[Applause] [Music] Hi, it's Robin Chararma and welcome to video number four in this training series that I have worked so hard to put together for you so you become the hero of your own life.
And you know, I want to get a little philosophical at the beginning of this fourth training video and remind you about the shortness of life. You know, even the longest life, and I really wish you and your loved ones an incredibly productive and fulfilling and long life, but even the longest life is a really short ride.
I was reading a book a little while ago called Chasing Daylight, and it was the story of Eugene Kelly, and he was the global CEO of KPMG Worldwide. And he went into his doctor's office and the doctor gave him news and it was the kind of news none of us ever wants to hear when we go to our doctor's office for a routine checkup. And the doctor said, "Uh, you know, Jean, you've got 90 days left to live" because he had a brain tumor that was incurable. And the book describes how he realized in those last 90 days of his life, he'd never taken his wife to lunch in all those years. He was a hard-charging executive. He'd never, he'd missed a lot of Christmas concerts that his daughter had been at. He'd never taken long walks with his best friends through the woods and just laughed.
And we do live in a world where we can get really busy and distracted around the wrong things. But, you know, let me ask you, what's the point of spending your life climbing these mountains only to realize at the last hour of your last day, you've climbed the wrong mountains?
And so, video number four, this video is incredibly important because I want to ask you a question straight from my heart to your heart.
