Okay, I forgot to record, so we're just going to start over there. So sorry, guys. What is an aspect? An aspect is a planetary conversation. So it's when two planets are involved with each other, they have something to do with each other. So it creates this convergence of dynamic activity within ourselves. So aspects describe, if they're difficult aspects, they describe inner conflicts that will result in outer circumstances. And that's because of the interaction of these psychic faculties, these voices within ourselves that are in aspect to each other, that are often frustrated. So that will create a behavior, that will create a pattern of behavior. So it's important to analyze aspects because those are the potentials that we see for conflict and for complexes within our nature. So it's a convergence, if it's difficult things, a convergence of difficult, uh, thoughts, or the parts of ourselves that are more negative or fractured. We're seeing that we have some, some resulting thoughts, feelings, patterns, behaviors that are from stress, that are points of stress when we look at aspects.
So when we have easy, what we call soft aspects, this is points within ourselves, points of thinking, feeling, where our needs are connecting, where we don't have any friction, we don't have a problem, because it's like we have one part of ourself that is harmonious and in participation with another part of ourself. But with the difficult things, what we call the hard aspects, we have one part of ourselves that is in conflict with another part of ourself, or we have a point of friction between these two things. And those are the building blocks of character. For those hard aspects, this is where we find the, the, the behaviors that we must draw our attention to in order to understand, in order to get beyond, in order to unravel, in order to make some progress. Because think, think about two, you know, visualize a square aspect or an opposition aspect. We have two, actually a square, think about a square or a semi, a semi-square or a cisco quadrant where we have two forces that are equally pushing against each other. And so there's no, there's no movement because there's this frustrated feeling of non-progress or conflict or tension pushing against these two factors within ourselves. So this is where we can feel frustration, we can feel tension. And if we have, you know, the different types of aspects have those different ways of pushing us towards solving the issue of the tension. Where is that coming from? How can we do something or work in a way or grow in a way that combines these two things instead of experiencing a conflict? So we have to solve something within ourselves.
So aspects are a mix of needs. They're a mix of planetary functions. Planetary functions are actions. It's, it's what the planet is, it's what the planet's function is. So Mars, its function is to survive and to stake our claim in the world and for autonomy. All the different planets. Venus, our capacity and acting upon our appreciation and our gifts and the gifts of others. And so all the planets have an essential behavior to them. And that behavior is determined by the sign that they rule. So when we are examining aspects, we want to start by determining the essential angle and the accidental angle. The essential angle is the aspect the two planets naturally make to each other on the wheel. So for instance, the Moon and Saturn are naturally in opposition to each other on the wheel, if we look from Aries to Pisces. So their essential angle is an opposition. That's their natural relationship that they have to each other, the natural balance that they have. And then we look at what is the accidental angle that one has in their chart. So let's say that somebody has Venus, I'm sorry, the Moon and Saturn in a 150-degree angle, they're 150 degrees away from each other. So the accidental angle is an in conjunction. So this tells us that these planets are in a relationship to each other. These two functions that are naturally balancing in our personality, these two functions or needs are in a particular angle or conversation of difficulty. So it gives us an idea of how these two naturally opposing forces are in relationship to each other. We really don't have a relationship with the in conjunction. So it gives us a good idea of what the resulting factors are going to be.
So some naturally archetypal relationships, um, will show up in aspect. You know, sometimes we will have the Moon opposing Saturn, and then we'll see, oh, okay, well, we have an essential natural relationship between these two things. There's an essential natural balance point there. So we always want to look at essential and accidental angles to see how are these two, these two archetypes that are naturally either balancing or in difficult relationship, how are they functioning for this individual in their particular personality? So say we have an essential angle of 120 degrees between Mars and Saturn, I'm sorry, an accidental angle, I apologize. Say we have an accidental angle, an aspect of 120 degrees between Mars and Saturn. We can look at that and say, well, what is the essential angle between these? Well, Mars and Saturn are naturally square to each other on the wheel. So in this person's particular personality, the function of delayed gratification, the function of spontaneous action, and how we can really assert ourselves in the short term, how we assert ourselves in the long term, they are in very good relationship to each other in this person's particular personality. So where humanity at large has to, because we all have, or, or, you know, the zodiac, the natural archetypal relationship between Mars and Saturn, like the basic human story is that we have to fight for what it is that we want to become. There's a certain amount of survival that's involved in the world. Now, that's not so much the case when we have that classically archetypal relationship between Mars and Saturn in a point of ease in someone's thinking, in someone's behavior and their feelings, in the way that they see the world and act upon their feelings.
So we can have, um, you know, some people who have a very different idea about classically archetypal combinations and their personality. Like, you know, that a Mars trine Saturn person, they, you know, look at, uh, a lot of the rest of humanity and see all the striving and working hard and exerting energy and not getting anywhere and think, I just don't know what's up with everybody. It's so easy. So it's a different, different way of doing things. I, I know somebody with a beautiful trine, beautiful signs, perfect houses between Moon and Venus, and we have a really good Jupiter involved there too. And a few years ago, we were out to lunch and she commented, I don't know why people have so many problems in relationships. I mean, relationships are easy. This is easy. And, you know, I had to point out that, you know, not in everybody's experience. So we can have different, uh, things going on that combine, you know, to form that individual outlook. And that would be aspects that are responsible for that. Um, another thing with aspects, uh, basic law or rule when we are determining aspects and we are analyzing them is that we have to remember that the outer planet has more influence or effect on the inner planet, although they both do have an exchange. So this is because the outer planet is the part of ourselves or our psyche that grows slower, it learns slower, it matures more over the course of time. And the inner planet is more the behaviors, the needs, the faculties within us that are responsible for daily life, more short-term things, things that have to do with the development of the personal self. So we have the deeper parts of our nature, uh, having, especially in transit, um, you know, having a sort of a, we could even say the societal parts of our nature having an effect on the personal parts of our nature. So it's like the deep, the more consequential parts of ourselves are acting upon the, I always say the more superficial or often less consequential parts of ourselves. So we look at outer planets as being more of the influence upon the inner planet because the way, say we have a Venus Jupiter thing going on, aspect going on. A Jupiter is our deeper, more entrenched moral code. It's our more encompassing values. Venus is our preferences, aesthetic ones, likes, dislikes, it's our values, but on a much more superficial level. So if we have an aspect, say of Jupiter to Venus, then Jupiter will be the one that's exerting a bit more of the influence or the lesson upon Venus. So we have the potential for the broadening, the, the opening of the generosity of Jupiter. It's not so much Jupiter that is as affected as Venus. So that's another thing to keep in mind is that the outer planet often does have the greater pull.
So aspects are a mix of planetary functions. They're a mix of planetary conversations. They're a mix of needs. And that results in beliefs. It results in beliefs, ideas about how easy or how hard it is to get a particular need met. Because if we have two needs, which are two planets that are in a difficult relationship with each other, our idea of those two needs is going to be their stress involved, or that it's a hard thing to combine those things or get the result that we're looking for. So we can be frustrated or aided by the hard aspects or the soft aspects. So when we are looking at analyzing aspects, we need to next determine the need a planet is trying to fulfill. So first, we've looked at the essential and the accidental angle. Now we understand that the outer planet will often have more effect on the inner planet, although they both do have an exchange. We understand that aspects mix planetary functions that result in emergent beliefs. Now we're going to determine the need a planet is trying to fulfill. What psychological function is that planet responsible for? So let's look at, say, that's a good example here. Let's look at the Sun and Mars in a trine to each other. So what is the need that the Sun is trying to fulfill? It's trying to fulfill the need to become an individual, to express ourselves as an autonomous human being, to be able to gain validation through the expression of our particular kind of creativity. It's our life force and our vitality. So we are trying to assert ourselves in a way where we are receiving positive feedback for how we've developed and who we are. We want to feel good about ourselves. We all have that, that human need. And Mars is the need to do things more in the moment, to act upon our impulses in a way that starts the process of getting what we want. So it's how we, how we behave in relation to what it is that we want, how we secure that, how we get what we want, and also how we fight, how we assert ourselves. So we have two levels of ego here. We have Mars, the basic ego, the id, the most primitive part of the ego. We have the Sun, which is the identity, a bit more mature part of the ego. We're starting to have a bit more self-recognition and understand who we are as an individual rather than just be asserting that blindly.
So let's say that those are in a, a trine aspect. So we determine the need that both the Sun and Mars are trying to fulfill. Both certain, uh, uh, both actors on different parts of the ego or the self, the idea of me. And they aid in the development of our individual ego. So what is the characteristic action of each planet? The Sun characteristically performs is the part of us that wants to shine. Mars characteristically acts on impulses. It's the parts of us that wants to survive and wants to win, that wants to secure our place in the world. So what happens when these two actions combine in a trine? Well, we can look at the trine and see that the essential angle between the Sun and Mars is a trine. So there's a really easy way of these two things combined, even working together, because they don't actually, in this chart, even have an accidental angle. The only angle they have is an essential angle. So there will be an ease of combining these two points of ego in order to have a more successful outcome. So the behavior, the ways in which we assert ourselves, is likely to be balanced and not cause an issue in the life because we have a trine there, an easy relationship between these two things.
Let's look at Mars and Saturn. So we're going to determine the need the planets are trying to fulfill. So what action is that planet responsible for? So Mars is trying to fulfill the need to be alive, to assert ourselves, for impulsive movement, immediate gratification. So it's very much responsible for how we assert ourselves. Saturn is how we plan, how we act on delayed gratification, how we go towards the long term, how we act on our most ardent security needs. So we have impulsive movement with Mars and careful planning and delayed gratification with Saturn. So their essential angle is a square because Aries and Capricorn are naturally square to each other, and Mars rules Aries, Saturn rules Capricorn. So if they are in a square in that essential angle, they are already involved in a classic archetypal conflict that is really central to the human story of having to really assert ourselves, work hard, oftentimes delay what it is that we want right now in order to get what it is that we want more in the long term. If we have, say, an opposition, the essential angle is the square, but in this chart, we have Mars opposite to Saturn. So their accidental angle is an opposition. So we could see that the belief, the when these two actions combine, the belief that forms is more that something external to us, authority, Saturn, must be appeased, pleased, given deference to, in order to assert ourselves or have freedom of movement or autonomy or the ability to express ourselves. So you can feel very much in opposition to authority, self-judgment, government. We can also have a different side to the opposition where we can feel that we have to fight against that blockage, that authority, we have to oppose what it is that's restricting us in order to gain our autonomy, our freedom, the right to assert ourselves, to live and succeed.
So signs can have a lot to do with the thinking process, the nuances of the, um, the planets because if say we have aggressive signs that the planets are falling into, we can see, um, you know, more of the aggressive idea about the world or about others. We have more passive signs, and we can have more ideas or feelings about our own powerlessness and inability to stand up to those others, particularly with the opposition. So Saturn, as the outer planet, will act upon the spontaneity of Mars. So we have to learn to combine our fighting instinct and our aggression with our need for self-discipline. We have to learn to combine those in a way where there isn't inner frustration. If they're in difficult aspect, there isn't an inner frustration that we're dealing with anymore, because we feel that we are acting in a way that is getting us what it is that we need. So there's a success that comes out of things, out of these hard aspects. That's what we're looking for eventually. Not everybody solves every hard aspect. Some of us don't get to the bottom of it, but they're asking us to bring our attention to it because it's something that isn't working or a point of frustration or tension or stress. So the two planets have to come to a working relationship. These two needs within us have to come to a way that they can work together rather than work against each other or frustrate each other, or, uh, you know, we're either using one and abandoning the other, or using the other and abandoning the one. So we have this, um, integration of action that's happening there.
So what are the patterns of behavior, thoughts, feelings that can come from a hard aspect between Mars and Saturn? What are some of the emerging ideas, um, self-judgments that somebody could come to? Does anybody have anything to offer? I would say possibly, um, a fight between wanting to do something and telling yourself you're not good enough to do it, that you haven't mastered something yet. So you're constantly kind of like getting in your own way. Like, I'm not ready for this. I need to get another degree first. I need to work an extra year at the company before I can ask for a promotion. Something like that, right? So you're just, you're very much describing the Saturn function having that more pervasive effect over the Mars function because it's like Mars is in service to that Saturn. Absolutely, absolutely. Um, yeah, very, very good description there. So we can often feel humiliated with the difficult aspects between Mars and Saturn because we can feel that our own, you know, our personal power is being frustrated by outside forces. And often those outside forces are going to be an external manifestation of what is going on on the inside. Because aspects result in events, relationships, patterns of behavior that happen in the world. It's not just happening on the inside. They have a consequence when it comes to the kinds of activities that we are going to engage in, what is going to happen as a result of, you know, having this convergence of, uh, [Music] you know, planetary conversations, beliefs. So we can look at the likely outcome that we can expect often to see with certain types of aspects. So the outcome with difficult aspects, let's just use the square as an example between Mars and Saturn. The outcome would often be that we don't get where we feel that we're going because there is always this idea that there's, you know, something more or another expectation or, you know, another hill to climb. And, and so we can often, you know, see somebody that is going to, you know, be working harder, exerting more energy. And it's, when we come to understand that, how can we work smarter? How can we work in ways that, um, I want to say that they combine our skills in a way that we have success? We're not going to automatically combine our abilities with hard aspects and ways that we can have success, but we can certainly learn to do so. Because oftentimes a hard aspect, especially between Mars and Saturn, that's going to force a type of creativity that is, um, say, a type of creativity, a type of, um, or direction that is going to be the solution. It's, it's the resolution of these two things. So, um, you think of a practical example. Should I think of a practical example between Mars and Saturn here? I should have thought on that earlier. So we can come to understand, see, I'll have to think about this on the fly. So we can work so hard with the Mars, but the square between Mars and Saturn, we can work so hard that we can finally recognize ourselves as really putting in all that we can, as doing the best that we could, and we still feel that there's a type of defeat, but there's a type of not getting to the top. And that can then make us reevaluate what the top is, what is it that we've been working towards, what is it that we've been fighting for? And then develop a different goal, something that is more of our individual choosing, that's a Mars thing, something that is more within our actual abilities. And then we start working towards that. So we've taken, we've combined that autonomy and that need for personal control with the kind of pervasive goals, a responsibility that we're trying to have over our own life. So we can take control. But that's after we see that we may not be getting what we want because of how we feel that we're having to fight or struggle. And oftentimes you just put your hands up and you say, you know what, I'm going to reevaluate here. What is it that I'm doing? What is it that I'm working for? Why is it that I'm working, you know, with people or around people that I feel are blocking me or in my way? I am going to redirect here. I'm going to change my lifestyle. I'm going to change what it is that I thought I wanted to be, something that really is within my power and was is within my own choosing and my, uh, my ability to make that come true. So we can get off of automatic pilot with the hard aspects. That's often what they're asking us to do. So, um, we did then, you know, combine that discipline with aggression in a way that we're working towards what it is that we truly want. We're not working towards an image. We're not working towards, um, you know, putting ourselves in positions where we feel that we can be overwhelmed because we've chosen, we've taken ourselves out of the game and established a new game with that Mars square to Saturn, you know, after we've realized that the crisis or the conflict, we just get worn out, take responsibility, and then we can combine that natural aggression with what it is that we want because we got the lesson. Now we can always fall back into patterns and go back and work for the man again, or work in a situation or conditions where we do feel that there's just so much sustained effort involved that, you know, we, we just feel, you know, chronically defeated. We can, you know, go back to that. And often we do. Um, often I think as we learn lessons, some, sometimes we get it all at once, but often times it's a series of repeating smaller lessons that we finally, uh, we finally get.
So, um, when we're looking at aspects, we're going to go over this over and over and over again throughout this module. We're going to look at what is the essential and accidental angle. How does each planet act on the other? What childhood experiences and stages of development are described by the aspectual relationship? So let's look at the example of Mars to Saturn again. If we have the square, then we know that there's actually an essential angle of the square. And we can see that the ability to assert oneself very early in life, it was likely frustrated by a dominant parent or a figure, a figure of judgment, or somebody that, you know, wanted to, you know, keep us within a boundary or an expectation. So then we look at what are the patterns of behavior, thoughts, feelings that result from that aspect. Then we look at what are the life experiences, relationships, and events that are likely to occur as a result of those patterns of behavior, thinking, and feeling. So there's a, a few steps that we go through as we're looking at aspects. And we'll get really good at, uh, looking at all of those steps and figuring out all the different aspects and how they relate to those questions. So does anybody have any questions or anything to add?
Does it have to be an exact aspect? Or could it be like a trend? With the, no, aspects don't have to be exact. We'll talk about that as we go on. We'll have a lesson about orbs and, um, opening and closing aspects and separating. All of those little things we're going to learn here along the way. Okay, so no, aspects don't have to be exact. They can be within an orb, that means within an area of influence. So if we have like, you know, the Moon and Sun 10 degrees away from each other, that is a very wide conjunction. So they are in aspect to each other. Um, it's very, very wide. Exact aspects though. Was that the question? I'm not sure. Nah, nah, really. I didn't mean exactly. What I meant was like, if you're outside of the allowed orb, which is still the things you said somewhere there is a, a, um, relationship by sign. In that case, it's not going to be an acute often gift or difficulty, but there is two ways of being within us that are essentially, um, described by the signs that those two planets are in. So even if we have, you know, if we have two planets that are in trine signs, but they're not trine, they have an essential quality of harmony and of getting along. Okay, okay. Bay, um, yeah, I was wondering, um, I don't know if that's the case already, um, if we can ask that, but, um, no, I totally forgot my question out of the blue. Oh, that's how I'm feeling today. Yeah, particularly not sharp. Anybody else have anything? Can I ask one while you think of it? Yes. Um, I was wondering about planets like Venus and Mercury that ruled two signs where some planets would have like a nat, an essential relationship that is both like harmonious and challenging. Like the Moon to Venus is sextile to the Venus Taurus, but square to, um, Venus Libra. Like, how do you kind of determine like which essential relationship, like if, if the Moon was in an aspect to Venus in someone's chart, like how would you kind of determine the essential relationship between those two? Well, I just look at them as having a dual, a dual relationship. It isn't one or the other. It's that that is an interesting thing that there are two very different qualities of Venus that are shown by being represented by an Earth sign and being represented by an air sign. Absolutely. So that's just one of the basic things that I always keep in mind is that there's, uh, um, I would say more of a variety of potentials or types of relationships that Venus can have. Tanya, does the hard aspect that is an essential aspect make the hard aspect more easy? Yes. Is Mars square Saturn easier than the opposition or Saturn Moon opposition easier than a square? It is a natural, um, archetypal relationship that we see. So in my opinion, there is a, um, a higher degree of likelihood that we're going to figure that one out. So it, it, it, uh, it can also show like your Mars square to Saturn, that can show a very classic human behavior pattern. I mean, something that's very archetypal, which is that idea that we as humans, you know, as a person, I have to fight very hard and work very hard for what it is that I want. You know, that's a much more pervasive idea among humanity than, you know, and I can sit back and I trust life. Not as common. Yes. So the idea that, you know, we have to work and push and, and we'll eventually get there, that's written into so much of our human story and our human experience and our literature. And there's some amount of tryingness that's going on there. But typically, we're creatures of survival. It's survival of the fittest. And that is very much that square between Mars and Saturn, is that id, that idea of survival of the fittest. Not everybody gets to survive, and I may be weeded out. So there's a, yeah, an idea there that is classic. Does that answer the question? Maybe. Does anybody else have anything else? Hi, Joel. I wanted to say, um, maybe two things. Uh, one thing about Mars Saturn, um, from my experience when I analyzed charts of friends or, um, in general, some people I noticed that both hard aspects from Saturn to the Sun and Mars, uh, tend to have the ring of compensation. This phenomenon of compensation for the feeling of defeat that is deeply hidden in a way. And, um, I have a lot of compassion for these people because to me, many, many of them, before they figure out what's going on, they tend to be the very successful and very unhappy people. And what I have seen is, so people who really, um, can, um, impress with their status and achievements, but on the inside, they really feel like they are, they are not happy and they are quite empty, of course, until they reach this point of understanding this. So that's what I noticed. And the second thing is that I wanted to ask, maybe a tricky question, but, um, basing, um, on what you said about the relationship between the angles, for example, essential angles and, uh, um, accidents, yes, and the accidental ones, um, in your experience, um, do you have a feeling that there are certain, um, aspects in a relationship that for the majority of people tend to be much more difficult to solve? And if yes, then could you say which ones? Maybe, I think that the acts, that the essential relationships that can be more difficult would be the, the in conjunctions between planets. Say, for instance, the Mercury in conjunction to Uranus, that that can be a difficult one. No, I think we're essential there. Oh, I'm running out of brain power. I'm starting to confuse myself. Um, I actually did wake up feeling, did anybody else wake up feeling particularly foggy? I don't, I think it's probably just me. I have that every day. Oh, yeah. Luckily, I'm only about 10% of the time. Um, we have it today. Very, that's very special because, uh, I usually, I'm very motivated to do creative work and today I'm really struggling. This is the first thing, the first productive thing that I do outside of my bed today, to join the chat. So well, I don't feel bad then. I'm in good company today. I'm a little bit slow. Um, so maybe we're just getting off to a slower start today. Um, so particular difficult relationships, let me start over there and think a little bit more clearly. I don't know if particular, I'm trying to think, I'm trying to pick them out because I, it's, it's like trying to decide, you know, is an apple or an orange better or worse? It's, they're, they're all fruits. So, um, I'm not sure if I can answer that question. I don't know if I can, if I can quantify them like that. I think that they all offer their, their challenges and their potentials. And as we go through, I may make a few comments. It may occur to me as we're talking about the specifics of the signs that one can be essentially or accidentally more difficult than the other. So I would pay attention as I go through the series because I may answer that question more in time as I'm thinking about that particular aspect that day, I may have an opinion about that. But I can't think of anything that just bubbles to the surface at the moment. Stay safe. How about, um, what are your thoughts where in regard to, um, like say Saturn in conjunction the Midheaven? Where it's essential nature, like would that qualify with her question or what do you think? That is a good point. When we have a planet that, you know, rules a point and then it is in an accidental aspect that is extremely hard, that can be one of the more difficult things to overcome. That's a very good point, Stacy. It's not so much planetary relationships, but more action planet in relationship to what that action naturally rules that can be a difficult thing. Such as the Ascendant ruler being square, opposite, or inconjunct to itself. Like, you know, Saturn ruling the Ascendant and then being in conjunction to the Ascendant or square to the Ascendant. Those can be more difficult things to to deal with or overcome. Okay. Why is that? Actually, because we have the, let, let's use the Ascendant as an example. Let's use, uh, uh, what's a good, let's, let's use a queen time or your son. Let's see. What did you say? Oh, yeah, a queen comes. I have for example, it's not, not about me, but I always like that. But, um, having, for example, the Ascendant ruler, queen kong to the Ascendant. What would that make? What is the Ascendant ruler for you? What planet is it? Uh, Venus. Okay. So Venus in conjunction to the Ascendant. So it's like, what we are doing at the Ascendant, that that's like the lens that we're looking through. So the Ascendant is represented for you by Venus. So Venus is like the window that you're looking out through, that will color most of your interpretation of reality and involvement in reality. But the action, the actual doing of the Ascendant is not in a consistent relationship to the Ascendant. So we don't get ourselves when we have a planet in hard, and if we may send a ruler in conjunction during a hard aspect of the Ascendant, we don't get ourselves. We don't understand often how other people perceive us because we are looking out the window one way, but the planet is in another sign behaving another way. So we're like, I don't understand why I get those types of interpretations or reactions about me. That's, you know, not how I see myself. So because there's more of this identification with what's going on at the Ascendant, but this doing is like how I see myself and what I'm actually doing are very different. And so we have to come to understand that, um, in conjunctions to the Ascendant do tend to cause quite a bit of a lack of confidence because we don't understand how, you know, why are they interpreted the way that we are. So yeah, it's interesting. I think we have a couple of questions in chat here. Let me see. Oh, okay. And this one here from Tanya. Would a waxing Mars Saturn be easier than a waning one? So we are going to have a specific lesson on waxing and waning, and we'll get into that. So their natural, uh, relationship is waning, isn't that right, Bay? Is that, I'm sorry, is the natural relationship between Mars and Saturn the waning square? For me, I think it is. No, I think just on the wheel, could somebody back me up on that? That's what I'm, I'm thinking here. But again, I'm a little slow today. Because waxing means that it's waxing, is that it gets bigger? Right? Yes. And then the waning is when it's getting smaller. So if you look at the natural wheel, Mars is, um, Saturn is behind and Mars ahead. Oh, you may be right, Tanya. I probably shouldn't try to approach complex questions when I don't have the brain power for it. I will look, and we will have, you know, clarity on that there. So I'm looking at the natural relationship between the two of them. We're going to go through all of that and parse that out. So Bay has, I have Sun opposite Pluto with a trine sextile to Neptune, all exactly five degrees. I've heard trine and sextile planets help blend the opposition. Yes, that is because it's a part of our self that's naturally integrated. It's a part of our self that doesn't have a problem with the other two parts of ourselves that have a problem. So if you look at that like two friends that are in conflict with each other, and then the other friend comes along and they were like, hey, listen, can't you, let's see what this person is saying, and can't you see what this person is saying? And so they bring some kind of resolution. They're like the part of the, the three that has no problem with the other two, and the other two can go to them for support. So we could look at it like, um, let me see if I can look at the planets again that are talked about. Okay, so it's Neptune. So Sun opposite Pluto is where we are dealing with deep issues of disempowerment or how to use our power, our life force, in a steady way. And then there's another part of the personality that is very akin to seeing the bigger picture, allowing some amount of teachability or permeability, compassion into the situation when it comes to dealing with this feeling of, you know, essential disempowerment or, um, you know, feeling squeezed by the crises of life. So there's a certain amount of, uh, appropriate idealism or being able to see the bright side that will happen. And that can give us more energy, more ability to deal with the difficulty like an opposition. So yeah, there's something to that. Okay, um, does anybody else have anything else regarding today? You're welcome, Bill. One question. Awesome, Stacy. And then, well, this is earlier in class when you said your friend had an easy time in relationships and she had pleasant aspects between the Moon, Venus, and Jupiter. I was wondering if you happened to recall what her aspect was that was so easy to deal with. Uh, it was a trine between Venus and the Moon, and then it must have been a trine or a sextile to Neptune or Jupiter. I don't remember exactly, but I do remember that it was all easy and easy signs and easy houses. So, you know, like home signs are signs of exultation and in houses that were very appropriate to have that kind of action really coming into. So not so much career houses as personal areas of life and relationship areas of life and stuff like that. So yeah, sometimes you'll meet some people that, you know, that's just have a very different archetypal view of life and like, I don't know how you can experience that. You know, it's not like how it is for everybody else, but it is for them. Um, you had a question. Yeah, I was wondering about, um, actually the remark of, I think Tanya, about the, um, the phases of an aspect. I think that's very important, right? It is. It is. But wait until I get to that lesson until we get into that, because I'll be able to have a visual that I'll be able to show you. Yeah, and I think you also had like some, um, some videos about that on the, uh, I do the private section, right? Yeah, yeah, yeah. I have a whole aspect list of videos where I go through the minor, minor, minor and the major, major, all of them. And I do talk about opening and closing, waxing and waning in that particular series. Okay, yeah. And it would be useful to maybe go through that before, um, I don't know. We will, we will. I think we're going to start with, well, we're going to talk more about the nuances of what aspects are, how we arrive at aspects, the geometry, the signs that we associate with it. That's going to take a couple of weeks to get through at least. And then I think we'll talk about all the individual aspects, the conjunction to opposition. And we'll be able to talk about waxing and waning at that time. Yeah, and then we'll move on to aspects between planets. And that's going to take us a while because we're going to talk about all of them over the course of time. So, you know, like, you know, Sun aspects to Moon, Moon aspects to Mercury, stuff like that. So it's going to take us a bit of a few months to get through those because just the volume of information. Yeah. And I assume that you then are going to teach us, for example, you know, then we already know like, you know, what the archetype of the Moon and for example, Venus are, and, uh, what easy aspects, like, I don't know, a trine or a sextile may bring, like how that would blend together. So, um, so that we also like know, uh, you know, use our own like brain capacity as well in order to like get to a coherent interpretation of these aspects if we would, for example, see that in a chart. Yeah, we'll be practicing, yeah, along the way. Yeah, yeah. And because we're building a complex machine in these courses, we're building with the simple machines, which is the small things, and putting those together into getting more complex interpretations. Yes. And I had a small question as well, like, do you maybe have some, like book recommendations on, for example, aspects that I know that are, for example, very useful and kind of like thoroughly learning more about? Like, there's several good books, several of them out there. Robert Hand is the old classic. Oh, yeah. Natal Aspect, right? About that. I've heard, like, I think it's transits that he came out with with a new one, but I'm not sure. He may have updated his natal aspect book too, as well. Um, I think it's Sue Tompkins. She wrote one called, I think it's just Aspects. Um, you know, there's a couple of them and they're pretty popular books. Trying to think of the other one. I think it's Planetary Aspects in Astrology is what it's called. Um, I would look on Amazon. I would put in aspects astrology and see what comes up and see which seem to be the most popular ones. They're not all going to be good. I would definitely look at the one from Sue Tompkins. That's some really good stuff there. She has some really good insights. And, um, oh, Elizabeth Donath. Hold on. Let me jump up here and see if I can find this in my book pile. Aspects and Personality. Oh, yeah. She's Dutch. Yeah, this is a great one. She's a psychologist, so she has a really good, good perspective. So let me pick up some questions here in chat. What was that again? What was her name again? Aspects. And I can write that down for you. Karen Hammacker Zone Dog. If you just put it in Aspects and Personality, you'll find it on the internet. Yes, just like the name in the chat. Yeah, it's in the chat there. Oh, excellent. Mila, you were two stops ahead of me. Awesome. Okay, Ellie, sorry if you explained this already. What are conjunctions? Sometimes hard and others easy? We'll get to that when we talk about conjunctions, sweetie. Um, it depends on the planets that are involved. All right. Does anybody else have anything to add? Okay, so we will meet again tomorrow, Monday morning at 10 a.m. And I think we'll do another chart. We'll look at another chart like we did last week to look for, you know, complexes and difficulties. And that might be fun to do along with this course because we can kind of put what we learn into action there. All right. All right. When was I'm not, I was going to ask you a non-astrology question, but I was going to say, like, we're getting a lot of pollen in this area right now. Yeah. Are you taking turmeric? That might be why, like, you're a little foggy. And I keep touching my nose. Oh, you know, I wonder. I've never really had allergies in the past. I'll get a little sniffly around here when it's like, so thick, it's coating the cars, which it does. I mean, everything turns yellow around here, and it's it's normal. Um, yeah, and I'm not so sure, uh, exactly what it is. It's all right. A little bit better. Claudina, did you have a question? Yeah, sorry. When is the next class? I, I missed what you just said. We meet Mondays at 10 a.m. And, um, we're just talking right now on Mondays, looking at different charts for different difficulties and what could be considered complexes or, um, uh, you know, psychological problems. Okay, thank you. So that's tomorrow at 10 a.m. And then we have a live coming up on Tuesday, I believe. All right, guys, so until tomorrow. Alrighty. Thank you. You're welcome. Bye.
