The US Dollar is Quietly Taking Over the World

The US dollar is quietly taking over the world, through crypto specifically. This one fact about stablecoins might make you rethink everything you believe about the dollar.

For 80 years, America spread its currency with banks, treaties, and armies. It just found a faster weapon, a digital dollar that lives on a phone, and it's conquering the world's weakest economies right now as we speak, while nobody is watching and nobody's reporting on it.

So, if you didn't know, a stablecoin is a crypto version of a dollar. And earlier last year, there was something called the Genius Act that signed into law the fact that banks can now create stablecoins. Now, as you can imagine, throughout history, banks have manipulated the dollar for a long time. So, of course, they got their hands all over this.

In 5 years, cross-border stablecoin flows went from $12 billion to $316 billion. The whole market just cost $320 billion. Stablecoins stopped being how you trade crypto. They became how the world moves money. And this is where it gets dark.

The IMF found these digital dollars flood hardest into countries with dying currencies. We're talking about Ukraine, Venezuela, Pakistan. People watching their money die are escaping into US dollars through their phones. The IMF even has a name for it. It's called currency substitution. America is dollarizing the planet. No army, no treaty, no bank, just download a wallet and your currency's dying and just take mine.

That's not even the craziest part. Every coin, every US dollar cryptocurrency is backed by government debt. Meaning, not only does America get their dollar adopted, but they make money off of them adopting it as well. So, Tether, one company holds $135 billion in US Treasuries. That makes a crypto company the 17th largest lender to the United States government on Earth. They are literally bigger than South Korea themselves when it comes to borrowing from the US government. Every new dollar that's actually printed buys more US debt automatically.

Now, watch this. On Ethereum, stablecoin transfers just hit an all-time high of 24% while Ethereum's price crashed 31%. Usage of a blockchain exploding while price falls isn't gambling. That's real people actually using it, and every one of them is now standing on crypto rails.

So, I want you to put the pieces of the puzzle together. One tool, three moves. It funds the US government, it exports the dollar to every broken economy on Earth, and it pulls the whole world onto one blockchain. One boring dollar at a time.

This is exactly why Fidelity just launched their own stablecoin, and that's why BlackRock is doing the same thing. The smartest money on Wall Street isn't chasing the price. They're building the pipelines while trying to dump the price. Empires used to travel by ship, now they're traveling by phone. They're conquering the world through the adoption of the stablecoin dollar, and they're using other people's country to pay off government debt that America ran up.
