Churches can still be corrupt even in the first century. I mean, look at the seven letters in Revelation.

Only two out of the seven churches were like doing good. Like he was rebuking five out of the seven churches in the first [music] century. Just cuz it's old, just cuz it's first does not mean they're correct.
Even Paul writes, "Beware because [music] right after this, there will become false preachers." He was prophesying that this would happen [music] right after my visit.
Even in the first century, we see so many examples even in scripture of straight lying in the church, straight, you know, heresies in the church. Straight like Satan's trying his best to corrupt the original church like immediately.
