THE MODEL CHURCH - PART 2 - YMNI CONFERENCE 2026 - DAY 1- SESSION 2

The apostolic office is in governance and adjudication. It is wrong for you as a pastor to be the only person who makes decisions in the church. That is not the pattern. Now, of the propositions I am giving, if they are sidelined, it is consequential. Some of the challenges the church will go through, the church will not survive them. If certain things that were established by the apostles in the early church are not enforced in our churches. I believe we are following. Anytime I start, that is how it goes. So don't worry, they just follow along, you will get it. Amen.

The apostolic office was the highest office of governance in the early church. Now, by the apostolic office, they provided oversight. They settled disputes and they ensured doctrinal purity. Examples: they serve as overseers of the church. They determined how the churches were to behave. They were the senders of missionaries. It was in the apostolic council. Paul and Barnabas were sent into mission. When there were disputations as to whether the Gentiles should be involved in the church, it was the apostolic council that gave a judgment on that matter. That they should not be forced to follow the Jewish ceremonial rituals, but that they should do good to the poor and follow the teachings of our Lord. They determined how the churches were to run. That is an apostolic office.

Now, that apostolic office was not handled by one. It was not handled by Peter. It was handled by all the apostles. Peter was the head. That is the pattern that has been given to us. If you are a founder or a pastor of a church, you must have an authoritative body in the church. There are many names you can call this authoritative body. You can call it the council of elders. I'm talking about the church and its governance, apostolicity. There should be an apostolic order. Number one, there should be an apostolic office. The apostolic office exercises governance and adjudication. For instance, if you are the only one who settles disputes in the church, you will never be free from accusations. In my book, "A Toll Who Is He?", I talk about seven major accusations that are leveled against any pastor. If there is any rebellion against you, one of the seven accusations will be leveled against you. Number one, accusations of sexual perversion. Number two, accusations of stealing, financial issues. Number three, accusations of favoritism and nepotism. The pastoral favor some people. Number four, accusations of dabbling in the occult. You are using juju or some strange powers. Various accusations will be leveled against you. No matter who you are, no matter whatever the fight may be, you will be accused with one of these seven accusations. But in most cases, if the author is not established, you will never and ever be acquitted in the accusation. If you are the only one who determines what should be met out to any offender, no matter how much you try to be fair, someone will accuse you for being unfair.

I remember one day, somebody who did something bad against me. He was working for me, but when he did something against me, I was not the judge over him. It was the council of our church that met him and told him that from today, you can't drive the pastor's car again based on what you have done. And I was not even aware. Pastor, what if you love the person that you wanted him to be the one to drive your car? Well, there is nothing wrong for a child to be punished. But we have had earthly fathers whose chastisement has been best unto us. Shall we not submit to the Father of all spirits and live? But if we are chastening of which all have become partakers, we are not sons but bastards. A son must submit to correction to prove sonship. One of the signs that somebody has become your father is his ability to punish you and you accept it gladly. So in my typical understanding of the scriptures, I would rather stand afar off. And what I did was biblical precedent. I tell you, it was not Abraham that sacked the beggar. It was not it appears the apostle of Absalom. It was Joab. It was not God that sacked Lucifer from heaven. It was Michael and his angels. In all of this, the decisions that were made were made in favor of someone who was not a participant in the judgment. It's wrong for a pastor to be the sole proprietor. There's no sole proprietorship in the church. The church must have a council. So when you read my book, "Systems and Structures," I talk about the one-man church syndrome. I said it's a syndrome. It's a disease. If the pastor of a church cannot trust people to rule the church with him, then he is not qualified to be the pastor over them. Because the people that he is supposed to rule the church with are people that he trains. If God has entrusted us, I think it will not be strange for us to entrust others also.

No pastor, are you saying from here I should go and appoint a council to come and tell me, the anointed one, to do? I will have to. If I'm talking about appointments, there are systems and structures for appointments in this book. If I'm to talk about appointments, then I will talk about what has to be in place, what has to be done before someone is appointed. One of them is that the person must prove himself not a novice, lest he be puffed up. So if a man has not proven himself and you make him a member of your church council, you are spelling doom. But my emphasis is that the church must have a council. Do you understand? The council can even exist as a tenured system based on whatever understanding. Even Jesus didn't work alone. He worked with a council. And the last time I checked, God speaking, he says, "Come, let us reason together." When you think you are so anointed, you don't need anybody to tell you what to do, you are in error. You are building, but not according to the pattern. There is no president. The Pope is not the only one ruling the Catholic Church. There is a college of cardinals. Moses had 70 elders ruling the nation with him. Christ had 12. Even Paul, according to the Bible, had his traveling companions. So your church must have a college of leadership. When you establish a college of leadership in the church, you are practicing an apostolic order, which is the first pattern that was revealed to us by the church in Acts.

Example of judicial matters of the apostolic church: Acts 15:6. Now I beg your pardon, mostly because of the time, we try to run through a lot of things. I will encourage you to listen to the things, meditate on them, and find meaning out of some of them and how to put them in your context. Amen. If I'm not quoting a lot of verses or reading a lot of verses, I'll just say that I'll mention the verses so that because of time, because if we even pick one of any of these books here, we can preach it for one month. I'm not exaggerating. If I pick five categories of followers and try to preach from this book, we can preach it for one month. Each category and how the pastor is supposed to relate with them. It's not everybody invited to your house to understand these things. The Bible said Jesus Christ said, "Send the people away." He left the congregation. And the disciples followed him into the house and said, "Jesus, the parable you told us, what is the meaning?" Why didn't he tell the meaning of the parable to the multitude? I have a pastor friend, a very wonderful man of God. He had his birthday. Your father. He invited people to his church on his birthday. When they came to his house, his church is not in Ghana. All the leaders of the church left the church. They could not understand how somebody has what they have been fighting for. But this man of God is a prophet. God has blessed him all over the world. You know, most pastors, most people don't know how pastors get their money. That is why we have no right to answer the world. In case the world wants to know, pastors are not enriched by tithes and offerings. Any pastor who is enriched by tithes and offerings is a thief. In most cases, pastors are enriched by the fruits of their impact, which mostly the church, the people in the world don't know. This jacket I'm wearing was bought for me by somebody who is not in this church. In most cases, you see a pastor driving a car. It's a woman he prayed for 12 years ago. When I started this church, I was so broke. I was staying in an uncompleted building. One day, I prayed for a man. The man was giving me $2,000 every month for almost two years. So if you saw me, it's not because I have received tithes and offerings. It is because I'm receiving fruits of my impact. How much salary do you think that Action Church pays the bishop? And how much salary do you think the Action Church pays a bishop? A bishop that is working, ministering around. How much salary do you think if a bishop died, makes a mistake and said that for the next 1 month I will be in my church and I will not travel and I'm going to make time for all the pastors who are willing to see me. A bishop that can make over $1 million in one month. People looking for him to give money to him, they can't find him. And you are saying that pastors are enriched by tithes and offerings? One, I went to his church for three continuous weeks with money with my pastors. Three weeks we couldn't see him. One of the times we will go there. You see, it's not now. Now, by the grace of God, I have people inside that I can easily connect and connect and connect. We sat there 1:45 a.m. He came out of his office. He has been called into an emergency meeting. So he cannot see all of us. Jesus. We were holding money to give to him. We couldn't find him. This is how pastors are blessed. If some pastors make a mistake to say that I am buying a private jet, it will shock you. They will not buy one. They will buy six. If they make a mistake to make that announcement, the world doesn't know this part of the church. Keep insulting rich pastors. They don't know. Pastors are not rich, but the offering usually takes care of the things in the church, usually. And things about the church are very expensive. Do you know how much a keyboard is? You know how much a microphone is? This mic is called Shure Beta 58A. Is that the name? SM. What? SLXD. Is it by the roadside? Do you know how much electricity bill this church pays? How much fuel this church buys? This conference alone. That is what tithes and offerings are used for. If a pastor wants to depend on tithes and offerings, he's not ready to live a comfortable life. If you don't take care, you'll be frustrated and insulting all your church members. It is well. That's why some are selling all manner of things.

So apostles and elders adjudicated the controversy over Gentile believers, issuing authoritative decrees on them. Acts 15:6-29. In Acts chapter 20 verse 28, Paul charged elders to shepherd the flock. So the apostolic office functions as a governing and adjudicating authority of the church. Another apostolic work is the establishment of doctrines, which is still under the apostolic office. The church is characterized by church doctrine. Number two, church traditions. Three, church practices. The doctrines of the church are derived from the scriptures. So the emphasis of a church on a particular doctrine becomes that church's doctrine. For instance, women should cover their hair before they pray because if they remove it, they dishonor their hair or their head. It is in the Bible. "Do not allow women, I do not permit women to teach." It is in the Bible. "A hand that does not work must not eat" is in the Bible because I did not want to become a burden to any. "I work with my own hands" is in the Bible. Which of the doctrines in the Bible does your church practice? It is the work of the pastor of the church.

Recently, we had a church service and somebody asked a question. Is a pastor? I think that we should talk about the things the girls wear to church because some of them are even leaders. So as soon as I read the question, most usually I don't know the question before I come, they just bring them out. I call all the girls in the church here and they tell they should stand in front, and I said, "Whoever asked the question, which of the dresses is wrong? Point it to me." Then I said, "You can sit down. All those here who are girls, come. All those here, come." At the point, there were many. So I said, "One, two, three, four. All the girls here, come." Without any special selection, we could not find anything wrong with any of the things the girls were wearing. Even right now, all of you girls, get up. Which of these dressings should not be allowed in church? But somebody may see this girl and what she's wearing and say, "This one should not be in church." Somebody may be in church and say, "What you are wearing, you shouldn't wear this hair." Yes. Somebody may have a problem. There are people who say that you are wearing a skirt. So, oh, I mean, a wig. There are people who have a problem with it. Oh, stop that. I don't know why some talk about makeup. People have all of these things. So I said that, well, let me make an allowance for the person who asked the question, and this is my allowance. When you sit in an airplane and somebody's dress is unconventional to your own ethos, will you jump from the plane? When you go to a lecture hall as a student, and I have been a student before, the dressing of the girls on campus, I don't know now, but it was terrible. They sit down and they are naked and yet unashamed. And guess what? I never left any of the lecture halls. So my point is that the dresses outside are more dangerous than the ones that come into the church. If you cannot survive the ones in church, I beg you, you can't survive outside. So the real solution is not to tell the people what to wear. The real solution is to tell you to become helpful to yourself. Learn to zip up. Learn to close your eyes. Say, "Pastor, you mean that I should close my eyes when I come to church?" Don't you always say, "Let us close our eyes." There is nothing wrong with closing your eyes in church. If that will help you, if one eye causes you to sin, remove it. Is that not what Jesus taught us? Some people are just not serious. But whatever that should be a dress code for the church is supposed to be something the pastor must introduce. I tell you, pastor, how you want the church members to dress is how you are supposed to dress. What you want your church members to say is what you say. What you want the church members to do is what you do. That is how you establish doctrine. What you say, what you do, what you practice. If this church has a doctrine, it must proceed from the leader of the church, not the last man at the door. If that happens, there will be confusion in the church. There will be a lot of confusion in the church. Somebody should not be in the church and set rules that have not been sanctioned by the church. I'm in the choir. From today, anytime you come to the choir, we remove our sandals before we start rehearsals. Why? Because God told Moses to remove his sandals because the place is holy. Who approved this doctrine? Has the pastor of the church been made aware of this practice? That person is walking in this order. So it is the pastor of the church that establishes doctrine, and the doctrine is established through his preachings, his teachings, his customs, his practices. Are we here?

Number two, the works of an apostle. So I said number one, apostolic office. Or do the works. The pastor of the church must work the works of an apostle. The works of an apostle are both spiritual and practical. Number one, preaching and teaching. Teaching is a ministry, but every pastor is supposed to be a teacher. In my book, "The Gifts and Callings," I established that everyone is a preacher and a teacher, or a preacher or a teacher. You are either one or both. An apostle must teach. The atmosphere of the church is determined by his teachings. The culture of the church is determined by his teachings. The strength of the church is determined by his teachings. You cannot set the house for me. I'm not a teacher. What you are doing is not a church. Some people are running the church like a crusade. We come, we invite the great man of God, he preaches and dispenses us. That's not church. The church is different from a crusade. If you are not a teacher, you are building, but not according to the pattern. "They continue steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine." You must show us through your teachings how to do what? How do we fast? How do we pray? How do we study our Bible? How do we maintain righteousness and holiness? How do we abstain from evil? How do we keep ourselves unspotted from the world? How do we prosper? How do we marry? How do we raise kids? How do we start a business? How do we run our businesses? How do we start a church? How do we start a cell? How do we pray? These are things a pastor is supposed to teach. Whether the pastor is an apostle or he's a prophet or he's a evangelist or he's a teacher, so far as he is the head of the local church, he is a pastor over the church. The highest authority in the local church is a pastor. The highest authority over the universal church is an apostle. That is the pattern that was laid. So if you're a pastor of a church, you can pastor and prophesy. You can pastor and teach. You can pastor and heal the sick. You can pastor and do all other things. But as a pastor, your first work, he said, "I will give them a shepherd who shall feed them with knowledge." The work of a shepherd is to feed. "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want." He makes me what? In what? Pasture. Pastor means eating. The first work of a pastor is feeding. If you are not feeding the church, something else will feed the people. You should organize teaching services. I'm not saying preaching services. Can I say preaching means to proclaim, teaching means to explain? I am talking about holding a service where you are explaining how and what. I have realized that according to Proverbs, he says, "The wife of your youth will keep you from the strange woman." That means legitimate relationship prevents us from illegitimate relationship. That is true. So I have taught people how to marry in this church. This church, we don't pray for wife and husband. We have been taught how to marry with or without money. Number one, if you are in the church and you do not depend on anybody financially, you can marry even if you sleep on the street. Why? Because the marriage will not make it worse. You're already on the street. But the last time I checked, two is better than one. So it is better for two people to bring five five and buy two rooms than one person to cough ten. It is easier for two people to bring five and five to rent than for one person to cough ten. Can't you notice that to cough 200,000 cities for your rent will be easier for you if you were to only cough 10,000 and the other person will cough 10,000? So marriage is economical. Is marriage an achievement? Yes. Marriage. I believe the most important institution on this earth is marriage. Apart from the church, pastor, apostasy. Well, the Bible says marriage is honorable above all. The marital bed, on the when they say marriage is honorable above all, what does it mean? It means it is above all. Marriage is an institution. It is above all other institutions. Society is preserved by marriage. Procreation, which sustains a generation, is through marriage. The last time I checked, nobody has ever committed suicide because they don't. But people have committed suicide because of bad marriage. And the last time I checked, no school in the world teaches you how to have a good marriage. I've been to a little of the school. There is no school that teaches us how to marry. The most I was even telling the church that I am surprised that in the business school, they don't teach people how to make money. They teach people how to count money. To be an accountant means you have been taught how to count money. Accounting. Counting it. So an accountant simply means somebody who counts money. The money is 27 trillion. Count it so that some will not be missing and tell where which one is supposed to go. That's an accountant. The money you have not showed me how to get, but you show me how to count it. Count whose money? So the church, the institutions of the world do not teach us essentials. It is the church. If a pastor doesn't teach his church members how to make money, he's doing a great disservice to the church. If there are students in your church, you have to teach them how to pass exams. Say, "Pastor, how do I know these things?" That is why you are a pastor. God will show you how they should do it. If you seek and you find, that is what teaching means. There are people in the church every day, they say marriage is hard. Marriage is a child. You've never preached on marriage in your church. You've not told them how to have money because you also struggling with your marriage. By the way, the Bible has not called us to teach ourselves. He has called us to teach Christ. We teach standards that are biblical, not standards we have fallen short of. If your marriage is bad, it does not deny you the right to preach on marriage as a pastor. Teach devoid of your own sentiments. Teach devoid of your own prejudice. Teach devoid of your own idiosyncrasies. Teach what the Bible says marriage should be. If you fall short of it, go and do your homework. And in most cases, when we preach marriage, we can tell the thing is hitting us. In most cases, what the pastor preaches all the time is what the Holy Spirit is telling him himself. Yeah. In most cases. So as an apostle over the church, you have to amplify your teachings. So Paul told Timothy to teach. The apostolic church was a church that emphasized on teachings. If you teach, you'll be shocked how the church will become stable. And what makes people become teachers usually is where the problem is. To teach, you must learn. It does not come by praying. It comes by sitting down to learn. It is more difficult to get people to read your book than to write it. It is more difficult to read a book than to buy it. It is easier to buy a book than to read it. Check. You have say 600 books in your library. How many of them have you read cover to cover? A pastor that reads will stand out because he will never like teaching what you say. So pastor, you can't say you don't like reading. It's like saying, it's like somebody saying, I don't like breathing. I don't like eating. You will die. So what you do not like should not deny you what you should do. This book, "Excuses," the title actually is not "Excuses." The title means failure. The original title of the book means failure. Why people fail in life? But I felt if I say "failure Christians" because of our faith confession, we will not read a book. Who wants to fail? One man of God said, "Somebody gave me a shirt. They had written 'Fade' on the shirt." He bent it. He said, "Me, you want my life to fade?" Somebody met a woman in a lift. He said, "Is the lift going down?" Said, "What do you mean?" "I don't go down, upward only." Board only. I said, "I mean a lift. I've been lifted already." So if you write a book and say "Fellow," I said, "Why should I read 'Fellow'?" The day you say you don't like something, you have denied yourself access into that thing you should like. Salad is not nice, you should like it. It's healthy. In this world, everything that is healthy is not nice. Sugar is nice. It's not healthy. Everything sweet, they say we should not eat it. Chicken, very nice. They say cholesterol. She's very powerful. They say, "Hey, what should we eat?" They said, "Leaves, plants." Things that are not nice and the things that are healthy. So as a pastor, you have to amplify your teaching. You must have a teaching service in the church. Forget about those who don't come. Always start. Some will come, some will not come. Anything you institute in the church, some will come, some will not come. If you are struck, just pick any of the books. You don't have to go there with the book. Just take pictures of it. Write your own notes and go and teach it. Any book that you, including the Bible, of course, mainly. That's how you start. That's how you start. Whatever you want to see in the church, teach it. Don't assume. "This my church members, they don't like giving." So start teaching giving in the church. When you ask, when you teach on giving, don't ask them to give. Let them know that it is a knowledge they must have, not an effort they must make. When you always ask them to give, at the time you are about to take, they will not understand the sermon. If people in the church don't come early, you have to teach it. If people in the church don't like coming to church, don't be angry. Take your time. Let them know why they should not miss church. So if a pastor does not have knowledge, he has disqualified himself. Because the basis of the ministry is knowledge. "They shall feed them with knowledge." "The lips of the priest must keep the law of God, that men may seek the law from him or knowledge from him." So a pastor has to be a learned man. Fatal mistakes of the ministry: not having a long-time commitment to learning. There should always be a book you are reading as a pastor. Always. Always. And there are three types of books. You should have a book that always shoots fire in your spirit. There are some books as soon as you read, you become spiritually excited. Have that one in your life. There is a book that teaches you what to do. Many books don't tell us what to do. And I have refused to write books like that. Anything I say, I show you how it must be done. Listen, instruction is very difficult to come by. Inspiration very difficult to come by. It is very difficult to receive inspiration from somewhere. Very difficult. It's not common. Have a habit of finding out and reading. That is the work of a pastor. If you read this book, "Tongues Beyond the Room," the book is a caretaking book, but it's like his son is the one who wrote it. He said if you read the foreword, he said they always woke up to see their father at the table. He would join them for breakfast. They would go to school and come back to see their father at the same table. Studying, studying, studying, studying. If you don't, I'm just showing you how to be a teacher. It is that there is nothing in the casing of the ring of a pope. A man laying hands on you will not make you a teacher. It is studying that makes you a teacher. Anybody who is a teacher means he studies because what are you going to teach? What you have studied? So pastor, you know me, I'm the praying type. I love prayer more than reading. That's like saying, pastor, me, I am the eating type. I don't like breathing. That's what I'm saying. You can't take some out. Do you understand it? We have just the points are 20. We are on one. So let me run through it.

Church planting is the work of an apostle. Apostolic works. We are done with apostolic order. Apostolic office, sorry. All of them together is called apostolic order. So you can say one, apostolic order, one, apostolic office. 1B, apostolic works, planting of churches. My dear pastors, all the pastors sitting here came from outside Ghana. If you decide that you are going back to your country to have 30 branches of your church, it will happen. It will happen. What is the point of having one when you can have six? At this point, I'm tempted to go to "Fatal Mistakes of the Ministry" and "Why Ministries Die." But let me put it this way. Jesus Christ relocated his ministry four times. Faces of the ministry. Sometimes the only way to have a big church is to have a branch. Pastor, is every pastor supposed to have a branch? No. So pastor, why should I have a branch when the Lord has not told me? Who asks for direction when there is already a command? Some of the things that we say it is not our calling. It is actually a denial of your expansion. That's why I said that a church may not work because of the mindset of it. Do you know some people think that having branches is, is some people that have been called into it? No, it is capacity that you don't have. The capacity is that you can't handle rebels. And if you don't build yourself the robustness to handle rebels, you can't have a branch. So it is not that God has not given you. It is because you are not prepared. It is called capacity. Jesus said we should go to the whole world. And you are asking, "Should I go?" That's why I said, "Who asks for direction when there's already a command?" The command is that we should go to the whole world. When you decide to go to the whole world, you are not deviating. The highest council of God is the written word. Causes of delay in the ministry: hesitating in the face of a clear command. What is the command? "Go to the whole world, make disciples of all nations." And he said, "I have not been called into branching." You don't understand. So you must build capacity. What is the capacity? Your ability to raise leaders, your ability to duplicate yourself, your ability to put your feet in different locations. That is what you must learn. And raising leaders is difficult. That is the first phase of the church. The first phase of the church is not church growing. A good number of us here, perhaps we are the phase we are in is not the phase to grow the church. You don't need to grow a church if you don't have leaders. The first phase of the church is raising leaders. And I've talked about how to raise leaders in "Church Systems and Structures" and also "The Work of the Ministry for Leadership." If you want to raise leaders, you must have a leadership school in your church. You can call it ministry school. You can call it stewardship school. You can call it service school. You can call it ministry school. You can call it pastoral training school. You can call it by any name. That institution should be in the church. A pastor that goes home 100 p.m. every Sunday, you are not ready to have a church. Son should not see your face in your house on a Sunday. But as soon as you close the church, that is when the schools of the church must begin. You must have special meetings in the church, different training trainings in the church. That's why I said some people are running the church like a crusade. That is a very big problem. Can you pastor a church for 5 years? And you don't have a training that raises elders for the church, a training that raises shepherds for the church, a training that raises pastors for the church? If somebody from another church comes into your church, you must go through your training. When the disciples left John to come to Jesus Christ, Jesus didn't say that you have received training already, so I'm building a church on you. He took them through the training. It's believed he was one of them. Somebody left the Anglican church to come to your church because he came with a clerical. You make him a pastor. That's how you destroy your church. He will break away. There is a culture. Oh man of God, please become, come and be doing prophetic services for me every Friday and let's share the offerings. Who is he? He's an outsider. He will destroy your church. Why? You are building, but not according to the pattern that was shown you.

Apostolic teachings, apostolic works, church planting, strengthening of believers. A pastor should not be discouraged all the time. It's wrong. The frustrations of a pastor should not be on his face. It should be in his heart. You should never come to the church looking sad. You can't encourage people when you yourself is discouraged. You should always come to the church excited, even though deep within you're unsatisfied. You're not satisfied. You're not satisfied. You have to learn to encourage them. Learn to set them on their feet. Learn to drive them, inspire them, push them. Defending the faith is the work of an apostle. This whole book is a defense to some of the useless lies that are being peddled around. "The Bible is the white man's book." Oh dear Lord, if the Bible was a book written by men, there wouldn't be only one Bible. There is no book like the Bible. Tell me one thing that men did and it was once. Even World War was not once. One thing it was only once. Human beings did it. Oh, what about the Tower of Babel? They didn't finish. They would have gone to the next one if they had done the first one. The pyramids in Egypt were not one. There is nothing extraordinary on this earth that is done once. Shakespeare doesn't have only one book. Mostly it's idol worshippers who become lecturers. They teach that the Bible is the book for a man. I have had idol worshippers teach me in my English class in the University of Ghana. How do you know they are idol worshippers? By what they believe. Anybody who believes in libation is an idol worshipper. Anybody who believes in ancestral worship is an idol worshipper. And you can see their faith in the thing they are telling us. And they give them microphones on social media stations and they speak, they spill rubbish. If we know what churches came to do, Osu Cemetery was built by for missionaries. When you go to school, when you go to Osu, you will see the Salem school there. The Salem Osu was a community that was established by missionaries from Switzerland. Ask the people who were sent to Fernando. If it was not the Basel Mission, what was it? It was the Basel. If you read Akosua PBI, he was my professor in the University of Ghana. She told us that it was the Basel missionary that brought cocoa to Ghana. She is a professor of history. Why did Tekquashi know that cocoa is useful? If it was not the Basel missionary from Switzerland, who were already eating chocolate in their country, how wouldashi, who is eating that king, know that there is something called chocolate? They are not telling us the truth. It is the missionaries that have helped us. It is how come that he built his cocoa in the eastern region? Because the east, Akropong is where the missionaries went to settle. Akropong is a missionary town by the Basel Missionary. They have Salem communities. Abokobi is one of them. Akropong is one. Osu is one of them. They were not towns that existed like the way Tema is. Kuma is the one who had established Tema. There was nothing like Tema by 1957. Nobody is from Tema. Kuma decided to build an industrial area for Ghana. The same way there was no place called Osu or Abok. Abokobi chief is installed in the Presbyterian church, and the people who are speaking rubbish have not even read the Bible. If you read the Bible, the conviction that is produced by the Bible will convict you of your own sin. They say, "We knew God before the coming of the white people." That's the uselessness that I don't want to mention that professor's name. She was also a lecturer in the University of Ghana. Who is God and what is God? They should tell us that our people knew God, not God. Because what we propose as God is one. There is no African traditional religion that proposes God as one. So how can somebody say that the God I'm talking about is short? This one said the God I'm talking about is tall, and it means the same God. How can two contradictory statements be true at the same time? So they knew something, but not God. Or they knew God, but we didn't know God, or we don't know God. Both of us cannot be right. That's apostolic ministry. Defending the faith. That's the work of. There are people in the church who criticize doctrine. You have to defend it. And I've seen a lot of people say that coming in the church by me, I don't give tithe. You have to defend the faith. I don't see why I cannot marry more than one. Now pastors are even preaching it. When Paul and Co were telling us that we should even not marry. Some people are saying we should marry six. If a professor of history has said something, it is received in court as an expert witness. It's an evidence to prove that somebody is mad. It is not the work of the judge. It's the work of an expert. And based on the witness of the expert, the person can be acquitted. If a dub says history is science, who am I? A mere 1100 student. If Aby said it was the Basel missionary that brought cocoa to Ghana, then we have been deceived in our history books and we have benefited from cocoa than eating gold in this country. We should go and thank them. They were eating chocolate long before they came here. They knew that because cocoa was not first planted in Ghana. Even that Fernando, it was not Ghana. So they knew the usefulness of that plant and they introduced it to us. We should be thankful to them. So our pastor, what about the exploitation? Exploitation was not done by white Christians. Exploitation was done by white politicians. The two are not the same. I'm defending the faith against lies that are being peddled around. I'm not interested in debate.

But number three, signs of an apostle. So we have seen number one, the apostolic works, apostolic office, or governance. Then apostolic signs and wonders. Signs of an apostle. According to 2 Corinthians 12:12, it says the signs of an apostle are fourfold. Number one, perseverance. That means persistence in the midst of adversity. When you give up, it's a sign you are not an apostle. Apostles don't give up. Crushed down but not perplexed. Number two, the signs of an apostle is in signs. I will explain signs. Signs and supernatural attestation of a man. What it means is that whatever you say in the church, when you see it, you are walking in apostolic signs. For instance, if you say that Jesus can prosper us, you must prosper. Your prosperity is a message to us. It's a testimony. The Bible said the Lord testified of them with signs. So apostles have testimonies. These signs here means testimonies from God. Number three, wonders. Wonders are extraordinary sights, awesome things. Wonders means supernatural acts. Wonders means seeing that which cannot be seen naturally. Doing that which cannot be done naturally. It is possible to become a billionaire without being a Christian. But it is not possible to lay hands on a sick person and the tumor vanishes from his body. That is supernatural. And that is the work of an apostle. So when you have money, that is not a wonder. But when you raise the dead, that is a wonder. And that is the work of an apostle. Apostle is the one empowered to do things which are not naturally done or naturally possible. And you must have apostolic signs, apostolic wonders. Then he says, mighty deeds. Mighty deeds are extraordinary works. Bishop O is building the biggest church. He's getting to 80 years. I think it's a mighty deed. Nobody dreams in his old age. That is why in the last days, old men shall dream dreams to restore a supernatural order. There are certain ways they are done by young people. Young, young people, young people, young people. I saw a bishop that prayed 10 hours on his platform. I think that is a mighty deed at his age. What energy is that? Recently, I had the opportunity to and I asked that, what is it? Because sometimes we are tempted to think that there's a secret somewhere. At your age, even people who are in their 30s cannot stand and pray for hours. The energy drink they will take afterwards. I think it's a mighty deed. Mighty deed. A Ghanaian pastor planted a church in over 100 countries and it's not even up to 17 years. He did that before 60. I think it's a mighty deed. It's a sign of an apostle. I'm talking apostolic works, signs, wonders, perseverance, mighty deeds. At your age, you can feel the stereo. Mighty deeds, mighty deeds, mighty deeds, mighty deeds, mighty deeds, mighty deeds. Let's run the next point. Are you following? Number three, sorry, four. Apostolic authority. Apostolic authority is manifest through rulership. That is rulership in the church exercised as spiritual governance. Paul described elders who rule well, that they should be counted worthy of double honor. Rulership, there are five constituents of a ruler. So, lawgiving. Lawgiving is prescribing rules and regulations. For instance, until you finish the pastoral school, you will not be made a pastor in the church. Lawgiving. Until you have been in the church for at least three years, you can't be made a pastor in the church. Lawgiving. Until you finish the new convert school, you cannot be made a shepherd. Lawgiving. All that Moses did were evident of his lawgiving ministry. So an apostle has authority. Authority is manifest in rulership. And there are five cardinal aspects of rulership. Number one is giving of laws, regulations, instructions. That is the work of a pastor. Don't watch things to go. Things are going off and you are quiet. Where is your rulership? The scatter of rulership. Scatter means authority. Somebody's in the church. He is he he's socializing all the sisters and you are watching. Didn't you see what happened to Eli? God placed a curse. No priest will ever come out of your house and nobody will grow old. The last priest of the house of Eli was Abiathar. No priest. Why? You did not punish your children and you honored them and dishonored me. One person, if he doesn't come to church, he picks the keyboard and locks it. Puts password on it. Nobody can bring the keyboard. Is the church for his ancestors? He takes the camera of the church to go and do shabu. When, where is the camera? He has taken it to Kofia to catch somebody's wedding. And the pastor is sitting there. Two sisters in the choir are fighting. They are destroying the church. Sy and what? You, you, you there and you Paul mentioned, you will not mention it. You should call the two sisters. I have heard and it is reported among you. Paul taught us that authority, a pastor must act on reports. Anybody who comes to tell me something based on the issue, I can cover or uncover your name. Man who says you have done this. I don't like trying to say somebody is saying something and create unnecessary remorse and tension. And I've taught the church that if you have to become an enemy for the church to be right, you are right. Somebody is misbehaving and you are not saying it. Loyalty does not withhold information. When you read my book on honor, there is a chapter on why it is difficult to relate with pastors. Oh, I think I have to pass through this book before I go. I just want to come back because there's no time. Yes. It is a great dishonor and disloyalty to somebody in the church. He is he's married with three children secretly and he's about to marry another lady in the church. You know it, kept quiet. But you know the church dwells on rumor. This is not rumor. This is fact-finding mission. That is rulership. That is rulership. The pastor is the king in the Old Testament. Kings.

Kings in the Old Testament are pastors in the New Testament. That is the revelation.

Solomon was a pastor. So you understand David was a pastor. Aha was a pastor whose wife was the one ruling the church. When he has fought with all the church members, your wife is destroying the church. You know our mommy, our mommy J. So don't worry, the qualification of being a priest is your ability to rule your house. Well, if your wife is in rebellion, you are the one who is in charge. God would never accuse her. It is only the judgment day whether she was righteous or not to go to hell. But whatever that she succeeded in stopping you from doing, you did not exercise authority.

"Pastor, what if when I thought she doesn't listen?" "Why did you marry a woman who doesn't listen?" "Oh pastor, what are you saying?" If everything we say is what they do, will we be here, his own children, being his subish? These are all qualifications of a bishop. So it's a clear morning, it's not clear afternoon, and you are driving care morning from a tool. But the time you get to is on fire, it's already falling. The car. Most marriages in pastors' marriages are caused by their choice. See, one of the greatest problems is when pastors who have good marriage decide to preach on marriage. The thing is choice, not strategy. >> Some wives are naturally submissive. You don't teach them. I want to ask you, if you decide to sing and you are the best singer, you sing to deaf and dumb, will you be crowned the best rapper? So it's not a good voice, it is a hearing ear that is missing. I have seen pastors who give money to their wives and still their wives are not pleased. I have seen wives do everything a woman is supposed to do, yet their husbands are difficult. That's an error. Most of the suggestions you give in marriage, it doesn't work everywhere. It's the choice you make. Instead of choosing, going to choose whatever you see, you will know.

Number two, he's a judge. I'm talking about rulership. In rulership, there is judgment. So, a lawgiver establishes doctrines and decrees. Acts 15:28. He's also a judge. He certain disputes and correct error. Acts 5:1-11. Acts 15:6-7.

Number three is defense and protection. A ruler is a protector of the people. He protects his people. Protection, defending and guarding the flock against wolves and false teachings.

Number four, he's a guide. He guides churches and care and instructs the church. Acts 20. All the reasons I'm quoting from us is because we are looking at apostolic church.

Now, my last number five, a ruler is a vision bearer. One of the things I don't understand is when there is a problem and the politician says that, "Let us help in solving it." "We can't help you to stop galami. That is why we have given you soldiers. We have given you police." And you are telling me a civilian that we should help in solving gam? How is that possible? Stop misbehavior and solve the. No amount of help from us can solve ECG. That's why we voted for you. If you can't bear the vision, listen, it is the work of a leader to drag the nation to the place the nation is supposed to go. You can't say that we should be disciplined. You discipline us. You ship us into order. Somebody has killed somebody related to a politician. In less than one week, the p the people have been arrested. How come that when it happens to me, they can't arrest the person? Within one week, they have arrested all the people who did the killing. >> What kind of madness is this than me? Listen, how come 21st century people can steal phones and use it in the country? People can steal cars and use it in the country. If they steal the car of a politician tomorrow, the person will be arrested. But if they steal your car, nobody will be arrested. Why? You are the vision. You tell us. You have the machinery to solve the problem. They don't care. I don't get it. Why should somebody use steal somebody's phone? What is MTN and Buddha of doing in our country? How come that we can't have access to even the location of our phones when somebody steals it? Why should these things be? There is no serious country you can use that you can steal a phone and use the phone in the country. That's why when they steal your phone in America, they bring it to Nigeria and Ghana. I've been seeing somebody stole car and they are driving it around in their. What is wrong with us? Because of they cut somebody's hand, they bring that. What is all this? Because our leaders don't care. It doesn't care. Oh Jesus. That's why if a pastor is following politician sometimes I wonder if if his head is correct. I'm the one who said this about this one. I'm the one. All the people who said about politician before you, what did they do for them? They ended up going after them. And the pastor will not learn. Stay away from politicians and prophesying to them. Pastors, stay away. You will preserve your ministry. Fatal mistakes of the ministry, playing around people with power. >> They will collapse your church. It is a kingdom of Satan. But it's a young boy that is talking. That is why I'm speaking to young ministers. >> I can't talk about. I can't talk to elderly leaders. Please, if you are listening to me, I'm not talking to elders. I'm talking about young ministers. It's children that we are talking. It's children that we are having conversation. All the adults, we are not talking about you. We are talking about children. I'm saying young men and young women, stay away from politicians. Don't join a political party. Don't follow them. Don't go to their house to pray for them. It is wrong. They will use you and abuse you. And in the end, listen, I had the opportunity to talk to Bishop. Dr. Papa took us to go and see him. He sat in front of us and said, "My sons, I want to give you a counsel. Stay away from politicians." All my friends who started the ministry with me and started following all of them, their ministries have been destroyed. >> Count it. Wow. Who said it? >> Who said it? I have read it. Written exams on it. That's the foundation of the politics in our country. What happened today? We are marking over two. If Kam had honored God, he would have been honored. Look at how his party has been wiped out. There will never be a CPP in this country. Why? The person who built the foundation did not honor God. He was in school. It was Christians' money that built school. That's why you see Slesa House and Mlesa, they were all missionaries. They took him abroad with tithe and offerings. He came back worshiping idols when he met Hasi. I'm not in chromised, neither am I antinoma. I believe that is the greatest president Ghana has ever had. But he did not lead us to serve God. We don't know why. He said he went to Kumas, he shook handkerchief and somebody who was attack with a knife dropped the gun and he fell down. He went to Hillas's place. A liar was about to attack him. He shook his ankle. It is in his book. He has a chapter in the book there, something problem he narrated. I think we should forget about these things and let's focus on our teaching. >> Next point, please. Take your seat. If he has honored God, he would look the respect he deserved. We have not even given him one tenth of. Cuz those who honor will I honor, and those who despise shall be lightly esteemed. See, people cannot have elections in Ghana have 100,000 votes. Why? If politicians depend only on their salaries, they cannot give to anybody. So as he's giving to, where is he getting the money from? Are you a pastor? And you celebrate these things and tomorrow you are in problem? What? This is what they you see, most pastors don't know this trap. I will say it. This is what they do. This is what they do. When you get close to them, they will cover you to do shady deals. And when you try to stay away from them, they'll blackmail you. They'll put you on some board, make you spend some money, nobody will talk. But the day you try to rise against them, they will come after you. Pastors, let's be careful. It's more honorable to serve God wholeheartedly. Serve God with a good heart. Please, I'm preaching to young pastors. If you are older than me and you are listening to me, what I'm saying is not for you. I'm saying that young people that are younger than me or my age, may please, I'm advising you as your younger brother or colleague brother. I do not exercise myself in things higher than me. If president mama was my friend, maybe I would have enjoyed. But the enjoyment, where will it come from? Hello. I would love to have the president as my uncle. Oh yes. But what I'm saying is that they are operating in a system, and that system is programmed to be against God. I can imagine so many of them, but you don't know who is listening. Yeah. Focus on your church. Focus on your church. Please, I beg. Focus on your church. Oh, they have called me. They are going to do a prayer meeting for honorable in his garden, please. That's how they bring. So, but are we not supposed to pray for them? Did you see Herod calling Jesus Christ? And Jesus went. >> He said, "Go and tell that fox, if you need prayer, you come to me. Number two, apostolic doctrines. Number one is apostolic order. In that order, there is apostolic office, governance, and adjudication. There is the works of an apostle. Number three, there is the science of an apostle. Number four, the authority of an apostle.

Number two, apostolic doctrine. The apostolic doctrine is the single most authoritative dispeller of doctrine in the church. The apostles' doctrine was the highest standard of teaching in the early church. Every doctrine had to be measured against what the apostles taught. No minister was permitted to teach anything contradictory. If you are here, you you you came here with your senior pastor, it is wrong for you to teach something that comes into your head. You teach what your senior pastor is teaching. The senior pastor's focus is teaching on building the church. He has trouble. He gave you one opportunity and I'm preach on the repentance of Satan. Because you want to sound extraordinary, grand, that you want to sound deep. >> We are built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets. If you are an assistant and follower of a minister, you are building on his foundation. You do what your father is doing. You saw this guy coming to stand here doing exposition on the books. Did you see he was reading from the book? Were you not impressed? >> When this boy said it's time and he was here, I said leave him. I'm enjoying it. Because he has written exams on the books. You are my student. If you don't know my doctrine, you don't deserve to follow me. Said Paul, you you told Timothy, you know my manner of life, my doctrine. If this guy doesn't know the temperament of my wife, he's not a good follower. He should know the birthday of my children. That makes you a follower of a minister. Why is that all his children are born in July? His conscience, you must ask. So when you back it 9 months in that season, it's his period of joy. Bless him in that season. The intellectual. Wow. I talk about how people become rebels in the church. One of them is that they do not do the intellectual work of following. Why people become rebels in the church? They don't do that kind of work. You have to be a student of your pastor. He's an apostle. You build on his foundation. What the church believes is what you you emphasize in the absence of your pastor. If you follow your pastor very well, you know his burden, you know his heart cry, you know the things that are important to him. When you get opportunity to stand in front of the church, that is what you also emphasize. That is what is called oneness of faith. Now your pastor is teaching on this. So I tonight I I want to preach on revival. Just one se you have turn yourself into reverence is you should another just one opportunity your senior pastor gave you. You are drunk in the spirit. If your pastor is the one praying for healing the church and he prays with songs, you have to sing songs he likes, cuz it is hystering that brings the miracle, not your edification. You must know the songs your pastor likes. If you're a singer and you want to sing for long in the church, one day I went to a church, somebody was about. I say, "Hey, hey, hey, I can't hear you." Many pastors are in pain because of the assistance they have. But the assistants have not been trained on how to assist. Yeah. Why should an assistant compete with a pastor? Peter was not competing with Jesus. It was Jesus that told him to come. He didn't jump on the sea to try it. That he also has supernatural powers. And by the way, who sank? It was not Jesus. It was Peter. Sometimes certain highways are made for certain people. The the the the Egyptians didn't know that that highway in the sea was made for the Jews. At least there should be something that distinguish the two of us. Do you know I actually started by having name tag when it come found of the church. It was by name tag at the point I realized that it was not. So I said change the chairs. So my pastor does it mean that if your chair looks different, you are so different from us? No. It means that we respect our pastor and we have reserved something for him. In my house. One day some people I travel, they came to pick me from there, but they took me to my house. One of them sat somewhere. My son told me that is daddy's chair. I was shocked. In the house, you don't have daddy's bed, daddy's bathroom. There has to also be daddy's car, daddy's chair. Ah, if you come and guess people are sleeping in the bedroom, won't you say, "Hey, it's reserved. It is reserved. Why don't they say that? Okay, this is the bedroom, but today you are not sleeping. Go and sleep in the other bedroom and let me also sleep here." No, it's reserved. It's reserved. Reuben didn't understand it. We can never and ever destroy Satan by his weapons he gives us. Betting is satanic. Whatever money you get out of bing is from the spirit called mammon. There is a book maybe because of some of the sensitive things in the book. I will not mention the t, but let me tell you the story in the book. The book is written by a professor of demonology. He did almost 40 years of research into demonism, South Africa, Nigeria, but he's a white man. Is a Canadian. And people who are into higher ranks in satanic or satanism. He has interviewed all of them and have been made to they mention names of spirits. I'm not saying people who have repented, people who are into it. And the consistency of their story and everything. It's a very big book. It is in that book, one of the people he interviewed was an awkward grandmaster who was telling him that one of his specialty is in Tubetan and he is in charge. And he mentioned the name of the spirit, and he said that spirit is called Mammon. I was shocked. He mentioned that Satan has eight spirits he rules the whole world with. He mentioned all the names of the eight. One of them was Bel, but one of them was Mmon. So you can never and ever defeat Satan with his weapons. Money that is gotten out of evil means will never last. That is why the Bible says it to fly away.

Significance. Now I'll jump here. A body of instructions that is passed on to the church. For instance, in the Pentecost church, women are supposed to cover their hair. It's a doctrine that is emphasized. It was passed on from the apostles. There is a history behind it. The history is that one of the first observations of the apostolic mission is that the place I don't want to use colonial Africa. It sounds so some way. We were practicing nudity. I I reference it. So they decided that they have to preach a gospel that is tailored towards helping people to cover their nakedness. Their breast showing their private, adults, grown-ups. Even now, they began to emphasize on certain aspects of the Bible. So they started prescribing what pastors should wear. Wear suit, cover your hair, cover yourself. And has become a doct now. People preach only on skirt, trousers, women should know. It is a it is a dispensational gospel. It was used as a tool to correct an error of a particular age. It doesn't mean you should dress any. That's what I'm saying. But the overemphasis on women should not wear this, men, all of those things were the foundation of missionary activities in Africa because we were just naked. So what I'm saying is that an aos will pass on practices. If your senior pastor said we wear t-shirt, wear some. Don't have problem with it. Why? Because he has the right to pass on tradition, culture, customs, and practices that is apostolic. So they said that for I don't know now, but in Assemblies of God, if you don't wear suit and tie, you can't preach on a Sunday. Yes. This the same with the church of Pentecost, except maybe now they have changed things, but in those days, you could not wear normal shirt. It's not allowed. So it is a practice that have been passed on. It's the work of an apostle to do that. There are certain practices that must be passed on to the church. That is the place of an apostle. Number three, fellowships. I said number one, apostolic ministry, apostolic doctrine. Number three, fellowships, apostolic order of ministry. These are patterns that have been laid or presented to us. I don't know if I can. Okay. The word fellowship means to share, to participate, or to commune. It means the church should be designed such that there is sharing, there is participation, there is partnership, there's communion of every member. One of the work of a church pastor is to fight against isolation. There are people in the church who are missing. Even if somebody can be a pastor, he doesn't involve himself in the things the pastors do in the church. It is wrong. It is the work of the pastor to ensure that that thing is done. If the person is always not, you should suck the person. He is a time bomb. Anyway, this describes practical bond that must exist among the church. A pastor of a church should constantly fight isolation among members, and members of the church should work towards church work. Why? What it means to have fellowship in the church? It means departmentation in the church. The early church was not monolithic. It was a living organism made up of apostles, disciples, elders, deacons, deacons and saints, prophets, teachers, missionaries, wives, widows, house fellowships, etc. These were groups that existed in the church. Until you have until you have couples fellowship, you can never teach some things in the church because it must come and come to the point of why wives don't give sex to their husbands or why husbands don't have time for sex with their wives. You can't stand on a Sunday morning said, "Today I want to talk about wives, why husbands don't have sex." >> Do you think that the church would be happy with you? >> So you create special groups in the church. For instance, some of the things we teach in church as pastors is wrong. We have come to church. We are not here to make money. We are here to go to heaven. But there are people in the church who are interested in money. Create business fellowship and teach money there. So this everyday preaching on money, the church will be will have problem. Listen, if you preach on missions, missions, missions, missions every Sunday, there will be a big problem because some people know, even if Jesus appears to them and told them they have been called, they will say that, "No, I have to get money." So you create a pastoral fellowship or a missions fellowship. For instance, in the co, I started a mission school in the church. Good. A good number of the people who were part of the mission school are now branch pastors of this church. That was where I was telling you sacrifice, die for Jesus. They have passion to die for Jesus. They have passion to go all out for Jesus. Is in fellowships. You have to have children's department in a church. So they share. They could be sharing tophins to the adult church. Hello. That's fellowships, people groups, and that existed in the early church. There was the fellowship of apostles. When they met, they discuss apostolic issues. It has been heard that the Holy Spirit that fell upon us has fallen upon the Gentiles. Wow. Do you know that Peter had to go and defend it to the apostles that he didn't do any error by baptizing them? He had to tell them that it's not my fault. As I was preaching that the Holy Spirit that fell upon us in chapter 2, that we started speaking in a fellow in the house of Cornelius. So when I saw it, I could not resist. So I baptized them. If he had not defended it, he would have been excommunicated. There were a lot of errors in the early church. That's why even God killed Ananas and Sapphira. One of the error is that they delayed in sending the gospel to the Gentiles. Peter was so pretending over the distribution of resources of the church to feed the church only. They even had to set a whole department for feeding the church. And when later they realized that the thing is becoming too much, said, "No, we don't want to serve again." Do you know that it was Peter and Co who were doing the jol of rice? Then they said, "No, no, no, we will not serve tables again. Let's choose seven men full of the Holy Spirit, Steven, who have Nicholas and Philip, seven." Then they handed over that ministry to them. They kept cooking every day and not sending the gospel to the Gentiles. When God killed Ananas Safira, there was a new face of the church. They came to themselves, "Something is wrong somewhere." But when you assess the team very well, me, I don't think that they did anything bad. H they went to sell something. It was 500. They said the thing I sold it was 300. My own money. My own house I sold. But God wanted to draw their attention to something. They they could not understand that the Gentiles are part of the plans of God. Hidden Peter when he met with the Gentiles, he still couldn't mingle with them. That's why Paul rebuked him. Yeah. So there has to be groups in the church. I am not saying that they should be named and left there. I'm saying that they should be named and they should be active. You, the pastor, you are a member of every department in the church. What it means is that sometimes you should just come to the choir rehearsal only with the chorusers, cuz you're a member of it. It is a fellowship. There are some people they not interested in praying. They interested in singing. Listen, some people they interested in prayer. When you start praying, they become committed in the church. H you humble humble humble hom create a fellowship. Even though all of us are supposed to pray, create fellowship of pray men. Yeah, it is a fellowship in the church. Have professionals in the church. All the nurses, put them in one group and they organize something. Let the nurses become relevant. It's not because people are sick. They should just come like our church building. A good number of things were done by professionals in the church. Yes. Because there's a fellowship like that. We have even a fellowship. As soon as you get pregnant, you are put on that platform. Everybody, there's a doctor and a nurse. Anything you want to ask about your pregnancy, they will be correct. They will be guiding you. So some of the things that you don't have to go to the hospital, they come here till you give birth. As soon as you give birth, you are removed from it. There's a group. As soon as you marry, they add you to it. They discuss things, talk. It's a fellowship that is going on. The shepherds in the church is a fellowship. The pastors is a fellowship. Sometimes you should have meeting with only pastors. That's all. Lawyers in the church. We have we have a legal team in the church. It's made up. How many lawyers now? Be five or Yeah. Six of them. Yeah. They are lawyers. They have gone to court for us several times. Our church in Abbea was taken to court. Yes. Yes. Somebody came to hit my car with an okada. It was a lawyer in church who has been following up. Man, she even went there. Yeah. I had to go and take some one of the lawyers. People is the one who went to the. I realized that when you go as a pastor, they don't respect you. But when the lawyer come, they respect them. One of my church pastors was arrested over some issue to the countman's police station. When we were sitting there, they didn't even mind me. When the lawyer come, "Oh, council, you have come. Pastor, please let the council sit down." What do you mean? What do you mean? Do you know they actually insisted that I should rather go out and the lawyer said she would never sit down. That's my bishop. Okay, then go and find another child and bring it to counselor. I said, "People are not serious." With my apostolic regalia, I should vacate my seat for my church member. You have defaced the reputation of the priesthood. So we encourage them. Right now, I'm starting a fellowship of online businessman. The leader is this pastor. He's a nurse. Yes. >> He told me that he makes more money online than the nursing and he has come to me that he wants to stop. And I said, "Don't stop. Wait." So anybody wants to do online business, I said, "Go and see him." And he's training people in the church. >> Listen, the pastor is not only to cast out devils. Sometimes we cast out poverty. The church must have every. Listen, there are people who have made money genuinely in the church. This girl, she did what? What did you do in school? Get up and >> translation. French and what? Meanwhile, she's almost a manager at her workplace. She works an insurance company, but she has her own shop that she sells these things. Do you think that this pastor's wife will rebel against me? She's part of the church business. I heard that she even does make up for delay. >> The one on TV recently said, "Pastor, I want to go to the university." I said, "Wonderful, but don't throw away the business. Education is the key." But you only open if there's a padlock. And what is the program again? >> Um so actually I I applied for diploma I got it but I should do a degree. So right now I have >> pastor said you see the shephering. So right now I have >> and I said that in this church we don't do no deck. You see the university has a policy that somebody who is 25 years if he has never been to school before he write an entrance exams called mature and you be given a degree program to do. So I said wait when you get to 25 years do the mature exams. There's a gentleman who has done it and now he's doing degree in something something that one too was also somebody who was working on the roadside and somebody said can you be a dispatch rider? He started with bicycle to distribute things. They bought a bike for him. Now he's doing a degree program. His first school is the church. Is the one that paid. He he plays trumpet in this church and now he's doing a degree program. This girl too is 25 years. She will do the degree program. So she will not even have. She will not need her secondary school certificate. These are things I've taught them in the church. My children are downstairs. My wife is at the back there. When we are going home and my children see this girl, they said they will not go home. Today, God is my witness. My baby was sleeping. I will go with Auntie Josie in the night. She was dreaming about Auntie Josie. Shouting at him. Why? He gathers all the children, buys stuff to buy things that I don't want them to eat, she buys them. So they like her more than me. Fellowships. Listen, if we want to raise business people in the church, we have to separate them from the rest. Or else you cannot have enough time to always be talking about business. We have so many things to talk about. We have to talk about church planting. We have to talk about missionary work. We have to talk about pastor's work. Through plenty things serving God, winning souls, cell system. So we have to separate them and create special groups in the church. That is the pattern the early church gave us. How do you know? They separated the widows, created a system to take care of widows, separated the apostles, separated the disciples. The disciples were not. They were only 12 as in because when they were given the criteria for choosing maid, those who are follow, they were disciples. But they were not disciples by title. They were disciples by works. They were also people who work with them. They were also special category of people. Some of them they were later also appointed as deacons. In Poland era, he also introduced elders, special people groups. Special people in this church. Anybody who is into restaurants, you are part of the hospitality ministry of the church. Most of the food they are serving in this conference are church members businesses. It will take a lot of time. So I I think you understand what I'm saying. So let's create fellowships in the church. Do you know that most of them I don't know them. People think that they are church members. My mess to the point that this afternoon somebody called me from the US that he's sorry for not coming for the whatever whatever, but he has not seen the thing online. And I said, "Oh, but when I was preaching, they put it on the screen that is online." When I as they said that if they upload it, others will post it before us. I said, "Forget it and put it." And I said, "There is this girl who has been posting in the church." So I saw one of her videos and I sent it to this pastor and I sent it to the media guy that girl, they should call her and let her be part of the media people because the way she runs the commentary, you your you'll be you'll be formatted whatever you look at the entrance. She's not a leader in the church or to she's even in our branch church. Her husband is even at the back. >> Jesus is the one standing. I didn't know that she she does. So when I saw the thing, I said, "The thing looks nice." Have you wondered why some pastor whatever whatever. Do you know that this conference, how many people did you register for this conference through you? I think Friday can tell. Even on our platform, over 50 something pastors, almost 90 pastors contacted her through her videos. I said, "Really?" I'm setting a fellowship of bloggers in the church. There are people have come from all over the world for this conference. Yes. >> So I called her now because some of the some of your church members, they're always online. Let them do something about the church. So you create it as a fellowship. You engage them. You talk to them and don't pay them because they love being on the internet. There are some of the things maybe I say some people be uncomfortable. I'm not even online. The last time I opened Facebook was 2019. It was January this year that I downloaded Tik Tok because of my media people and I don't even have an account on any social media platform. I am born before technology. It was even one spirit father who was always putting pressure on me that the things you teach, you should put it online. You have to preach the kingdom everywhere. But these people are the ones that are sending the message around. I'm not on social media. Most of the things that are going on that mean I don't know. I don't know who the pastor now what they are preaching. I don't know. But there are people in the church. I'm not saying that is good. No, no, no. I've never done Facebook live before in my life. I don't know how to do it. I've never.

Done Zoom before. A pastor asked me to preach on a Zoom platform. They had to come and install Zoom on my phone for me. And that's the last time all the pastors in this church, we've never done Zoom before.

Our church service mostly are not even online. If you go like you see there's no chest there after why because I'm not good into it. Maybe there are better people in the church. I should let them do it.

Fellowships. Separate full-time pastors from lay pastors in the church or else they will corrupt the full-time pastors. Even when you see that a full-time pastor is getting very close to a lay pastor, you should come and separate them.

Yes, I talk about the f the relationships of a full-time pastor in this book. It is wrong for a full-time pastor to walk with people who are not full-time pastors. They will change your conviction in this book before you realize your full-time pastor is selling killing women.

My assistant pastor one day came to see me that he has started selling Kelly Willie and it's called Kelly Park. I said man of God, I thought we are doing full-time ministry together. He said, "Pastor, the suffering is too much." This pastor, this pastor, before I realized he was selling suits. He goes to tutu, takes secondhand suits, goes to the laundry, touches it, and he started selling to the boys. I said, "My brother."

Then he started recruiting potential church planters. Now say, "What was the accountant procurement?" All of a sudden, I saw one of my pastors, he started selling brooch called Brooch Africa. Pastor Charles. "Hey, what is happening?" Then another one too started. I don't know what to start. Before I realize, I realized I was the only one in the ministry. When it's time for bre, when he said this, "Oh, he's in tudu, we are going for evangelism." What is this person? He's they started reading Napoleon Hillard, Robert Kiyosaki, The Richest Man in Babylon, Napoleon Hill. They starting all these things. It's not a joke.

So I said that the spotted sheep should be separated from the peel sheep. So I created full-time pastors and I was meeting only them and I started teaching them why they have to be convinced on the path they have chosen. This year I've given them the church, they should buy a land and build their own house. That's my assignment for them. How they do it? They should come to me and say, "Pastor, how do we do it?" And I'll show you how I did it. Renting is not good. I didn't know that I was not sleeping well until I entered my own house. And I realized that you sleep different. The first time I entered my house, my wife hugged me, "I'm proud of you." I said, "Jesus, if this is the kid, then why didn't I do it very early?"

You have to also separate the lay pastors. This one is a lay pastor. He's trying to make himself full pastor. I said, "No." Sometimes he pays bills for the full-time pastors. And you say you're going to stop for the where all the boys said, "Pastor will not allow you to come to full time." Don't try it. Don't try it. I heard Steven say he's going to do full time and I saw something warning him, "Hey, the Lord knows those who are." What do you mean you want to do full time? Who has called you? Pastor, no pastor in the church will allow you to do full time. Nobody. He has a career business and also into drones and things. He gets a lot of money from it. Almost everything we have to buy. Oh, pastor paid for it. Pastor, pay for it. Pastor, the people who came to fly this bar, the the metal that is holding the speaker is 10,000 CDs. No, not the speaker. The speaker one is 42,000 cities. Only one, including this one. If you can go and Google the name of the speaker DB whatever T8, then oh pastor, I paid for the cables. And I showed them number one, how to build multiple streams of income and alternative source of income. Alternative is one, multiple home is more. So you cannot depend that if your salary is not up to 10,000, you are not working. You're doing attachment and 10,000 is less than $1,000, maybe $900. What will you do with it? That's all we teach. I teach that if anybody is a wife in the church and the person does not have a job, the husband has a breakthrough. Because you have an opportunity to make a million by creating a business. I have just started pastor's wife's fellowship. How that they can have alternative and multiple source of income to help the home.

Fellowships. These two guys, I have never paid them. The work they do in this church, there is no way they can do a very big business because look at the whole morning they are here. They'll be here till Friday. On Sunday, they do all the three services. So these people, how can you? When when people are fighting that churches should you pay instrumentalists and things, they should not even discuss it. They're not in the church. My vision to them is that I want to get a car for them to do Uber. Then when it's time for the church service, if they did, there's a church service, they don't do the Uber. I've never paid them. There is no instrumentalist in the church that is paid. Huh? We are enjoying. Oh yes, we are enjoying. We are blessed. The one behind is married. His wife has a baby about how many months now? Three and a half months. His cheeks is not a son of a poor man. Do you know what I'm doing in the church? I said that we have to create children instrumentalists in the church. It's a new fellowship. So every child should pay 100 CDs every month so that my child pay 500 CDs to play keyboard. Up to date, he doesn't know keyboard in his school. So I said every child should pay 100 C. If we have four, 50 children in the church and there are more who decides to pay 100 CDs to learn keyboard, that means every month 5,000 CDs goes to this boy. And this can become a full-time. And my assignment is that they are pastors. They should never think of anything. They are pastors.

What is the name of your cell? Why do you do it? Yes, by saying they they have a wholesale. Whatever our cell system is, is is a different way. So that it's like he's a pastor. He has sheep, he's handling. How many are they? Your sheep? Three pages for your sheep. The list page has 30 people. So it means that every Sunday this person is likely to bring over 50 people to church. I heard of success that she is like, how many sheep do you have? 100. Over 100. Why is it important to categorize the church members into categories of fellowship? Number one, because of common interest. There are certain people, they are not interested in everything. They're interested in one thing. So, they should be concentrated there. It's also to maintain rank. Elder is not the same as a a deacon. In our church, elders are higher than deacons. Number four, breaking of bread. So we are saying that there's a pattern the apostles laid for us. One of the pattern is that in the church, there has to be fellowships. Number three, in the church, there has to be breaking of bread.

The church was not established solely for spiritual purposes. It was also a cultural revolution. In some churches, you can easily identify their members because a distinct culture binds them together. If you check my church systems and structures for church culture, I've said that many charismatic churches seem unidentifiable as the elements of cultural identity and bonding appear to be missing. It is difficult to draw someone away from a church that has a recognizable culture. Listen, it's almost impossible to win a Jehovah's Witness to your church. It is extremely difficult to win somebody who is a Catholic to your church. Adventist. Why? Because it is not just a place they go to clap your hands. It's a culture they have. You can't wash the spots on a leopard, no matter the soap you use. Some people will never like these your contemporary songs. These coral is when they hear, they start crying hymns. So there is a cultural element. And when you have a church like that, do you know that it's very difficult to get somebody from Lighthouse to your church? Except you don't do evangelism. When the person says, "Like I'm from Lighthouse," simply means you can't, you can't change me. If you don't take the web, turn you into their cell leader. I have never been able to. It's not it's not possible. Some people when they tell you, "Church of Pentecost is like that." It's becoming like that. Church of Pentecost, one of the churches, they orient their church members. You can't go here. You can't go here. They say it. And you're a shepherd. You can't tell your church members not to follow something online. Your church members are listening to a man in Nigeria. And I said, "There's no tight." Is in your church after he has gotten breakthrough? Some doctrines are only preached by pastors who have made it. You have to descend voices. Some of the pastor, the thing they teaching now, if they are taught it some time ago, they wouldn't have the church they have. Yeah. They have made it. There are churches all over. When you see a man teaching something he has not been teaching from the beginning, it may be a sign that he has already finished eating. This is not an inspiration. This is a word to your wife. Yeah.

Hallelujah. Breaking of bread. So what I'm saying is that eating together establishes a culture in the church. Anyway, let me let me run to something since my time is up, but I should add one more. It is difficult. Yes, sharing meals as a church creates more than fellowship. It establishes a cultural bond that strengthens identity, unity, and even a sense of belonging. Breaking bread continuously and effectively is a cultural anchor that reinforces the life of the church. The early church model of breaking of bread. One of the pastors was asking that the breaking of bread, is it the same as the communion? When you study the scriptures very well, it was not the same. In fact, the communion was supper. The last supper was actually a dinner. They came to eat. But there was a ritual Jesus did before the eating. There was a culture of continuous eating in the church. Are you here? All right. So the church left us a clear model of breaking bread and eating together. Some churches will wonder how to provide food and when to provide the food and all of that. I'm just trying to Okay. So there I will suggest three forms of breaking bread activities in the church. Now, breaking bread as a fellowship among believers. If the church is a family, then we must eat together. The family that eats together says together. And the church does not necessarily have to fund eating activities from the church coffers. There are creative ways to practice breaking of bread. I'm coming to suggest some of them. Then we close.

Number two, breaking bread as an outreach to outsiders. I said number one, breaking of bread as fellowship among the believers. Number two, as an outreach to outsiders. Number three, breaking bread in expressing the Lord's love.

12 major examples of breaking of bread. Number one, through the hospitality ministry of the church. A church should try as much as possible. I don't know how you call it. You can call it the culinary ministry of the church, the hospitality or protocol, any nice name that you have. But the essential thing is that it is a ministry that is created to be in charge of eating in the church. What does that ministry do? Number one, they can sell finger foods in the church. I thought the the eating together is free. The purpose is not how we get it. The purpose is getting food to eat. Whether we bought it to eat or were given to us for free, we are eating. That's the focus. So if you don't even have a church building, you cannot have a kitchen. I think you can have a kebab stand by that roadside and roast kebab, sell some drinks, snacks, finger fruits in the church. Make sure there is eating in the church. It will affect the church. Number one, it makes people find work to do in the church. There are certain people, they will become committed if certain duties are specifically assigned to them. Number two, so number one, hospitality ministry in the church will provide small chops or finger foods. This encourages members to stay after the church service, converse and build deeper fellowship. Everybody, when they close from church, in a hurry to go because they're hungry. Like there's something they can find to eat. As they stay around, they talk to each other. Friendship is being born. Listen, a person becomes more committed to a church he has a friend in than a church that there is God in. Why? Because your church is not the only church that God is inside. So they can find God in another church, but they can't find that friend in another church. So you have to encourage friends in the church. And one of the ways this friendship is found is when we talk together. And what makes us talk together is when we eat together.

Number two, eating together during special occasions. I call it love feast. So that is the second thing you can do with breaking of bread. There is a special occasion in the church that we have to eat. It could be maybe the pastor's birthday or the day the church was established. So it is a special day. We organize a service and after the service, during the service or before the service, we eat. It can even be the dinner for the whole church. If you have a very big garden in your church, just turn it into a dinner grounds and let us eat. Are we following? Why? Because there was a lot of eating in the early church. And I will come there. If there is at least we have established that what made Steven and God come was because of eating. They were appointed to be in charge of food. It was that important. They kept eating from house to house.

Number three, special services dedicated to eating together. These services can be designed around meals such as breakfast meetings or fellowship dinners where food and fellowship are served.

Number four, food outreach and food enrichment. Enrichment that means providing food for new converts or members during special programs. So we are serving food to people in the church. Food outreach means sharing food with people outside of the church whilst ministering the gospel. In December, I went with Dr. Bmpa on outreach. He went with over 1,000 packs of rice. He was just serving. We went to went to all those and they will kill and is just serving them food and they preach to them. It's not something they do every day. It is a food outreach. So you can also decide that okay, there are people in the church who are cooking and they want to bless the church with 50 packs of rice. Just go to that ghetto and give them the food and preach to them. Food is very important in the scheme of things.

Number five, take away special Sundays. A special Sunday where food packs are distributed. This may be given to selected groups or to the entire congregation depending on resources. Then street giveaways, that is serving food to people on the street with or without preaching. This demonstrates the church's presence and the care for the community the church belongs. Food hampers for the needy. Organize hampers for widows, children, teens, elders, or even pastors or other groups in the church. This may include special dinners with church leadership to honor and for instance, the the the pastors of the church will have dinner with all married people in the church. And we do it on our rooftop. That's what we use it for. There is nobody here that I've never had dinner with in this church. I didn't even pay one CD. The church didn't pay one city. We have to eat together. Have you come for any of the dinners? What one was yours? Shepherd's fellowship. I organized all the shepherds. I want to have dinner with you. And in that fellowship, I asked them to ask questions about the church. Anything the church they don't understand, anything they want to do in the church, anything we just stop, we goes into 11 midnight, 11:00 p.m. And people are just eating and drinking. It is not a church that pays for it, but it's a system to ensure that there is breaking of bread in the church. Yes. Who else had come apart from shepherds? Elders, we also had elders dinner. Couples dinner. Couples, yours was what? Pastor Iben's basenian. A cell that brings church people to church. We call a basin cell. So he has a basin cell. He brings people to church on Sundays. All the people that he brings, that he had dinner with them. Can you imagine? It has even gone to that extent. Pastors, chief elders, businessmen. We in December, we had dinner with all the businessmen. We have had dinner in Holiday Inn. We have had dinner in Palms Hotel. H. Yes. To just go and eat and talk. Yeah. Sound guys. All the people who are in charge of sound and logistics. Your leaders also took it for dinner. Where did you guys go to eat? You want to eat fufu with all the STL guys? Wow. That means we are seeing the apostolic age from house to house because I know some of the pastors host people in their homes and sell food to them and mostly they are done on Mondays. Listen, your church will be a family. Let's say that you don't have a venue of yourself. You can organize it somewhere. You can go to a restaurant and tell the restaurant they should reserve this time and this time for you. They will do it and they will take the money or it is one day. Let me tell you something. There a group of people in the church, I call them my daughters. And it was a a a certain experiment I was making and I'm still making it. For instance, is it possible to take care of people that you have not given birth? It's just too long. One of them I realized that he was not so committed with the church. But he was one of my daughters. I had a dinner with all the daughters. It was organized by my secretaries and they paid for it. The secretaries paid for it. I think they spend about maybe 3, four, 5,000 to organize the food for them. In that meeting, I saw one of them. She has become the most faithful afterwards in that. He was even surprised that I'm here having dinner with pastor. I'm not putting anything in food buff. They're just eating back and forth. Every Sunday she's a dancer in church. I see her dancing. But she was not like that. vacation. She doesn't stay close. She's a student. She was coming from the house. One of them, her father died. He went to tell the mother that the mother shouldn't cry because I'm her father. The mother came to church to come and thank me that she is mine. Whatever, whatever, whatever. Breaking of bread. So they don't eat. So it doesn't mean we are out. There is no human being who doesn't eat. Pastors always. I've eaten with them in my house. I've eaten outside with them. I've traveled to some places to go and eat. And the apprent is for instance, Friday, pork, sausage, fruit juice. Sundays it's mostly common and we just talk on Sundays when I'm doing meetings with my pastor. Well, I don't do Yes, whatever. We just sit down and no if nobody's just we are just talking. I heard that you got a new something. Actually, we just tease our we just talk and sometime they ask questions. I also asked, I heard that there's this man, what do I do this? So which one is this? Which one is it? We are just having fellowship conversation among ourselves because look, every Sunday is a boxing day. The the there's too much pressure on the Sunday for pastors. When they declare the election results, you can see that attendance was not good, offering was not good, pressure has come in the system. So we relax Sunday night, sometime Monday we start the meeting. So all the firing starts on Monday, but Sunday just eat small small chops, small small chops. It's a good thing. No pastor in this church and say I'm a thief. How they know me? They know everything about my life. My phone is always with them. When we call, they pick the call. They take me home. I don't go home alone. Why? I don't know. And some of them, they stay very far. Some of them, as they are driving me home, their wife is driving behind the car to go and drop me home, and then they'll sit with their wives and go home. There's one of my pastors, he's working with the registrar, whatever, Ghana auditors, whatever. So they have sent them to Bular. If he was here, sometime he sits here at 2:00 a.m. Pastor, so many meetings sitting there like this. He's waiting for me to close to take me home. And when I'm in the car, "Hey boy, how are you doing?" So this is how you treat your wife. Have you given her a gift? Valentine's. It's not like that. You should join this. Do this one. You don't have money. This is 500. Don't tell the one who gave it to her. Tell her that this is what you're giving to her. We are friends. They, for instance, if you want to corner me, if you use my wife, it may not work because she, my wife's not interested in so many things. She will just listen, but she will not mind you. But if you pass through some of the people around me, it to work very easy for understand. They can always tell where I am. If I have, there's a platform, if I'm going to preach somewhere, they put it there. All of them know. So before when I get, I see 20 pastors. They are no bodyguards. They are my. And this girl is part Gifty. Gifty is maybe some of them are working. She's outside. She's at the back there. Valer thinks is a doctor. He's not around. M is around. They also outside. Anywhere I'm going, I'm going with them. I don't work. According to the Bible, it's wrong for the king to walk alone. It's in my book, Travel Companions. Why the church pastor is a department in the church? I don't know. Do people read a book? Read it. Read chapter two. The pastor as a department in the church. How to run your protocol ministry for you, the pastor. You must have help at home, help in church, and help on the way. And how do you set it up? Pastors in the church told me I have to get a car for my house help so that he used it to pick my children from school because I cannot be picking when we are in meeting. Hey, I have to go and pick my children. They said, "No pastor, the guy is sitting in the car right now. He picks my children every day." It is because of this book. That is a system we teach in the church. It is wrong for me to be ironing when I have to read my Bible. So somebody must stay with me in my house and do those things for me. Why? You cannot save tables and leave the preaching and the teaching of the gospel. A pastor on Sunday, you are the one mopping the floor because you are humble. It's not humility. You, you, it's not wrong. I have washed the floor. I've washed toilets in this church. When we were pulling down one of our buildings, when we finished building, the man who things enter, nobody, I jump into the toilet. I have pictures of it. I toilet all over me. So it's not that we don't. I will show you pictures of me missing concrete. A man brought us cement free of charge. When he saw that the senior pastor was missing concrete in the church, I do minion jobs. But it is because at that time, I was not this busy. I treat my clothes. I don't want anybody to touch it. I had to stop because it was look, when I add on my shirt, it will take me 30 minutes or 1 hour. The way I was touching it, I realized I was wasting my time. I learned it from Pastor Chris. He said he was fixing computers and Jesus rebuked him that that is not your way. Get people to be repairing the computers that are fought in your office and focus on reading the Bible and praying and fasting. I'm fasting. I've been fasting since 1st February. Nobody in the church is fasting. Nobody. I'm the one fasting. God called me. I cannot come and put the bed. All the church, they are fasting. Fast your fasting. Yeah. This man of God, he was with me in the go. Go and ask him the fastings we doing, 100 days, 40 days. It's not today. You fast whether there's food or there is no food.

Breaking of bread. So when I'm talking about breaking of bread, I'm not counter. I'm talking about fellowship that was foundational in the church. Oh, I love that. Luke 24, on the road to Emmaus, Jesus preached all the revelations. They didn't know that was Jesus. The Bible say when he broke bread, he gave them, their eyes were opened. As soon as they finished eating, their eyes opened. You don't know eyes that have been closed by hunger. If you don't love a lady, don't be accepting her food. You will fall in love. There's something called baby. You are a single pastor. Every day you're eating from somebody's house. I b every pastor in this church never to eat with in anybody's house. It's not allowed in this church. You can't try it. Especially those who are not married. If a sister wants to give food to you, he should bring the money in an envelope and you can go buy your own food. Except the lady is somebody you are cutting. No problem. You can eat together. But this she is bringing me food, bringing me food. I've seen some before. The guy went to eat and didn't return. He was my assistant sound engineer in the church. During the co, the girl was staying close to the church and she was bringing her into because the co, nobody was going out. It was locked down. He was bringing him. Before you realize, the guy has run away. As I talk to you now, they have a daughter now. She went to eat and after eating, he ate. A very, I mean, he's one of the most wonderful brothers. But you see, at the time we didn't know this. We should have taught him. He was just innocent. And some girls are wild. They're like Jel. They will give you milk and press a wood in your chest and kill you. And the boy too was hungry. Used to stay with this boy. Then all of a sudden, he said he was in church because co, nobody's going. It was lockdown. So he was always in the church and the girl was closed that he bring the egg on on it. It were they were like the eyes of ancestors. The eggs, the eggs on the rice. It's like the eyes of the goss. Somebody that has not married to, he brings you rice. Two eggs are not. Are you going to offer a sacrifice? As they were eating, they were eating. They were eating. They were eating. One day the guy ran away, not knowing the girl was pregnant because she used to bring. At a point, she was not bringing, he was going for it. Like them, serious matter, we are laughing with it like that. I love him. I still love him. I wish I could see him, but we tried reaching out. We called him. We still didn't pick. He was not picking anybody's call. So sir, next point, I'm almost done. When I'm preaching, people get up. It feels like I'm delay. I'm taking too much time. They gave me up to 10:30 and I said I'll close at 10. So it's 10. Or I should end here. Let me finish with only the breaking of bread and I'm almost done. Jesus is Lord.

Number next, food gifts. A special occasion where members exchange gifts exclusively in the form of food. I will not explain food sponsorship in the church. Let me show you how this in our church. What we were we are doing International Sunday. In the International Sunday, we sell food to everybody in the church free of charge. And this is what we do. Please, we have International Sunday next month. What can you bring? A a crate of egg, a pack of fruit juice. Like that, like that, the whole church. It's not my fault. You are not going to tell us what you don't have. I can bring one tin of milk. No problem. So based on all the things the whole church will bring, we use it to prepare something and we keep eating till you are tired, you go home. That's how we're doing. So when you come, you see different, different, different tables, rooms, halls, places serving food. Crackler is making noise. Yes. Like one guy said, I'll give a box of chicken. If everybody even give thanks, you can all eat with it. So anything you can bring a tin of milk, whatever, whatever, whatever, that is what is called the sponsorship, whatever. So if you can also do so, that's fine. Then food outings. The church or specific groups, couples, pastors, Sunday school teachers may go out together to eat, strengthening the bonds outside of the church hall. Then be my guest week. The church invites specific people, newcomers, community veterans or those with special needs to be treated and hosted with meals. So there are people in the area, let's say that we want to invite assembly man, whatever, want to eat with them, people. So we are bringing them as our guest and all of that. Join family outings following the apostolic model of eating from house to house. Families or cell groups can host one another for meals to build intimacy and strong family relationship or friendship. I've given 10 already.

How to fund breaking of bread in the church? A church does not necessarily have to fund eating activities directly from its office. Number one, members contributing meals. Individuals or families can prepare and bring meals to share during fellowship gatherings. Two, resource sharing and fellowship dinner in homes. Members can host fellowship dinners in their homes, pulling resources together to reduce cost. Let's say that for instance, during Christmas, I stand in front of the church and I tell every couple to host a family. So this man is married, this lady too is married. This man can tell this lady that I would like to host you and your husband and your children in my house for Christmas. So your wife and the two wives can be cooking or anything based on how you guys want to plan it. And we have a platform that when you do it, you put a picture there. Is it a nice idea? So, and you see when you have money here, one of the things that is is you want people to come and eat from your house. Especially when you have a nice house, you want people to come there. You want or your wife is a good cook. You always want people to come to the house. I have a pastor friend. He invited me to come. The wife could play. How many people? He said, "Only you." You just want people to come around so that people who can sell food, drinks, anything. You can even have a barbecue area, whatever, whatever, whatever among families in the church. It can be cell groups, can even be department like our SAS, the guy at the back, seen he hosts some people, a lot of people. The wife did a lot of. When was that? Before the new year. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Is it you? You who who did you host? All the married couple came. Who did you host? Your sheep. Who else? So it's something we encourage. So that one, the church doesn't pay anything. It's just having. We want people to be friends in the church. You understand? I saw Frederick too. Jennifer and Cody, they were also doing something in their homes with Steven and all of that. It's very powerful. It's very wonderful. And if people are not doing it in the church, you should you should speak against it because you have to uphold the practices of the church. So if you can't host, be host. Allow somebody to host you. Yes, this guy has hosted me before, but it's long ago. These days I have stopped because I realized that going into people's homes is one of the biggest burden they have. Pastor is coming. It's like there's so much pressure. So now I have stopped. So I rather want to eat with them in church. That it's not like it's because their wives are under pressure. What should I do? Should I change the curtains? Should I mean, we are just coming to. I realized that the stress was too much for some of them and it's not because of it. I'll come with slippers and but just that they feel like to impress or it's not easy for them. So I have stopped. But in church, we do together. But among ourselves, it's not. And I encourage it. Are you here? I'm just showing how it is funded. Is it important? I'm showing the pattern. This is how the that's how we become friends. That's how the church is supposed to be built. I'm talking about apostolic model of the church. And I've come to the place where breaking of. I said Acts 2:42:7 is a summary of all the activities of the apostolic church. Breaking of bread is what I have reached. Are you here?

Number next, church allocation. The church may set aside a small budget to support food-related fellowship activities. Food sponsorship. Volunteers or families can sponsor meals for specific services or groups within the church. For instance, on our um Christmas, one of the pastors, he decided to sponsor every food that they are serving that day. We have a certain Christmas service that that day we eat food. The good 20s caro service on the car service day we give free food and he decided to sponsor it by himself. One person, he paid for everything. So that's also. So you can also suggest in our church, we give breakfast to all the children who come to church and it is not paid by the church. It is paid by people who volunteer to do it. They give to it. I have given couple of times to it so that the children can be free there and enjoy God. When you ask a child in this church, do you like school or church? This, I like church. Last week I asked my children, church and school, said, "No, no, no, no, no. I like I like I like church. Is David like school?" And I said, "Why?" I said, "All my friends are in church." That's the first thing he said. And he also said because of the hospitality table, there are a lot of things there. Yes. He said anytime he comes and because he's pastor's student, a lot of church members buy things for them, so they like it. All the fishies, they come that they come. When they sleep, you see that it's in their pocket. So partnership with local businesses, restaurants, caterers or food vendors may also partner with the church to provide discounted or donated meals. People in the church. Next point, fundraising events. Organize special events, bake book sales and food fairs, etc., where proceeds go directly to funding breakfast activities or breaking of bread activities. Rotational hosting. Different groups within the church, qua youth, couples can take turns providing food during fellowship. Community donations. Encourage members and well-wishers to donate food items or groceries instead of cash offerings. Special offerings for fellowship meals. Designate occasional offerings especially for food-related fellowships in the church. Provide from the sales of snacks. Like in this church, you see a lot of them selling kebab, pork, those things. When they get profit, they use it to sponsor. For instance, which of the meetings do they pay for? Hospitality pays for. They pay it from monies they generate from the things they serve. The money doesn't come to the church. For instance, we have red porto, which is Valentine's service. One of the days we give free food. It is done by the hospitality people and it's free. And anytime we have fasting and prayers, we give porridge for people, not food. The problem like porridge, small cup of. They pay for it and do it free of charge. And it's not by force. They also understand that if you're interested, just eat some. If you are not interested, you can also. And they do that from the process they from the things they sell, the snacks they sell. I'm just talking about funding. If it is important, it has to be done. You can come to the church and see a lot of things and you will not even notice that this is what is going on. I believe that there's no need to hide and whatever we are doing, it is helpful. I'm just sharing. I'll come to prayer. When I come to prayer too, I'll show you another thing. But we will not get there today. We are ending right now. I don't like it when I'm preaching and people are doing this. Set up hospitality ministry. If if it is not, I would have called some of the people in the hospitality ministry and the things they do, how they do it, but it's too is is late. If or we should do it. Okay. So call Jennifer, call Mildred, call maybe like five, six of them quickly, quickly, quickly. How does the hospitality ministry work? Or it's not important or I should skip it? Anyway, you let's then let's skip it. He said hospitality should be seen as a ministry, not just an office duty. When someone is appointed, all these things are too play. The church must have the culture of eating together. The culture must consciously. The church must consciously build the culture of eating together because the family that eats together. Eat just as a home must have food to sustain natural life. The church must have the flesh of breaking of bread to sustain unity. Many families are destroyed because they do not cook nor share meals time or dining time. Eating together is not only about food, it's also about fellowship. Sitting around the table creates a space for conversation, understanding and bonding in the home. In the same way, when the church is together, it strengthens unity. Breaking bread is a a cultural phenomenon that will highly enrich the church. A model church must therefore embrace eating together as part of its rhythm of life because sharing meals build shared hearts. Number five, they continue steadfastly in prayers.
