I'm so grateful that we have people desiring to be baptized in the precious name of Jesus Christ. And if you're in this building, it matters how you're baptized. All power in heaven and earth is given to His name. So if you've never been baptized in the precious name of Jesus, then don't leave this house until you've been baptized in the precious name of Jesus Christ. Hallelujah. I'm so very, very grateful. Uh, and so we're going to be filling that baptistry. We're going to be having a baptism at the end of service. Thank you to every guest that is here. To every guest that's in the house of the Lord. We want you to know, we want you to know how thankful that we are to have you in God's house today. Believing for great things in the Holy Ghost. And I want Pine Grove to be a Pine Grove Pentecostal Church to be a church where every individual recognizes, recognizes and can express themselves in the area that God wants to use them. And I want this church to create a platform for that. I want this church to create a platform for that. That's one of the reasons why we do youth service the way we do youth service. And thank God in a, uh, I guess it's next Sunday that'll be started back. And our young people will be right back over in the youth chapel singing, preaching, worshiping, praising the Lord together. Also on Wednesday nights, we'll be having prayer meeting right here again. And something that I've been missing. And that's our young ministers, or our starting ministers in the church, or whatever you want to call them, lay ministers in the church, teaching on Wednesday nights. I'm telling you, I have missed that. There have been Wednesday nights where I, as the pastor, gleaned so much from the lay ministers in this church teaching during prayer meetings. So we're looking forward to that full schedule on starting August the 1st. Aren't you excited about that? I'm thankful for God's hand of protection on this church during this time. God has been so good to Pine Grove Pentecostal Church during this time period. He has protected us. He has kept us. And I have full faith that He's going to continue to do that. Aren't you grateful? Aren't you grateful that the Buntons are here with us this weekend? [Applause] I am. I am so grateful for the, uh, ministers that have went out of this church, not just to start churches, start daughter works, but also to evangelize. And our evangelists, right through this COVID epidemic, have stayed very, very busy. And it's because of the chemistry from Pine Grove Pentecostal Church that they're bringing into these other churches. Their chemistry and the spirit and the word is recognized as very, very needed and very, very useful in churches. And we're grateful for that. Don't ever lose that. That shouldn't make us puff up in pride. It ought to make us say, God, we're going to stay on our knees. We're going to stay prayerful. You keep what we have here. Don't ever let Pine Grove Pentecostal Church lose what it's had. It's what it's, it's what keeps our young people. It's what keeps our youth on fire. It's what holds marriages together. Why don't you give the Lord a good hand clap of praise that you're a part, a part of such a great, great church? That don't make us proud. That ought to make us very, very humble and very, very grateful for the goodness of God. God, we don't ever want to lose what You've given us at this great church. We call Him Emmanuel, which is being interpreted as God with us. And so every single name that God ever called Himself is wrapped in the name Jesus. So when I speak the name Jesus, if I needed something to be provided to me, when I speak the name Jesus, it can be provided. When I speak the name Jesus, and I need a counsel, He is my counselor. When I said, when I needed a father, because maybe I didn't have a father in my life, when I speak the name Jesus, I have a father. [Music] Jesus is all that you need. It's kind of a has-been 80s, 90s deal. We don't have a choir because it's cool. We have a choir because there's all kind of people in this church that they're, they're not going to get up here and sing a solo. They're not going to teach a Sunday school class. But they need some way of an outlet of feeling like they're involved and they're a part of what's going on at their church. And a choir provides that. So we want you in the choir. And nobody don't fit in the choir. If you're monotone, you can't sing, we'll just put you in a corner somewhere away from a microphone, let you scream your lungs out. But everybody ought to be able to be a part and find a place where they can fit at their church. Hallelujah. I'm ready for the choir to come back because it gives people that don't have an outlet anywhere else, that gives them a place to be a part of what's going on. God, I know that when I give, You give it back, shake, press down, shaken together, and running over. Your commandment, Lord, was, bring all the tithes and offerings to the storehouse, where there would be meat in Your house, and that You would open up the windows of heaven and pour out blessings that was beyond what we are able to receive. God, we've proven that. We've proven that it works. So as this great host of believers, God, bring their tithes and offerings to the storehouse, I'm asking You to open up the windows of heaven and bless them abundantly in Jesus' name. What I woke up this morning, on my mind was, through the fire, He'll see you through. I don't know who you are today, but you may be going through some things in your life. You may be facing some situations that don't look like the natural eye can ever comprehend how you're going to get through it. But let me remind somebody under the sound of my voice this morning, that if you'll fall on your face before God, and you will seek Him, He will find you, and He will answer your prayers according to His will. I come today to let you know that no matter what you're going through, no matter what situation you may be in, that my God is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that you can ask or think, according to the power that worketh in you. It's great to be in the house of the Lord today. And I challenge you, whatever you need, don't leave this place today without being fulfilled in your life. God bless you. Hallelujah. What a privilege and honor it is to have Brother Bunton with us. And I'm thrilled. Well, I didn't want to do that. Make all that racket. Um, I'm glad to have the Buntons with us. Honored that they're here. Glad that they're in the house of the Lord. He's been evangelizing and God has been using him. God's been using him greatly. Everywhere he's went, there's been an anointing of the Holy Ghost. People have received the Holy Ghost. People's lives have been changed. And I am so thrilled that they've got this weekend here at home. And I feel like it's in order for him to preach to us today. Would you stand together and honor the word of the Lord, the ministry of the word? It's good to feel the Holy Ghost today with a sweet touch of God that's already moved through this house. Exodus chapter 12, verse 39. I want to say that I give honor to my pastor, Pastor Copeland. I hear it's good sleep. Oh, hallelujah. Amen. Boy, the power of God is here. You know, in services like this, you wrestle with what to preach, how long to preach. Everybody said, real short. One service today, right? Praise God. Hint taken. It's good to see everybody here. All the guests, uh, here. Thank you for being here today. Exodus 12 and 39, speaking of the exodus of the children of Israel from Egypt, and this feast of unleavened bread. The Bible says, and they baked unleavened cakes of the dough which they brought forth out of Egypt, for it was not leavened because the reason it was not leavened because they were thrust out of Egypt and could not tarry. They couldn't wait. They had to move. In Deuteronomy 16, the command is given. You don't have to turn there. I'll just read it to you. Thou shalt eat no leavened bread with it, speaking of the same feast. Seven days shalt thou eat unleavened bread therewith, even the bread of affliction, for thou camest forth out of the land of Egypt in haste. The scripture said that the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night. Jesus said, watch, be ready in an hour when you think not the Son of Man cometh. On and on we could go. The imminency of the rapture of the church is a reality. I'm telling you, the scripture said, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, this corruption is going to put on incorruption, and this mortal is going to put on immortality. We are going to be changed, and we are going to go and meet Him in the air. And every day you put God off, you're in danger of missing the rapture of the church. Every Sunday you let the devil convince you to say, well, maybe next Sunday. I want to talk to you for just a little while today on this subject, The Danger of Delay. There's a danger in delaying the necessary. God bless you. Thank you for standing. You can be seated. Jesus said in the fifth chapter of John, search the scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life, and they are they which testify of me. He told them, you, you study that Old Testament, and you think that you have life in it, but it's the very scriptures that you're reading in that Old Testament, it's, it's really testifying of me. If, if you're, if you're unfamiliar with, with the Bible, or how the Bible works, it's, it's, it's a very commonly known fact that the Old Testament is, is more than just a bunch of random stories and random details about a people group. But the Old Testament is filled with, with types and shadows of Jesus and our salvation. It is filled with that, that first three quarters of the Bible that you carry, that, that Old Testament is filled with previews of our salvation and the Lord Jesus Christ. And I don't know if there is a more full picture of salvation in that Old Testament than that what we find in the book of Exodus. In, in the book of Exodus, the, the general storyline is that God's people, His covenant people, uh, found themselves in a position of slavery in Egypt. They were made to serve against their will, and God delivered them in miraculous fashion. When, when the Red Sea was parted, and the children of Israel went through on dry ground, and their enemy was drowned behind them. And the more you press in and look at the story of the Exodus, the more you see it's, it's not really about Israel being set free. It's, it's about us being set free. The, the more you peer into the Exodus of Israel from Egypt, the more you realize it's not only about their deliverance, but it's about my deliverance. The more you, you peel the layers off, you realize it's not just about their salvation. This is about our salvation. The first thing I want to point out to you is that the people of Israel, they journeyed into Egypt as visitors, but they wound up in a position of slavery. They went there for a temporary relief. There was a famine, and it had been prophesied. There, there was only five more years of the famine left. I don't know how long they planned to stay there, but they went there as visitors, and before it was over, they found themselves in chains. When they went there, the, the, their kinsmen, Joseph, was a prominent political leader. They had representation and pull in the land. But, but there came a day when their kinfolk who was high up the political ladder in Egypt died, and Israel found themselves in a land with no representation and no pull at all. And the Bible says, there arose a new king over Egypt which did not know Joseph, which means he didn't care about Israel. And the Bible says that Egypt began to get nervous and said, these Israelites are multiplying. We, there's a whole lot of, they came, it was just a few of them, but it's a whole lot of them now. We better deal very wisely with them, unless, unless a war break out, or or someone come against us and they join our enemies. So this is their plan to deal with those growing Israelites. They said, they did set over them taskmasters to afflict them with their burdens, and the Egyptians made the children of Israel to serve with rigor. They, they went to that land as visitors, but before they left, they found themselves in a position of slavery. If you're not familiar with all of the typology in the Bible, let me just tell you that when you see Egypt in the Bible, it is a prominent picture of sin. It is a prominent type of the world system. And I, I want to tell you that the Exodus is trying to teach us that you cannot plan to make a visit to sin and not wind up a slave. Oh, hallelujah. Let me tell you, now is no time to be visiting this world and the things of this world. Now is no time to be throwing off the word of God and going about living the way we see fit. Let me remind you, you cannot journey into sin and make it out without some scars. You can be seated. Bishop, I appreciate the way I heard you say it the other night in a, in a youth rally we were in. You, people, people, and if you hadn't heard it, I'm sure you have, I'll share it, but, but people think they, they can visit sin and dabble in sin and, and rebellion against God, and they think they can just repent and tie that up and put it on a shelf, and it will never affect them. But the reality is, if you visit, when you sin, that opens doors, and usually the doors that are opened, uh, are doors of bondage. When you open the door, and usually they are doors of affliction. And when, oh, hallelujah, you may go visit Egypt, but you may find out you can't leave when you get good and ready. Let the Exodus teach you, you can't visit sin and expect to escape unscathed. It'll mark you. It'll scar you. It'll bind you. You'll be seated. Oh, hallelujah. It's, it's the same thing that happened in the book of Ruth. That man by the name of Elimelech, he had a wife and two sons, and there was a famine in the land. And the Bible said that that man from Bethlehem, Judah, Elimelech, he went to sojourn in the country of Moab. Now, that word sojourn, it literally means a temporary stay. He, he went to find some relief from the famine that was in the land that they lived in. But I want you to know where he went to sojourn. The next couple of verses says that Elimelech died, and his two sons, Mahlon and Chilion, died also. Both of them. Elimelech was planning a temporary stay in the land of Moab, and he died, and his sons died. They never planned to die there. They only wanted to go for a little while for a temporary reprieve. But what they thought was going to be a quick little visit and then we'll get back to Bethlehem, Bethlehem, it claimed three of their lives. Nobody plans on going into sin. Nobody goes with the intention of becoming a slave. Oh, hallelujah. Oh, hell. Let me tell you, you can be seated. No, not little kids when they're sneaking around, 10, 11, 12, 13 year olds. They're not sneaking around opening a pack of cigarettes, sneaking off in the woods, smoking a cigarette with the intention of becoming a slave. No. Nobody journeys. It starts playing around with cigarettes with the intention of 40 or 50 years being laid up in the hospital with oxygen going in their lungs, wishing they'd have never journeyed there. Oh, let me tell you, college kids, when they go to their first party and they crack their first bottle of whiskey, they never see the picture of themselves laying up with yellow skin and a serrated liver, wishing that and never went there. Oh, my God. You need to hear me. I know people right now today that are hooked on meth, and they're stealing from the people they love. But I'm telling you, the first time they tried it, they never intended on having shackles on their feet. They never intended. Oh, you better hear the lesson of the Exodus. Sin will put a whip on your back. Sin will put a yoke on your neck. Oh, there's people that can testify to you today. Oh, hallelujah. I'm going to tell you, there's young people, they never thought the first time they journeyed in and visited a pornographic website, they never thought that it robbed them of their anointing. They never thought it robbed them of their ministry. I've just come to tell you, you can't visit sin. It'll put a yoke on your neck. Oh, hallelujah. You can be seated. We learn that sin is hard. It, uh, it says the Egyptians made the children of Israel to serve with rigor, and they made their lives bitter with hard bondage. The Bible said that they made them serve in mortar and brick, in all manner of service in the field, and all their service wherein they made them serve was with rigor. Let me tell you, sin, the devil wants you to think sin is a game, and sin is thrilling, and sin is fun. But I'm telling you, sin will make your life bitter. I know this ain't, this, this may not be popular preaching. This may not get me going a whole lot of places. But, but you better hear me. That, that I'll grant you, there may be pleasure in sin for a season. But there's coming a day when the season is going to end. And you better never forget that the wages of sin is death. When you sin, will James said, when sin is finished, it bringeth forth death. You may think you're going to play in it a while. You may think you're going to meddle in it a while. You may think you're fooling around with sin, but really sin is working on you. And the word of God said that sin, when it is finished, it bringeth forth death. Oh, hallelujah. Some folks would say, living for God is hard. No, no, no, no. I'm going to tell you, the way of the transgressor is what's hard. There ain't nothing like the liberty of living for God. And it's hard to compare anything to the bondage of sin. You need to make your mind up. I'm not going the way of the world. I'm not living the way of the transgressor. I want to serve God and be blessed. Oh, hallelujah. Be seated. I'm hurrying. We learned that for them to get out of Egypt, their only hope was for God to make a way. The Bible said, the children of Israel sighed by reason of the bondage, and they cried, and their cry came up unto God by reason of the bondage. And God heard their groaning and remembered His covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. In such a position of slavery, their only hope of escape was a move of God. And I want to tell you today, your only hope of getting out of your sin is a move of the Spirit of God. Your only answer is found in this house. Oh, let me tell you today, that, that there, there truly is not a class good enough. There's not a counselor good enough to pull you up out of your addictions, uh, and out of your bondage. Your only hope to shake off the bondage, your only hope to shake off the addictions, is to be in the presence of the Spirit of God. Let me tell you something. We, now, let me say this. I believe in doing everything the best we can. I, I believe we need to sing the best we can. I believe we need to preach the best we can. I believe we need to have every, I dot at every T crossed. But at the end of the day, in our flesh, we can't get you out. Our only hope is that Jesus would show up and set somebody free. Our only ho, oh, the scripture didn't say where there's good preaching, there's liberty. It didn't say where there's tremendous singing, there's liberty. But it said, where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. Oh, that's why Pentecostals worship the way they do. That's why Pentecostals pray the way they do. That's why we're okay with letting the service go like it has today, because we realize we can't get you out. Only He can get you out. And if He would show up, then every sickness could be healed. If He would show up, that every captive could be set free. Oh, somebody clap your hands to the Lord. We need You, Jesus. Oh, come on for just a moment. Would you lift your voice? We need You, Holy Ghost. We need You, Holy Ghost. [Applause] Somebody shout Jesus. Their only hope was to have the blood applied, because that last plague was the firstborn is going to die where the blood is not covering that house. The Bible said in Exodus 12 and 7, they shall take of the blood and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper doorposts of the houses. I want you to notice that when they heard the word of Moses about putting that blood on the house, and they mixed it with faith, that that faith didn't stay invisible. Notice that the blood was applied to the outside of the home, so everybody could see it. Because if you really get faith in your heart, you'll get faith manifesting in your life. Hear me today, living for God is not done in secret. Oh, hallelujah. If you really get saved the Bible way, everybody's going to know it. If you really get the Holy Ghost the Bible way, there are visible, tangible changes. If you get saved the Bible way, I'm telling you, you'll walk different. You'll start talking different. You'll start running with different folks. Because when the Holy Ghost is working on the inside, you can mark it down, it's going to show up on the outside. [Applause] Some folks, some folks say, man, if I bought into all that Pentecostal stuff, my friends would think that's crazy. Well, my friends still think I'm crazy. We're not great friends anymore, though. Some folks say, man, I, I could, I could never, I could never. I love what y'all saying. I love what I feel down there. I love the worship. But, but ain't no way I can start dressing like a Pentecostal and living like a Pentecostal and being holy like one of you Pentecostals. I, people look at me so crazy. Let me tell you, you don't, you don't think that people looked at those Israelites crazy when there's outside the front of their house with a bucket of blood and a bunch of hyssop slinging that stuff all over that doorpost? You better believe people was looking at them like that is crazy. But somewhere, you got to make your mind up. You can make all the fun you want to make. You can point all the fingers you want to. This is what's gonna save me. This is my only hope of getting out of Egypt. To make your fun, but I'm going to the glory world. Point your finger, but I'm going home with Jesus. Oh, hallelujah. Is there anybody that's got your mind made up to serve God, no matter the ridicule, no matter the struggle? No. Hallelujah. I'm thankful to be in a church that's still preaching the truth, still preaching that right. Be seated. Hallelujah. Let me tell you, we learned from the Exodus that they had to be willing to leave Egypt. To leave Egypt? You say that's obvious. No, that's not obvious. That they had to be willing to leave what they were comfortable with. They had to be willing to leave what they had known all their lives. And I'm going to tell you, too many people, too many good people, have been deceived by so-called Christian preachers that tell them they can have manna but stay in Egypt. Too many people have been told that they can have water out of the rock but stay in Egypt. Too many people have been told that that pillar of fire will lead you when they've never left Egypt. I want to tell you, when it comes to God, it is all or nothing. You either come out of Egypt or you stay a slave. The lukewarm only have one place in the Bible, and that is spewed out of the mouth of God. Oh, I want to tell you, if you're going to get out of Egypt, you got to be willing to get up and leave. Oh, hallelujah. You can be seated. Everybody, everybody wants the blessings of the gospel, but they don't want to hear the demand of the gospel. To follow me. Everybody wants Jesus to be their friend. Everybody wants Jesus to be their peace that passes understanding. Everybody wants Jesus to be their miracle worker. Everybody wants Jesus to multiply their loaves and their fishes. But there ain't a whole lot of people that want to make Jesus their Lord. Let me tell you, if you want to know the God of the miraculous, you got to be willing to get up and hear. Oh, you don't get the blessings of the gospel without obeying the call of the gospel. You're going to, oh, let the Exodus teach you. If you want the provision of God, get up and get out of Egypt. If you want water from a rock, get up and get out of the land of your [Applause] bondage. Now, let me tell you, if Israel was going to get out of Egypt, they had to go through the water. There was no route for them out of Egypt except through the water. Let me tell you how Jesus said it, except a man is born of water and of spirit, he cannot see the kingdom of God. I'm going to say something unpopular here, but you really do have to be baptized in Jesus' name to be saved. That's not a, that's not some sideline Pentecostal thing. I'm quoting the words of Jesus. Except a man is born of water and spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. Now, I'll grant you, some people say, well, when it said born of water, that meant, you know, the natural birth, like a woman's water broke, like amniotic fluid. Well, if water means amniotic fluid, I want to point out to you that the same word, and I borrowed this from an elder that's powerful, he probably won't care if I use it, but the same Greek word translated water in John 3, where Jesus said, you've got to be born of water and spirit, it's the same Greek word that's used when it says Jesus turned the water into wine. It's the same Greek word that was used by that Ethiopian eunuch in the book of Acts when they were traveling along, and he said, look, here is water, what does hinder me to be baptized? It's the same Greek word that Peter used when he was talking about Noah and the eight souls that were saved by water. So if water in John 3 don't mean water, then I want to know what Jesus turned into wine. And if water don't mean water, I want to know what that Ethiopian eunuch got baptized in. And if water don't mean water, I'd like for you to tell me what Noah's ark was fl. I got a powerful revelation for you today. Water really does mean water. And except a man is born of the water and of the spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. If you're going to be saved, somewhere you got to let a man of God bury you in the only saving name of Jesus in water. Except that man is born of water, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Be seated. Israel went through the water, and God's trying to tell you, you got to go through the water if you're going to get out of Egypt. When they got out, they had a pillar of cloud by day and fire by night to lead them. That abiding presence of God in their midst. He's trying to tell us, you need the Spirit of God leading you night and day. I want to tell you, the, the only true Christianity is Holy Ghost Christianity. You try to find me in the Bible, a Christianity that is not a tongue-talking, Holy Ghost Christianity. Oh, hallelujah. A Christianity without tongue-talking, Holy Ghost is foreign to the Bible. I'm telling you, all of the apostles received the Holy Ghost and spoke with other tongues. Mary, the mother of Jesus, received the Holy Ghost and spoke with other tongues. The normative Christian experience in the New Testament for every believer is that they are baptized in the name of Jesus, and that they are filled with the Holy Ghost, and they speak with other tongues as the initial evidence of receiving the Holy Ghost. Let me tell you how strong the Bible says it. If any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His. Oh, praise God. You see, I could have found something fancy to preach today, but I'd like to see everybody in this house receive an authentic Christian experience. In the second chapter of the book of Acts, the believers repented of their sins, they got baptized in Jesus' name, and they received the Holy Ghost and spoke with other tongues. In the eighth, in the eighth chapter of the book of Acts, uh, though those in Samaria, when they, when they believed on the Lord, they were buried in Jesus' name, filled with the Holy Ghost, and spoke with other tongues. In the 10th chapter of the book of Acts, those of Cornelius's household, when they believed on the Lord Jesus, they were baptized in Jesus' name, and they were filled with the Holy Ghost, speaking with other. Are you catching on? In Acts 19, those believers, they were re-baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus and filled with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking with other tongues. I've come to tell you, it's not the Pentecostals that are out in left field because they talk in other tongues. Christianity that doesn't talk in other tongues are the ones that are often left field. I'm telling you, if you want a Christian experience, it is available today. I've got good news for you. The Holy Ghost is not reserved for a select few of religious elites. It is for whosoever will. It is for you and your children, and all, hallelujah, all those that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. God, I've got to hurry. You can be seated. Praise God. We learn from the Exodus that salvation is supposed to rearrange your priorities. Life after being saved is supposed to be radically different from life before you were saved. Oh, praise God. Do you realize that Jesus used the most radical human language available to describe a conversion experience? He said, when you get in this kingdom, it's not like a slight modification of your behavior, and you go somewhere different on Sunday. No, He said, how can I describe this conversion? It's like being born again. Everything is different. If you have a Christianity that has left you with zero change, I want to encourage you to seek out the real thing where it literally is a total revolution of your whole being and your whole life. It is literally like a new birth. It's like a brand new start, and everything is different. In Exodus 12, the Bible said, the Lord spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying, this month shall be unto you the beginning of months. It shall be the first month of the year to you. God was saying, this month of your deliverance out here, I'm giving you a new calendar. This month that I brought you out of Egypt, it's going to be the first month of the year to you. Now, I don't know what kind of calendar you used to operate off of. I don't know what kind of timetable you used to operate on. But now you have a new calendar. I, I don't know what, how you used to work your life, but now every, this month that I'm bringing you out, it's going to be the first month of the year to you. I, I don't know what your life used to revolve around, but now everything is going to orbit around your deliverance. I want to tell you, my personal life, it used to revolve around everything but the church. My life revolved around ball games, and it revolved around going to the, to the best parties, and it revolved around sitting in front of a television watching my favorite TV show. But I'm telling you, when I got the Holy Ghost, I got a new calendar. And that month, I'm telling you, the church became the primary thing in my life. Let the Exodus teach you, when you come out of Egypt, everything's supposed to orbit around where you got your deliverance. Oh, hallelujah. I'm hurrying. We could go on and on today about the pictures of salvation, their journey to the promised land. You got to leave Egypt, you got to go through the water, you need the Holy Ghost, you need a total life change. We could go on and on, but it would be a mistake to pass over the fact that they could have no leaven in their bread at this time. They were commanded by God, only eat unleavened bread. The only kind of bread you can eat is unleavened bread during this time. Leaven, you know, the substance used to produce fermentation and though cause it to rise, to make it delicious. And God told them, no leaven in the bread. And there's nothing wrong with leaven, except for the fact that it takes time to work. When you put leaven in dough, you got to wait around on the bread to rise. And when you're getting out of Egypt, God is telling them, when you're getting out of Egypt, there's no time to spare. When you're getting out of Egypt, you don't have one moment to waste. You don't even have time to let the bread rise. Leaven is used often as a picture of influence in the Bible. Used of good influence, Jesus said the kingdom of heaven is like leaven. It's used of bad influence. He said the doctrine of the Pharisees was like leaven. But I think the primary thing in mind in the feast of unleavened bread is time. Time, time, time is of the essence when God is calling your name. Our text said, they only ate unleavened cakes of dough, and they could not tarry. The Bible said, they had to eat it, this feast of unleavened bread, with their loins girded, shoes on their feet, staff in your hand, you shall eat it in haste. Eat only unleavened bread, for thou camest forth out of the land of Egypt in haste. To commemorate their exodus, to commemorate the day of their salvation, the Lord instructed them to keep the Passover and the feast of unleavened bread. Keep this feast, God told them plainly. In this feast, no leavened bread, no leaven. And He told them, no leaven with a specific purpose in mind. And that purpose of having no leaven is so that they would remember when God called us out of our bondage, we did not have one moment to wait around. When He called us out of our bondage, we did not have one minute to delay. When God opened the door of our salvation, we didn't have time for wishy-washy indecision. But when God called our name and opened the door, there was no time for delay. We had to get up and we had to move. It was for every generation. This feast, when they were to be keeping this feast in 500 years, and their kids would say, Mom and Dad, why in the world do we have to keep this feast of unleavened bread and eat this whole nasty bread? And so their kids could tell the next generation, when God called us out of Egypt, we didn't even have time to let the bread rise. When the door of salvation opened, we had to get up and we had to go. Oh, hallelujah. You can be seated. I felt a burden from the Lord to tell somebody today, you, you can't afford to say maybe next week. You, you can't afford to say maybe I'll get it right next Tuesday. Maybe I'll get it right next Sunday. No, I hear this young preacher today, as humbly as I can tell you, every day that you put God off, you're in danger of missing your opportunity. Every day that you delay, you're in danger of missing the rapture of the church. What Isaiah said, he said, you better seek the Lord while He may be found. You better call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts. Seek Him while He may be found. You better believe that applies now, because there may be, there's going to be a day soon when the church is gone. Come on. And all the God-fearing preachers are gone. And if you ain't right, you're gonna wish to your God you had a church to go to. You're gonna pray to your God, you, you could be back in this service. Oh, hallelujah. Hallelujah.
I'm telling you now, now is not the time to be putting God off until later. You better seek Him while He may be found. The indication is there's a time where He may not be found. Bishop, I believe I heard you teach this, and I might. It's powerful. It's not that God will be unavailable; it's that there really are seasons in people's lives where they're more sensitive to the preached word of God. There really are seasons in people's lives whether it's chaos or disease or financial struggle where something breaks up the soil of their fallow ground, and they can sit in a church service and feel the pull of God. Oh, hear me today, if that window is open and you can feel the stirring of the Holy Ghost, I want to encourage you to seek the Lord while He may be found. If y'all in these last days, if you feel the stirring of the Holy Ghost in your heart, you better seek Him while the wind is open. You better seek Him while you're sensitive enough to feel Him. I've got to quit. Musicians, come please.
See what Paul said. Paul said, "Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation." Right now. Let me tell you something. The devil is fine with you getting baptized in Jesus' name. Just do it next week. The devil's fine with you being filled with the Holy Ghost. Just wait 'til next Sunday. The devil's fine with everybody going up in the rapture with the church, as long as they decide to do it the day after the rapture. Can I tell you? He's the master of delay. The devil don't have to deceive you. All he's got to do is delay you. Maybe next week.
The Bible said that Nicodemus came to Jesus by night. Came at night. And that's when they hide that conversation when Jesus said, "Except a man is born of water and spirit." It was at night. Some say he came at night because he was trying to hide. You know, he didn't want his Pharisee buddies to see. Some say he came at night because he was just a busy man during the day, his only time. But some would say he went at night because that's when the Spirit moved on him. And when the Spirit moves on you, it don't matter if it's day or night. It don't matter if it's the right time in a service. It don't matter if I'm supposed to go to the altar right now. I'm telling you, at some point, there's got to be a sense of urgency. Get you that say, "I don't care what time it is." I've heard stories of people calling, waking pastors up out of the bed two and three in the morning because they got so convicted and saying, "Pastor, I'm gonna go to hell. You gotta meet me at the church and baptize." I know it's three in the morning, but I feel like I can't wait one moment. I feel like I'm in danger every moment that I delay. Somewhere that urgency, if you're gonna be saved, somewhere that urgency has got to get you. It says, "I can't wait one more moment."
Brother Forside didn't know what I was preaching. He come to him in the prayer room. He said, "You might not have to preach. The Lord could come back before we have church." I said, "Man, you're exactly right." Oh, I've got to. Let me close with this scripture. Said Jesus said, "As it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be in the days of the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days that were before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and knew not until the flood came and took them all away. So shall also the coming of the Son of Man be. Then shall two be in the field, one shall be taken, the other left. Two women shall be grinding at the mill, one shall be taken, the other left. Watch therefore, for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come." As it was in the days of Noah.

I believe there were people that wanted to get on that ark. You know, the Bible indicates that Noah wasn't just building. Noah was preaching. It said he was a preacher of righteousness. And I wonder if Jesus said, "Today is like that day." I wonder if people went by and heard Noah preaching that's not preached righteousness. If people went by that way and he was saying, "There's a flood coming. Get right with God." I wonder if there's people, I said, "Man, I hear you. It sounds right, but man, that's radical. I just, I got to get to work. I'm going to come back and hear you tomorrow." Devil was fine with everybody getting on that ark, long as they waited one day after the rain started falling. I wonder, there's people like Felix that stood under the preaching of the Apostle Paul, trembling, said, "Man, would you just come back at a convenient season? I just, I just can't right now." I'm talking to people that know what to do. I'm talking to people that know what's right. I'm talking to people that have an understanding. I'm talking to people that know they need to be in the altar. I'm talking to people that know they need to be full of the Holy Ghost. What I'm preaching to you today is that we're at the point where you are in danger every day that you delay the necessary. Let's stand all over the house. Would you lift your hands? God has showed up in this service to help. It's not enough to know you need to get on the ark. You got to get on it. It's not enough to know you need to be baptized in Jesus' name. You need to get baptized. It's not enough to intellectually agree that people need the Holy Ghost speaking with tongues. You need to pursue it. Hell is not going to be full of people that were deceived. It's going to be full of a lot of people that were delayed. I can, we can preach and we teach and we can do the best we can to break it down and say, "This is the pattern of Christianity." And people can intellectually agree, but I'm telling you, you can know the truth, but if you don't move and act on it, if you let the devil delay you, I'm, I've come to preach to you, there is danger. I'm done. God takes it very seriously when people put Him off. He told them, "If anybody, if I find anybody with leaven in their feast, they're going to be cut off from my people." God takes it seriously when He opens a window of opportunity for somebody and they say, "Oh, maybe, maybe next time." I'm done. Would you lift your hands? Let's pray. I wish a prayer warrior would help me pray. There's been people here and preaching this church for too long that have been delayed. Today, the delay must end. Today, you need to move. Why don't you just give the Lord a good hand clap of praise across this bill and thank God for what He's done today? I don't know whether Brother Parker is, but could somebody send Brother Parker my? I'm very thankful for the work that God's been doing in Tanner's life. Tanner's one of those young men that has come into this church, and he's just special. I don't know if you've even any you've been around much, but there's a special, special touch of God on this young man's life. I appreciate all those that have been working with him, and because there's just some people that come around that you just know that God called them for purpose, and this is one of those young men. I don't know what God's going to do with him, but there's greatness in this young man. And when he comes up out of that water, I believe he's going to be speaking in other tongues. I believe the power of God's going to hit him, and there's just no telling what God's going to do with this young man's life. Now, I knew Tanner was tall. I just didn't realize how big of an old boy he was until he got in here and sat down on this box.

And it's going to take more than the average amount of water to put him completely under. So I thought we were ready, but we might are to give this about five more minutes. That's a lot of man to get under the water here. Hallelujah. Aren't you thankful for the goodness of God? This is a great church, folks. The chemistry of this church is just right. Let me warn you all of you who want to be led away, all of you who want to get carnal, have a temptation to get carnal. I don't mean you want to, but you have a temptation to eat carnal during the summertime and all that. Let me remind you of something. Don't change what made you want to be a part of this church. What drew you to this church was a chemistry, our separation from the world, our standards of holiness, our worship, our consistency in prayer and coming to the prayer room, our consistency in coming to the to the mid-week prayer. There was a chemistry here that made this a great church and made you want to be a part of it. Now, don't come here and become a part of this church and start backsliding on the standards that we've taught. Not come into the prayer room and create an atmosphere that changes the chemistry of what this church is, because then you won't want to be a part of it anymore, and nobody else will want to be. Stay with what we've been that made this church what it is. Well, that got a less than average response. What we've been is what made you want to be a part of this. Keep it. Don't lose it. Don't change it. Stay with our separation. Stay with consistency to the prayer room. Stay with coming to the prayer meetings, and I'm going to tell you, we'll keep the chemistry that makes this church great, makes this church awesome. All right, I think we got enough water to baptize this young man. He said he's going on a diet. I don't think that's the problem. You're just a big old boy. You can diet and you'll still be a big old boy. Jesus, dear Lord, in obedience to Your word and obedience to Your New Testament teaching, we're baptizing Tanner right now in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission, the washing away of his sins.
