Testing, testing. I believe we're back. Hello everyone. Welcome back for another video. Chances are you're probably watching this from bed because literally everyone is sick right now. I just got over a cold myself and I was so down and out. I thought I had the flu. I ended up not having it. I don't know what I had, but it was a combination of such a really bad sore throat. I had post-nasal drip. I felt exhausted. It was just not fun. But I will say this, it was the perfect ending and conclusion to Helmus. So, I want to thank you guys.
But welcome to 2026. This is insane. We have finally entered the new year and what I'm so excited about is the shift that my channel is about to make and I'm kind of in the process of it. But I was really sitting with myself at the end of 2025 and even just at the beginning of 2026 and I was thinking to myself about how I want to do more things that feel aligned with who I am, what I'm about, and just what I want to discuss. And although I've been giving advice for some time, I really want to step into like the commentary space and bring in more outside influence and conversations into our conversations and not always make everything about myself. Although this is my channel and I do love sharing insights of my life with you guys, it's not necessary for me to always use my own life experiences to draw some sort of lesson or idea or just conversation. So, I really want to step into the commentary space. I want to do more vlogs for you guys. I want to do more fitness. I want to do just all of the things that really just brings me life. So, I hope that you guys are excited just as much as I am to just really see like a refresh, a new vibe. I love 2026 already. I love even numbers. I don't know if I've ever told you guys that, but I'm such an even numbers girl. So, I'm 28, that's an even number. The year is 2026. That's an even number. I'm obsessed already.
I also want to shout out and thank everyone who participated in Hailmiss this year. It was such a beautiful year. Granted, it was kind of a slower year than previous years, but I liked it the most. As weird as that sounds, it allowed me to just rediscover my own personal passions. I was getting really creative and crafty with my filming and kind of stepping outside of my comfort zone. I never really used big cameras or just like any type of like filming equipment. I've always been very like putting on my Canon G7 X sitting in front of the window, having no sort of like lighting or audio or anything and I was okay with that for a long time, but now we are getting a little bit more creative and I have been taking more time to create better content. So, I hope that you guys notice that and enjoy that. It was so fun for me this year and I thank everyone for just being a part of it and helping the channel grow and I have so many goals and ideas for this channel in the future. So, I'm really excited to just have you guys a part of it and thank you so much.
But we are now going to get into what today's topic is about and it's a perfect start to 2026 and it's all about becoming strict. Getting that strict program going for yourself. I feel like this is a buzz word that everyone's been saying, right? Like what's your strict program? and it's usually in relation to dating and things like that, but this is actually my personal strict program for leveling up, glowing up, and becoming your best self. We have some things about dating in here, but this is more about just viewing your life as your priority and doing things that are in your best interest and really learning how to do things that are advantageous for yourself, that actually move your life, that elevate you, that connect you with the right things, the right people, and that bring in more abundance, wealth, and ideas and opportunities to your life. So that is what this is all about. It's about becoming strict in 2026 for self so that you can see your life grow the way that you desire.
A little bit about what really inspired this particular program for myself, this particular video and idea was I was scrolling on TikTok and I had noticed that Tatiana Sloshenberg passed away which if you don't already know this, this is John F. Kennedy's granddaughter. It's Caroline Kennedy's daughter and it's Jack Sashenberg's sister, which if you know anything about Democratic media and just what is kind of the upand cominging of the political candidates maybe for the future, Jack Slashenberg has definitely been in politics for a little while and he's very funny and charismatic and has a good personality and his sister Tatiana passed away. I want to say this was on Monday. She passed away. And I decided to dive a little bit deeper into her passing because I've always been very fascinated by the Kennedys and their life and just kind of the little things that were going on and even like what's considered the Kennedy curse, which I think is a little bit inappropriate to mention at this time, but we all know what it is and kind of the discussions around it. But she actually wrote this beautiful piece and it went semiviral and I kind of got some excerpts and pieces of it and I'm going to actually read the entire thing today. But I saw some pieces of it and she was kind of discussing just how she got diagnosed with this terminal illness and she passed so soon after and just kind of her thoughts and ideas around her life and motherhood and different things that she was thinking about. And it had me put a lot of things in perspective about my own life and what I think I should be doing for my current self and how even just getting the opportunity to prolong procrastination to not stick to my goals to not be strict about certain things to let days and weeks and months go by without doing the things that you truly want to do. And that was something that was a part of my early 20s. Now, I have definitely been a lot more aware of time and energy and discipline and having integrity, but that wasn't always the case. And just seeing somebody pass so early in life, she was only 35. She has two kids under the age of five. This is such a sad, tragic story, but it's reality. The reality is we don't know when we're going to go. We don't know how much time we're going to have. and we don't know if we're going to get the opportunities that we want presented in our life before we pass. That being said, the only way to really be someone who conquers all that it is that you desire is to start today. To be strict, to be advantageous, to be audacious, and to be bold. So, in Tatiana's honor, I want this video to be about us really getting specific with what we want and doing it now, not waiting until next year, not waiting until we feel ready. And the best way to get ready is to just do. So, let's talk about my own personal strict program for 2026 that I think would really help you guys out and allow you to stick to your goals a lot easier this year.
Okay. The first thing that I think is an important thing to stick to is no casual anything. You really need to step into 2026 with an intentional vibe, with the desire to take your life serious. So, no casual way of just handling life. We're not going to be flippant. We're not going to like treat it like a joke. We want this to be something that we take serious, something that we find to be important. So, no casual dating, no casual friendships, no casual outings, no casual dealings with our life. And by casual, I don't mean like how you present. What I mean is don't make important things a joke in your life. It's no longer going to be treated casual. We're going to put our business hats on. We are going to treat our wellness, our body, our life, our goals like they are important because they are. You need to be vicious with your pursuit in elevating your life. It is so crucial that you view this as important because if you don't, nobody will. Nobody will take you serious. Nobody will honor what you desire. And more importantly, you're treating your subconscious that what you desire is not a priority. what you desire is not important to you. So, I really want you guys to be unserious about some things because that's the beauty of life is to be fun, to be free, and to have moments of just enjoyment and being present. But that does not mean to flippantly view your body, your career, your goals as unimportant and as things that you can just throw to the wayside.
No, this is huge for my strict program and it's wellness over diet. I think diet can be toxic and diet culture can be toxic because it allows you to think that there is an end to this beginning. But when you prioritize wellness, there's no end. It's until you die. You literally are putting your life in the hands of someone who has integrity around their choices, who's intentional, who understands that what you're fueling it with, what you're doing with it, and the knowledge that you choose to fill your mind with are going to help you in every way, shape, and form. It's going to help you with your energy, with how you look, with how you feel, and it's going to help you conquer your goals. When you go into your body goals as something that is diet related, it's putting a weird taste in your mouth. It's telling you that you're wrong and that this is right. Rather than just saying, "I want to be healthy. I want to feel energized. I want to feel good. I want to be able to do certain things in my life. I want to feel a certain way. I don't want to be sluggish. I don't want to be exhausted." When you start to make it more about how you feel and how you perform, you no longer have that toxic cloud over your mind. So, whenever I notice that I have like this weird body dysmorphia since my weight loss, which I definitely have since losing weight, I feel like I have had an irrational fear of gaining the weight back. And I think that this just comes from knowing how I got there in the first place and how easy it felt. And it obviously scares me at times. But what allows me to rebalance myself and to get back into a good headsp space is realizing that if I prioritize my wellness, I'll never get back there again. Because this is less about what I'm eating and more about the discipline, more about how I'm feeling. More about what is truly important to me, which is my sleep, my energy, my performance, my just overall well-being. Being able to walk up the stairs without being out of breath, being able to play with my dogs outside without wanting to go and crawl into bed. me being even mentally better because working out and filling my body with good things allows me to really nurture my mental health. I'm not as depressed. I'm not as anxious. So, when you put wellness over diet, that allows you to stick to your goals better. So, that is a part of my strict program is just making sure that I am encouraging more wellness, being more intentional, and nurturing my body the way that it deserves.
Okay. The next thing that's a part of this strict program is dedicating a certain amount of hours every week towards your major goals. We have small goals, we have quarterly goals, but we also have major goals. And I think the reason why people have a hard time conquering those major goals and like sticking with them is because it's very intimidating because we're trying to do it all at once rather than just allocating time each week towards it. And that is something that I really want to be a part of my strict program this year. I have some major money goals that I want to make and even career goals. And it's just going to take me dedicating some time with strategy, with marketing, with educating myself, with reaching out to certain people, with doing certain things that allows me to build onto that larger goal and to actually achieve it. It's not going to be something that I can just do because I want it. I have to allocate time each week to getting more knowledgeable around how I can conquer that. So, that is something that I would encourage for you in your strict programming is to set aside time. If you don't set aside time, it's never going to happen. I promise you, you cannot get big things done in a short amount of time because it will either be done sloppily or it will just not be achieved. You'll end up giving up on it because you're going to be overwhelmed. So rather than overwhelming yourself and not sticking with it, allocate time to it each week. Do your small goals, you know, whenever you can, but those particular hours need to be dedicated to the larger goal at hand. And then you're going to notice that you're getting closer and closer and closer to achieving it because you set aside time for it.
The next thing that I wrote down for my strict programming is to cultivate a routine around discipline and integrity. Okay, I have a confession. I do not have a word of the year yet. I'm still figuring out what I want it to be. But integrity is a big word for me. And I think the reason why I have an interesting relationship with integrity is because I think that I've definitely have upholded some of my values around things that are important to me. But there have been other times where I have fallen off, where I have not honored myself, and where I have compromised my integrity. Um, maybe it was because I was people pleasing. Maybe it was because I wanted to give somebody the benefit of the doubt. Maybe it was because I sometimes prefer being lazy than being actionable. And I have been able to recognize that. So, in recognizing that this year, I really want to cultivate a routine around my integrity and discipline so that I stick to things better, so that I honor myself, so that I respect my values, and so that I can actually move the needle forward. Because there are certain things that I just naturally do that sometimes go against my integrity. For instance, associating with certain people that I want to give a little bit more grace to. I have learned that this year is no longer the year of grace. I'm not giving grace because I don't get the same grace that I give. I show up as my best self and people either receive it or they don't. And I'm not saying that I want somebody to give me grace if I'm poorly behaving. But I do notice that I let people poorly behave in my life and I give it grace because I would want that extended to me. But I have realized that you can actually give people grace and still create distance. You do not need to keep these people in your inner world. You don't need them to be a part of your day-to-day life. And that is something that you have to recognize and understand. So that being said, I want to make sure that I honor that not only with myself, but with the people that I associate with because that really shapes your reality. Who you associate with matters. Learning how to cut people off early. Learning how to create distance between you and toxic people, whether it's family, friends, or regular people out in the street, you need to create distance. And when it comes to my relationship with discipline, I'm very disciplined in certain things and that I lack it in others. So, this is the year of me just building up my discipline around the things that I tend to fall short in. And that will really allow me to really like focus on what I need to focus on and create the strict program that is going to get me where I need to go.
The next way to honor my strict program for 2026 is to only frequent and entertain spaces that are high vibrational or have good energy. I am no longer going to be in low vibrational weird cesspool energy that feels like it's taking from me that it feels demonic that it feels spiritually misaligned from me and it just feels like I cannot grow in this space. Now some can say that this is a little bit extreme. You could say well this is kind of extreme because not every space you have to frequent is going to be high vibrational and whatever and whatnot. But honestly, a part of my strict program is I actually want it to be. I am no longer going to be frequenting restaurants, spaces, places, anywhere that has a certain type of energy in it. And you kind of can discern that as you continue to go to a certain place. And you have to be able to say like, huh, there's not the caliber of people that I need to be in here for me to feel good. There is a lot of just weird conversations being had. The energy just feels low vibe. it doesn't feel like a place where I can elevate or be myself. Whatever it is, you can discern that. And I think it's really important to start educating yourself on what spaces you will get that amazing feeling from. So, I am not only going to be entertaining new spaces this year, but I'm only going to be frequenting the ones that make me feel good. I am putting myself first, and my life is something that I take very serious. So, I am no longer going to be entertaining energy that does not feel aligned with my higher self. And that goes for spaces as well. Even if I'm in the space for an hour, if I notice the vibe is off, I'm leaving early. I believe that when you are able to identify that and start entertaining better quality experiences, your luck increases because now you are in spaces with people who are more aligned with your purpose, with your values. And it just allows you to meet people more organically that you don't have to apologize for, that you don't have to be embarrassed about, that you don't have to feel like, damn, like how did I even come in contact with this person? A lot of people that we have met in our lives that have created some sort of emotional turmoil in our mental health usually are people that we reflect back on and say, "How did I even get involved in this situation?" And nine times out of 10, it's being in spaces where you should have never been in the first place. It's frequenting a a spot that had this energy in it and you welcomed it because you were there and it was all that you knew and maybe it was the best thing that was in there at the time. But when you start to frequent better energy places, you no longer entertain the foolishness.
And this kind of goes into my next point for my strict program and it's learning to value your discernment and unclear feelings. Okay, it's still an answer. Having no clarity is clarity. We need to stop searching for closure. We need to stop searching for clarity. We need to stop asking ourselves why somebody would do this to us, why our bodies are telling us that this is not healthy. And instead of asking why, remove yourself. No more entertaining things and [ __ ] around and finding out. Okay? Stop [ __ ] around and finding out. Instead, just say, "Hm, don't like this. Bye." I don't care what it is. a relationship, a friend, a connection, a place, somewhere you're frequenting, a job, I don't care. If your discernment is telling you that this is bad news, believe it. Trust your intuition. It is there for a reason. So, if something feels unclear, it feels not great, it feels weird, let that be your answer. And let's just say you're wrong, okay, so what? You'll never know. You'll never actually know because you bowed out anyways.
And next up for strict program 2026 is to stop overexplaining yourself to people. No paragraphs, just go. Okay, as someone who is an advid paragraph writer, I am. I love it because I'm good with my words and I like to sometimes wrap up how I feel. It has never really served me to actually send it. I think what feels good is maybe just writing it and having it in my notes and and releasing it, but sending a paragraph has never changed the outcome. has never made me feel better. It never genuinely did something for me. Now, granted, if it's a form of therapy for you and you feel like you need to let it out, go ahead and do so. But I promise you, nine times out of 10, we are doing it because we want closure or we want to create some sort of reaction in a person. And I think that if you want your life to be yours this year, hear that. If you want your life to be yours this year, you need to be selfish with your time, with your energy, with your spirit, and be advantageous about it. And that essentially means stop putting other people on a pedestal to where you are letting yourself have this energetic release, this very disrupted energy that feels like you need to overexlain, that you need to demand something, that you need to garner some sort of respect. No, go where you are celebrated. Go towards things that are aligned. Do not entertain things that don't feel good. Stop sending things that you think will create an emotion with someone. Your absence alone. If you are a person that is desired, respectful, loyal, whatever the things are that you say about yourself and why another person would not be, you know, wanting it. Whatever those amazing things that you think about yourself, use that as your ammo, as your way to move on because that is how you are going to continue choosing you is knowing who you are. It's not your responsibility to make other people care. This is not the year where we are controlling other people. This is the year we are controlling ourselves. So rather than exerting yourself in a way that's not helpful, disappear and go towards things that feel better to you.
So that kind of goes into my next point which is we are not spinning the block on anything this year. You want to really embark on your stress programming. We're not spinning the block on things that hurt us that were unfulfilling that were low vibrational. What are we doing people? Okay. You need to stop doing no contact as a way to hurt someone and do it as a way to choose yourself. This is not about other people. And when we are constantly thinking about others and how our actions are impacting them, it's taking away from our own shine, from our own values, from our own goal setting because we are now again putting our life in the hands of someone else. Your life is your responsibility. Make it as good as you can yourself. If somebody is a part of it and they're making it good and they're here, okay, great. But if somebody is choosing otherwise, we cannot make them. So rather than trying to create reactions, emotions, and feelings within people, stop. Move forward. Stop spinning the block on anything that hurt you, that didn't understand you, that didn't choose you.
And on the topic of dating, because I do think that dating can go in this particular video and it's important, is keeping your options open and never settling. I think that we are learning more and more as we get older that there's nothing wrong with partnership, love, connection, but it's the one that we choose for ourselves that does matter. So, making sure that we are not settling for anything that is hurting us, that isn't choosing us, that isn't respecting us, that isn't honoring us. And choosing ourselves every time because a relationship that you have with yourself is the most important one. So, keeping your options open, not settling, that doesn't mean that we're not dating. That doesn't mean that we're not trying. That doesn't mean that we're not open. We are very much open. We are so open that may the best man win. Okay, let yourself free flow and live. I think a lot of the times people will ask me like oh like how's dating going for you? Like are you in your dating era again? And I have decided that in 2026 there's no such thing as a dating era, a single era, an absinent era. No, this is just the Haley era. I am living. So if I meet someone on a random day and I am interested in this person and they ask me out on a date, I'm going to go. If I don't meet anybody for four months, I don't meet anybody for four months and I'm not going out. It's really just about living life, letting things happen and letting things just transpire the way that they're supposed to. Yes, I'm going to still be intentional with my time and my energy. I'm going to put myself out there, but I put myself out there anyways regardless. It's not for a man, but it's for connection. It's for meeting people in general. It's for creating a beautiful mental feeling, a mental and emotional feeling where I do know that ambiance and good company and connection really does fuel me as an individual. So, it's not just about meeting a partner. You can go out for a multitude of reasons. Okay? I am living life and if I get asked out, I get asked out. If I don't, I don't. I am not putting myself in a predicament where I am searching for it, where I am obsessed with it and where it is dictating my life. And if I notice myself getting cynical or upset or finding myself feeling like not so great, I will do an immediate life check and a vibe check on myself and remind myself that this is completely out of my control. that I need to stop obsessing over the would have, could have, should have, and to just be present and love myself enough to know that if something is not choosing me, if something isn't right, if something isn't vibing, if something isn't fitting, if I haven't been presented something yet, it's because it's not my time, and I don't need to take it personally because it's not personal. My time just isn't in that moment. So, yes, I do get down and upset about certain things, and that's just a total normal human feeling, but I don't want it to dictate how I show up with people, with dating, with friendships, and just in life. It's getting dark, guys. I'm sorry.
The next strict thing that I want to stick to is just having my beauty routine be important to me and making sure I look my best daily. I think it's a beautiful way to show up for yourself in a external way. It's honoring what you look like, how you feel, and how it impacts your life and how it impacts your confidence. Getting your makeup, your skin care, your body, your hair, your clothing. Get getting that together. Get that together in 2026. I've had mine together for some time, but I always want to improve. I always want to get better. I always want to cultivate an even quicker and more efficient routine. I always want to look more intentionally beautiful and like myself. So, it's something that I'm ever evolving and learning. and it's really fun for me and it's actually very therapeutic. So, just kind of making sure that I'm strict about this that even if I'm not feeling my best or I'm going through a moment or a season that I still put time aside to looking and feeling good.
Okay. The next thing for my strict programming is to stop waiting and start doing progress over perfection. I have really instilled this into my life a few years back, but I think for a while I was starting to get down on myself because social media was getting a lot bigger. People were becoming really good in the creative space. I was noticing that people were so much more skilled at certain things than I was. And it was a little bit intimidating for me at first. I'm going to be honest with you. I know what I know. And it was up to me whether I wanted to educate myself and get better or stick to what I know and feel good in it. And I think I did a little bit of both. I learned that my avenue and my space is my own and to really be confident in that and to also be happy for the individuals who have a different creativity level than I do and the success of their life. But I also want to elevate myself because it makes me feel good. Learning, growing, becoming better at my job and my craft is so crucial to me. So progress over perfection. I don't want to spend this year just sitting down and complaining. I rather just do things and get better. When I started my podcast and I got all the equipment, it was very intimidating to me and I was getting very irritated. But the more that I did it, the easier it got. and I figured out a routine that worked for me and it allowed me to still have the quality that I desired with a little bit less of a headache and it allowed me to get better. It's very annoying when we start something that we really want and we're not good at it right away. Especially if you are a perfectionist and you're an eldest daughter like myself and you're used to having the weight of the world on your shoulders. It's just annoying. But I promise you, you're going to get better the more you do it. And if you just allow yourself to continue being bad at something, you're going to eventually not be bad at it anymore. So that is something that I have continuously put into my brain and I'm going to continue that mindset through 2026 so that I can see my goals really move because a lot of the things that I am setting for my life and the intentions I'm setting for this year require me to let myself get better at certain things. So that is something that I'm going to keep in mind.
And the last and final thing that I am going to be strict with in 2026 is managing my money like a boss. I really want to get better at managing my money in investments, in saving, in investing in myself, in budgeting, in just doing a lot of different things. Money is something that creates a lot of beauty in your life, but can also create a lot of pain. And as someone who has a very interesting relationship with money, I've always known that I wanted a lot of money, but making a lot of money and saving it or learning how to manage it are two completely different things. And I have mastered making money, but I haven't been good at mastering advocating myself around money and even just understanding the importance of knowing what I have and how I can use it. So that is what this year is going to be about. being strict with that and understanding how to save, how to invest in myself, how to invest in the right things, how to budget, how to plan for the future with money in itself. So that is something that I think if you're strict with it and you understand it, you'll get a better relationship with it because usually having a bad relationship with money, it comes from childhood, it comes from trauma, but it also can come from your mismanagement of it. So taking accountability in that and getting better and creating more knowledge around that so that you can do better in this year. And that's exactly what I'm going to do. That is my 2026 strict program. These are things that I'm going to stick to, that I'm going to remind myself of, that I'm going to do those check-ins with, and it's going to allow me to feel like I am actually achieving things. And if you guys follow any of these things, I'm sure you will notice some drastic changes in your life as well. I would love to know down below what your own personal strict program is and what you're going to be following this year. Whether it has to do with dating, your body, your career goals, your money goals, whatever it is. I would love to hear what you guys are personally doing. And yeah, I think that this year can be our year if we allow it to be. It's not necessarily the time that we need, but it's what we do with it. So, really choose your time wisely and understanding that every day is a new day, but to not waste it. I love you guys so much. Thank you so much for tuning in. Happy 2026 and let's get this year started, guys. I can't wait.
