What joy fills the house when we are conscious of his grace. Thank you for being with us. Can you remain standing with me for a moment?
You know, once a year we come together as a church locally and globally to sacrificially and generously sew into accelerating the vision of what God is doing through Kingdom City. So, can you help me today welcome everyone in your auditorium right now and also everyone in every other auditorium around the world. Go ahead and give them a big hand. And since we're standing, we're going to pray together.
Heavenly Father, I thank you that today people of every color, every age, every tribe, every tongue, we stand in awe of you under the only name that unites us. And the name of Jesus is the one we lift high today. Father, we thank you for everyone around Australia, everyone around New Zealand, every believer in Malaysia right now, all across Singapore, right across Africa, Southeast Asia, everywhere your word is heard in the Middle East, in Europe, in North and South America. I thank you, God, online and in every location. Nobody today misses out on the grace that is available as we gather around your word on this sober holy way as we bring an offering of consequence for the expansion and the extension of your kingdom and for the glory of your name. So, Holy Spirit, reside with weight over every heart that is responsive today. And I thank you for what you're about to do and what you're about to multiply through what we're about to do in Jesus name. Amen. Can you say amen? Amen. Amen. Go ahead and take your seats.
[Music] Every gift that is given today, one out of every $2 helps make disciples globally through church planting and investing into the infrastructure that extends the reach of the gospel all over the world. And the other dollar stays in your city locally, which helps establish generations, extend territory in your location, and strengthen what God is doing in your city. and a 10% a tithe of all that is received locally and globally we use to partner with over 80 organizations and build a missional fund that is there for crisis for care and for community. And there are so many wonderful people making a difference in our world and we get to partner with them and we get to help them in ways that go way beyond my ability or your ability alone. To think that we bring one offering and it can have a multiplied layered impact doesn't just save me the time of investigating every organization, but it saves me from having to work out how I should fund this or fund different cities or how I need to engage in mission. Which is why it is so powerful today, no matter your currency, no matter your culture, no matter your color, it's so powerful today to be a part of something bigger than yourself. Can I hear an amen?
So before we give, I want to encourage everyone with scripture because the Bible doesn't just tell us to give. It teaches us how to give the heart with which we should bring today's offering. So here we go. Number one, give prayerfully and principally. Give prayerfully and principally. Philippians 4 says, "In everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God, and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ." In everything, in everything, which means, including your giving, make your requests known to God. In your giving, submitted to the Lord. You know, Proverbs 3:5-10 says, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways, in everything, acknowledge him, talk to him, speak to him, and he, God, will direct your path. Says, "Do not be wise in your own eyes. Fear the Lord and depart from evil. It'll be health to your flesh and strength to your bones." It is important to pray about everything in your life, including your offering, including your giving. The scripture goes on in Proverbs to say, "Honor the Lord with your possessions and with the first fruits of all your increase, so your barns will be filled with plenty and your vats will overflow with new wine." It is important we don't just live prayerfully, but we also balance that by living principally. See, living out of principle is one of the most consistent ways to see victory in your life on a regular basis. God's word is full of principles. kingdom principles that don't require feelings or circumstances to trigger them. We live in a world that lives by feelings, but the scripture encourages us to live principally and out of sheer principle. We forgive on principle, not because we feel like it. We honor on principle, not because we feel like it. We tithe on principle, not because we feel like it. We give on principle. But here's the thing, it's not a formula. That's why we give prayerfully and principally. In all your ways acknowledge God in everything by prayer and supplication. And if God speaks to you clearly, whatever he says, obey. But in the absence, sometimes we don't always hear his voice clearly. If I'm vulnerable and honest with you right now, out of our 15, 16 miracle offerings, Jamime and I have prayed over every one of them in terms of what the Lord wanted us to do. But I'd say I've probably only heard specifically maybe five times something really uniquely specifically. And this year is one of them. But what about the other 10 miracle offerings? What did we do? Well, the Lord, you didn't speak. We tried to give prayerfully, but you didn't speak. You know what you do when you don't hear prayerfully? You live out of principle. Give principally. And that's first fruits. We honor the Lord with our possessions. So today, make sure you're giving prayerfully and make sure you're giving principally.
Number two, give thoughtfully and expectantly. Scripture says, "Let each one consider in his heart." 2 Corinthians 9:7. The amplified version actually says, "Let each one give thoughtfully and with purpose just as he has decided in his heart." I love the intention of the people in our church because today is not just a donation on the day. Many have quantified their giving thoughtfully. Someone say thoughtfully. We've given thoughtfully. Some are giving one week's wages, a month's wages. Some are giving significantly more in terms of what they're manage managing to give, but they've put thought into it. We give thoughtfully. Don't just give thought to what you sow. However, give thought to what you reap. See, to give thoughtfully and to give expectantly is exactly how the scripture teaches us to give. You know, we we don't give to get, but we do sow to reap. Scripture says 2 Corinthians 9:6, remember this, whoever sws sparingly also reaps sparingly. Whoever sws generously will also reap generously. And while our motive in giving today, in bringing this offering miraculously all around the world is it's never self-seeking. It is however God's nature to reward. Hebrews 11 says that God is a rewarder. Scripture says, "Give and it'll be given back to you. good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over. Why? Because God is a rewarder. So today, give thoughtfully. But can I encourage you? Give expectantly. It's not you being harsh or selfish to just take God at his word. Say, "Father, I thank you. I want to put some thought into this offering and I thank you that I'm bringing expectancy with it."
So number one, give prayerfully and principally. Number two, give thoughtfully and expectantly. Number three, give sacrificially and generously. Give sacrificially and generously. There's a story in the Old Testament about David and the verse that is quoted quite often is folklore because it gives insight into David's heart. He basically said, "I'm not going to give God something that cost me nothing." He said to another king, "I will not sacrifice to the Lord my God burnt offerings that cost me nothing." You know, if you give sacrificially, you have just given generously. The Bible talks about the widow's two mites that she gave more. She didn't literally give more. She gave more in terms of a generosity. Why? Because she gave in a way that was sacrificial. Sacrifice and generosity are connected. They're linked. Generosity is not measured by amount. It's measured by sacrifice. The woman with a bottle of perfume that was worth a year's wages. Wow, that's a serious bottle of perfume. She poured it all out. That was both sacrificial in nature, but because it was sacrificial, it was therefore generous. Today, don't look at your neighbor, don't look at another city, don't look at another country and say, "Well, we can't do much." No. If it's if you have given sacrificially, the scripture says you have given generously. So today, let's be both sacrificial and by definition, we will be generous. The holiness and the weight of this offering today is measured by the sacrifice of all the wonderful people around the world who are about to be part of this moment.
And number four, finally, give cheerfully and eternally. So let's revise. Number one, give prayerfully and principally. Give thoughtfully and expectantly. Give sacrificially and generously. And number four, give cheerfully and eternally. Scriptur is clear again. For God loves a person who gives cheerfully. God will generously provide all you need. Then you will have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others. You know, when the scripture says God loves a cheerful giver, if I'm really honest, it's a bit hard. I mean, God, aren't you just proud of me that I'm giving something? Because if I'm giving sacrifice, if I'm giving with a generous heart cheerfully, isn't that a bit much to ask? But here's the thing. I don't know anybody who likes losing money. But today, we're not losing anything. We are investing. We are sowing. And we are giving. And not only are we investing, that's why there's no reason to be miserable about this. We can bring with joy even the weight of sacrifice and even the scale of what people have sacrificed to bring a generous offering today. Today we are investing it where nobody can steal it. Matthew 6:19 you know the words of Jesus. Do not lay up for yourself treasures on earth where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal. And this is what he goes on to say. Lay up for yourself treasures in heaven. See, when we're giving today, we're giving eternally. So, because I'm giving eternally, I'm giving cheerfully. I'm giving treasures in heaven. Where neither moth nor rust destroys, where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be. Also the reason for my joy, the reason for our cheer, the reason for the atmosphere you feel in the room right now where you are is because people are building treasure in eternity together. We are doing this historically. We're doing this right now for what God is about to do in the seasons ahead.
So, can I invite you before your local pastor gets up and before we all get into this moment of giving sacrificially, I want to invite you to stand to your feet in every auditorium all around the world, wherever you are, we're about to give into this offering, but I want to pray with us first. Everybody in Sri Lanka, we're believing with you. Everybody in Botswana, we're believing with you. Everyone in Mexico, we're standing with you. Everyone in Dubai, today's a historic day. God's got great plans in store for you. Everybody in Hong Kong and Indonesia, in New Zealand, the best is yet to come. Right around Australia and Malaysia, where our church is strong, I want to tell you, it's still just the beginning of what the Lord is about to do. So, come on, stand with me in every auditorium in London, in Europe. God's about to break open. New things are about to happen. Today, let me tell you what today's about. Today is a miracle offering. It's a miracle offering. It's an offering that releases miracles in every life. Everywhere this offering reaches, miracles are going to be released. And that's what we're going to pray. And not only miracles in the lives of the people, but miracles in the life of the giver. We don't give to get, but God is a kind God. We are going to see an outbreak of miracles. We don't pay for miracles. We don't bribe God with miracles, but God is a rewarder. So this offering is miraculous in nature. We are going to bless so many people and I believe God is going to bless you and we're going to pray that. But it's not just a miracle offering. It's a momentum offering. What does that mean? Well, what the Lord has done since humble beginnings 19 years ago is incredible. But what today's offering is going to do. It's going to accelerate the momentum at a whole another level. Can I take a moment to tell you what the Lord is doing in Africa in our church is remarkable. And we want to build a great new hub for that continent in Habaroni in Botswana. Our church there is on fire. But to have a great place we can call our own to train pastors to reach thousands more people and bring the reality of God to our world in Africa. Wow. It's a miracle offering. It's a momentum offering. It's a mission offering. Can I say this? Everything we give to is mission. Not just the organizations we partner with. Everything we give to is mission. It's all missional. The gospel transforms lives. And the most effective way to make disciples today is still to plant churches. Jesus said, "I will build my church." He hasn't changed his mind. And we would do so well to invest into what Jesus is building. You know, earlier this year, we announced that we're starting Kingdom City in the United States, in Brazil, in the Democratic Republic of Congo, in Tanzania. So, we covered North and South America. Seeds are starting there, and we talked about more in Africa. But also today, I'm so excited to announce that we're going to be launching in two new countries in Europe. In Europe. So, everybody in Europe, get ready to make some noise. But everyone else around the world, we celebrated with Africa. We celebrated with North and South America. We've celebrated for years in Asia and Australia and New Zealand. So, let's make some noise and celebrate as we get ready to birth Kingdom City, Spain, and Kingdom City in Belgium.
[Music] [Applause] [Music] two more great nations to add to what the Lord is doing. There's so much to celebrate. I want to tell you there's so much to celebrate in your nation. There's so much to celebrate where we are right here, right now. And we're about to do that. But before we pray, before we give, sorry, before your pastor comes up, I want to declare the prayer of JZ over you. So come on, if you're ready to receive a blessing, why don't you lift your hands towards heaven right now? I want to pray this over everyone who's about to be a part of this historic moment. Father, I thank you that you would bless everyone who gives today. And Lord, enlarge their territory. Enlarge their influence. Enlarge their anointing. Father, let your hand be with each of them. Keep them from harm that they would not cause pain. Father, you did it for JZ. You can do it for us. You did it way back then. You can do it today. Father, we declare right now in every auditorium where hands are raised, Lord, we would see the cloud the size of a man's hand. There would be the fragrance of revival. There'd be the sound of something about to happen. And we want to declare that every person would experience the goodness of God. That Lord, as we give prayerfully and principally, sacrificially and generously, thoughtfully and expectantly, Lord, we give cheerfully and eternally. We want to declare that heaven would be open, Lord, that you would pour out a blessing in this holy moment. We declare the blessing of God on our cities. We declare Europe shall be saved, Africa shall be saved, Asia shall be saved, North and South America will be saved, Australia, New Zealand as the waters cover the sea. So let your glory cover the earth in Jesus name we pray. Amen. Come on. Go ahead and declare heavy rain. [Music] Prophesy over your city. prophesy over your family over your nation. I can hear the [Music] rain. Heat. Heat. our way. Thank you, Jesus. Come on. Shout it to God with a voice of triumph. We want to bring an offering one of you today. Hallelujah. [Music] Every single night we join our house. See it again from the front to the back. All the [Applause] people Heat. Heat. Yeah. Heat. before the honor and the glory is Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. Come on, go here and give an offering of praise before your offering of finance. Give an offering of worship unto you Jesus forever and ever. Forever praise. [Music] [Music] [Music]
