It can be really hurtful when your friends make fun of you. A little mild teasing between friends now and then is pretty normal.
But if they say things that seem mean-spirited or take the teasing too far, try talking to them about it. Say something like, "Hey, it really bothers me when you make comments like that," or "I don't think that's funny. Could you stop?"
Be specific about what kind of teasing bothers you. For example, you might ask them not to make fun of your appearance or say mean things about your grades.
If your friends keep teasing you, take a closer look at your friendship. If they refuse to stop or apologize, or if you notice that they don't respect your boundaries in other ways, it may be time to move on.
