Is it a narrow straw out of fear of scarcity? Or is it a subway tunnel? Expand your capacity to handle flow and the universe will provide it.

You've been taught that being poor is noble, that money corrupts, that the rich are evil and dirty. If deep down you think money is bad, how do you expect to have it? Your own morality will sabotage you. Every time you're about to earn a lot of money, your subconscious will say, "Danger. If I have money, I will be bad." He is sitting in the most beautiful garden today. All around him are peacocks, marble fountains, trees of every known species. In his coffers are tons of gold. In his harem are a thousand women, 700 wives and 300 concubines. He has everything, absolutely everything a human being can desire. He has tasted, possessed, and consumed. And yet he takes the papyrus and writes. He writes the most devastating sentence in universal literature. "Vanity of vanities, all is vanity." Havl Havalim. What happened to him? How is it possible that the man who had the master code, the wisest and richest man, ended his days in a state of existential depression? The answer is simple and terrifying. He forgot the code. He let his shadow win.

Massive success has a toxic side effect. If not handled with radioactive protection suits, it inflates the ego until it explodes. Welcome to chapter 8. Today we are going to talk about the real danger. It is not poverty. Poverty is a simple problem to solve with work and strategy. Wealth is the complex one. The complex problem is wealth. And the more success you have, the more it will grow. If you are a successful and disciplined entrepreneur, your shadow may be a secret desire for chaos and excess. If you do not integrate it, it will strike. We see this every day. The millionaire CEO caught in an absurd sex scandal. The spiritual guru who robs his followers. The perfect athlete who takes drugs. They are not hypocrites. They are people with much light who ignored their shadow. They thought that being kings, they were above psychological law. They were wrong. Solomon believed he could marry 700 foreign women and worship their gods without it affecting his connection to the true God. He told himself, "I am wise. I can handle it. It's just diplomacy." Lie. It was arrogance. Little by little, his heart strayed. The code says you are never too big to fall. Your fall is loud.

The god syndrome. Arrogance. Success is a hallucinogenic drug. It makes you believe that you are the source. You start thinking, "I achieved it. I am a genius. I am special. The rules don't apply to me." You forget that you were helped. You forget Chyros. Luck. Time. You forget your mentors. You forget God or the universe. You become your own idol. This is what happened to Solomon. He started serving God and ended up serving himself. The temple ceased to be the house of Yahweh and became the temple of Solomon. The golden prison, the fear of losing. Solomon writes in Ecclesiastes 5:12, "The sleep of a laboring man is sweet, but the abundance of the rich will not suffer him to sleep." This is the great irony. You fight to have money to be at peace. And when you have much money, you lose your peace. Now you have something to lose. You are a target for the world. Now you fear thieves, scammers, stock market crashes, revolutions, false friends. You become paranoid. You build higher walls. You hire security. You distrust everyone, even your children. The gold which was supposed to be your servant becomes your jailer. You live guarding the treasure. You are a prisoner of your own success. Solomon realized that possessing things carries the burden of maintaining them. "I looked on all the works that my hands had wrought. And behold, all was vanity and vexation of spirit."

What is the solution? To be poor? No, poverty is not the solution. The solution is the steward. You must change your identity. Stop being the owner and be the manager. If you are the owner, loss hurts your soul. If you are the manager, you understand that the goods are not yours. They belong to the kingdom. Your job is to care for them while they are there. If they go, you have lost nothing of yours because you came naked and will leave naked.

Momento Mori, the skull at the banquet. To cure his vanity, Solomon had to look the only absolute truth in the face: death. "One thing befalleth the wise man and the fool; they both die." Legacy versus fame. Vanity seeks fame, "that they talk about me now." The code seeks legacy, "that my work serves when I am gone." Solomon in his vanity sought fame, but in his wisdom he left a legacy. Today no one uses Solomon's coins. His palaces are dust. Not a single stone of his original temple remains. All his gold disappeared from the earth. What remains of him? His words, his code. The immaterial survived the material. What you do for yourself dies with you. What you do for others remains. If you want to be immortal, the ultimate desire of the ego, paradoxically, you have to forget about yourself and serve others. Serve the world to live forever in its memory. Write a book. Teach a child. Create a company that improves lives. Plant a tree. That is the only thing that escapes hevel, the smoke. By investing in the eternal rather than the temporary, you build a monument that time cannot erode and that fire cannot consume. Your legacy is the gold that never loses its luster.
