For Mity, the total length measured was 10 and 3/4 inches, resulting in an accurate foot length of 9 and 3/4 inches after subtracting the initial inch. The video also shows how to measure the width of the foot. Mity steps sideways onto the tape measure, and the width is measured. The measured width was 5 and 3/4 inches, which is then adjusted by subtracting 1 and 3/4 inches to get the actual foot width of 3 and 3/4 inches. The presenter explains that this information (length and width in inches) can be sent to the store to help determine the correct shoe size.

So it's actually 9 and 3/4 cuz we're going to subtract that first one, which makes it easier for us. So 9 and 3/4.

And then for the width, step up, Mity. Just going to take it and step to the side. And this measurement is going to be to about five and or 4 and 3/4, which is actually three cuz we're going to take a on 3 and 3/4 in there. So 3 and 3/4 in in width, 9 and 9 and 3/4 in in length.
