What Have You Said No To Lately?

What's up, brother? How you doing? My question is, what do you look for as far as going all in on one parts of your business?

Honestly, I watch a lot of Steve Jobs for this stuff. His definition I really like, which was like he would ask his executives all the time. He said, "What have you said no to lately?" That's what he would start his conversation. What have you said no to lately?

And he said that and in talking to the executives, they're like I used to just like throw him fodder that like he's like, "But those were easy nos." He's like, "What's something that you wanted to do in like your core that you were so excited about that you said no to? That's what I want to know because that's how dedicated he was to making sure the one thing that mattered most happened.

This is everyone here's job at the end of the day is being able to say there's 10 things that I really want to do and they will all make us more money but there all of these have contingencies like this will happen if this happens and this could happen if this happens but there's usually a one domino that if this one doesn't happen none of these matter. It's trying to identify what is that one thing that if only that thing happened by the end of the year, the rest of our goals would either shrink into irrelevance or accomplish themselves on their own. And I spend a lot of time trying to make sure that I get that one thing right.
