So, I, um, uh, I mean, I, I come home and I began to put teachings on the court of heaven together, 'cause God just started opening my understanding and giving me revelation. The people in South Africa wanted me to come back. So, I went back to South Africa. And when I got back, they, I thought, "What am I going to teach them?" Because it's like a school setting. And I thought, "What am I going to teach them? These people." This is what I, what I, how I felt. I said, "These people are my spiritual superiors. What in the world am I going to tell them?"
And so I thought, "Well, out of lack of nothing else to do." I thought, "I'll teach them on the court of heaven." Because I know they already know it, assuming they do it. But at least it'll be confirming to them, I hope. And so I get up and I do a couple of sessions. When I get through with the second session or so, the lady that led the ministry looked at me and said, "Um, would you come with me, please?" And I thought, "Oh, no. I am in trouble. I've done messed up. I don't know if she's going to tell me, 'You don't have a clue what you're talking about.'"
And so we're walking toward the green room. And just, just she and I. As we're walking toward the green room, she looks at me and she says, "You make me feel like a fool." And I mean, I suddenly felt, I mean, like I was, I was concerned. I said, "Why?" And she said, "Because you're giving us language for what we've been doing for 20 years but couldn't explain." And when she said that, I thought, "I've got a hold of something." I thought, "If these people don't know, nobody knows. Nobody knows." And so that was like motivation just to keep pushing and seeking and and and coming to understanding. And that's where all the, I, I, I, I think they told me I'd have 30 books. 30 books on the Courts of Heaven. I didn't even know how many I had. So they said that, you know, Destiny has published 30, and then there's like seven other, you know, books that I wrote that aren't necessarily on the Court of Heaven, but I've wrote a, I've written a lot on the Court of Heaven. So it's, it's kind of my subject, and then everybody else takes hold of it and begins to do stuff with it and and all that kind of thing.
So, but here's what I want to do. I want to share with you. I just want to give you a little bit of a background. I want to share with you some basic principles, some basic stuff for operating the Courts of Heaven. Now, somebody said, "Well, now Robert, I already know basic stuff." Here's my answer to it. No, you don't. No, you don't. Because I have told, and listen, I have taught and taught and taught, and I go back, and people still don't know why because you have to disciple your spirit with these principles. In other words, you have to, you have to put it into you until you begin to think that way. See, I used to think from a warfare mentality. And I still believe in warfare. But I, this, this is what I believe. I believe that you have to go to the courts before you're successful on the battlefield. That if you don't know how to take the legal claim of the adversary away in your life, in your family, in your nation, if you don't know how to do that, you're never going to be successful on the battlefield, and you will, in fact, unlock backlash against yourself. Why? Because you're challenging something that still has a legal claim.
Somebody says, "Give me scripture." Okay? Revelation 19:11. When Jesus comes back on the white horse, he says, the Bible says, he comes back to judge and to make war. Judge is judicial activity, making war is battlefield. See, so, so you have to, you, listen, Jesus' method for winning is to release judicial order, then go to the battlefield and win. Let me give you an example of it. Genesis 15. The, when, when Abraham was in the trance and God is speaking to him, he tells him, "Now, your descendants are going to be in another nation and serve another nation for four generations." Because, here's what he tells him, "I cannot give you this land you're in right now because the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet full." What's he telling him? "I can't judge them yet. There's not a legal enough reason for me to kick them out of the land and give it, so it's going to take four more generations for them to sin." And that's going to fill up the iniquity that will allow me to righteously judge them and kick them out and give Israel the land. Is it, are you getting that? Okay, so what happens? God does that, and four generations later, what happens? Joshua and the children of Israel march through the land and take the land as they do war in the land. But watch, why were they successful in war? Because of the judgment of God upon the nations that were there. See, this is always God's order. Judgment and then warfare. See, we haven't understood that. I, this is why I say, it's not that the teaching on spiritual warfare is wrong, it's just been insufficient. We didn't understand this piece that we need to know how to go into the court of heaven and get things legally in order. Why? So that we can be successful when you, when we march to the battlefield. Very important. Okay.
So, Daniel chapter 7, verse 9 through 10 is the scripture concerning the court of heaven. Now, there are many scriptures in the Bible, once you see it, that would relate to and be a part of the idea of the court of heaven. But Daniel 7:9-10, here's what he said, "I watched till thrones were set in the place." Notice, Daniel as a seer is watching, and he's looking into the spirit world. And he's seeing what's in the unseen realm. And so he says, "I watched till thrones were put in the place and the Ancient of Days was seated. His garment was white as snow and the hair of his head was like pure wool. His throne was the fiery flame, its wheels a burning fire. A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him. A thousand thousands ministered to him. 10,000 times 10,000 stood before him." Notice what he says, "The court was seated and the books were opened." The court was seated, that means it's now ready to hear cases. And the end that the books are open, it means that the case that's going to be presented are coming out of those books. See, this is why sometimes people are not effective in the court of heaven. They don't know how to discern what's in the book so that they can bring a case into the courts. Because here's what happened, we come before the courts and start telling God about OUR NEED. YOU DON'T LISTEN, YOU DON'T TELL GOD YOUR NEED IN THE COURT, YOU PRESENT HIS PURPOSES IN THE COURT. Tell him what HE SAID ABOUT YOU, ABOUT YOUR FAMILY, about your city, about your state, about your nation. YOU PRESENT THAT as evidence in the court because that's what's in the books. If you want to just boil it down to what's in the books, it is God's prophetic intent. Now, there's many different kinds of books that can be presented in the court. But the main thing that's in the in the books is the prophetic intent. That's why prophets are so important. Cuz listen, I've gotten some real verdicts out of the court by taking things Dennis said to me and presenting them in the court. Dennis prophesied to me that in Waco, he saw over my first house, that was Mary's dream home, by the way. It said "stolen." But the house I was building said "paid in full." So, what did I do? I took it into the court. I took it into the court. I said, "God, your prophet, Dennis Goldsworthy Davis." You say, "Why did you call his name?" Because if he's a real prophet, heaven knows him. And so I said, "Your prophet, Dennis Goldsworthy Davis, said my house would be paid in full. So, I am asking for a verdict out of the court based on the prophetic word that my house would be paid in full." Six months after I moved in that house, it was paid in full. Completely paid in full. Why? Because I took the prophetic word that came out of the books in heaven and presented it in the courts. This is the way you present cases. This is the way you contend for what God has said. I mean, Dennis just told a story about a word from years gone by that he presented in the courts. So that there could be a judgment out of the courts, a verdict rendered, a ruling set, that this is what will happen. Amen?
So, Daniel 7 is very important. But watch, that's in the Old Testament. I get so sick of that, by the way. "Well, that's Old Testament." Well, and I do believe that we need to study to show ourself approved, that, you know, a word with that rightly discerns and divides the word of God. And I believe a big part of that is discerning what from the Old Testament applies today and and what doesn't. I think that's what probably what Paul was saying to Timothy. Okay, but but with that said, watch, I get so tired of these people. I mean, I saw somebody on Facebook the other day say, "I've come to the place that if it's, if if they, if a preacher gets up and starts in the Old Testament, I just shut them off." I'm thinking, "Well, you're a really ignorant person." Because guess what? All the Bible in the New Testament came out of the apostles determining from THE OLD TESTAMENT WHAT GOD WAS SAYING. That's why they quoted OLD TESTAMENT SCRIPTURES. WHY? THAT WAS THE ONLY SCRIPTURE [screaming] THEY HAD. SO, >> [laughter] >> SO, DANIEL 7 is an Old Testament scripture, but it's unveiling a spiritual dimension called the court of heaven. That's why he said, "I watched."
But then in Luke 18:1-8, Jesus puts prayer into a judicial setting. Here's what he says, "Then he spoke a parable to them that men ought always to pray and not to lose heart. There was in a certain city a judge who did not fear God nor regard man. Now, there was a widow in that city, and she came to him saying, 'Get justice for me from my adversary.' And he would not for a while, but afterwards he said within himself, 'Do I, do I not fear God nor regard man, yet because this widow troubles me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she wears me.' Then the Lord said, 'Hear what the unjust judge said. And shall not God avenge his own elect who cry day and night to him, though he bears long with them? I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will he really find faith on the earth?'" So, Jesus in this parable put prayer in a judicial setting. Watch this. Just like Daniel saw the court. Listen, this was no accident. And Jesus was not saying, "Look, you have that God is a judge you have to convince." He was saying, "If this widow could get a verdict from an unjust judge, how much more can we come before God, our righteous judge, and see him render verdicts in our behalf? That if persistence before an unjust judge produces this, how much more will our persistence before God, the righteous judge, produce this?" That was his whole point of the parable. And yet he hid some things within this parable about functioning in the courts of heaven. That's what I believe he was doing. For instance, he said she would go before her, before the judge contending with her adversary. The word adversary is the Greek word antedikos. And it means one who brings a lawsuit. I mean, that's what it means. It means a legal opponent, one who brings a lawsuit. So, so, watch this. Well, now Robert, DON'T YOU KNOW THAT IN THE NEW TESTAMENT JESUS answered all legal things. WELL, DON'T YOU KNOW THAT PETER IN 1 PETER 5:8 SAID, "BE SOBER, BE VIGILANT, FOR YOUR ADVERSARY THE DEVIL." Same word. One who brings A LAWSUIT, WALKS ABOUT AS A ROARING LION SEEKING WHO HE MAY DEVOUR. I'M TELLING YOU IF YOU DON'T GET THIS, THE DEVIL'S GOING TO EAT YOU ALIVE. AND YOU'LL NEVER GET THE DESTINY God has for you. Cuz Peter, a first-century apostle, understood the devil still works legally. To discover legal rights to literally destroy you. AND YOU CAN STICK YOUR HEAD IN THE SAND and play LIKE, "WELL, IT ALL AUTOMATICALLY HAPPENED." IT DID NOT. There's still things we have to do in the court of heaven dealing with our adversary. Or Peter wouldn't have said what he said. Do I believe that Jesus finished everything on the cross? Yep. But I believe I take what he finished and present it as cases in the courts of heaven to get the reality of it in my own life. Because everything Jesus did on the cross was legal in nature. When it says he bore away our sicknesses and carried away our pains, that was legal. That's legally right. It's legally yours. But if you don't know how to take the legality of that and present it in the court and get a verdict out of the court for you, you won't get any benefit from it. You have to know how to present a case in the courts of heaven. So that breakthroughs can come on every level. On every level. So, so Jesus put prayer in the judicial setting. Okay.
See if I can get this done. What is the court of heaven? Number one, it is the judicial system of heaven. It is a judicial system of heaven. That, for instance, in Daniel 7:25 through 27, this Daniel 7:9 and 10 front part of the of the chapter, the back part says this. It talks about the Antichrist spirit. And by the way, how many of you know where in our nation and nations we deal with the Antichrist spirit? I mean, some of the, where does this stuff come from? All this trans stuff and all this, this many genders, you know, all these kind of, WHERE DOES THIS MESS COME FROM? IT'S ANTICHRIST fighting against who GOD IS. IT'S ANTICHRIST. SO IF that thing is still very much alive today. So it says he, the Antichrist will speak pompous words against the Most High, will persecute those saints of the Most High, shall intend to change times and laws, then the saints will be given into his hands for time and a times and a half time. Verse 26, but everybody say "but." The court shall be seated. And they shall take away his dominion to consume it and destroy it forever. And then it talks about how that the saints will rule. So watch, because of the court, the saints go from those that are defeated to those that are in dominance. One decision from the courts. That's why if we don't understand the courts, you'll never be effective against the Antichrist spirit that's trying to take over our nation. We have to know how to, the ecclesia has to know how to go into the courts, present a case that lets the judgment of God from the courts come out of the courts so that the rights of the Antichrist spirit that want to destroy OUR NATION ARE REVOKED and removed and that Antichrist spirit becomes destroyed itself. The court of heaven is absolutely essential to that process. That's why Psalms 2, that's also dealing with the Antichrist, says that the Lord will sit and in judgment, and that word "sit" means to sit as a judge. And he will laugh at those that say they're going to cast off his bonds and remove his constraints. See, what's he saying? He's saying there's going to be a judgment against this Antichrist spirit. And watch, he said there's going to be. That's why I contend that so much of the laughter sometimes that breaks out is not just refreshing, it's the judgment of God being released against the spirit of Antichrist. Cuz God is laughing through his people. But it's coming out of the courts. >> [snorts] >> Okay, number two, real quickly. Number two, what else do we need to know about the court of heaven? That it's a panel of judges. Daniel 7:9, he said, "I watched till thrones plural were put into place and the Ancient of Days was seated." So, let me just, to spare, save time. Watch, there is an Ancient of Days that is on the on the throne. But then connected to the throne are multiples of thrones. That means that the court of heaven is not a jury court like we would know in America. The court of heaven is a panel of judges. Why is that important? I mean, my gosh, if I could go in this, let me give you a picture. Zechariah chapter 3. Joshua the high priest, high priest has on unclean garments. He has lost the right because of his uncleanness in the spirit world, he has lost the right to represent the nation of Israel before the throne of God. And the Bible said that the, that the enemy Satan is standing at his right hand to oppose him or accuse him. But God comes and cleans him up through the angels and through the prophet and says to him, watch this. He says to him, "If you will obey me, if you'll walk in my statutes, he said, here's what I'm going to do. I am going to let you have charge of my courts and be a judge in my house." Listen, when God cleaned Zechariah, or excuse me, Joshua the high priest, that when he cleaned him up, he moved him from being a defendant to being a judge. Why is that important? CUZ WE MAY ALL START OFF AS DEFENDANTS in the courts. I did. But then God says, "Look, I'm going to move you into a place of a judge." Why? Because only judges can present cases that change nations. We need some judges. We need some people that have dealt with it. See, I dealt with my issues. I dealt with three basic things that were resisting me in the court. Number one, I dealt with covenants with demons that were in my bloodline. Covenants with demons that were in my bloodline. That was revealed by a prophetic voice in South Africa. And whenever I dealt with that thing, everything that was attacking me was broken off. Number two, I dealt with iniquity in my bloodline. I had a dream where I was told that my great-great-grandfather had through negligence injured someone, therefore, because that allowed someone's dreams to be stole away, God had to allow the enemy to steal my dreams away. And the moment I dealt with that iniquity, everything began to pop open. On brand new levels. And then number three, I had to deal with someone that was making accusations about me that I had stolen or taken something that was not mine. And the enemy was taking their words and claiming a right against me. And I had to deal with those accusations. And when I dealt with those three accusations, people with spiritual authority, their words, iniquity in the bloodline, and demons with covenants. Watch this. All of a sudden, I moved from being a defendant to sitting as a judge. I don't have time to tell you all all of that, but the bottom line is that's why the court of heaven is a panel of judges. The ultimate judge is God the Father. The ultimate judge is the one who sits up on the throne. Watch this. But then there are other thrones, clearly, that we can sit upon. And that God needs us to sit upon so that we graduate from being just a defendant that that the court will answer us, but being just a defendant to being a judge in the spirit world. Is it making sense to you? And there's whole things that we teach on that I teach on that and how to move into that place. But it's a panel of judges. There's nothing more important than being a part of CO-OP, Court of Heaven House of Prayer. Because when you're a part of a house of prayer, it promises that you pray from a brand new level, >> [music] >> a brand new place of authority. It promises that God will extend blessings over you and your generations after [music] you. It promises that we get to be a part of impacting culture by [music] praying prayers that lets God bring breakthrough not just into our own lives and into our own families, but into the cultures that [music] we are a part of. So, I want to encourage you today. Watch this. To become a partner with a purpose. See, that's what you become when you [music] join Co-op. You begin to partner with me because one of the things that is consistent with with a house of prayer is [music] that it is led by an apostle, and you begin to align and connect with that apostle. So, I'm not asking you >> [music] >> to join an organization. I'm asking you to connect to me apostolically so that there is a new authority that you can begin to function in that will bring breakthrough to you when you petition God on a brand new level. So, join Court of Heaven House of Prayer because it will empower you [music] to pray in a different way not only for yourself, but also for the culture that you are a part of. So, become a partner [music] with me, a partner with a purpose. What's the purpose? To expand the rule of the kingdom into the earth. Listen, any of us that belong to Jesus, our passion, our desire should be that that [music] his influence, of the increase of his government and of his peace, there will be no end according to Isaiah [music] 9:7, and there will be an increase of his glory and his power that will be known not only in our life and our family, but [music] in the cultures of the earth. Become a part today of Court of Heaven. That's what's in the courts of heaven.
Number three, the court of heaven is a place of righteous judgment. Of righteous judgment. It says in Daniel 7:10, "A fiery stream issued and came forth before him." What is that? I was in Wash-, I, I was in Oklahoma with uh Kurt Landry. He'd asked me to come. He was, he was, he had asked some other prophetic people to come and they were presenting, he was s- launching a new ministry and they began to prophesy. He asked me to come 'cause he figured this out. He'd got a hold of this. And I, I was to sit on the platform with them and I was to write down everything the prophets were saying and then I was to stand and present it in the in the courts of heaven as a testimony and ask for God to render a judgment that the blessing of God would come up on this ministry. I, so I, that's what I was there for. So I'm sitting there and I'm, I'm listening to all these guys prophesying and I'm making notes and I'm thinking, "Oh God, help me." And so, so I, I step, I step up. It's my turn. I step up and I began to present a case based on the prophetic words out of the open books. And I began to present that in the courts of heaven. All of a sudden, I feel this hand. It was, um, JoAnn Galioto. Native American. Uh, God, anyway, she, I, I'd watched her do this many times with her husband who had gone on to be with the Lord. Now JoAnn just recently has gone on to be with the Lord. But I felt this hand come from behind me. What? Swallow. Jay Swallow and JoAnn Swallow. I felt this hand come from behind me and put it on. As her hand touched me, something I have never felt before or or any other time. This groan, I talked about groan, this groan, but I'm talking about a deep groaning came out of me. And as they would say on the Andy Griffith Show, I was a mess. I mean, and it's being streamed all over the world and I mean I'm, and all of a sudden as I'm in that condition, I hear this verse, "A FIERY STREAM." And I suddenly realize that if the fiery STREAM WAS VERDICTS COMING OUT OF THE COURTS AGAINST the enemies of God. And I began to tell THE PEOPLE, "YOU NEED TO CLAIM THE JUDGMENTS OF GOD RIGHT NOW AGAINST your enemies. Because this is the MOMENT WHEN GOD FROM HIS COURT IS RELEASING A FIERY STREAM. A FIRE GOES BEFORE HIM AND BURNS UP HIS ENEMIES." They kind of set there complacent. I'm thinking, y'all ain't getting it. This is a moment in time when judgments are coming out of the court of heaven. And there was tremendous things that did start to happen or did happen. So, we need to know that there's righteous judgments that come out of the court against everything that's prohibiting the purposes of God in the earth and in your life. God will judge it. This is how I've gotten such breakthrough. Listen, I, I live this way now. I think this way. I don't go running to the battlefield yelling at the devil. That produces absolutely nothing unless the legal rights have been revoked and taken out of the way. In fact, it will get you killed. I'm serious. IT WILL GET YOU KILLED if you presumptuously do that. So, let me just do this. Let me give you some basic principles for the next 13 minutes.
Number one, okay, this is powerful. Watch. One of some basic principles for functioning in the courts. You need to know the courts are for the elect. See, when I first started teaching on the court of heaven, I left the idea that the devil took us to court. And he can, but watch. His court is his, his activity in the court, please hear this, is always a countersuit against you. It's a countersuit. In other words, he's taking you to court. Why? Because he's looking for a legal right to resist what God wants to do in and through your life. So, you need to know that the court of heaven is actually in place for one reason, for us, watch this, to take the court, the devil to court. Listen, that's the place we take the devil to court. Uh, Luke 18:6-7, then the Lord said, "Hear what the unjust judge said. And shall not God avenge his own who? Elect, who cried to him day and night? Yes, I say he will bear, though though he bears with him long." So, here's the point. He says, "I am going to allow the elect to put the devil on trial." Let's just, let's just say you're sick. I mean, you got a disease or something. I'm just picking something out of thin air. Legally, when Jesus died on the cross, he took away your sickness, as he bore away your pain. So, what do you do? You take that sickness caused by the devil where? Into court, and you REMIND THE COURT, "I WAS HEALED ON THE CROSS WHEN JESUS DIED." THEREFORE, FROM THE COURT, I'M ASKING FOR A JUDGMENT AGAINST ANY AND EVERY SATANIC FORCE THAT IS [screaming] TRYING TO WORK AGAINST ME." AND YOU BEGIN to present your case. Now, the devil may stand up and he'll say, "But I have evidence that says THEY CAN'T BE HEALED BECAUSE OF THIS AND THIS and this." HERE'S WHAT YOU DO. YOU SAY, "OKAY, HERE'S WHAT I CLAIM. THE SPEAKING BLOOD in Hebrews 12:24, THAT THERE IS A BLOOD OF SPRINKLING THAT SPEAKS IN MY BEHALF BETTER THINGS THAN THAT OF ABEL. THEREFORE, THOSE ACCUSATIONS CANNOT stand in this court." Because the court is for the elect. It's where we take the devil to trial. And get judge, get the judgments of the cross functionally set in place against him.
Number two. It is history with God. Now, watch this. It grants us status in the courts. History with God. Luke 18:7. And shall, he's talking about the widow coming to to court. He says, "And shall God not avenge his own elect who cry out day and night to him, though he bears long with them?" That, that simply means the ones that are coming in the court, God will listen to them, and they have a status before him because of their history with God. Our history with God, our persistence, our faithfulness to spend time with him even when you don't want to. It speaks in the courts. It gives you status. I went to bed, I went to bed after midnight last night 'cause I went out with my kids. I set my alarm for 6 'cause Dennis is going to get come get me at 6:45. I thought I could get it all gathered up by then. And when I went to bed, I thought, "Unless God wakes me up." Well, that government, he woke me up at 4:30. So, I got up and I spent an hour in prayer. Why? Because I thought, "Well, I preached on prayer last night. I probably ought to get up and pray." So, I got up and I prayed. But, but I'm telling you, here, here's the issue. Those kind of moments when you make a decision to do things you don't want to do in the flesh, they develop a history with God that literally gives you an authority and a place in the courts. Because the reason this woman got such a speedy verdict and, and that, and listen, that was the one of the first thing that got my attention about this whole thing, how speedy it was that the verdicts came, was because she had a history with God. She cried out day and night. She cried out day and night. It gave her a status in the spirit world. See, this is what Hebrews 11:39 says. And all these having obtained a good testimony through faith did not receive the promise. Notice, they, they, they even though they didn't have the promise, they had a status in heaven. They received a good testimony. That means heaven spoke well of them. I like it when people talk good about me here, which isn't very often. But I like it better when heaven talks good about me. That is the status that I have there.
Okay, number four. Just two more real quickly. Or number three actually, 'cause I, I mixed two together. Number three. Speedy results. Luke 18:7-8. This is again what got my attention. That because she cried out day and night, it says, "I tell you." Here's what Jesus said. That those who, that he will avenge them what? Speedily. This is what got my attention. Things that I've been praying for for years happened like that. When I took them in the court, I will never forget. And many of you heard this testimony. I'll never forget contending for my son Adam who was bound in depression, working at a convenience store after having been a pastor, you, a very successful pastor up in the Washington area, Washington state. And he is in absolute depression. He's lost his marriage. He's lost his his child. He lost everything. And I have been trying to get him out of depression. Cuz he was hung up in depression. I couldn't get him out. I tried everything in the natural. I tried everything in the spirit. I'll never forget the morning I went to prayer and the Lord said to me, "Bring Adam to my courts." Heard it clear as a bell. And I didn't know that I knew how to do that. So I just started. I did so. I, the first thing I did was, I didn't even know if it was right to do this. I began to repent in Adam's behalf. You say, "You can do that?" Well, I found out later, 1 John 5:16 says you can. That if you see one sinning a sin not unto death, you can ask life and God will give them life. That I can do things in behalf of somebody else. In the courts of heaven, I actually stand as an attorney in behalf of somebody else. That's what I did for Adam. And I began to repent. Now watch this, you got to hear this. That did not cause Adam to be forgiven of his sins. That revoked the legal right of the devil to use them against him. And free him up to then pray himself and get forgiven. But I had to deal with the legal claims against him that were coming out of his own life by repenting for the sins so that the legal rights of the enemy were rebuked, rebuked. I did that. I found all that out later. But then as I did, the Lord said to me, "Now you repent." And I thought, "Wait a minute, what have I done?" And he said, "You have spoken negative words to his mother about Adam." I had, to Mary. And here's what he said, "And the enemy has taken your words and have built a case and have said, 'Even his own father says this about him.'" It's true. I had to repent. Now I'm crying. I've got tears running down my cheek because I'm realizing I'm a part of the problem. So I began to repent. As I'm doing that, I feel this major shift. And watch this. As I'm doing that, the Lord says to me, "Now rebuke the spirit of depression." Now I'd rebuked that spirit hundreds of times in a, in a two and a half, three year period, never moved. But God said, "Now." Why? Because now I could rebuke it because the legal claim of it to hold Adam had been broken. Through repentance. SO I SAID, "YOU SPIRIT OF DEPRESSION, I REBUKE [screaming] YOU. YOU will not HAVE MY SON. IN THE NAME OF JESUS, YOU LET him go." And I felt this shift. Then the Lord clearly said, "Now prophesy his destiny." And on the day Adam was born, the Lord said to me, "How beautiful upon the mountain are the feet of those that bring good news." I began to do that because now I'm presenting a case out of his prophetic book. I got up and I thought, I took about 15 minutes. I got up and I thought, "I don't know what happened, but something happened." After 2 and a half to 3 years of nothing happening, something happened. Something speedily occurred. Here's what happened. A week and a half later, Adam called me. I saw it on my phone. It was Adam. I picked the phone up. I said, "Hey Adam." He said, "Hey Dad." He said, "Can I talk to you for a second?" I said, "Sure." He said, "I don't know what happened, but a week and a half ago, all the depression left me. Can I, I want to serve God. Can we get together and read the Bible?" Let me tell you what, Adam, he pastors a church in a rural area, had a thousand people in his church in a rural area HERE IN TEXAS. COMPLETELY SUCCESSFUL and blessed of God. And he will tell you it's because of the court of heaven. Cuz his dad figured out how to go into the courts, present a case that got speedy answers. We've seen many others.
Okay, the last one. You got to operate in faith. How many you know moving in the prophetic and moving in these dimensions is is a faith, it's a faith game. It says in Luke 18:8, it said, "I tell you he'll avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will he really find faith on the earth?" So, in other words, God, here, watch, watch what God's saying. I'm going to be so faithful to this principle. I'm going to be so faithful to the court of heaven principle. It's going to bring such breakthrough, but is it going to put faith in my people so that whenever I come, I'm going to find faith? See, this is what, this is what it says about Sarah. That she, by faith, she had faith to conceive because she judged him faithful who had promised. Listen, it's the faithfulness of God to his word that should birth faith in our spirits. But so often it don't. We're like the children of Israel marching through the wilderness, and every time God does something, we forget it. No, listen. We should get such breakthroughs out of the court. And God said, "I'm going TO BE SO FAITHFUL to this principle that it will birth faith in your heart because you'll watch this thing work for you time after time after." I'm telling you, I've been doing this for 16 years. I have watched it over and over and over. That's why I can answer my critics. And I have them, believe me. I can answer them. Why? Cuz a man with an experience is not at the mercy of a man with an argument. I have an experience. You can tell me all different, "Oh, that's Old Testament. That doesn't work." Oh, yes, it does. Unbelievable breakthrough when nothing else would bring breakthrough. When I remove the legal claims.
So, could you stand up? I, I to pray for you right quick. Thank you, Lord. Father, thank you for your word. And Lord, thank you for your presence. Thank you that you've given us the court of heaven. Where we can take everything Jesus has done legally for us >> [snorts] >> and apply it and present it as evidence before your court. So that out of that place there can be verdicts rendered, rulings set, decisions made that will cause lasting judgment to come upon the adversary. So that he will no longer be able to devour our lives or hurt us in any way. That we come free from that and begin to step into the full promises of all that you have made for us. Thank you. This is presence. I want you just to receive as we stand through that anointing that's in the room. Court of my son. Thank you for loving us. And thank you for rendering judgments in and from the courts of heaven that allows us to triumph always because of who you are. Thank you for it, Lord. In Jesus' name. Hallelujah. You know, Dennis said earlier that God spoke to him and said, "But you never took it to court." May we take it to court to secure from heaven all the blessings >> [snorts] >> and all the provisions that's for us, that's for our families, that's for our children and our grandchildren. May we see everything, every desire of our heart met as we present cases in the courts of heaven. May healings come. May financial breakthroughs come as the spirit of poverty is broken and no longer has a legal right to claim us. >> [snorts] >> We just want to thank you for that. One more thought and I'll turn it back to Dennis. The spirit of poverty, which the Bible says in >> [music] >> 2 Corinthians 8:9 was judged, it literally says, now watch it, this is a legal statement, that he who was rich became poor that we through his poverty might become rich. >> [snorts] >> That means the legal claims of the adversary are revoked and rebuked so that poverty will not determine your future, but God will. Poverty will not determine your future, but God will. Somebody says, well, I'm, I'm not in poverty. Oh, really? Are you stuck and can't go to the next financial place that God wants you to go to? You're stuck. You're stuck in a financial status that God wants to bring you out of? No matter how much you have, listen, [music] if that's the case, I promise you there's a spirit of poverty that is trying to stop you from moving to the next levels. Somebody says, oh, wait a minute. Isn't that kind of selfish?" No, it's selfish not to want it. Why? Because God wants to bless you so much that you can be a blessing to someone else. That's what God, that's the Abrahamic covenantal blessing, which the Bible says in Galatians 3:29, that if you are Christ, you are Abraham's seed and heirs to the promise. The same promise that Abraham walked in. What did God promise Abraham? I'm going to bless you that you might be a blessing. I want that. I want that. I want to see you bless me so much, Lord, because the spirit of poverty is broken. I want to watch you bless me so much that I can be a blessing. That I can be a blessing. And others' lives will be better because I have succeeded in getting verdicts out of the court of heaven against the spirit of poverty. And we thank you for that. In Jesus' name. Amen. Give the Lord a big praise with you.
Well, bless you guys. I hope you enjoyed that teaching on the basics of the court of heaven. I mean, listen, I've been teaching on the court of heaven for 16 years, but I find that people need to hear things over and over and over. This is what Peter said that that even after his death, he said, "I'm going to fix things where that you can have things in remembrance." In other words, they understood that people need to hear things on a consistent basis so that they can be discipled with those truths. So, as you've listened to this teaching, which by the way, when I taught that in San Antonio, it was a very, very powerful time in the Lord. I want to encourage you to grab hold of these principles. Don't just say, "Oh, that's something I've heard before." No, I'm telling you these are powerful principles. Even though I've been teaching it for 16 years, I still function in the courts of heaven on a daily basis. So, I want to encourage you by faith to step into the courts of heaven and to begin to present your case. Now, watch this. And once you present your case, bring an offering. I mean, I said this for years that if we're not sowing into what we're believing God for, watch this, you don't have a vision, you have a fantasy. Because listen, when we, once we step into the courts of heaven, we need to bring our offering. That's why Isaiah 56:7 says, "I'll bring them to my house of prayer, I'll make them joyful there." And then it says, "Their burnt offering and their sacrifices will be accepted up on my altar." Why? Because prayers and offerings go together. And when we mix them together, they have a dramatic impact in the spirit world and in particular in the court of heaven. So, come on. Right now, just hold your, hold your hand like this. You're like you're holding your offering and say, "Lord, as I step into the courts, I thank you that you hear me. And I thank you that there's verdicts being rendered in behalf of me and my family, my call, Lord, all the things that I am, every assignment that I have. I thank you for it. But I also bring my offering today. And I mix it with my prayers so that there is a testimony that is released before your courts that actually allows you, Lord, to render verdicts and rulings in my behalf. And I thank you for granting this as we stand in your courts this day. Let amazing breakthroughs happen as we bring our prayers mixed with our offerings and let your divine purposes be done in our lives in and from the court of heaven.
