Kathy Griffin's Unhinged Rant: Nazi Germany With a Ring Light?

Rodney Hood Talks4:42

Transcription

Those of you that are awake, let's see what's going on. What do you think the solution is? I think the murder of Renee Good, the murder of Alex Prey, putting children on planes and taking them to detention centers, which are really concentration camps. Call it what it is. They're concentration camps in the United States of America in 2026.

Okay, Kathy, you want to know what the solution is? Get your facts straight before you start slinging all over the internet. And no, Kathy, these people weren't murdered. Charlie Kirk was murdered. But these two agitators in Minneapolis that stuck their nose where it didn't belong and got themselves unalived in a chaotic situation. Look, that's just bad timing, bad choices, and people inserting themselves in situations that's way above their pay grade. Saying children are being taken to concentration camps in the US, come on Kathy, that's not reality. That's dramatic hyperbole with zero grounding. And stop with the concentration camps already. That means gas chambers and mass graves, not detention centers with three hots in a cot. You see, Kathy, words matter. Unless you're trying to manipulate people.

I don't either. I wish I could just go on the road and do my funny stories about celebrities or or making fun of politicians, but not even have to acknowledge this, but it is happening all around you. It's happening around you. I live in Los Angeles. It's happening at targeted places in Los Angeles and I think it's time to talk to the neighbors in real life. It's time to talk to your neighbors. Find out if they're MAGA or not. Sorry, but we have to know who's on our team.

And start to plan. Is there a way we can do something as a community?

All right, Kathy. So, now we've went from concentration camps to checking your neighbors voting history. That's fantastic, Kathy, because nothing screams progression like 1940s Nazi Germany with a ring light. She's all like, "We have to know who's on our team." Why, Kathy? What's the plan, Kathy? Are you and Mark Ruffalo going to have a love child and storm the culde-sac? We have to start a plan. A plan for what? A potluck, a militia? Anytime someone says, "We need to identify them first." That sentence has never ended well, ever. And let's talk about this community organizing, shall we? Kathy, that's not activism. That's a lowbudget militia with matching yoga mats. And my favorite part, I absolutely love this. Where was all this outrage when Obama deported over 3.1 million people? Oh, I get it. Back then it was complex. Now it's turn in your neighbors and start a plan. It's amazing how your morality updates with the algorithm. I don't remember anybody ringing my doorbell and asking me if I was on team hope and change. But what she's describing is being a snitch with merchandise. That's not unity. That's paranoia. Kathy, this isn't resistance, my dear.

When I hear from my followers in Minnesota, they describe a very sophisticated channel of a system of things that they do to help one another. And they use encrypted apps. And like I said, everyone has whistles and honks their horn, but they organize in small groups. And they have told me that they learned this from the George Floyd incident because George Floyd was murdered 20 blocks away from these other murders roughly. And so they said they learned a lot from that experience. So I'm just telling you guys, live your life, but be conscious of this. And if you're silent, you're complicit. Sorry, I know I'm being a judgy. This is what happens when narcissism, fear, and social media all move in together and stop paying rent. And if your big revolutionary strategy is find out who your neighbors voted for and make a plan, congratulations. You didn't stop history. You just failed at the openbook test. She's basically describing her followers like this Call of Duty neighborhood edition. And then she has to throw in the classic, "We learned all this from the George Floyd incident." Yeah, I bet you did. Learn what exactly, Kathy? How to burn your own city to the ground with zero consequences and get a Netflix special out of it. If your big contribution to democracy is honking your horn like you're calling cows to dinner, that's adorable, but it's not a revolution. And listen, all those whistles and you blowing your horns. You know what that does? It gives everybody a freaking migraine. All it does is remind us how incredibly annoying you all truly are. Well, there you have it. She is a judgy.
