For all the religious-minded people who say anyone who got rich or wealthy through business has turned their back on God and now serves Mammon, "You can't serve God and Mammon at the same time." Let me ask you this question: Who is more of a servant to Mammon? The person who's a slave to the paycheck they have to be at their job Monday through Friday, 5 days a week, sometimes six days a week. They're working 40 to 50 hours a week, every single week, and they do this for 40 to 50 years just to make a little bit of money. They only have one stream of income, and if that stream were to dry up, if they were to get fired or laid off, they wouldn't know what to do. Are they more of a slave to Mammon, or to money?
Or is the person who's built a successful business ethically, morally? They now have time freedom, financial freedom. They can live wherever they want, do whatever they want with whoever they want. They get plenty of time with their spouse, with their kids. They're not stressed about money. They are completely free to do everything that God has called them to do. Which one is more of a slave to money, or to Mammon? You tell me.
