This is the entire Battlefield 6 campaign story explained from beginning to end, and we're doing it all in under 15 minutes.
The game starts in the country of Georgia, which has just left NATO and joined the Pax Armada coalition. However, NATO is stuck trying to evacuate their last base in the region, and in the process, they realize that they need to turn over the base peacefully to Pax Armada at the end of the day. No one's told Pax Armada this though because they start bombing and assaulting the base before NATO is scheduled to turn it over.
Dylan Murphy and his marine squad, who are solely at the base to protect servers, realize that their base is being overrun, and they have to either evacuate the servers or destroy. As they start a high-speed chase across the base, they realize that the servers cannot be saved. There are too many to evacuate in too short a time period. And so, they are forced to try to destroy the servers. Their plan, plant C4 in the servers, detonate it, get the hell out. They plant C4 in all the columns, detonate it, and try to get the hell out on their Xville helicopter. And just as it seems, they're making their escape. Everything is going well. They are shot down by a Pax Armada jet and crash into the ground.
As Dylan Murphy and his squad wakes up, they realize that they are going to be overrun by Pax Armada forces. And this starts a slow firefight in which they're trying to conserve ammo and fight off Pax Armada while waiting for some type of rescue to come. And as time goes on, members of the squad keep dying and dying and dying until it's just Dylan Murphy. When finally, as all hope seems lost, a friendly helicopter shows up, guns down all the packs robotic troops, and gets Dylan Murphy and his dead squad base out of there.
We then jump forward many months to the current day. Dagger 13 are breaking into a woman's house who's revealed to be their CIA handler, Agent Mills, and they are pissed as they begin rehashing the details of their previous missions in Jibralter as it's revealed that Paxar troops are on the way to CIA agent Mills house.
We then jump to The Rock. The Rock of Jibralt under assault by Pax Marta forces who have somewhat taken control of Gibralar as a whole. And Dagger 13 is sent to liberate it. The fresh squad assembled under the command of CI agent Mills has been split into two squads. Gecko and Haz Carter drop in on top of the rock. Their sole job is to take out radar equipment Pax is using to block air support in Jibralter and destroy the radars opens up a path for bombing runs ahead of the main beach assault. And as the last radar is destroyed, it cuts to Dylan Murphy. Cliff Lopez and Dylan Murphy's job is to help the assault on the beach with the rest of the Marines and regroup in the center of town with Carter and Gecko.
In the center of town, Pax Armada has set up an HQ and their ground commander is there. After a vehicular assault and then assaulting and fighting off Pax Armada troops, Dagger 13 finally gets the Pax Armada headquarters to see that their commander is still there. When their commander executes a marine office, Dagger 13 is then forced to assault the headquarters with no backups and just fighting off the Pax Armada forces. As they clear the building room by room and they finally get to the very last room, they realize that the Pax Armada commander, Alexander Qincaid, is no longer there. and they are forced to get a helicopter Xfilled.
We then jump back to the interrogation of Asian Mills and the conversation reveals that Paxa should not have been able to take the rocket jibralar hid their movements and were undetected by surveillance because they had some form of American technology. And that's when Bills chooses to reveal that Pax Armada stole something from NATO at the Georgia base and she sent the team to Cairo a while back to capture a man named Celipe who was selling info to Pax Armada and discover if they were going to use this weapon they had got in Georgia.
We then jump back in time to the mission in Egypt. Dagger 13 was sent to group up with an Egyptian special unit, unit 7, and capture Salem, the CIA informant, who was selling a PAX Armada. After grouping up with unit 777, they infill under the streets into the sewers. And as they sneak their way to the building where Salem is being held, Has Carter reveals that he personally knew Alexander Kinc Kaid. They were former team members who worked together back during the war of 2014. And during this mission, something happened to Alexander Kincaid's troops. And as he went back to go find them, has Carter couldn't wait any longer and left AlexanderQade and his team behind.
The team then rolls up to the building where Celeb is being held. And after cutting the power and fighting their way inside the building sneakily and stealthily, the power gets kicked back on as they discover where Sealem is being held. And as they breach the door and fire bullets inside, they accidentally shoot and hit Sem in the process. As they're talking to him about the intel he has that Agent Mills sent them, he reveals that Agent Mills was supposed to help him. She was the person who had gave him this intel in the first place, that there was something going on. As the team grabs his thumb drive, they realize that they also need his thumb to unlock the biometric sensor. So they cut off his thumb and then begin methodically working their way through the streets of Cairo trying to get their Xville point. However, the citizens of Cairo have a different idea. They are trying to get Paxada out of Egypt. They don't like them being there and they don't believe that Paxada is under the best intentions which escalates the situation as the city turns into a massive firefight. And as the team is fighting their way out, Cliff Lopez is shot in the chest by a sniper. Luckily hit his armor plate, but he got the wind knocked out of him and had to be helped through the rest of the mission. And finally, Dagger 13 regroups with the Egyptian squad and gets the hell out of Egypt.
We then cut back to the interrogation of Mills, but this time she confirms that the intel they got from Sem gave the United States intel on a Paxa cell in Brooklyn, New York. But she didn't say how they got there undetected. And as Lopez searches her safe, Murphy brings up the base in Georgia that got attacked by Paxer. It was a cyber security installation for Project Velis, a new technology that allowed troops to hide their movements from all satellites and technologies. But Mills takes the opportunity to poke Murphy in his open womb, asking where this confidence was in Brooklyn.
We then cut to Brooklyn. Dagger 13 is infiltrating into Brooklyn to find and stop a Pax Armada cell from committing a terrorist attack. However, President of the United States Fernandez decides to taunt Pax Armada by holding a NATO conference in Brooklyn while Pax Armada is there and bring in a Navy ship called the Artemis into the river nearby. As a show of force, Pax Armada has set up a HQ and Dagger 13 assaults the HQ. They fight their way through and after clearing the HQ, they begin searching through what intel remains and Murphy discovers Pax Armada has a bowl on the Artemis and is going to use the ship's missiles to take out the power systems, the bridges, and the subways to New York City and then destroy Midtown entirely when everyone is unable to escape.
As Carter then picks up a tablet seemingly ringing with a phone call. And as he answers it, he realizes that Alexander Kaid is on the other line. As Alexander Kaid blames Carter for being left behind and as Concaid ends the call, Pax Armada ambushes Dagger 13 in the HQ. And as they fight their way down out of the headquarters, they realize that there's something going on. And they check under a bed to realize there is an underground tunnel dug straight into the subway. And as they get into the subway, they see Paxer has armored a subway train and has transmitting devices on top of it. Their goal is to get the train close enough to the Artemis to transmit the codes to launch all the missiles and destroy Brooklyn.
Dagger 13 steals a Paxa vehicle and then begins chasing down the train in the subway until eventually they are crashed into the wall by Pax's military troops. They then have to fight their way to the surface and get to a Little Bird helicopter and try to find a way to stop the subway train. But they realize the only place and the only opportunity to stop the train is to destroy the bridge as the train is passing through it. As Dagger 13 calls in a missile strike on their own bridge as the train crashes in a massive fireball explosion.
However, Haz Carter and Dylan Murphy still have to go through the wreckage to find out if the transmitter survived because if they did, that is a massive problem. As Dylan Murphy and Haz Carter fight their way through the bridge, they get separated by crashing debris, and Haz Carter is forced to go on by himself. And as he discovers the transmitters, he tries everything before eventually destroying them just as missiles start to launch on the Artemis. As he's looking for his Xfill helicopter, one of the missiles aimed at the bridge hits the helicopter, crashes into the bridge, and throws Haz Carter into the water underneath the bridge. He actually drowns and then gets resuscitated, but still is unconscious.
As he finally regains consciousness, he notices Dagger 13 is all around him. They reveal that they were able to stop most of the missiles from hitting Brooklyn, New York. However, they realize the next probable target for PAX Armada is to actually take out the president of the United States while he's in Brooklyn. and no one has heard from the president since the missile started going off.
A few hours later, the next stop is to go save the president from his safe house in Brooklyn as PAX Armada is unleashing a full-on assault in the city of Brooklyn. Killing the president would weaken NATO. So, Dagger 13 is speeding through Brooklyn on the way to the president when they pull up on his motorcade, destroyed and on fire. But they hear gunshots nearby and head straight to the source of the gunshots where they find Pax Armada and the president's security detail in a firefight. As Dagger 13 clears the streets, they discover that the president is held up in a nearby firehouse.
As they get to meet the president, he reveals that he cannot liberate Brooklyn until he is out. Otherwise, his joy chiefs won't make a decision on what to do. They have to secure and evacuate the president. First things first, they head up to the roof. They try to get a helicopter to pick up the president, but it's shot down by drones. They are then forced to figure out a way to safely transport the president by ground while also preventing a drone swarm from attacking him. This is when Gecko points out there's a nearby facility where the drone operators for all of these drones are probably held up. Murphy and Gecko are then sent to hunt down the drone operators and destroy their base of operations, collapsing a bridge on it, freeing up a way to evacuate the president.
The team hauls ass through the streets of New York and one car has Carter and the president in a security detail heading to a forward operating base to try to get the president Xville. In the second car, the rest of Dagger 13, when suddenly the ground in front of the second car explodes and throws Dagger 13 underground into the subway system. They wake up and have to fight their way through the subway system and get back up onto the surface and then fight their way to the forward operating base. And once they get there, they realize the president has still not been evacuated and they have to defend the forward operating base from PAX or model.
President's evac finally arrives. Two small boats. And as it arrives, Kinc Kaid actually shows up in person and shoots and destroys the president's first evac boat, forcing the team to put the president on the second Xville boat as Haz and Murphy hunt down Kade mere meters away. They then split up to find Concaid when he ambushes and starts beating Murphy. Carter shows up to save him, but it quickly flips when a secondary pack of soldier shows up, ambushes Has, and Kinc Kaid and Haz begin fighting. This is when Kid Cade stabs Carter in the chest and in the shoulder before leaving him and Murphy behind, telling Murphy he's not worth much in the eyes of the CIA and to learn his place in the world. As Murphy talks to Haz Carter in his dying breaths, he appoints Murphy the head of Dagger 13 and tells him to not let it weigh him down.
We cut back to Agent Mills house where Pax Armada soldiers are showing up to either kill or extract CIA agent Mills, but Dagger 13 is waiting and Murphy continues to interrogate Mills. Haz and Concincaid were her assets. She either knew Conincaid defected to Pax and did nothing or she told him to defect to Pactada. Just as Paxata arrives, we cut back to Egypt where the Egyptian special forces team 777 from earlier in the campaign is using their armor columns to push back Paxata out of Egypt and rescue a downed helicopter pilot. To be honest, this mission has almost zero narrative effect on the story. So, we're moving on to the next part.
We cut back to Dagger 13, awaiting for Pax Armada to get closer to Mills house before they ambush them and kill them all. While Dagger 13 is ambushing Pax Armada's troops, Agent Mills decides to run downstairs and to cut off her restraints with a kitchen knife just as they finish off killing all the Pax Armada troops.
We then cut to just recently in Chajikstan. I can't say that word right. I'm from Texas where Dagger 13 is leading an assault on Paxar's anti-air imp placements in order to open up a path for a full assault on Paxarada's headquarters. Stagger 13 now with their eyes in the sky. Hemlock stepping in to fill Haz's spot began fighting through Paxar troops and destroying their AA placements on the way to a massive dam. As they get to the road leading to the dam, Paxa sends reinforcements to stop Dagger 13, but Dagger just uses mortars to destroy the convoy and then fight to the dam where Pax Armada's anti-air system is being run from. Their idea is to destroy the dam and in the process flood the AA systems, paving a path for the US salt on Pax Armada's headquarters into Jigstate.
We then cut back to Mills opening a secret safe as Dagger 13 slowly surrounds her. As she reaches for a gun inside the safe, she gets knocked out by Gecko and Murphy looks inside the safe to discover documents on Project Vevelis. She tries to say that it wasn't her fault, but Murphy blames her for what happened at Chigastan when an entire mountain got destroyed.
We then cut back to Jigstan where Dagger 13 is joining the main assault on PAX HQ just moments after they destroy the dam and was revealed over the radio that Pax Armada has four hypersonic NX warheads and they plan on using them on mainland Europe. In 30 minutes, those missiles will be launching. As Dagger 13 fights their way into Pax's base, they start destroying hangers and vehicles before fighting their way up to the four missile silos. They decide to split the silos up. Dagger 13 will take two silos and another marine team will take the other two silos in order to deactivate all the ICBMs.
As Dagger 13 is racing to the two missile silos, a plane starts doing strafing runs on their position, but Dagger 13 picks up some stingers and shoot it down. As Dagger 13 gets their first warhead, they deactivate it just as the other marine team shuts down theirs. The two teams then race the last two missiles. Hemlock is able to destroy the missile's internal components and stop it from launching. But the other Marine team is not able to stop the missile before it can leave the ground. And so they detonate it, killing the entire Marine team in a massive explosion. And at this point, there's only one thing left to do. Find Kade.
Dagger 13 makes a mad dash for the control room where Kaid is held up. And as they fight their way through the building, they burst the doors into Concaid's room and kill his two guards, shooting him in the leg so he can't escape. And as they prepare to arrest him, he reveals that he was agent Mills CIA asset. And Pax Armada was created by the CIA to be a villain that NATO could fight against. When Mills cuts in on the radio telling Dagger 13 to just kill him, he says he stopped listening to the CIA like Murphy should do right now and use logic. As he notices Hemlock the room, he reaches for his pistol before Hemlock guns him down and confirms to Mills that he is dead. The second they confirm his death, NATO starts bombing the base with them still inside. They rush out and are able to get to a helicopter to escape, and they realize their comms have been cut off entirely. The entire base is leveled by bombs and missiles as they slowly leave.
We then cut back to Dagger 13, hauling Pax Armada's bodies into agent Mills house and talking to Mills when she reveals she was not working alone. This was a sanctioned job by the CIA, the US government, private military backers, and a handful of other people. Everyone was all in on this before it got out of control. Agent Mill starts begging to be let free so she can go try to bring Pax back under control, but Dagger 13 is split between two options, arresting her or killing her. Murphy kicks everyone out of the building except for himself and Mills. And as sheeps trying to negotiate with him, he tells her there's nothing left to say and then shoots her.
