I got to do 280 in 7 hours, which is $40 an hour, which means every single trip, if it's a, you know, a 15-minute trip, I got to do like a $10 per 15-minute trip, give or take. Uh, these are all short trips here in Ithaca. Um, there were surges all day this morning, but now on a Saturday night, it's going to be so crowded with Uber drivers. Um, it's going to be impossible. I'm going to be lucky to make $200 tonight. Four trips, zero tips, traffic everywhere. Um, no surges.
We are an hour in and we've done two trips. We need to do 17 in four hours and we've only done two. Do it. We are washing Levi's car tonight. Wait a second. Why am I driving when I can have AI Elon do it for me? 2 hours in $18. We've done four deliveries. We're not going to get our promo. 8:00, 3 hours in, and we are at $50.
Okay, we're about halfway through the night. Um, I've got a couple of good tips. I might get another one. Um, had the same passenger twice. But the weird thing is this. Everybody is ordering Uber X Priority. Everybody is. I bet you more than half my rides are Priority. I think I'm on track to do about 230, 240. If I need this next half, cuz we're halfway through this next half to crush it, I might I might have a chance. 9:01 p.m. So, we only got 26 out of the 40 plus dollars in promotions. Unfortunate, but we are at 126. We are at $30 an hour. I've been keeping an eye on the surge map and it looks like there hasn't been any surges, but hope If Levi gets any tips, he's going to be super ahead right now. So, we have another set of promotions going. We need to do 14 deliveries in 3 hours. We're going to have to get it. So, we got about an hour and a half left. I'm at $220 something dollars. So, whenever I do Uber Eats, it's always the busier, high paying times, and I use it to catch up on promos. Let's say I have 30 minutes left and I had to do three rides. You can't do three rides in 30 minutes. I'll turn on Uber Eats and I'll get a triple stack. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. So, that's how I expected it the whole night, right? Didn't do that. I had a one good hour where I did like five or six deliveries. Oh, dang. And then the rest were just number one, I don't have commitment issues, so I don't cancel. Yeah. Yeah. It's the gamblers's fallacy. I've waited this long, I can wait a little bit longer. Yeah. Opportunity, sunk cost. Yes. Yeah. Uh so um so that was my first mistake. My second mistake, I don't know. I don't I don't even know at this point.
