God loves you better and knows you better than you love and know yourself. Because of that, you can trust him. Your life, your vocation, is not a puzzle to be solved.
Now, all you have to do is ask three questions every day. Am I in a state of grace? You know that if we have mortal sin, we're destroying that relationship, that living relationship between ourselves and God. And so, am I in a state of grace? If you're not, go to confession.
Am I doing my daily tasks? So many people walk around asking the question, "What does God want me to do with my life?" instead of asking the question, "What does He want me to do in this moment?" The thing on my calendar, am I showing up for those things on time and prepared? Who are the people that they just need you to show up? Because if you say yes to God's invitation today at 8 a.m., I have to be here, then when God reveals, here's the big plan, you're used to showing up. So be at peace. If you're not doing it, start.
Am I praying? Because it doesn't make a lot of sense to say, "I wonder what God wants me to do," and never actually stop and say, "God, what do you want me to do?" and then give Him a space to speak.
