[Music] Hello everyone. Today I am going to offer you a format that is a little bit particular because for those who follow me, I am not used to showing myself on camera. But I think that sometimes it can be a good idea to try. Uh, I am not used to it. I will be very frank. I am not at all used to speaking in front of a camera. Yet, I am a teacher and I speak to an audience regularly, whether it be children or adults. But I think that the camera changes the dimension a little bit. In any case, uh, what I would like to say today is that I will try to offer different formats. That's what I've been doing since the beginning of this channel's creation, which is now a little over 3 months old. I have done a lot of experimenting because I want to see what works, of course, see if there are things I can improve, and then I want to learn different techniques, different approaches. Uh, I think it's difficult to find a good compromise between what we will offer the audience, that is to say you, things that bring you something, since your goal is to progress in learning French. But precisely, the balance is also made at the level of the creation part. What do I want to offer? How will I propose these materials? And then, will I also take pleasure in creating these materials? That's why this channel will not be dedicated to learning French in its strict form, with grammar, conjugation. I do not wish to offer this kind of course. I wish to offer listening materials primarily, so that you can progress in oral comprehension of French. So, the formats can be very varied. It's true that I think it's easier to show oneself to the audience because for you, it's a point of reference. You can recognize the person who is speaking to you, and it's much more pleasant, I think. But it requires an effort from me, an effort that I am not used to making, as I said. But I am ready to make this effort. I will at least try for some time, and I have precisely planned to go somewhere today. So I will show you what I am going to do, and uh, we will see if this format suits me. I think you can guess that one can sometimes spend a lot of time creating videos, and today I would like to offer a much simpler format, an unedited format, a raw format, one can call it that. Raw, more natural, therefore. So that's the advantage, and it will also be an opportunity for me to save a lot of time. And I will see if it's worth it, if it's presentable. I don't know yet if the video I'm going to make will be presentable. But if it's not the case, I can make others in the future. It's not a problem. That's the advantage of YouTube, it's that with each video, it's a bit like we have a new chance, in fact. A new chance to offer something, a chance to see the results of this production, and then also to see what is wrong. So I think there are only benefits. And that's it. So I think it's a good idea for me to launch myself. Finally, I have done a lot, a lot of recordings before this one, and each time I decided not to propose them on the channel because there is really this, this barrier. It's a barrier for me, I admit. But at the same time, I think it's important to push one's limits sometimes. And then I tell myself that it's not the end of the world to film oneself from time to time. So, that was a little bit of what I wanted to say today. It's true that I am speaking a little more naturally in this video because my videos are often offered in slow French. Is it too slow? I asked myself the question. Am I speaking too slowly? So, I imagine it's difficult to offer something ideal for everyone. There are people who need to listen to things very slowly, others who prefer a slightly more natural language. So I am trying to find the balance. One can also speak naturally, but by choosing simpler vocabulary. So, I am still trying to adjust all of this because it also takes time. And then, I am making a little effort to have a different vocal rhythm from my usual rhythm. Even if I work with children, and often with children, we have a slower pace, which is normal. But in any case, I wanted to share these thoughts with you, and I say goodbye very soon. Goodbye. [Music]
