If you're in a fantasy football league and you want to win that league, you're in the right place cuz I'm going to help you do just that. If you're not familiar, I'm Salvetri. I've helped over 10,000 people win their fantasy leagues the last few years alone. And I plan to do the same for you with this video.
We are going to break down the rookies you should be taking in fantasy football because right now I see people taking the wrong guys. And I really want to start with Chris Bell, the Miami Dolphins wide receiver. They took him in the third round out of Louisville. We've talked about him before. He's a 6'2, 222 lb wide receiver. And the reason I want to talk about him, if you don't already know, he's tore his ACL in December. He probably would have ran maybe in the four threes. He was going to be an athletic freak. Some people say he's AJ Brown, probably not that good, but a similar size speed player.
Now, based on his average draft position, this is according to Fantasy Sharks or Draft Sharks. Right now, you can see that he goes 228th overall. That is absurd. Now, in terms of some other rookies, whether it's rookie drafts for fantasy or like I'm showing right here, reddraft ADP, specifically guys like, oh, I don't know, Eli Sters of the Philadelphia Eagles is going like almost 100 picks before Chris Bell. This is completely wrong in my opinion.
Now, let's break this down. If you're not familiar, Chris Bell again, he ended up going to Louisville. Last year at Louisville was his best season. He continued all four years of college, as you can see, from 2022 to only having seven catches. He slowly ramped up both his receptions, his target earning ability and his receiving yards all the way until this past year where he was dominating through the first 11 games of the season, almost a thousand yards, career-high 26.6% target share. He looked awesome out there and then he ended up unfortunately tearing his ACL.
Now, he's reportedly ahead of schedule on the ACL tear. He's been sprinting. He'll be ideally it's like a 9 to 10 month recovery if it was a clean ACL tear. And if that's the case, he should be ready for week one. We're too far out to know like exactly if he's going to be ready for that day.
Now, let's look at some of the game logs. Like you might say, oh, he played at Louisville, didn't face the toughest competition. Well, when he faced his toughest competition last year, he balled out. A match up against Pit ended up being a ranked team at the end of the year. 10 catches, 135 yards. Virginia, a ranked team, 12 catches, 170 yards. And Miami, one of the best teams, arguably the best team in the country with Indiana, that's why they were in the college football championship. Nine catches, 136 yards. Not many players, really no other player besides Jeremiah Smith, the best wide receiver in college football, was able to do that to Miami's defense. Put up a massive performance of over a 100 yards.
So, these are the positives as to why Chris Bell went in the third round of the NFL draft. If he didn't tear his ACL, if he was healthy, he probably would have been a slam dunk second round pick. And who knows, maybe he would have gotten hyped up into the first round if he would have tested well.
So Chris Bell now lands on a Miami Dolphins depth chart that if we look at this depth chart according to our lads right here. You can see this is the left wide receiver position, the right and the slot wide receiver. This starting wide receiver room is Jaylen Tolbert. They got him as a free agent comes from Dallas. Uh 22 Atwell free agent comes from the Rams and Malik Washington who they ended up drafting in the sixth round in a past draft. So those are the starting wide receivers. You could then see all the rookies they drafted as bench depth. Chris Bell, Caleb Douglas also a third round pick. fifth rounder uh Kevin uh Coleman as well. They have some other guys on this team I believe like Terrace Marshall Jr. former Carolina Panther, but for the most part, their best wide receiver on this team is probably like Jaylen Tolbert. There's not much competition here for Chris Bell to get into the starting lineup if he can get healthy a couple of weeks into the season.
I mean, more specifically, like when you look at the production of these guys last year, Taj Washington, uh Jaylen Tolbert, Tutu Atwell, who we mentioned, Malik Washington, the most receiving yards any of them had, Nick Westbrook, by the way, this is according to player profile. no longer on the team. He's now on the Colts, so you could ignore him. But Malik Washington barely cracked 300 yards last year. He has the most receiving yards out of any wide receiver currently in the wide receiver room um for the Miami Dolphins. If you look at 2025 stats, so yeah, pretty low bar to clear for any of these rookies, especially Chris Bell. I think their most talented rookie out of the three they took in this year's draft class. Plenty of opportunity for them to make a name for themselves in year one.
You also get a nice combination of Chris Bell, who is a big body target at 220 plus pounds, a contested catch guy. He has the speed that pairs pretty well with Malik Willis. Malik Willis is a guy who wants to use his big arm, also use his bigger frame of 220 plus pounds and throw the ball downfield. We saw him do it successfully during limited action, especially that Ravens game last year as a member uh of the Green Bay Packers. So, this starts to get pretty interesting.
Now, when I pull up Eli Sters, the situation for Eli Sters, the Eagles second round draft pick, who I think is really good for the Eagles, like longterm, right? They bring back Dallas Scottd on a one-year deal. They have Eli Sters who could probably play like slot wide receiver until Dallas Guyder ends up leaving next year, maybe even take the starting tight end job. The problem for Eli Sters is unlike Chris Bell who's going to maybe be like the number one wide receiver at some point this season, that's just never going to be the case for Eli Sters. We could assume for the purposes of this video that AJ Brown will indeed be traded after June 1st, as has been indicated in reports and based on all the Eagles moves this off season, probably gone. So Devonte Smith is there. He's the clear number one on this team. After that, you have Mai Lemon, who they took in the first round. He's going to be starting in the wide receiver position. Maybe Dantavian Wixs is the wide receiver three. And then if you pull it up right here, Dallas Goddard should be the starting tight end to start the season.
So Eli Sters, although he should be on the field as a second round pick and he's highly talented, maybe he works out of some three wide receiver sets as a slot wide receiver. Definitely on the field in two tight end formations. The problem for him compared to a Chris Bell who's going almost 100 picks later in fantasy drafts. I get it. He's on a better team with the Philadelphia Eagles. Has a better quarterback situation uh in Jaylen Herz compared to Malik Willis. Although some might argue that he just has so much more target competition in year one. And he's also playing a tight end position that's harder to develop right away in the NFL, at least from a fantasy perspective, because you have to block, you have to know where you have to be, rotation, motion, all this stuff.
So, for all these reasons, I think that you should be drafting Chris Bell in your rookie drafts for Dynasty in in reddraft leagues ahead of Eli Sters. But that's not necessarily the case right now. I think he should only rise as the process goes on. Once again, you could see Chris Bell at least for reddraft purposes, he goes after Sourers and Dynasty formats as well, but for reddraft purposes, 228th overall going undrafted. I mean, going after guys like Elijah Sherat, the second wide receiver they took rookie in the draft for the Ravens. Ryan Florenoi, who's going to be at best the wide receiver three for the Dallas Cowboys, assuming George Pickins doesn't get traded or hold out, right? These types of things just pretty crazy. Darnell Mooney maybe like the wide receiver too, but you could easily tell me he's also the wide receiver for on the New York Giants as well. So, just give me Chris Bell. I think there's more upside there. I am very aware of the injury. I don't like drafting injured players, but he should be ready by week one or two. Younger players should also recover uh relatively quickly compared to older players.
Next up, let's go to another rookie tight end. We talked about Eli Sters. Let's talk about Kenyan Sadik. He ends up getting drafted by the Jets. 16th overall pick in the first round. Pretty similar to where he was being mocked, just not necessarily this team. a 21-year-old who absolutely tore up the NFL combine, weighing in at 6'3", 241 pounds, and was just an unbelievable freak athlete. 439 40 time at 240 pounds. I mean, there's some running backs at like 190 pounds who aren't hitting in the 4-3s. Absurd speed, top 1%. The birth score, those are his jumps, top 1%. Catch radius is off the charts. Everything for Kenyan Sadi checked out. You can see his Raz score, his relative athletic score. It's just a way to compare all athletes. Um, absolutely fantastic as well. The only thing he did poor for the tight end position was be a little bit undersized, like 241 pounds. But that's just kind of the way that he plays as like a tweener slot wide receiver/tight end. Like he's not this 260lb blocking tight end. But you can see the 40-yard dash 10 out of 10. That's top 1% of all time. His 10 yard split was also elite 9.9 out of 10 in the vertical and broad jump off the charts. So this is a player who's an absolute freak. He gets the draft capital. He reminds me in some ways of like the Kyle Pittz athletic freak. Although Pitts went a lot earlier in the draft in the first round, but just that similar build of like are you a tight end, are you a wide receiver?
And you can see Kenyan Sadique in reddraft leagues right now goes as the 121st overall player. In dynasty formats, especially rookie drafts, he goes backtoback with his rookie wide receiver Omar Cooper. Cooper usually is going ahead of Kenyan Sadi. I would prefer Kenyan Sadique. I think you should be taking him over Omar Cooper. And I think you should be taking him over Omar Cooper in all formats. Whether it's reddraft, whether it's dynasty rookie, whether it's just dynasty upstart leagues, right?
So Kenny Sadique college stats, you're going to look at these and go, "Oh, those aren't anything crazy." In his 14 games last year, 51 catches, 516 yards, just a 16% target share. Go watch the film. This guy was fantastic. He was playing in a in an Oregon offense that spread the ball around. But just watch the film on Kenyan Sadi in those 14 games last year. in the 13 games the year before that uh in 2024 when he only had 308 yards, you could see the flashes and then he takes a step forward um as some people leave the program and he's able to put up 560 yards by far a careerhigh. And now you start to look at this. He goes in the first round, one of three first round picks for the Jets, who absolutely nailed um their draft in general, but definitely the first round picks for them. And you can see exactly what this wide receiver room and pass catch room is starting to look like.
In terms of the tight end position, they're loaded. Mason Taylor last year as a second round pick was awesome for the team, but he was a second round pick. Kenyan Sadique as a top 20 pick overall probably going to get on the field ahead of Mason Taylor or at least push him early on in the season. But then if we look at the wide receivers, the wide receiver room on the outside looks pretty obvious at least based on who they currently have. Garrett Wilson coming off uh coming back from an injury from last year. Adam Mitchell who looked good for this team towards the end of the season last year. And then Omar Cooper, the other rookie wide receiver, should start in the slot. That's where he did basically all of his damage last year with Indiana. the year before that in 2024, he proved he could also be an outside wide receiver. But at least to start the season, Omar Cooper, he's not gonna outtarget Garrett Wilson. I wouldn't be shocked if he doesn't outtarget Adai Mitchell, who last year was earning consistent target shares to end the year, especially with Garrett Wilson banged up.
So, if you're going to tell me that Omar Cooper to start the season is at best second, but probably third in the pecking order amongst wide receivers, whereas Kenyan Sadi could easily be the starting tight end to start the year based on just the talent, the athleticism, the draft capital. I'm just going to take the starting player in the same offense in Kenyon Sad. Then you factor in that Gino Smith is there. Of course, this is going to help everybody in the Jets offense, but I do think Gino Smith has showed some favoritism to the tight end position when he actually has a quality tight end. Really hard to judge his performance last year with the Raiders. A terrible offense. Brock Bowers got hurt early on, but when Brock Bowers was healthy, those guys were dialed in and connected. So, although I think Omar Cooper is insanely talented, maybe he got pushed up a little bit earlier than he should have gone with them trading back in the first round to take him. I think he's definitely an electric player with the ball in his hands. I just prefer the tight end, the onesie position, and Kenyan Sadi here at the rookies.
If we're choosing in a rookie draft or even reddraft purposes, specifically for rookie ADP, according to Fantasy Pros, you can see they go neck andneck right here. Kenyan Sadi number seven, Omar Cooper number eight. I definitely want to be taking Sadi over Omar Cooper as it stands right now.

All right, next up, let's talk about an older prospect. A 23-year-old will be almost 24. He will at some point in his rookie season. And Dejon Stribbling out of Old Miss. This was a player who was the first pick in the second round to the San Francisco 49ers. A lot of people thought that they reached on this, but he was ramping up to be at worst a third round pick, probably a second round pick as he was getting a lot of hype uh towards the end of the pre-draft process. 6'2, 207 pounds. also had a nice NFL combine showing a 43640 time, right? A 43640 time when you're going to be an over 200 pound wide receiver is very good. You put an above average burst, above average catch radius, things start to look good for Dean Shribbling, who currently goes as the 240th overall player. Whoops. In terms of draft sharks ADP, 240th overall is crazy. Um, he's going after some guys that I definitely would not be taking him after. like a Chris Brazzle, like a Malachi Fields, like a Max Clara, a Michael Tri at the tight end position who are also rookies, right? So, not only in reddraft is he going out after guys like Chris Brazzle, who ended up being on the Carolina Panthers, he's a nice speedster, also ran in the 43s, but even in rookie drafts, he's going after Chris Brazzle, and I definitely don't agree with that from a dynasty perspective.
If you're not familiar with Deshun Shribling, I mean, he had solid production the past two seasons, almost 900 receiving yards. Last year at Old Miss, 811 receiving yards, 50 plus catches. Like, the production was fine. the film, some stuff to be desired, but overall a quality player. Again, that's why the 49ers took him earlier. And he has your ex wide receiver build, 200 plus pounds, vertical speed, maybe a somewhat undersized X, but that's definitely the position position that he'll be playing in the NFL. And like in terms of his best games of the year, they always came against some of the tougher competition, right? You scroll down here, he's facing a top 10 Georgia team, three catches, 96 yards, and a touchdown. You scroll down a little bit more, a ranked two lane team, five catches, 79 yards. He ends up going to the college football playoff he gets Georgia again for seven catches 122 yards and then he gets Miami for five catches 77 yards. So at Old Miss you're facing some of the tougher competition and in the college football playoffs he also had to see those teams in Georgia and Miami and he succeeded and that's why for some people they said that they 49ers ended up reaching their first pick in the draft 33rd overall. They traded back down the John Stripling wide receiver out of Old Miss.
Now here's the thing when you look at this depth chart he's probably not going to be a starting wide receiver to start the season. Mike Evans if healthy will definitely be starting. The big free agent signing Ricky Piol if healthy which is a big if for Ricky Piol will definitely be starting. And then in the slot they signed the veteran Christian Kirk who has been a talented slot wide receiver in his career. So Desh John Shribling as an ex outside receiver is probably going to be the direct backup to a Mike Evans or potentially be a direct backup to a Ricky Pearson. Now sure that's not the greatest sign because the path to starting reps in year one isn't all that perfect on paper. But then you actually think about this. Mike Evans, Ricky Pearl, what do these guys have in common the past two seasons in the NFL? They're always injured. Mike Evans dealing with hamstring injuries each of the past five years. Significant ones that caused him to miss weeks, months at times over the past two years. Ricky Pearl, hamstrings, ankles, lower body, knee, whatever it might be, Ricky Piol has been dealing with those injuries as well. So if these are the two guys ahead of Deshawn Stribbling, I'm not all that concerned with the John Stribbling. They spent early second round draft capital on him. One of those two guys probably will miss at least a game this year, especially an aging Mike Evans. Even if he doesn't, Stribbling will be rotating in and then as soon as next year should enter potentially being the ex wide receiver for Brock Pery. And that's a beneficial spot to be in. I mean, we've seen for small glimpses, Brandon Aayuk in that role was dominant. Jawan Jennings at points in that role was also dominant. We've seen at times when players can stay healthy like Ricky Pieraw with Brock Perie always managing to be a very efficient quarterback. If you look over the seasons, all Brock Party does is produce. 69% completion rate in two's last three seasons. Uh in terms of yards per attempt, always above average, 9.6, 8.5, 7.6. The NFL average is like around 7.2. So well above average, highly efficient quarterback. Kyle Shanahan offense. I start to actually like Dean Stribbling from a dynasty perspective. And also he's kind of like we don't talk about handcuffs for wide receivers in fantasy football, but he is like the perfect handcuff. Two injury-prone wide receivers ahead of him in a quality offense. he would be the next man up as opposed to a Chris Brazzle who in my opinion he got third round capital he's a talented player he has a lot of speed right the 22-year-old out of Tennessee but in my opinion you can see the speed here 437 speed is good for a 6'4 I believe he is he 6'5 6'4 wide receiver like that's really good speed kind of a unicorn size speed comparison but overall like not as good of an offense Carolina Panthers nowhere near as good as Ky Shanahan in my opinion not as good of a quarterback I definitely want Brock party over Bryce Young in my opinion and also like the wide receiver room although it's not great in Carolina. He's never going to be the number one option then. He won't be the number one option this year. He won't be the number one option next year or the year after that because Tedo McMillan has five years, the rookie contract, first round from last year. He was great last year uh despite this offense not being the greatest, right? So, do I think Chris Brazzle can start in this offense? Well, I think it's going to be McMillan. I think it's going to be Coker in the slot in the slot and then he's going to have to compete with Xavier Legette who hasn't been great the first two years, has battled injuries, but he's going to have a camp battle just to get in the starting lineup. Now, do I think in year one Chris Brazil has a better path to starting some games compared to John Shribbling? Sure. Yes. I don't think Shribbling's beating out Mike Evans and Ricky Pierce in camp, whereas Brazil could beat out an Xavier Legett in camp. But if we're talking as soon as next year, I definitely want Stribbling uh from a dynasty perspective over Chris Brazil. And if we're talking this year as well, like overall upside for the offense that they're in, if Stribbling can get on the field, uh barring an injury or or maybe just his talent in general, I like the upside there compared to a Chris Brazil. Like sometimes it's just simple fantasy football analysis, right? Target competition plus quarterback, right? Bryce Young, they want him to be the guy. Who knows if he'll be the guy. Uh who knows if he'll even be the quarterback of the future for this team. Uh I don't know at this point, right? This is kind of a make or break year potentially for Bryce Young. Whereas Deon Stribbling, much better quarterback situation, much better offense. I want to be targeting him and I also want to be targeting Antonio Williams, another rookie. This one out of Clemson, slot wide receiver, slot demon type player. I want to take him over guys like Jeremy Bernard who are currently going ahead of him based on ADPs in rookie drafts. If you're talking about a average draft positions in reddraft leagues, Antonio Williams currently goes 175th overall. That's about as rich as a price as I would want to be paying. You could see Denzel Boston's in a similar range for some of these rookie wide receivers. Omar Cooper makes a lot of sense when those guys were taking a little bit earlier in the first and second round than um an Antonio Williams who if you look at it right here had the third round draft capital out of Clemson 21-year-old wide receiver. But I think Antonio Williams has legitimate juice. And I think there's a real world where week one he's the wide receiver too on this commander team behind Ty Mclo. You can check out the juice right here. No one was expecting him, including myself, to run almost in the four threes at the combine. Ran a 441 40 time. His burst was great. 85th percentile for the jumps, the broad and vertical jump. That's awesome. Terms of college production the last two years at Clemson, 92 yards, 604 yards in a game, a season where he only played 10 games due to some banged up injuries and Clemson not making the college football playoff. Kind of falling apart in general. But you could see Antonio Williams lands as a third round pick, the second pick for the Commanders in this draft class. So they had Sunny Styles top 10 overall. After that, they spend their next pick. They didn't have a second round pick. They didn't have a fourth round pick. They spend their next pick on the wide receiver position. This was a team that definitely needed wide receiver help. They were about to walk into this year with secondyear player Luke McAffrey coming off of a season ending injury. Trayon Burks who has never panned out in the NFL behind Terry McLaren. For Jayen Daniels, that's a concern. Like you have to replace Debo Samuel and to a lesser extent Zack Herz in this offense. They replace Zack Z with Chika Conquer the tight end, but Debo Samuel basically replaced with Antonio Williams who should be the starting slot wide receiver from day one in my opinion. This is the hourlads dep chart. They currently have him penciled in uh not permanent ink but pencile in as the slot wide receiver for this team and it makes a lot of sense. Like it's just uh Terry McLaren. They brought back Brown this off seasonason. Okay, sure. Like if we look at the commanders offseason moves according to the uh team changes tracker in the fantasy blueprint. You can check it out at join thebloopprint.com. As I mentioned, they brought in Chikanku. They brought in wide receivers Brown, Van Jefferson, sort of journeyman wide receivers. Diami Brown was drafted by this team. He ends up coming back after a stint with the Jacksonville Jaguars. But then Antonio Williams in the draft in the third round is really the big piece here. He'll probably be the guy who soaks up those 170 plus targets left from Zack Z and left from the Bos Samuel. Now, of course, there's the rumors about Brandon Iayuk, but I don't think Brandon Aayuk is going to be released from the 49ers until they have to release him, which is September 1st, which gives him no time to practice, which is this with this team, which if he even does join this team, he's probably not going to be ramped up until a couple weeks into the season. And either way, even if Brandon does join the team, we'd have no idea what this guy looks like. We haven't seen him play football healthy in like two years at this point. Even if he is decent and he does start, Antonio Williams should be the starting slot wide receiver still for Jaden Daniels, which is a valuable role in this offense.
Now, if we compare that to Jeremy Bernard, who's currently going ahead of Antonio Williams in rookie drafts, which I don't agree with from a dynasty perspective. Um, Antonio Williams goes ahead of Bernard in reaff, which I do agree with. Jeremy Bernard, like, sure, like second round capital, that's solid. Goes for the Steelers, out of Alabama, has the pedigree, does a lot of things, right? Um, but in general, like DK Mack still there, making $30 million a year. They traded for Michael Pitman. And you could tell me, oh, they didn't have to do that much to acquire Michael Pitman. It was basically just take on his salary. They had to flip like a sixth and a seventh round pick with the Colts. I get it, right? But it's not like Michael Pitman is bad. The Colts just couldn't pay him. They knew that they ended up having to pay Alec Pierce, the younger wide receiver. They gave all the money to. So they ended up trading Michael Pitman in his contract away. So whatever you think about Michael Pitman, right, he's going to be a factor for the Colts. He's a good wide receiver. There's DK Maf, there's Michael Pitman, and then there's Jeremy Bernard, right? You might like Jeremy Bernard enough to say that he's like the most reliable receiver on this team right away. He's like gonna be the chain mover. Maybe. I still think that's Michael Pitman. I think the big play threat is DK Mechaf. But even if you think Jeremy Bernard is gonna be a valuable piece to this Steelers offense, like who's throwing him the ball? It seems like it's going to be Aaron Rogers. But like, is that even good, this version of Aaron Rogers? After that, you have still Mason Rudolph on this team, Will Howard, Drew Ar. Like, overall, target competition is tough in year one for Jeremy Bernard. And overall, the quarterback situ situation at best, Aaron Rogers in probably the last year of his career. Is that really what we want to be betting on here? I'm not so much. I'm not sure. So, sure. I love it. compared to Antonio Williams starting role with Jaden Daniels.

Next up, let's talk about a great wide receiver prospect in Casey Conpion, who landed on the Cleveland Browns. The 6'9B wide receiver who transferred to Texas A&M last year and had the best year of his career is now a Cleveland Brown. You can see last season 919 yards. Also some return yards in there. There are also some rushing yards in there that aren't accounted for in this 919 receiving yards. Uh first season of over a 100 targets since his freshman year at NC State and a 26% target share. All this guy did in college, Casey Conception, was earn targets. Freshman year at NC State, 28% target share. Following year, 23% and this past season, he ended it with a 26% target share. In this toughest competition he ever faced, he still dominated with his best season despite being in the SEC.
Now, I like Casey Conception a lot. In reddraft leagues, he's currently going 145th overall. I would consider him a solid value there. And in your fantasy or dynasty formats in terms of rookie leagues, he's currently going as like a top five, top six pick, he usually goes neck andneck. And I'll pull it up right now with Jadarian Price. You can see that right here. Jadarian Price in terms of rookie ADP right now in fantasy pros. Goes fourth overall after Jeremiah Love, Cardinal Tate, Jordan Tyson. Then it goes Jadarian Price in your rookie draft for dynasty. Mai Lemon and Casey Conception. I personally am taking Casey Conpion over Jadarian Price. Now I know it's crazy. Running backs hold a lot of value. Running backs, especially in the first round, like a Jarian Price, have a lot of upside. But those later first round picks like a Jarian Price usually don't pan out. Your Sony Michelle's, your Clyde Edwards, right? These types of guys. Rashad Pennies. More on Jadarian Price in his second, but specifically why I like Casey Conception.
I mean, first off, against his he the guy just had a gauntlet of competition last year. Top 10 Notre Dame team, four catches, 82 yards. A tough Auburn team, seven catches, 113 yards. Like, he's facing the best of the best. a Florida team on the road at Arkansas, right? LSU a top 20 team, a ranked Missou team, four catches, 84 yards. A good South Carolina team, seven catches, 158 yards. Punt return touchdowns in some key games as well. Um, against Texas, five catches, 57 yards, add some rushing yards. Like, this was a guy who was going up against the best of the best, not only in college competition, but guys who were going from defense in college to being NFL players this year, as soon as this year, talking about guys on Georgia, Texas, LSU, right? Uh, and he held his own, more than held his own. You can see right here, Matt Harmon of reception perception. Let me see if I can pull this up bigger for you. There we go. Uh he charts every wide receiver or at least like 30 plus wide receivers from this year's draft class. He watches all their tape and he charts them. He said Casey Conception among the wide receivers I charted for this draft class. So you're talking about 30 plus wide receivers or so. Number one in success rate verse man coverage, so dominates man. Number three in success rate vers zone coverage. Oh, he also dominates zone. Number one against press coverage. Oh, okay. So he dominates press. He's not just this gadget guy. He can win on the outside. Number four in contested catches. When people talk about Casey Conception, they talk about slot demon, short to intermediate, great after the catch. Some people say gadget guy. I see maybe the best route runner in the class, according to Matt Harmon, the best in terms of man coverage, press coverage, and top five in contested catches despite not being this big 220 lb, 6'5 wide receiver. That's very impressive.
Casey Conception's landing spot when you look at the quarterback situation this year for the Browns of either Shador Sanders, Dylan Gabriel, or now the rumors of it potentially going back to Deshun Watson, which doesn't feel great. The last time we saw him, he put up one of the worst quarterback seasons we've seen in like the last 20 years, right? The last time that we saw Deshun Watson after not playing a game at all last year and his seven games in 2024 was just, I mean, pitiful. 5.3 yards per attempt was pretty gross overall. Everything just stunk for him. Career low 5.3 yards per attempt. Now, we haven't seen him play a game of football in almost two years, so that's a concern. But in terms of Casey Conception, like the target share right away, Jerry Judy probably isn't on this team next year. I would be shocked if he's like a surprise cut this year. I'd be surprised but not totally shocked after that though. Like who's the wide receiver competition here? Cedric Kilman coming off of a season ending injury. I'm not concerned about that. In my opinion, they just drafted in the second round. Cedric Kilman's replacement in Denzel Boston. Um I think that you're going to get a wide receiver room of Jerry Judy uh in the slot or potentially outwide. Casey Conception in the slot are out wide. Uh and then a camp battle between Cedric Tilman and Denzel Boston. I think Denzel Boston either wins that right away or a couple of weeks into the season. I'm not concerned about Jerry Judy being the toughest target competition for Casey Conception. Oh, and by the way, David and Jooko is no longer on this team. And in some ways, like we could use the copout analysis, as Warren Sharp puts here, Brown's quarterbacks last year were terrible. We could use the analysis of it can't get any better. They were dead last in completion percentage or can't get any worse. Uh maybe maybe it can't get any better either, but it can't get any worse literally by the numbers. Dead last in completion percentage, dead last in yards per attempt, dead last in interception rate last year. So, the Browns quarterback situation in those categories was literally dead last in the NFL last year. It literally can't get worse. It's at rock bottom. Even if Deshun Watson or Shador Sanders can just be like the 24th or 25th best quarterback in the league, Casey Conception should have a solid rookie year, especially based on where he's going in current drafts.
Now, we compare that to Jadarian Price. Uh, in reddraft, I definitely want Jadarian Price, right? But if we're talking from like a dynasty lens or at least a rookie draft, let me say this better. Now, we compare that to Jadarian Price. Now, if you're talking about reddraft, sure, take the running back Jaren Price in like the sixth round or whatever it is over Casey Conpion for now. But if you're talking about from like a dynasty perspective, rookie draft, I just want Casey Conpion more. Like overall, Jadarian Price never was a starting running back in college. We know that because he sat behind Jeremiah Love. Now, the NFL believes in him. They spent first on Draft Capital on him, the second running back off the board behind Jeremiah Love. But like Jadariian Price was never the guy in college. He was efficient. He put up good film. He broke tackles. But what he did not do and that we really care about for fantasy football, he didn't catch passes. Over the last two years combined, he had just 10 total receptions. We don't know if he can catch passes at all. Also, the Seattle Seahawks offense doesn't have Clint Kubak, the guy who made them, according to PFF, have the number one rushing offense in the NFL last year. That's gone. The offensive coordinator who manufactured that is now gone. And sure, to start the season, this is why we like him in reddraft for the first couple of months of the year. Jadarian Price, the first round pick, should be the RB1 when your competition is George Hani and Emanuel Wilson. But there's no doubt about it that you might see at some point this year, as soon as week 12, Zack Sharon could come back, take the job back, muck things up for Jadarian Price. If we're being honest, I do believe Jadearian Price will be the RB1 on this team. I just don't know how good the run game will be. I don't know how long he'll hold that job with Zack Sharon coming back, not just this year, but in future years. Whereas, I feel a lot more confident that Casey Conpion will be a starter, if not the number one receiver right away for whoever the Browns quarterback is this year and in the future. That's how good I think Casey Conpion is. I think Jadarian Price is solid. I think Casey Conception is a next level type wide receiver prospect and wouldn't be shocked if we look back on it and he ends up being the best wide receiver in this class ahead of Carl Tate, Mai Lemon, and Jordan Tyson.
So, these are the rookies you should be drafting instead of the ones that everybody else is drafting. I appreciate you all tuning in.
