One of the greatest weapons that God has placed in your hand is not your money. It's not even your network. It's not your influence. It is your mind. Everything God gives you to do, it's going to first go through the gateway of your mind. And a lot of people are walking around with the most powerful tool they possess. And it's literally unattended to.
Renewing the mind is much more practical than many of us actually realize. God needs you to concentrate more in this season. I started a very unusual journey with the Lord about a year ago. It was following one of our conversations in the last season. It was one with our special guest in Leia. And we were talking about what it really means to build a relationship with God. And I discovered something that really surprised me.
For me, many years ago, when I got exposed to this particular scripture, which I'll tell you in a moment, I thought renewing the mind was primarily a spiritual exercise. And I know you know the scripture I'm talking about, Romans 12:2, right? Be not conformed to this world, but be transformed by the what? Renewing of your mind. I thought it was something that happened during prayer or like worship or just encounters with the Lord. You know, something powerful just happened and then my mind is just renewed. Don't judge me. I sincerely thought it was a spiritual thing.
And then the Lord began to show me that renewing the mind is much more practical than many of us actually realize. It's not a feeling. It's not even a moment where something happens. It's not a clickable thing where you just click renewed. It's not that. So unlike what we may think that it's like a one-time download that completes itself and then God will be like completed. No. Renewing the mind is biology. It is re-engineering. And I believe with everything in me that God is giving his people in this hour the grace to become mind engineers.
One of the greatest weapons that God has placed in your hand is not your money. It's not even your network. It's not your influence. It is your mind. Every opportunity that you will recognize, every assignment that God gives you to carry and every solution that you will create for that assignment, every single one will walk first through the gateway of your thinking. Silla, think about it. Everything God gives you to do, everything he calls you out of or he wants you to enjoy, it's going to first go through the gateway of your mind. And a lot of people are walking around with the most powerful tool they possess and it's literally unattended to. They don't attend to their minds. Their minds are constantly distracted, fragmented, exhausted. Hello, I've been there. Literally overstimulated.
If you're a mom, you understand what I'm trying to say. Like one person is dragging on you for something. You're being pulled in 100 directions at once and then they wonder why they struggle to hear God clearly or even deploy and what you deploy does not look like what God told you. The Lord has been teaching me this for a while and I thought, you know what? It's something that we need to understand and really come into this deeper revelation about how God changes the way your brain works. It's not just spiritual growth. This is what we call mind mining, mind engineering. And these terminologies, don't worry, over the course of many episodes, I will go back and forth over them. But revelation actually comes from where your attention goes. And I'll explain it. You actually grow into revelation, you know. And I'm so sorry that people have made you think you have to catch revelation all the time. No. Sometimes you grow into revelation as you give what God gives into your spirit man.
I thought I have seen God miraculously change the way I process the way when he gives me an idea how he takes me through a when I tell you a framework the way I do business has changed the way I think about ideas have changed like I no longer deploy my ideas anyhow I don't go to chajibut and start telling it to give me five ways uh uh uh uh I think and I'm like okay the Lord who has given me this blueprint because everything starts with a blueprint. Oh, and by the way, I just wrote something truly magnificent that I think will help those of you who God has given a vision and you're looking at how to take that vision to an idea and you're just like, "Okay, what next? God has given me this amazing big idea, but how do I move? I got you." Right? So, it's literally um going to be in the link in bio. super practical. You know me, I do not give you stuff that you'll be cracking your head. What does this word mean? Again, I will simplify everything the Lord gives to me to his people. And this is one of such.
Now, back to what I was saying. When God speaks, he rarely drops the finished structure into your laps, into your mind. He rarely does. More often than not, he actually plants the seed. He gives you the idea. He gives you a picture. And I'm sure you guys know what I'm talking about. It could even be a scripture, a burden, or recently for me, it's been numerous questions about a particular age group. And this glimpse of something that has never fully existed. He waits to see what you're going to do with it. I'm telling you this. When God showed me, he's like, I test all of you every single time I give you an idea. When you pray to me about the idea that I give you, it shows me, yes, that you want to cooperate, but it doesn't show me that you know how to participate. He said, "The people I'm giving ideas to in this season, not only would they cooperate with me, they participate by submitting their minds to me so that I can then give them what to do, how to meditate. Will you return to the idea? How do you make room for new ideas in your mind? or will you let social media, anxiety, entertainment, or this constant noise of your everyday life, which by the way, if you're a busy person and God gives you an idea, you're going to have to create room for meditation. I'm telling you, I take time out around 11 to about 3:00 a.m. every day within the period I'm given a new idea. I never allow my brain to say, "Oh, yeah, I caught it." Ah, I don't do that. I sit with that idea. I think through. I pray in the Holy Ghost. I play certain things that get me into a a higher level of not just thinking, but of command. You have to do that. Don't let your mind draw on past references on how you did business to run a future that you've never been in. Error. Somebody say error.
So what happens is the things you repeatedly give your attention to are the things that grow. The principle works whether you are feeding fear or you're feeding your faith. So you've got to ask yourself what are you feeding? The vision God gave you or an insecurity? Trauma or God's truth? Whatever occupies your attention eventually begins to occupy your life. facts. And that's why I love the biblical idea of a sound mind. God has not given you the spirit of what? Fear, but of what? Of love, of power, and what? A sound mind. Now, the original language paints a richer picture than simply being calm. You know, when we hear sound mind, we're like, "Okay, I got it. I got it." Um actually it carries the idea of safe thinking. A protected interior space where your thoughts are not constantly being bombarded or hijacked by fear, insecurity or confusion. You can allow self- condemnation talk you out of the things God is planting in your mind. It carries the idea of safe thinking, a protected interior space where your thoughts are not constantly being hijacked by fear or insecurity or self- condemnation. So many people, it is in that arena of their mind that they actually talk themselves out of the vision God places in their heart. Self- condemnation, self- judgment, past wounds, past failures, or just simply the opinions of other people around them. And God is not simply trying to give you peace. He's trying to create a safe place for greatness to grow within you.
Can you submit your mind to God in this season? God needs your mind in this season because a sterile mind cannot conceive anything great. If your inner world is overcrowded with fear or it's cluttered with anxiety, you have to understand that that vision that God is trying to plant will struggle to take root. It will. Vision requires fertile ground and your mind is that ground. You can't keep asking God for bigger visions, bigger dreams while he's asking you to tend your soil. What is going on in your mind? Why are you struggling so much with your emotions? Why are you being tossed to and fro like the wind? Some of you keep asking God for bigger dreams? You're saying, "Lord, do more. I need more. I ask for fresh revelation." And he's asking you. So why are you letting your mind toss and fro like the sea? He's asking you to protect your attention. You can't ask him for clarity of thought while your mind is carrying voices, disappointments. You keep replaying everything back. And it's because you've not addressed these things. I I I have news for you. A sterile mind cannot conceive anything great. If there's so much going on in your inner world, you're feeling anxious. You're feeling like you're under attack, how do you want anything to grow? How?
The vision God has given to you, not only does it need a fertile ground, guess what else it needs? It needs a place where God can plant something. And that thing, not only will it grow, you give it time, you give it attention, you give it your life. I don't know why so many people think the business God gives them, the family, the project, the ministry just requires a a portion of you. No. In the journey of mind re-engineering, it is first so that you can have a mind that carries the mind of God. Because you cannot re-engineer a sound mind on on top of an unhealed one. But not while you still have so much baggage, trauma, emotional dislocation. That's what actually disengages you from your own life. That undelt with trauma. And the depth of what God speaks determines the weight of what you are now responsible to build. So I'm hoping and I'm praying for you that you will not let the enemy into your mind anyhow. You cannot afford a careless mind. You are distracted by a a a new relationship. You are distracted constantly by the needs you have. Money not being enough. Don't forget the most valuable real estate you own is your mind. And the kingdom was never designed for people that are passive waiting for God to drop a finished project, a finished work on them. We partner with God. We tend to the soil of our mind. We discipline our thinking. What goes in, what goes out. We guard our attention. And that's what I sense that the Lord is asking us to do in this hour. Heal what is broken and create a safe place to think. So yes, the mind has become a battlefield for so many of us instead of a garden. It really has. But I thank God for you today that from today you allow God to tend to your mind. I pray for the person whose attention has been scattered, whose thoughts have been consumed by fear, whose vision is being buried underneath the weight of disappointment, and whose inner world has become exhausted from carrying too much for too long. Begin the healing work. Begin the healing work in them. Holy Spirit, I know you are tired, but let God restore fertile ground so that life can grow again in you in Jesus name. Amen.
