Mars is the initiative, it's initiation, the initial step or Supremacy within our space. Or when it comes to the kinds of competition, there is a meeting of how we are going to get by in the world and what is the best plan. Spontaneous infancy, what rises up within us like a volcano, it becomes contained and it becomes enclosed or encased in some kind of boundary. This is we have the meeting of what is just explosive and the boundary, the beginning of the cycle of those two things. So how are we going to contain so we can maintain our energy? What is our container going to look like for this particular up to two and a half year period of time? There's something around there. What kind of leash are we going to put on Mars? That's what we're looking at.
So it's important to look at other aspects when you have this conjunction. What's going on at the same time? The other things that are also contributing to measure containment, but not to the point of you cutting ourselves off from our blood flow. It's it's a lot like choosing a belt that keeps our pants up, but it's not so tight that we can't breathe. Because if it is too tight, and you can look at that by other aspects that are happening at the same time, how tight is your sphincter at this point? Overall, when you have the beginning of this transit, if it's too tight over the course of this two, two and a half years that this is going to go through, things are going to be loosening up a bit. We're going to be realizing that, oh wait, my plan, my expectation, it wasn't big enough. It didn't allow for enough growth or movement or often times self-expression. Because we can be airing heavy on the side of what's long term, we want to make sure that we do not close off our spontaneity and our spirit.
So it's the beginning [Music] of keeping ourselves safer because we do realize that we're not going to live forever and that we only have so much time to accomplish to put our energy into our long-term goals. So on the day that we have this conjunction or the week of it, it is a very restrictive feeling. We may want to move, we may want to expand, but there's a feeling that we can't, or that we shouldn't. We are very irritated by what is not moving. It's this irritation, it's this feeling of I am being blocked or stopped that puts us in a mood to look at how can I deal with blockages? What's in a three-dimensional world? The facts of reality. How can I live within that and tolerate that? Because I'm this big ball of nerves and I don't like this feeling of having steps to go through, hoops to jump through, things that I have to take into account that are outside of what I just want to do right now. So our knee-jerk reactions are not jerking this particular week. And again, it's that feeling of being slowed down, blocked, that has this reorganizing, say, all right, well, if I need to concentrate my energy in order to make something happen or to have a satisfying end to a goal, if I need to concentrate that, what is the best way to do that? So we're developing a plan to use our efforts and the energy that can come from frustration and anger to further our personal goals rather than to feel defeated by the outside world. We're pushing against that. So we feel like we're just not going to succeed unless we concentrate our efforts. It's a better week for doing what does require precision, focus. We may not want to, we're frustrated by that, but we're responding to it like, no, I have to do this, I have to get through this. If I don't, you know, I've got these 16 baskets of laundry now. I don't want to stand here and do all this laundry all day long, just boring. But you know what? I got, I have to do this. I have to stand here and I have to focus on this and concentrate on this because I haven't done laundry in 16 years. So in spite of our anger, we're still focusing because we see the wisdom in it. We don't like people very much when we have this particular transit of a hard transit. We see rather than openly confront and just kind of see, we'll give a lot of side eye. And we have the hard conjunctions, yeah, I know you want that from me. So there's some amount of resistance, but we are not openly rebelling. We're conforming reluctantly with the idea that I got to do it.
That brings us to the sextile. This is not nearly as frustrating as the conjunction. Also with the conjunction, what I've observed, it's very hard to see. All right, a little bit too much information. Maybe I'll this when I put it in the on the playlist. Maybe not. You know me. It is hard to have an orgasm when you have this particular conjunction of the hard aspects between Mars and Saturn. It's hard to get there because there Mars is our reproductive energy. It's that masculine principle of wanting to penetrate something. I know, just terrible. And we can't either. We can't penetrate the depths and we have a hard time bringing up pleasurable feelings. So it can be one of those days, three days, weeks that we put in the masturbatory work without any actual payoff. One of those things like, you know, I've been at this for 10 minutes. I mean, what, what's at this? Usually it takes me 37.6 seconds. What, it's been 10 minutes? I'm going to sleep. This is something I've observed with myself and others as well. So pay attention to that one. This it's not a good sex week. It's not a good masturbation week either. We just don't get there.
The sextile is different. There is a feeling of building success. This is not something that will overtly block sexual contact or successful masturbation, frankly. It won't put us in a position where we are feeling like my efforts are not paying off and my sexual energy is not available to me or available to others. It actually is mixing in a way that we can put the pedal to the metal and have some pretty good results. This can be a bit of a charming transit in that we're able to package our sexual energy or proactive energy or anger, you know, in a way that is not off-putting to us or others. We're not flying about like we can with Mars transits. We're not multitasking. We're not going here, we're not going there. This is not an exploratory transit. Even though it's a sex, there's containment there, but we're happier to focus on what it is that we have to do. There's an appreciation for the hard work that we're going to put in because we do have a sense that it is going to pay off, that it's necessary. There's not so much the grumbling that with the hard aspects, resistance. It is easier to find the people, the specific people that have the tools, the information, the wisdom, the resources that we need. We know that sextiles encourage cooperation and so that pays dividends. And because we are actually willing to be self-denying, we're willing to go beyond the immediacy of our own needs in order to cooperate or meet with the other, and we do get that back. That is returned to us. So there's a feeling of good give and take here between these two. We can have a good experience of, you know, what, I have this lawn mower that I know that you need, and I know that you have this weed whacker that I know I need. Let's share it. Let's combine. Let's exchange efforts and resources. So very similar to that chapter in Little House on the Prairie of where they move to Kansas. There's nothing there except one neighbor that lives a mile away, and two men decide, we're going to help each other dig our well and finish off our houses because it's mutually beneficial for both. With us, goals that we act on do often find fulfillment at this sextile because we're really starting towards something or initiating something with the energy of cooperation, willingness to work hard, and not grumbling down. We're not grumbling, and we have the numbers in our cell phone to the people that have the little bits and pieces that. So it's an effective transit. Most of us are not going to notice this one very heavily because it doesn't bring that sense of driving a car with the brakes on that we can get with the hard transit.
So let's look at the square. We find that, well, whatever we want to do during this week or these particular days is hard, and it's not of our choosing. It's things that we have to do or things that we have to maintain, fix, come to grips with. We have spontaneity needing have-tos, a hard no. Also, we can be dealing with hard noses and figure out how are we going to get around that? How are we going to go over that? How are we going to deal with that, still be able to maintain our trajectory? So we can feel extremely derailed when we have this particular square. We feel discouraged. We feel like anybody that is an outside influence, especially in a position of authority, a teacher, or somebody that has a piece of something that we need, they are the problem. They are the obstacle. They are keeping us from reaching the finish line. So we are pushing hard against outside obstacles, and this is a blocker. This is not a good week for dating. Don't even get out the lotion. You ain't get finished. There's nothing there. We feel like any proactive energies are being wasted this particular week. So it's not a good time for building connections that have personal meaning to them. Putting our efforts more into where we have to move, what is external, what has to be finished, what kinds of confrontations that we need to have, even though we may not have total success, been of incremental movement forward. We move in increments with this particular square. It's a very inhibiting time. All the hard aspects, all the transits of Mars and Saturn are extremely inhibiting, and there is just this feeling that I'm only going to get so far. I'm going to have to put up with scraps. We're dealing with a really a reality that we feel like is bread-grinding us for a while. This is an angry transit, this particular transit, because we feel like I want to do something, you are preventing me from doing that. We can even look at circumstances and conditions because it's a square. People, circumstances, and conditions that we target with oppositions. It's more specifically people, but we see that just everything seems to be against us at this point. It's a tired time. It's a time to get more rest. You do have to push through things, you do, but that's what makes us tired, especially mentally. We are going a million miles an hour, but there's just this nship that we're needing there. So it really feels like we're trying to think and walk through sand for a period of time. So get more rest and look at what is being reflected to us in terms of our maturity, our readiness, our impatience. We don't want to accept anything that's being reflected to us that may tell us that we are not as mature or as capable or as willing or adult as we think we are. So we can respond in a very infantile way at this particular square. As it moves through, you start to develop some humility, but that's the thing is, we do feel humiliated during this transit. We respond to that negative lane. As it moves through, get closer to the trine, we may start to think more broadly about what was said to us, what we did, our responses, the force of our libido, and how do we manage or control that. So as we get to the trine, it brings us closer to being willing to qualify ourselves in ways that maybe we are assumed we had to finish projects, to get back on the lag. And ah, Jeff, good for you. That's a good one. I like the trine. And it has us just being more willing to focus and to draw our energy up into a column so it's not dispersed very much dispersed at the hard aspects. And we have to have to bring it into alignment. It's not a have to with a trine because trines are about perspective. We have a bigger perspective than just the reactionary id and primary ego gives us at the trine. That that's Mars, it's that immediate reaction when we feel like we can't move forward in a totally free, unfettered way and at the pace that is natural to us. We're willing at trine to contain ourselves, to learn, to organize. We see and we don't feel like we're being made to do that. There is a feeling of force with the hard aspects, and we bristle at that. But this is just more of an appreciation of, you know, divine timing rules what is external to us, just looking at that as I guess more more dispassionately and less as with the attitude like everything is against me, everything hates me, everyone hates me today, nothing's working out, blah blah blah blah blah. It's more of a, you know, looking at, you know, there's certain things in life that are hard, and anything worth doing is probably going to be hard or difficult or require something from me. And it's a mature attitude about, you know, what am I going to have to knuckle down and do? We do things carefully, we do things with precision, we do things with an eye for how is this going to turn out in the long run. Deception of past and future, then how the past can, how can we can take the best from the past and take the best lessons from the past. Hold on, I have no idea when I get out. I don't know because the connection sucks bad. Cut. I'll just go back. I don't know when. So there's a feeling of being appreciative of the circumstances. We're not trying to get out from under what is external to us. We don't have the feeling that we are victimized. We do at the hard aspects and we resent it heavily. The trine, we're just, we realize that, you know, it's happening in our time. There are certain expectations that exist. My boss is this kind of person. We're looking at things more factually, and again, our ego is not demanding that we win now. So what we're not saving, if things are working, can you guys actually see me or am I wasting this entire lesson and you can't even see me? What's happening? Okay, all righty. So yeah, the trine is great. We do things with precision, carefully, and we do help. We ask for help at the sextile and trine. We know we have to have it at the hard aspects, but we may resist it. We may be kind of a dick about asking for it too. We don't appreciate have-tos, the hard aspect, but if they're trying to just take the frustration out of it, we have a mature attitude.
And that brings us to the opposition. Oh God, where we really don't like anybody for a few days. We can really feel like people are keeping us from doing well, from moving forward, from being ourselves. There is an ongoing problem with keep doing that is very reactionary or that is out of tune with the kind of rewards, the raise, the promotion, the recognition that I'm looking for. There's a couple of things going on here. What's out of tune is our id, our just the our our ego, our need to win. And that's what we're looking at initially. We see everything outside of us as being the jerk. But as things progress and this opposition moves through over the course of days, we're looking at why do I keep getting this same just a dessert? Why do I, I don't think a word is softened. We start to accept. We're looking at what ongoing problem within me related to the inability to take instruction or to learn. How am I being unteachable? How is that derailing me? It is a humiliating transit, but we know humiliation is necessary in order for us to see something and change. We feel extremely impotent at this time. I'm going to back up. How much charge do I have? Maybe I can just go outside for this one and finish up. See, I know and I'm being seriously a big jerk today. It's not you guys. I have just enough. I'm going to go outside for this one and get a better connection. All righty. So we're looking at how do we feel blocked and humiliated initially with this opposition moving through, then we're looking at how am I blocking myself? So there's a reorientation that happens at the opposition. How do I need to act differently? Often towards external circumstances or people, authority figures, Mom and Dad, expectations. How do I need to act in a way where I'm more humble, where I'm more accepting? Sometimes how do I need to move on from something I see as a total waste of my time? Sometimes we have opposition, we fail, or we can realize, yeah, this is a, this is a failure, and I'm going to let this go. So we start out that planning at the conjunction, you know, marrying that energy with plan. And then at the opposition, we see the results of that. Is it something that we need to continue to invest in? Is it something that we should continue to push for? So if we come to opposition, we see that we've lost our moo, we've lost the energy, we've lost the desire to push through. Maybe we should give it up. We come to this opposition, we feel like, you know what? I still want this. This is still important to me. I realize that this is hard. I didn't even think it would be this hard, but I still want this. There's still that fire burning. We need to keep going. You are coming up against test. Yes, who had the bravery to ask that? I can't believe you guys are brave enough to even talk to me today. I'm such a see. Oh, of course, Tasha. She's brave. All right, the beginning, yes. But I need you. I need you to brave me, Tasha, because sometimes nobody else will unless it's Jeff. So there's an initial feeling when this first comes in, being blocked from the outside. Everybody's horrible, life is horrible, nothing is working out for me, my boss hates me, my parents hate me. And then as the days, the hours move through, it's the process of humiliation sets in. Oh God, maybe I had something to do with this. Or, you know, I've wanted something and I've been pushing against this and I've been trying to get this, but is this really realistic for me? Or I'm pushing to have this person hear me or see me, acknowledge me, want me. Am I sacrificing my pride? Am I not operating from a place of proper self-esteem? So we feel blocked, typically somewhat supreme in the beginning. And then as the days and the hours go by, we start to see, damn, maybe who I've been trying to get attention from, they weren't a good source of that to begin with. Maybe this goal I've been pushing towards and wanting so much is, I mean, there's just so much here that's evidential when it comes to this, may not be the right thing for me. So we look outside of ourselves initially with the opposition, and then we look in and see how am I playing a part in this? On that gets the ball rolling again when it comes to figuring out how we can reposition what is not working, and we have to let that go, how we can reappoint somebody in a different way. So there's a redirect when it comes to how are we going to work with forces and powers that be in order to get what we want.
