After that, seven difficult years of famine will come to Egypt, seven difficult years in which there will be no rain, no water, and the land will become barren. Seven severe, difficult years of famine will come, during which the land of Egypt will become empty. No rain, no water, no fruits. Then seven difficult years will come that will eat what you prepare for them. Everything you have stocked and saved will be consumed during these 7 years that will eat what you prepare for them. Besides, a little of what you save, you will have only a small amount left. And that is the interpretation of the dream. No, I will tell you something else in addition to this. Dreams are divine revelation from the Lord of the worlds. What will happen then? And then, after all this, a year will come, after 14 years, a year will come in which people will be blessed with abundance, and in which they will press grapes, press olives, press sesame. The harvest will increase in Egypt in 14 years. What kind of interpretation is this? This is an interpretation that will save Egypt and its people from destruction. When the king hears this news, what do you think will happen? Will Yusuf agree to leave prison? He will not leave prison until one condition is met. He will set a condition before leaving prison. What will happen to Yusuf when he leaves prison? Where will he go and what will he do? Will Allah grant him authority on earth? All these are important events that happened in the life of the Prophet Yusuf, peace be upon him. [music] King F [music] [music] La [music] igh [music]
