Jacobo Grinberg wasn't a mystic hiding behind candles and incense. He was a scientist, one of Mexico's brightest minds. He was born in 1946, trained at the National Autonomous University of Mexico. Grinberg earned his doctorate in psychophysiology in New York before returning home with a question that wouldn't let him sleep. What is consciousness made of? He built the Institute for the study of consciousness at UNAM, a place where electrodes met the unknown. By day he measured brain waves. By night he spoke with shamans who claimed to bend reality with thought. To him there was no war between science and spirit. They were two maps of the same invisible territory. One written in equations, the other in symbols. But what did he mean by that? Beneath those words was an idea so radical it could rewrite science itself. Jacobo Grinberg believed that what we call reality is only a pattern formed on a deeper invisible fabric. He called it theory of syggy a fusion of synthesis and laorica. He affirms that the human brain is capable of distorting the structure of the lattice in the most complex way known in the universe. In this chamber, we invited a series of couples, we always worked with, uh, couples, to sit comfortably, close their eyes, not speak, not touch each other. And in this situation of absence of stimulation, the only thing that existed was the presence of one another. Sooner or later, what these two people began to feel was precisely this, the presence of one another, until a moment arrived when the sensation of most of them was that they were in direct contact. There are interactions in such a way that, just as there is a network of interneuronal interactions, we can assume the existence of a network of intercerebral interactions, and this would allow us to assume the possibility of the existence of an organism that arises from these intercerebral interactions. An organism, what does an organism mean? A level of activity that transcends us as individuals, of which we are a part and very likely which is affecting us and we are affecting. What could perhaps be the structural or physiological basis of the new physiology of planetary consciousness, of a state of consciousness that includes us, that we are continuously feeding, and that is definitely affecting us, because we could say, well, this network of intercerebral interactions, in some way, as the experiment shows, is affecting our brain activity, therefore, we are receiving information. describing how thought could ripple through the matrix of space itself. They always had this characteristic where it seemed that Pachita was located as a sentient being, as a sensitive being, on a level of reality where what she desired occurred. Uh, well, there was no apparent mechanism, right, between her desire and the realization of the desire. And her desire, if her desire was to materialize an object, the object would appear magically out of nowhere, or if her desire was to make it disappear, that also, uh, occurred.
