Today, I am talking about effeminate men. Today, I am talking about men being effeminate and men that have been ganized. If you want to add that to your vocabulary, men have been ganized, and men have become so gay in the west. They have lost what it means to be a masculine man. They have lost what it means to be a man of God. In fact, men today carry the role or the title of a man, but they don't carry the responsibility of a man. We have men today claiming to be men but don't carry the responsibilities of a man. And my sermon today is going to answer one simple question, and I want to ask all the men in this house one simple question: You might have heard an African news reporter ask you all the men, “Why are you gay?” We’re all the men here, why are you gay? Have you seen that African news reporter meme? If you’ve seen it, would you raise your hand? The African guy looks at a man in the U.S. and he’s like, “Why are you gay?” And the guy says, “I’m not gay. Who said I’m gay?” And he says, “You are gay.” And this is really what we need to ask people today: Why are you gay?
I challenge every person in this room that doesn’t agree with what I’m saying; I challenge you to stay to the end of the sermon and see if the word of God will bring you to life today. I challenge you in this room, whether you’re a Christian or not, whether you believe in the Bible or not, I challenge you and I dare you to open up your heart. Don’t let the word of God offend you; stay till the end of the service and open your heart for God to speak to you. Why are you gay? That’s the question we’re asking today. In the west, men have become so feminized, and our country is filled with weak men. Our country is weak, filled with feminized men. Our country is filled with weak men. Our country—now feminism has risen up in the west, and feminism is a new Goliath shouting at the men in the house of God, saying, “Stop acting like a man.” Feminism is a new Goliath that looks at every man in the house of God and looks at every man in culture that’s acting like a man, and feminism says to us, “Why are you doing this?”
The same way Goliath in the Old Testament—the Israelite Army were meant to be at the front line of war. The men of Israel were meant to be fighting the battle at the beginning of war; they were meant to stand at the front and fight. But then Goliath comes out, and Goliath terrifies the men of God. Goliath terrifies, and all of a sudden, the men who were meant to be bold and courageous and meant to protect their nation and meant to fight in war—all of a sudden, the men run back and hide in their tent in fear. And feminism is a new Goliath that is shouting at every man the same way Goliath shouted at the Israelites. Feminism is shouting to the man, “Go back in your tent of fear; go back in your tent of timidity.” Feminism hates strong men, and it wants men to get off the front line of culture, meant to stop leading their wives, meant to stop leading their family, and tell them, “Go back in culture.” I mean, what we used to celebrate, now we mock. Look at this photo on the screen. What we used to celebrate back in the day—uh, 50 years ago, 40 years ago, 100 years ago—these are the men that we used to celebrate. We used to celebrate men who stood up for their families. We used to celebrate men who loved their wives. We used to celebrate men who fought for their country. We used to celebrate courageous men and strong men, and the men would come back from home from the war, and their wives would be dancing around and leaping. The women of the culture weren’t condemning the men for being masculine, but the women were celebrating their husbands, and they weren’t feminists telling their husbands, “Stop being a man.” They were celebrating and dancing, because that is true masculinity. What we used to celebrate, now we mock. Now what we used to pray for, now we call toxic—toxic masculinity, toxic courage, toxic boldness. And what we used to mock, now we celebrate. Look at the photos now. Look at the men in the west that we are looking up to today. This is what Gen Z is looking up to; this is what culture is telling you masculinity looks like. It is saying masculinity looks like a man in a dress. It looks like a man that’s not disciplined and overweight. It looks like a man in a crop top shirt. It looks like a man hiding behind his wife. “How cute was Bobby,” the man—instead of leading and driving in the front and leading his family, he’s hiding behind Bobby, because she is the leader of the house. And we used to mock men that weren’t courageous; we used to mock men that weren’t bold, but now culture doesn’t mock them; now culture praises them.
And for all my feminists that keep saying, “We don’t need men in the house; we don’t need men anymore,” you wait until World War III hits, and you will see how much you need men in this world. Wait till we hit another world war; wait until an enemy attacks us; wait until something happens, and the feminist will be like, “I’m not a feminist anymore. I’ll leave it for the man. You go to war.” Oh, the woman that said, “I don’t like a masculine man,” you wait till somebody wants to nuke our country, or an army is coming against your family. You’re not going to want a girl in a dress next to you; you’re going to want a man of God who will stand up and protect you. You wait until a war comes, then you will start to listen to the biblical idea of masculinity. Sometimes you only honor God in the pain, and you only—only you only worship God and submit to him when the enemy comes. You wait—all the feminists are like, “We don’t need men.” Really? You know that young kids who grow up with absent fathers are twice as likely to drop out of school? For the people that say we don’t need men, I’m all right. You can have two mothers. Young kids who grow up without a father are four times more likely to live in poverty, twice more likely to be in jail, three times more likely to become teenage parents, 50% more likely to abuse drugs and alcohol. 70% of juvenile murderers grew up without a dad. They struggle with mental health. Societies crumble when men don’t lead. Churches are weak when men are weak. Families are weak when men are weak. And this is the Jezebel spirit. The Jezebel spirit in the Old Testament is a spirit that hates masculinity. In fact, when you read in 1 Kings 18, the Jezebel spirit hates masculine men and it hates courageous men. In fact, Jezebel in the Bible was a feminist. She surrounded herself with men who are weak, and she surrounded herself with castrated men. The men that surrounded Jezebel, the queen, were men who had cut off their body parts and men who didn’t want to lead and men with no voices. Jezebel surrounded herself with castrated males, and Jezebel hates masculinity. Jezebel hates what God created. But this is what you need to understand: Is that an attack on masculinity is an attack on the God who created man. Feminists need to understand this: You don’t just hate man; you hate the God that created man. An attack on masculinity is an attack on God who created us, because God did not make a mistake when he created men. God did not make a mistake when he created you. Every man in this room, God did not make a mistake when he made you a leader, when he made you courageous, when he made you bold. That wasn’t an accident; that was God’s perfect design. You were created to lead.
I was in a Barbie movie—I was just watching it to tease it with my wife—and I saw them—out of men sitting with their wives. Every row was filled with a couple, and in my head, my heart broke as I realized the men were silent in that movie. But they have a desire to lead their wife; they have a desire to lead, but they’re scared of getting condemned by the feminist. They’re scared of getting condemned; they’re scared of stepping up to lead because culture would tell them, “Stop your masculinity.” But who cares what people think? God created us to lead; God created us to be masculine. The Jezebel spirit hates men. God did not make a mistake when he made you. Every man in this room, God did not make a mistake. If a woman doesn’t want to praise your masculinity, leave that woman right now, because you cannot abandon your identity. Pride month is very clear. You know, sometimes we look at pride month in June, and we think it’s a new idea. Pride month is not a new idea where men dress naked in the street and men dress and put dresses on and men wear makeup. In fact, 2,000 years ago, in the first century in the Roman Empire, they had a same celebration around the month of June. Did you know that? Did you know that around 2,000 years ago, in the month of June in Rome, they had a celebration similar to pride month where men would walk around in the street, castrated their body parts, and they would wear dresses; they would put makeup on their face, and it would have long hair, and they would twirl around as they’re gay, as they’re homosexual; they would castrate their body. They were priests that served a demonic female God. And this is what’s happening today: Is that the LGBTQ—this movement—and I pray for young people in this room to listen to me—God loves you so much that he brought you in his room today. God loves you so much that he brought you here today. God does not want to condemn you tonight; God wants to save you tonight. God does not want to condemn you tonight; God wants to open your eyes. Why the rainbow? Why, out of all the signs, is it a rainbow? Why did they pick a rainbow? The rainbow was a sign in the Old Testament that God put in the sky after he destroyed people in the flood, and the rainbow was to be a covenant for everybody to look at and remember when God said, “I will not destroy the Earth anymore.” So when you looked at the rainbow, you were to remember the covenant of God. But not only that, you were meant to remember the holiness of God. When we look at a rainbow, we are to remember how righteous and how holy God is—that in his holiness, he destroyed the Earth with a flood. So when you realize that the LGBTQ used the rainbow, it’s not a coincidence that the biblical rainbow has seven colors representing God, but the LGBTQ rainbow has six colors representing man. It’s a demonic spirit that—that when every time they wave the rainbow flag, every time they wave the rainbow flag, every time our country waves the rainbow flag—you might not know this, but it is a spiritual rebellion against God, saying, “God, I know you destroyed the Earth thousands of years ago because of its wickedness, but we don’t care about your law.” Every time the country waves the rainbow flag, they are saying, “God, we don’t care about your holiness; we don’t like your structure; we don’t like that you created us male and female; we want to break it.” The spirit, the LGBTQ, is a demonic agenda that hates God and hates young men.
Did you know that Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in the Bible—the names weren’t Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego? The real names were different; these were the Babylonian names given to them to change their identity. Did you know that Shadrach’s real name was Hananiah, which means Yahweh is gracious, and the Babylonian King changed his name to Shadrach, which means commander of the Moon God? Meshach’s real name was Mishael, which means who is like our God, and the Babylonians changed his name to Meshach, which means who is like Aoup, the moon God? Abednego’s real name was Azariah, which means the Lord is my helper, but they changed his name to Abednego, meaning servant of Nego. And the devil wants to change the identity of young men and women. The devil wants to change your identity because if he changes your name, if he changes your pronoun, if he changes your gender, you will forget the God that created you. So he wants to change your name from Mishael to Meshach; he wants to change your name from Azariah to Abednego; he wants to change your identity—now pronouns—so many pronouns: Abinary, Agender, MB gender, Xgender, Winkle, Twinkle, Caliby, Nether, Neur gender, Nur, Demi guy, Demi man, Demi gender, Demi woman, Demi boy, FF—what the—oh no, no—fa—fine—f—I don’t know what that is. Maverick man, of trans Superman. I don’t know what—I don’t know what’s going on anymore. It’s too—I actually don’t understand what’s going on anymore. And they keep coming up to us and say, “Use my pronouns.” Well, what’s your pronouns? “She, her.” What’s your pronouns? “They, them.” What’s your pronouns? What’s your pronouns like? Have you seen that lady giving a haircut? “Can I touch you? Yeah. What’s your—what’s your—what’s your preferred pronouns?” “She, her, they, them.” And this is the thing, Christians, is that the reason we refuse to use people’s pronouns, it’s not because we hate them; it’s because we love them. You see, when a young person tells me, “I want to use my pronouns,” the reason I don’t use it is not because I hate them, and it’s not because God wants to condemn them. I love people enough to not use the pronouns. I love you enough to call you who God created you to be. I love you enough to not use hell’s language. I love you enough to use God’s language. I love you enough to call you male if you’re a male, and I love you enough to call you female if you’re a female. I love you enough to not call you what the devil wants you to be. I want you to—to find out who does God want you to be. Say if you’re a male, I’m going to call you a male.
“Keep telling me, ‘Martin, come out.’ Pastor M, come out. Come out, Martin. They were commenting, ‘You talk about gay so much; I’m starting to think you’re gay.’ I’m like, ‘You caught me; I’m like, you busted me.’ They’re like, ‘Martin, I know there’s a little butterfly within you, fly.’ And I’m like, ‘Okay, yay.’ I’m like, ‘I’m coming out of my masculinity. You’re right; I’m a sweetie—sweetie pie on the inside.’ And they keep saying, ‘Pastor M, when are you coming out? When are you coming out?’ They come out of the closet. The idea is you come out; you’re not embarrassed anymore, and you come out of your old life. The idea is you come out of your old life; you’re not a man anymore; you come out as a female; you’re not a female anymore; you come out as a man. And this—the thing I want to tell them is that as Christians, we already came out, but we don’t come out as gay; we come out as righteous. And we don’t come out of our masculinity; we come out of our sin. You see, in Christianity, we come out, and they copied us—the LGBTQ community copied the idea of coming out—because as Christians, we are called to come out. When God says, “Lazarus, come out of the grave,” God tells every Christian, “Come out of the grave; come out of sin; come out of wickedness; come out of impurity.” So God already told us to come out, so I am coming out, but I’m not coming out as gay; I’m coming out as a man of God. I’m not coming out in sin; I’m coming out in righteousness. In fact, I already came out when I went into the water and I got raised out of the water. I came out, and I left my sin in the water; I left my past in the water; I left my desires in the water; I left my flesh in the water. You want to know my pronouns? I’m a man of God. You want to know my pronouns? I am a Christian; I’m a Christ-follower. That’s what I am. If anybody wants to know your pronouns, tell them that’s it, man. God is not calling you to come out of the closet of masculinity into femininity; God is calling you to come out of the closet of femininity into masculinity, man. God is calling you tonight to come out of your cowardness. God is calling you tonight to come out of your fear. God is calling men tonight: Come out of your fear and timidity and step into your God-given calling and lead your family and lead your children in the ways of the Lord. Woman, don’t date a pretty boy. If your boyfriend wears nail polish and makeup, you didn’t find a boyfriend; you found a girlfriend. Don’t date a boy with makeup and nail polish; that’s a girlfriend. All the boys are like, “Oops.” Now, for all the men, why are you gay? I have a few points for, “Why are you gay?” What is the role of a biblical man? What is the role of a man of God? There are attributes to be a man. Just because you have a beard and you got big arms doesn’t make you a man. There are biblical attributes that make you a godly man, and the first attribute is this: Is that men are the providers of their home. Men are the providers of their home. If you’re not the provider of your home, man, I have a question for you: Why are you gay?
The first responsibility given to men in Genesis 2 was, “Go and work the ground and go and take care of the field.” The first responsibility that God put on men was to take care of the ground and get to work. The first responsibility God says—God put Adam in the field in the Garden of Eden to work it and keep it. The woman should never have to worry about money. Your wife should never have to worry about money. Your wife should never have to worry about a roof over her head, about clothes on her back, about food on her table. It is the man’s responsibility to carry the weight of the household and provide for his wife and provide for his children. That’s what makes you a man. That’s why Jacob, when he wanted to marry Rachel, what did he do? He worked for seven years to prove to her dad, “I can take care of your daughter.” If you want to marry somebody, if you want to marry a woman, if you want to be a man, get to work and stop getting fired and stop TikToking and stop living on the side and stop playing video games. If you want—want to be a real man, get a job and provide for your wife; get a job and provide for your family. That’s what makes you a man: It’s that you can provide for your family. If your wife has to worry about money, I want to ask you, “Why are you gay?” When men don’t work, it’s four issues: It’s a psychological issue; it’s a theological issue; it’s a spiritual issue; and it’s a wisdom issue. Psychological issue is this: Is that as men, it’s in our DNA to build and work. God created men—in our DNA to build and work and do something with our hands. God created men to work. It’s in our DNA to go to war; it’s in our DNA to protect; it’s in our DNA to build. And why are young men gaming all the time? Why do men game all the time? It’s really simple: Men were created to build, and what gaming does is it gives them a virtual reality of being a man. What gaming does—and this is why men game—is that they want to feel like a man by building a house. So instead of building a house in the real world, they build a house on Minecraft to feel like a man. Instead of building a house in the real world, they build on Minecraft to feel like a man. Instead of providing for a real woman, they provide for an imaginary wife. Instead of protecting their wife and their children, they’re protecting them in Call of Duty. And this is why men play games: It’s to get this false idea that “I’m a real man.” And as you play games, you are ticking all these boxes in your mind, and you’re deceiving your mind. If you ever looked at your husband, you’re like, “Why does he like this game so much?” It’s his—in it’s in his DNA to play games, but in the real world, it’s in our DNA to build houses; it’s in our DNA to build businesses; it’s in our DNA to go to war. But God didn’t call you to build a digital family; God called you to build a real family. God did not create you to provide for your imaginary wife; God created you to provide for your real wife. God did not create you…
To protect her fake family online. God created you to protect a real family. So that's why men like to play games; it's a psychological issue. It makes him feel like a man. It's a theological issue. Men don't understand what the Bible has to say about work. Men think that work is a burden. Young men in the West, they're tick-tocking, and they think, "Man, I do not want to go to work." Culture has made you think that work is a punishment from God, and you want to escape work. Men can't—men can't wait to retire. Men don't want to go to work, and it's because you don't know what the Bible has to say about work.
In fact, the Bible is very clear about work. Work is not a punishment from God; work is a calling from God. Every man in this room, work wasn't a result of the Fall. Adam didn't go to work after Eve ate of the tree. Adam was working before Eve ate from the tree. So work is not a result of the Fall. Work as a responsibility given to every man before sin entered the world. In fact, in a perfect, perfect world, men work. When you go to heaven, you will work. Some men are like, "Man, I finally retired." You're going to die, and as you enter the streets of Heaven, God would say, "Welcome, here's a shovel." Have you seen that Meme where you know you're joking around with your boss, and all of a sudden he turns like a boss on you, she like, and all of a sudden he's like, "Get to work"? That's what's going to happen when you get to heaven. All the men are going to get to heaven. "Jesus, I love you," and He's going to be like, "I love you, that was so cute of you. Good job, you did so well," then and you're going to be laughing so much, expected to keep laughing. He's like, "Get to work!" And Jesus going to look at every man, be like, "Get to work! Grab a shovel! Take care of that lion! Take care of that horse! Do something with your life!" Why? 'Cuz it's not a sin to work. Sin is not a punishment from God; sin is a responsibility on every man. Men are created to work. God says, "Six days you shall labor and do all your work, and on the seventh day then you shall rest." A lot of men today are working three days, resting four. A lot of men are resting six days, working one. The Rhythm that God established for every man is you work six days and you rest one day. The difference between a lazy man and a man resting is a lazy man rests from resting. Have you ever seen a guy, he's resting all day? Like, "Why are you resting?" He's like, "I was resting yesterday, and I'm tired." I'm like, "What? I'm tired." I'm like, "Why are you tired? What did you do yesterday?" "Nothing." So they're resting from resting. That—that's called laziness. But real men don't rest from resting; they rest from work. In fact, real men, they go to rest not to escape work, but real men go to rest in order to get refreshed to go back to work. Rest is not an escape from work; rest is God's grace on man, telling you, "You have worked six days, you've done so well," and God is giving you a gift to rest for one day, get refreshed for one day, get stamina for one day. It is a gift from God that He gives to every man, one day of rest. Why? So you can go back and provide for your family. You can go back to work. So when I rest, I'm not saying, "Thank God I'm not working anymore," I'm saying, "Lord, refresh me again, give me strength again so I can go back and provide for my family." Work is a spiritual issue. Godly men work; wicked men are lazy. Godly men work; wicked men are lazy. We've patted people on the back so much that when they don't work, we call them lazy. The Bible doesn't call people who don't work lazy; the Bible calls them wicked. It's a spiritual issue. When a man is not working, it's not just a personality type; he's going through an issue. This is a spiritual issue; there is a sin in their life. In fact, a spiritual man goes to work because God called him to work. A lazy man doesn't go to work because it is wickedness. There's a parable in the Bible of three men; two of them worked. The parable of Talent; two men worked, and one man didn't. And when the two men came to the master, the master said, "Well done, good and faithful servant," but the one servant who didn't work, God says, "Get away from me, you lazy and wicked servant." So all of a sudden you realize that a man not working is not just lazy; a man not working is wickedness. When a man and your child are sitting at home playing video G for five video games for 5 days, that's no laziness; that's wickedness. It is a spiritual issue. Godly men prosper and get promoted; wicked men get fired and can't keep a job. If you've noticed, young men get fired from every job; they can't keep a job. It's a spiritual issue. And that's why Joseph in the Bible is a young 17-year-old boy; whatever he got put in, Joseph went as a slave boy. Guess what he did? He prospered; he got promoted. Joseph went into prison; what happened? He got promoted. Joseph went as a ruler in the palace; what happened? He got promoted. Why? The Bible says God was with him. When men are spiritual, when men are doing good with God, they don't get demoted; they get promoted. It is a spiritual issue when men don't go to work. It's a wisdom issue. Young boys, they think, "Man, I'm going to get married to the love of my life. I'm going to get married to the love of my life, and the roof is going to be over my head, the food is going to come on the table, everything's going to fall," and all of a sudden you get married and you're like, "Crack, my daddy ain't here anymore. My daddy's not going to give me pocket money anymore. My daddy's not going to pay the bills anymore." It is a wisdom issue when young men think that money grows on trees. But the Bible says it very seriously: money doesn't grow on trees. The Bible says this, the Bible says in Proverbs 10:4, "Lazy hands make for poverty, but diligent hands bring wealth." Young man, wealth doesn't come by accident; wealth comes by working. And I want to tell all the women in this room, if your man ain't working, dump him tonight. If your man is not working, break up with him right now. If your man is lazy, if your man has the ability to work but is not going to work, break up with him, 'cuz he's going to stuff your life up, and he's going to stuff your children up. You need a man who will provide for you and go to work for you. Men are not just the providers of their home; men are the spiritual protectors of their home.
The West carry the passive Ahab Spirit. We spoke about the Jezebel spirit. The Jezebel spirit is the feminist Spirit, but the Ahab spirit is a passive man Spirit. Ahab was a passive man, and Ahab married a Woman by the name of Jezebel, and Jezebel wore the pants in the marriage. Jezebel wore the pants in a relationship. Ahab was so passive, and he was meant to worship Yahweh and worship God, but he marries a Woman by the name of Jezebel, and she worships a God by the name of Ba'al, and she comes up to her hubby, and she's like, "Hey, hubby, Ahab, cannot bring my Ba'al idol with me," me, and she marries him, and she asks him, "Can I bring Ba'al with me? Can we begin to worship Ba'al?" And Ahab, as a passive man, doesn't say no to her, but he says, "Of course, honey, you can bring Ba'al, and we can worship him together." That's the spirit of a passive man. The spirit of a passive man is scared to correct his wife. Ahab was a passive man. Jezebel wanted to bring a god into the home, and he said, "Of course, you can." Passive men are silent in the face of sin, and passive men watch sin enter their home, and they don't say a word about it. Passive men watch swearing come in their home; they watch Godless movies come in their home; they watch people dishonor their parents; they watched the world creep in, and all of a sudden sin entered into the house of the man, and the man stayed silent and didn't say a word. And by the end, your house is filled with idols; your house now is filled with swearing; your house is filled with secular music; your house is filled with secular movies; all of a sudden pronouns are used in your household. Why? You carry the passive Ahab spirit. Ahab's Spirit is scared to confront his wife. Listen to me, Ahab's spirit is scared to confront his wife. I'm talking to every man here, every man. The Demonic agenda of Jezebel is to put fear in you to not speak to her about a problem, problem, and what ends up happening is that men see their wife sinning or see their wife living in sin, and instead of the man correcting her in love, the man tiptoes around his wife. Why? He's scared of offending her, and he doesn't want to awaken a dragon. You know exactly what I'm talking about. All the women are like, "Oops." Every man, you see sin come in your home, but you're scared to confront your wife. You're scared to tell her, "We don't do this here." You're scared to tell her, "This is not how we do this," and you welcome Ba'al into your home. That's a Jezebel and Ahab type of spirit. And all the women, you keep calling, "Yeah, baby, sugar plum." I don't call my wife sugar plum; that's weird, man. I don't know what you call your wife, but this is the issue now, it's that women have confused the role of the husband. And you could call your hubby baby all you want; you can do whatever you want. Call him baby, call him sugar plum, call him Curry, or whatever Jay, I don't know what your future wife wants to call you, call him whatever you want, you could him anything, but the issue happens now is in the West, in in the Bible, and in leadership, in real Christianity, the husband is not your hubby or your baby; the husband is your leader. So in real life, the husband is your leader, and the husband is the Lord, and the husband is the master. And all the one, wait, what? The Bible says Sarah called Abraham her Lord. Why? Sarah saw Abraham as her Lord and saw him not as an authoritative figure, but she saw him as the head of the house, house. But now women, they're like, "Hey, you're my hubby, you're my bestie, you're my friend," and all of a sudden now when your friend sins, you don't want to tell them what's wrong. So the men around the woman, and we've created this new idea of "Happy wife, happy life." "Happy wife, happy life." If I can make my wife happy, then I'll have a happy life. But this is not biblical at all because just because your wife is happy doesn't mean you're going to have a happy life. The goal of every man is not to have a happy wife; the goal of every man is to have a happy God. The goal of every man is to please God above his wife. We have created this idea, "Happy wife, happy life," so now men, instead of obeying God, the wife wants to do something that opposes the Bible, so the men say, "Happy wife, happy life," but I want to remind you that that was Ahab's motto of Life, "Happy Jezebel, happy life." That was Adam's motor of Life, "Happy Eve, happy life," and was like, "I want to eat the tree," and Adam was like, "Sure, go, baby. Happy wife, happy life," but all of a sudden he realized that not "Happy wife, happy life," because God told him, "Because you listened to the voice of your wife and you disobeyed me, you will be removed from the garden." So all the men in this room, if your wife goes against the scripture, your job is not to make her happy; it's to make God happy. Your job is to please God above your baby, oh my baby. Your job is to please God above your wife. I honor God above everything.
For the parents, we are passive fathers now. We have tolerant but passive fathers. Eli was a priest in the Bible, and he had children that were disobeying God, and look at what happened. 1 Samuel 2:29 says, "Eli was very old, and he kept hearing all that his sons were doing, how they lay with the women, and he said to them, 'Why do you do such things?' To his children, he says, 'I hear your evil dealings, no, my sons, it's not a good report that I hear this,' but his children would not listen to the voice of their father." Passive and tolerant dad. And then a man of God came to Eli and said to him, "Thus says the Lord, 'Did I indeed reveal myself to the house of your father when they were in Egypt? Did I choose him out of all the tribes of Israel to be my priest to go up to my altar? Why then do you scorn my sacrifices?'" And he says, "Why do you honor your sons above me?" All the men in this room, when you disobey God and you let your children live in sin and let your wife live in sin, it is very simple: you are honoring your wife and your children above God. But man, your job is to honor God above everyone. Man, you are the protector of your home. Man, you are the protector of your home. As the enemy is chucking gender ideologies, as the enemy is chucking secular music, as the enemy is chucking the fiery darts of Hell, secular movies and Godless movies, the enemy is chucking the fiery darts at your family, and guess what the man's job to do? The man's job is to stand in front of his wife and family and make sure that he protects the family; he protects his wife from the fiery darts of the enemy. As cultures chucking fiery darts, your family, pronouns, gender ideologies, secular movies, Godless songs, your job as a man of the household is to stand there like a man and protect your family and children. Man, you are the priest of your home. You are the one that dedicates your family to God. You are the priest of your home. The priest's job is to dedicate a people to God. The priest was a spiritual man; he was a man of prayer; he was a man of fasting. You are the prophet of your home. All the men in his house, you are the prophet of your home. Prophets go in private, and Prophets hear the word of the Lord, and then they go out in public, and they go to their family, and they proclaim the word of God. Men, you are the prophets of your home. You hear from God; you listen to His voice; you study the scripture; you learn the Bible, and then you go to your family, and you command them in the ways of the Lord. You are the priest of your home, and you are the prophet of your home, and man, your job is to wash your wife with the word of God. Look at this in Ephesians chapter 5: "Husbands, love your wives as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her." All the husbands love that part. "I love my wife, you're so romantic, my lovey-dovey, my baby, baby." You got that part right, but that's not just the role of the man; it's not just to love his wife. "Love your wives as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word of God, and that he might present the church to himself in splendor without spot, wrinkle, or blemish, and she might be holy and without blemish." Man, your job is to wash your family with the word of God. Your job is to wash your wife with the word of God. Look at the word in the meaning, the word sanctify in the Greek is the word hagiazo; it's the same word used in The Lord's Prayer when they said, "Holy is your name." God is telling the father, "Your job is to make your wife consecrated and separated from the world." Your job is to dedicate your family to God and purify your family from all sin. Your job is to cleanse your family. That word cleanse is the word katharizo; it means to clean, purify from wickedness, free from defilement, pronounce clean. Your job is to wash and bathe your family in the word of God. I'm sorry, man, on Judgment Day, you cannot blame your wife for the sin of your home. Man, stop being gay. And I would ask you this question, man, "Why are you gay?" Why do you keep blaming your wife for the sin of your family? Why do you keep blaming your wife that there is sin in the house? Why do you keep blaming your wife that they're not going to church? Stop blaming your wife! You are the prophet of your home; you are the priest of your home; you are the head of the house. Your job is to wash your wife with the word of God. Men today don't even read the word of God; that's how gay men have become. You do not study the word of God. You are the prophet of your home. Your job, man, is to be the pastor of the house and go in private. Did you know last night I was seeking God in my room till 1:00 in the morning for God to speak to me? Last night I was preparing this sermon in my room. Why? Because as a leader in this church, it is my responsibility to equip you and to make sure you're sanctified. So I seek God in my private room, and I go in my bedroom, and I listen to God, and I hear God's voice, and then after I seek Him in my room, I come out, and I preach the word of God to you. I equip you, and I prepare you. And men don't leave that role to the pastor of the church. I'm not the pastor of your family; where the pastor is in his church, but in your family, you are the pastor. You are responsible to go to God in private, without your wife, without your children, get on your knees and hear the word of the Lord. Hear from God in private; go away from your children; go go away; hear from God, and then wake up in the morning and bring your family and preach the word of God to them. Set them up as holy and righteous. That's your job. Cleanse your family; wash your family. Man, stop being gay. Stop being gay. Stop allowing your wife to live in sin and your children to live in sin. Your job is to realize when do I need to be a lamb and when do I need to be a lion. As a man of the house, your job is to watch your family, and if you see a sin sneak into your home, if you see the devil sneak into your home, your job is to roar like a lion and to make sure that no enemy steps into your house. You'll be surprised, man, how powerful a man running a house meeting is. When was the last time as a man of the house you got your family together in the living room and you said, "We are not doing this here"? When was the last time you heard your kid swear or you heard a sin enter your house and you said to your wife and children, "We're meeting in the living room right now," and you got your family in the room and you said to the family, "We are not doing this here"? But men have been waiting too long. You saw the devil sneak in; you saw hell sneak in; you saw demons sneak in, and you let it in. But I challenge every man today, make it a normal habit to organize a family meeting. Get your family in the living room. I don't care if it's 2:00 in the morning; I don't care if they're tired; I don't care if they're hungry. Get them in the room and say, "Children, I'm sorry, I am the head of this house, and we are not going that direction. We are not dishonoring in this house; we are not swearing in this house; we're not listening to these songs in this house; we're not listening to these movies in this house." Step into your God-given role and lead your family in the way of the Lord. Run a family meeting. And this is the last point I want to talk about: submission and authority, submission and authority in the home. Ephesians 5 says this: "Wives, submit to your own husbands as to the Lord, for the husband is the head of the wife even as Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is himself its savior."
As the church submits to Christ, so wives should submit in everything to their husbands. Submission. All the, “em, like, ah, submission, ah, don’t mention that word. I don’t want that word, ah, I don’t want to.” And you say submission, all the… what’s going on? Don’t mention that word in the house of God. And submission has become a trigger word, and women are like, “I’m not submitting to any man. I don’t listen to any man.” Have you heard all the girls that said that? It’s okay, we forgive you, it’s all right when you said, “I’m not listening to no man. I’m not submitting to no man. No man is above me. No man is my authority.” And all of a sudden, submission has become a trigger word for all the feminists.
On the other side are the domineering men. You, you know, the domineering man. The domineering men are the ones that act like apes: “Me man, you woman, me speak, you do.” That’s the ape type of man, the domineering type of man. You got the feminist woman, and you got the domineering man. The feminist woman doesn’t want to submit; the domineering man thinks he’s an ape and thinks, “I say, you do. You sit down here. You sit down here. You feed me that.” And all of a sudden, you got this domineering man, and both extremes are not biblical; both extremes are not godly. Feminist woman who don’t want to submit is not biblical; domineering men is not biblical.
But the biblical idea is this: woman, I want to speak to you for a moment. Submission is a normal word. Submission. Listen, woman, say it off to me: sub-mission. Relax, relax, breathe in, breathe out. Submission is a normal word. It’s a very… you want to do meditation? I’m joking. Submission is a very normal word. In fact, submission is used all throughout the Bible. In fact, it’s used outside of the Bible. You see, Christians submit to God, right? Christians submit to God. We submit to governing authorities. We submit to our spiritual authorities in the church and Leadership. We submit to our boss. Children submit to their parents. Wife submit to their husband. The word submission is a very normal word. But what feminists have done is they’ve made this word a demonic word that you want to stay away from. But it’s a very, very normal word to use. In fact, you submit to people every single day. You put your ideas under someone every single day.
When was the last time a woman went up to her boss and said, “Hey man, I don’t like the way you speak to me. I’m not submitting to you.” When was the last time you went up to your boss and said, “I’m not submitting to you. You’re not my authority. Who do you think you are?” You don’t do that. Why? Because you understand it’s not… it’s not a value issue; it’s a function issue. Submission is not a value issue; submission is a function issue. The reason you have to submit to your boss at work is because somebody has to make the final decision, right? The reason we have to submit to the government is otherwise the Arabs are going to go 100 in the speed limit, and the Chinese are going to go 50. There has to be someone on the top. [Applause] Right? Submission is a very normal word, right? If there’s no head, everybody would just be bashing each other: “I don’t like you, bash you.” There has to be somebody on the top who’s the head, and he directs the ship. There has to be a… When was the last time you were driving with the Uber driver and you’re like, “Who the heck do you think you are to direct this car? I’m directing it.” No, there has to be one person that directs your ship, otherwise the ship will crash; otherwise the car will crash. It’s a very normal word. Submission is a normal idea, but feminists have made it a trigger word: “No, no, no, you submit every single day.” When I order coffee from a woman, she’s listening to me, do you know that? Oh, the feminist, I’m like, “Get me a coffee,” they’re like, “Okay.” I’m like, it’s a very normal thing. You listen to your boss; you listen to the people you’re serving. It’s a normal thing. And submission, it’s not a matter of value; it’s a matter of function.
Christianity is not Islam. Islam puts a woman down, and a man can marry four women, and a woman just has to deal with it. In Christianity, it’s not like that. In Christianity, God values the woman and the man the same, but the reason God put the head on the top is because a house divided against itself will not… so God has to put a head on the top. It’s a very normal thing. And for all my feminists that they’re like, “I’m not serving my husband,” they’re like, “Why would I serve my husband? I’m not doing that. I’m not serving no man.” You have a wrong idea of serving, and you think serving is weakness. Serving is not weakness. In fact, the Bible makes it very clear that serving is not weakness; serving is your responsibility as a Christian. In fact, this is the question of feminists. Feminists are always asking the question, “Who is the greatest among us? And who the heck does my husband think he is that I’m going to serve for him and I’m going to cook him food?” This is what feminists are asking: “Who the heck does my husband think he is that I’m going to serve him?” But look at what Jesus said in Luke 22: Jesus said, “Who is the greater, the one who reclines at the table or the one who serves?” Although feminists would be like, “Obviously the one who reclines at the table, he’s the greater one,” but Jesus said, “Is… is it not the one who reclines the table to the greatest?” But Jesus said, “But I am among you as the one who serves.” For all the feminists in the west, Jesus, if he was here today, feminists would consider Jesus as weak and as not strong. Feminists would consider Jesus not to be great. But Jesus flips the kingdom of God. The kingdom of God is an upside-down kingdom because the greatest among you is not the one that’s being served; the greatest among you is the one that’s serving. And all of a sudden, God flips the kingdom upside down and tells the woman, “It is okay to serve. It is not that you’re weaker; you are reflecting Jesus. That Jesus didn’t come to be served; Jesus came to serve.” Or the feminist, you are made in the image of God to serve. Serving is not something you do; serving is your identity. So when a woman or the feminist are like, “Who do you think I am? A servant?” I’m like, “Kind of. Who do you think I am? A servant?” Like, let me check, yeah, kind of. Who do you think I am? Cleaning after you and washing after you and cooking for you? A servant? I’m like, let me check, yeah, yeah, that’s right. Paul starts all his letters by saying, “Paul, a servant of the Lord Jesus Christ.” James, a servant of the Lord Jesus Christ. Timothy, a servant of the Lord Jesus Christ. You are a servant whether you like it or not. So the moment you be okay with this idea that you’re a servant, you relax a bit, and you’re not going to be a nagging woman to your husband anymore.
And lastly, let’s talk to the men. All the apes, where are all the apes here? All the evolved people. Now I’m joking. All the domineering men, I’ll end with this thought: the domineering man, you use your authority to serve yourself. You use your authority for your benefit: “Me man, you woman, me speak, you obey.” You ape, you think the authority God gave you is for your benefit. You think the authority God gave you is for your own good. You think the authority God gave you is for the woman to be your slave and a woman to serve you and make you happy. But man, you lost the whole point of being the figure and the head of the house. You lost the whole point of being the authority in the house. Man are like, “I’m the authority in the House, serve me.” Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, man, God is about to slap the gay out of you. Watch this verse. All the men are like, “I’m the head, I’m the leader.” All right, look at John 13:3. For the men that think they have authority, it says, “Jesus knew that the Father had given him authority over everything.” All the men, this is time for you to listen. Jesus knew that the Father had given him all authority over everything, and that he had come from God and would return to God. Jesus knew that he was a king of kings and the Lord of lords. Jesus had a moment of realization that he is the God of Heaven and Earth. Jesus understood, “I have all authority under me.” So the next verse… so Jesus got up from the table, took off his robe, rubbed a towel around his waist, and poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples’ feet. That doesn’t make sense. Jesus knew that all authority around the world, all authority in… in heaven and on Earth was given to him. Jesus knew that… that he is the king of kings and the Lord of lords, and all of a sudden Jesus does something that doesn’t make sense. He doesn’t sit on a throne and get the woman to wash his feet. Jesus gets down and washes the disciples’ feet. All of a sudden you realize that it is an upside-down kingdom, that the man’s authority… and not to serve him but to serve his wife. I want to show you this analogy. Jesus says, “All authority has been given to me,” and he gets down and washes the disciples’ feet. It’s like me, as the man of the house, I go up to my wife and I say to her, “Do you understand I am the head of this house? I am the leader of this house. This is exactly what was going on. I am the head of the house.” Imagine, as a man of the house, I’m the head here. Do you understand? I am in charge here. I am the boss in this house. I make the final call in this house. Oh, authority in this house has been given to me. Do you understand? Are you sure? Yes, I’m the man of this house. Yes, listen to me, man. Let’s mirror this story for a moment for all my domineering men. I am the head of this house. I am the leader of this house. I am in charge of this house. You will listen to me. I am above you. I am not next to you. I am your lord, and I your husband, and I am… do you understand that I’m the authority here? Yes. Okay. Well, take [Applause] my… Jesus begins to wash the disciples’ feet. It doesn’t make sense. It actually… this story for me, when I read it, I was like, that doesn’t make sense. How can you know all authority is given to you, then wash your disciples’ feet? How… it doesn’t make sense. And it doesn’t, because the person who washed the disciples’ feet, that was the lowest ranking servant. Do you understand the culture of the time? The lowest servant would wash his disciples’ feet. The lowest servant would wash anyone that came in the house. That was the lowest of the lowest. And Jesus says, “Hey, I’m the teacher, I’m the rabbi, I am God, I am the king of kings, I am the Lord of lords,” and then he gets down and washes his disciples’ feet. Why? It’s an upside-down kingdom. It is an upside-down kingdom. The authority God gave the husband is not to serve himself. The authority God gave the husband is to serve his wife. Every decision you make as a man, whether you’re married or you’re about to get married or… to get married, every decision I make for my wife to submit to me in that decision wasn’t made based on my happiness. I didn’t make a decision about what will make me happy, what will benefit me, what will benefit me, what will serve me. Every decision I make as a head of this household, I am thinking one thing: what will bless my wife, what will benefit my wife, what will serve my wife. This is the kingdom of God. This is the greatest news ever, that God chose the man to serve the woman, to lay his life down. You can say, “Sandy men,” the authority God gave you is not for you to treat your wife like your slave. Your wife is not your slave. Your wife is your co-heir. Your wife is not under you in value; your wife is under you in function. She’s not under you so you can mock her. She’s not under you to feed your pride and your insecurity. Some men, they abuse their wife and hit their wife to feel like the man. If you do that to one of the daughters of God, God will destroy your life. All the men in this house, if you abuse your authority, God is telling you, “I will take away your authority from you, cuz you dishonored the woman that I gave you.” As the Bible says, the man is the head of the wife, but God is the head of the man. Every man in this room, you are not the final authority; you have a God above you that you submit to, and your job is to serve your wife. So now, who’s really serving who? Yeah, so she serves me by honoring me and submitting to me. She washes my feet by honoring me and submitting to me, but really she’s submitting to me in a decision that I made based on her joy. So the decision I made was about serving her. So really, is she washing my feet by submitting to me, or am I washing her feet? Who is serving who? I don’t understand. It’s a serving… situation. Marriage is an upside-down kingdom. The kingdom of God is upside down, and all of a sudden marriage doesn’t become a gender war; marriage doesn’t become a war of who is the greatest. Marriage becomes a war of who is the greatest servant of all. Marriage becomes a war, not the feminist saying, “I am greater,” or the domineering man saying, “I am greater,” but both of them saying, “I am going to be the greatest servant in this house.” The woman serves a husband by submitting to him; the man serves a woman by loving her and cherishing her. Your wife is not your slave; your wife is the treasure of your life. Your wife is not your slave; she is a treasure, a gift from God given to you. So honor your responsibility. And now imagine what would happen if marriages in the church didn’t argue about being the greatest, but you argued about, “Let me… we serve you.”
